Abstract

Online shop is a quiet promising bussiness to earn profit. There are 82 millions internet user in Indonesia, it’s about 30% from Indonesia’s population. Gender isn’t an issue to become cosmetic online shop vendor. This research is conducted to reveal the factors that affect male college students motivation to become cosmetic online shop vendor, this research uses qualitative method with parcitipative observation and semi-structured interview. Result shows that all subjects’ motivation in this research are almost related to perception, self-esteem, and achievement, expectation, needs, work satisfaction, work type and characteristic, workgroup, work environment,and profit. Work group was not affecting the motivation, therefore not related with motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of laughter therapy on reducing anxiety in prisoners. The assumption that was built for the first time in this study was that there was an effect of laughter therapy on reducing anxiety in prisoners. Participants in this study were prisoners who had a sentence of more than one year or known as class B1 prisoners. The sampling technique in data collection used was by random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is an anxiety scale which amounts to 25 items, taken from aspects of anxiety Jeffry Nefid (2006). The therapy module used is a modification of the module made by Madan Kataria (2004). The data analysis method carried out in this study used the SPSS version 11.05 program facility to test whether there was an effect of laughter therapy on the anxiety of inmates. The T test used shows a very significant effect of laughter therapy on reducing anxiety in prisoners, this can be seen from the value of t = 7, 102. So the research hypothesis is accepted. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji apakah ada pengaruh terapi tawa terhadap penurunan kecemasan pada narapidana. Asumsi yang dibangun untuk pertama kali dalam penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh terapi tawa terhadap penurunan kecemasan pada narapidana. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah narapidana yang memiliki masa hukuman diatas satu tahun atau yang dikenal dengan narapidana golongan B1.Teknik sampling dalam pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah dengan Teknik random sampling. Adapun Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala kecemasan yang berjumlah 25 aitem, diambil dari aspek-aspek kecemasan Jeffry S Nefid (2006). Modul terapi yang digunakan merupakan modifikasi dari modul yang dibuat oleh Madan Kataria (2004). Metode analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan fasilitas program SPSS versi 11.05 untuk menguji apakah ada pengaruh terapi tawa terhadap kecemasan ada narapidana. Uji T yang  digunakan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terapi tawa terhadap penurunan kecemasan pada narapidana, hal ini terlihat dari nilai t = 7, 102. Sehingga hipotesis penelitian diterima.

Abstract

Abstract. Organization needs high quality employees who are willing to work outside their main tasks to support organizational performance. This willingness is known as organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) that may influenced by supportive leadership style, perceptions of organizational culture and intrinsic job satisfaction. This study aimed to explore the effect of supportive leadership style, perceptions of organizational culture and intrinsic job satisfaction on OCB. Subjects involved in this study were 68 paramedics of a private hospital in Special Region of Yogyakarta. Data were collected using three scales, and then analyzed with multiple regression. Results show that supportive leadership style, perception of organizational culture and intrinsic job satisfaction significantly predict OCB among paramedics. Perception of organizational culture have the biggest contribution in predicting OCB, followed by intrinsic job satisfaction and supportive leadership style. Improving supportive leadership styles, perceptions of organizational culture and intrinsic job satisfaction will increase the OCB of the employees.Keywords: organizational citizenship behavior, paramedics  Abstrak. Sebuah organisasi perlu memiliki pegawai yang berkualitas dan bersedia bekerja di luar tugas utamanya untuk mendukung kinerja. Kesediaan ini disebut dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh gaya kepemimpinan suportif, persepsi budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja intrinsik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan suportif, persepsi budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja intrinsik terhadap OCB. Sebanyak 68 orang tenaga paramedik sebuah rumah sakit berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala organizational citizenship behavior, skala gaya kepemimpinan suportif, skala persepsi budaya organisasi dan skala kepuasan kerja intrinsik. Analisis regresi berganda digunakan dalam proses analisis data. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan, persepsi budaya organisai dan kepuasan kerja intrinsik secara signifikan mampu memprediksi OCB. Persepsi terhadap budaya organisasi memiliki sumbangan efektif terbesar,  diikuti oleh kepuasan kerja intrinsik dan gaya kepemimpinan suportif. Dengan meningkatkan gaya kepemimpinan suportif, persepsi terhadap budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja intinsik maka akan diikuti peningkatan OCB.Kata Kunci:  organizational citizenship behavior, paramedis

Abstract

The implementation of character education for students at school is done through various ways and is adjusted to condition and environment of the school. The researchers want to find out the implementation done by educators or caregivers of school institution sustainably to observe changes on habits and attitudes of the students completely. The implementation of character education of early children at Pembina Public Kindergarten Semarang is done qualitatively by using descriptive method. The participants are 40 children of B2 and B3 groups, 4 kindergarten teachers, and the principal. The instruments of the research are observation, interview, and documentation. Findings show that character education at the kindergarten can be implemented through habituation in daily life activities. The kindergarten becomes pilot project to promote character education in Semarang city. Varieties of characters to be developed at the kindergarten are taken based on its vision. Character education of Pembina Public Kindergarten Semarang has been lasting for 9 years by bringing positive impacts for the students, school, and parents.

