Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To determine the development of labor absorption in the industrial sector, minimum wages, economic growth, and industrial investment in Jambi Province 2000-2018. 2) To determine the effect of minimum wages, economic growth, and industrial investment on labor absorption in Jambi Province 2000-2018. The research analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis tools. Based on the results of the F test, it is known or obtained a probability significance of 0.000 is smaller than alpha 5 percent, namely 0.05. This means that the minimum wage, economic growth, and investment variables together have a significant effect on the labor absorption variable. The variable that has a significant effect on labor absorption in the industrial sector in Jambi Province is the minimum wage variable because the probability value is 0.018 where the probability value is less than 0.05, while the variables of economic growth and industrial investment do not have a significant effect on employment in the sector. industry in Jambi Province because the probability value is greater than 0.05. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leading sectors in the economy in Batanghari Regency. This study uses secondary data for the period 2011-2017, sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of Jambi Province and Batanghari Regency. The analysis tools used are Location Quotient (LQ) analysis and Shift Share analysis. The results of the study found that the leading sectors in Batanghari Regency are the manufacturing industry sector, the government administration sector, defense, compulsory social security, and the education service sector. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To analyze the development of interest rates on credit, inflation, economic growth, and demand for credit in banks at BPR Tanggo Rajo. and 2) To analyze the effect of the interest rate on credit, inflation, and economic growth on the demand for bank credit in banks at BPR Tanggo Rajo. Based on the simultaneous test results, the variables of credit interest rates, inflation, and economic growth together have a significant effect on credit demand at BPR Tanggo Rajo. Whereas in the partial only variable interest rates and economic growth have a significant and negative effect on credit demand at BPR Tanggo Rajo, while the inflation variable does not have a significant and negative effect on credit demand for BPR Tanggo Rajo. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze: 1) the characteristics of PKB arrears in terms of age, education level, income, and motor vehicle tax service system (PKB) in Tungkal Ilir District and 2). The influence of age, education level, income, and motor vehicle tax service system (PKB) on motor vehicle tax arrears in Tungkal Ilir District. The data analysis method used in this study used descriptive analysis and regression analysis, models. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained: years, the average level of education of respondents is SMA / equivalent and the average monthly income/income is Rp. 2,486,000. Age (U) has a positive and significant effect on motor vehicle tax arrears, while education level (TP), income (P), and tax service system (SP) have a negative effect. and significant to the Motor Vehicle Tax arrears in Tungkal Ilir District, either jointly or partially. Abstract

This study aims, (1) To analyze the development of local revenue, general allocation funds, special allocation funds, and economic growth in the districts/municipalities of Jambi Province (2) To determine the effect of local revenue, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds on district economic growth/City of Jambi Province partially and simultaneously. Data sourced from the Jambi Province Central Bureau of Statistics and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance using panel data analysis methods and using descriptive analysis tools. Based on the results of data processing, the following results are obtained: First, the average development of the variable local revenue, general allocation funds, special allocation funds, and fluctuating economic growth from year to year. second, (1) local revenue and special allocation funds have a negative and significant effect on the economic growth of districts/cities in Jambi Province. (2) General allocation funds have a negative and insignificant effect on the economic growth of districts/cities in Jambi Province. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the development of lavies received on tourism object, the number of tourist visits, the number of hotels and the number of tourist attractions in Jambi City, 2) to analyze the effect of the number of tourist visits, the number of hotels and the number of tourist attractions on the receipt of levies for tourism object in Jambi City. The data used in this research was secondary data. The data analysis method used in this research is the developments formula and multiple linear regression analysis with the eviews program. The results showed that realization of levies received aon tourism object in Jambi City increased by an average 0f 35.31% with an average amount of tourist visits of 55.74%, the number of hotels an average 0.50%, and the number of tourist attractions an average 0,37%. While the result of the t-test shows that partially the number of tourist visits and the number of hotels have a significant effect on the acceptance of tourism object fees in Jambi City with a significant value of P <0.05. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) analyze the production factors that affect the production of bokar, 2) analyze the level of technical, allocative and economic efficiency of bokar production factors in Muhajirin Village, Jambi Luar Kota District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The model used in this study was a multiple linear regression model. The result showed that labor and the amount of use superior seeds had no significant effect on bokar production in Muhajirin Village, while the plant age and land area variables had a significant effect on bokar production in Muhajirin Village. The average value of technical efficiency was 0,754, which means that the bokar production bussines in Muhajirin Village was technically efficient, the value of allocative efficiency was -1,65 and the economic efficiency was -1,25. This shows that the bokar production business in Muhajirin Village has not reached the value of economic efficiency. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze 1) the proportion of regional expenditure in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency; 2) regional fiscal capacity in West Tanjung Jabung Regency; 3) the ratio of regional financial independence of West Tanjung Jabung Regency; 4) the financial performance of the regional government of West Tanjung Jabung Regency and 5) the influence of regional spending on economic growth in the West Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data used in this study are secondary data. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the proportion of indirect expenditure to regional expenditure tended to decrease, while the proportion of direct expenditure to regional expenditure had an increase. The fiscal capacity of Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency for 11 years is still very lacking at the interval scale. The regional financial independence of West Tanjung Jabung Regency is in the low criteria. The regional financial performance of Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency is in the low and very low criteria. Abstract

The main objectives of this research are to analyze the characteristics of Mini Market consumers, traditional markets, and street vendors and analyze the factors that influence the interest of buying halal labeled food products in Kuala Tungkal Tanjung Jabung Barat District. The data used in this study is the primary data. The result of the research found the characteristics of the interest of the Mini Market consumers, traditional markets, and street vendors products in Kuala Tungkal Tanjung Jabung Barat District based on female gender is 64%, Islamic religion 72%, senior high school education 68%, 44% self-employed, Rp 1.000.000–Rp 2.000.000 as much as 38% and consumer response does not care about the halal label as much as 28%. the result of research indicates that comprehension, packaging, and hygiene variables influence the interest in buying halal labeled food products in Kuala Tungkal. Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic development of poverty in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The data is used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data and economic growth rate in East Tanjung Jabung Regency. The method of analysis is used in this study is a simple regression. The results of this study indicated that significant capital expenditures to the GDP of the food crops sub-sector and the revenue of regency/city in Jambi Province have no significant effect. Likewise, with strong changes in the number of poor people, the percentage of poor, poverty indices, and poverty severity indices have no significant effect. Keywords: Economic growth, Poverty