Abstract

Victim’s reaction that appears on the face of threats from the perpetrators of bullying is not assertive. The frecuency of bullying can be reduced by increasing victim’s assertion. One of the interventions to reduce bullying frequency is by giving assertion training for victim’s bullying. Subjects of this research are 13 elementary students, 4th and 5th grades that has been identifed as the victims through the bullying victim’s questionnair. This research was conducted in a quasiexperiment with the amount subject to as many as 6 students for the experiments group and 7 students for the control group. Data analysis performed using Mann Whitney U Test to compare the frequency of the victim’s bullying between the experimental group and the control group after a given treatment. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in frequency of the victim’s bullying between experimental groups and control groups (z = -3,012, p= 0,003; p<0,05).

Abstract

Therapeutic communication is a communication aimed to heal patients, so this skill become very important to be owned by medical workers, especially nurses who in their daily lives interact more with inpatients. For this reason, this study aimed to analyze the relationship between therapeutic communication of nurses and patient satisfaction of BPJS Health participants at the Meuraxa Regional General Hospital in Banda Aceh City. This study used a questionnaire as the main source of data collection with sampling based on purposive sampling technique. From the sample totaling 135 people, the results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between therapeutic communication of nurses and patient satisfaction as indicated by the Pearson correlation test value r = 0.323, p = 0,000, α = 0.05. These results confirm that the better therapeutic communication nurses have, the satisfaction of inpatients of BPJS Health participants at the Meuraxa Regional General Hospital in Banda Aceh City is also getting better.Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan komunikasi yang ditujukan untuk kesembuhan pasien, sehingga keterampilan ini menjadi sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh pekerja medis, terutama perawat yang dalam kesehariannya lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan pasien rawat inap. Untuk itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepuasan pada pasien rawat inap peserta BPJS Kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner sebagai sumber pengumpulan data utama dengan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Dari sampel yang berjumlah 135 orang diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara komunikasi terapeutik perawat dengan kepuasan pada pasien rawat inap yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai uji korelasi Pearson r=0,323, p=0,000, α=0,05. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa semakin baik komunikasi terapeutik yang dimiliki perawat, maka kepuasan pada pasien rawat inap peserta BPJS Kesehatan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh juga semakin baik.

Abstract

Abstract. The symptoms of selective mutism disorder in children cause it to be less able to speak in social situations where children are expected to speak. Interventions in the form of fading stimulus are expected to teach children new behaviors so that they are more adaptive in social situations. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of stimulus fading methods in reducing symptoms of selective mutism disorder in children. This study uses a single case experimental design with treatment in the form of the application of fading stimulus intervention in one 4-year-old boy who experienced symptoms of selective mutism disorder. The instruments of data collection were observation techniques of tallying behavior and rating scale, selective mutism questionnaire, and school speech questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that after giving intervention within 10 days, the subject experienced significant progress, the subject became more expressive, could mingle and interact with others. Therefore, it can be concluded that the stimulus fading method can be used to reduce the symptoms of selective mutism disorder in children. Gejala selective mutism disorder pada anak menyebabkannya kurang mampu berbicara dalam situasi sosial dimana anak diharapkan dapat berbicara. Intervensi berupa stimulus fading, diharapkan dapat mengajarkan anak perilaku baru sehingga lebih adaptif dalam situasi sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode stimulus fading dalam menurunkan gejala selective mutism disorder pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode single case experimental design dengan perlakuan berupa penerapan intervensi stimulus fading pada satu orang anak laki-laki berusia 4 tahun yang mengalami gejala selective mutism disorder. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi behavior tallying dan rating scale, selective mutism questionnaire, dan school speech questionnaire dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah pemberian intervensi selama dalam waktu 10 hari, subjek mengalami kemajuan yang signifikan, subjek menjadi lebih ekspresif, dapat berbaur dan berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode stimulus fading dapat digunakan untuk menurunkan gejala selective mutism disorder pada anak.Kata kunci: Anak; Stimulus Fading: Selective Mutism Disorder

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the happiness of couples with a marriage age above 50 years. The informants consisted of two pairs of husband and wife with a marriage age above 50 years. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and interviews with data analysis techniques consisting of data codification, triangulation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study show that married couples feel happy shown by having an attitude of gratitude and sincerity for all that is owned or through it from young to old age. The two pairs of subjects believed that in carrying out human life, God's protection was needed and there was God's intervention so that the desire to draw closer to God was stronger in the two pairs of subjects. The factors that influence the happiness of a married couple are (a) the purpose of marriage (b) commitment (c) communication (d) romanticism (e) utilization of time together with spouse (f) religion.

Abstract

Abstract. Students are the person that devepelopment to preparing themselves for accept the responsibility as fully adult person. In  college period, students are free with their study time system. The part time worker usually has a problem with their time management. That can be affect with their academic in college. Their usually didn’t have so much time to doing their task in college. The procrastination can happen by the part time worker because of so many activity. This reseacrh used quantitative method and data are collected by using likert scale to 100 students who part time worker in “X” University. The analytical data showed that the significantcy number is 0,000 (p<0,005). Data showed the mayor hypothesis are approved that means sifnificant correlation between self regulation and adversity quotient with academic procrastination. Self regulation and adversity quotient affect 30,4% and 69,6% affect with other variable.Keyword: time worker, students, academic procrastination, self regulation, adversity quotient

Abstract

Abstact. Yogyakarta gets an emergency label by the media. Initially klitih has a positive meaning but there is a shift in meaning to negative. This klitih action caused social upheaval because this action claimed lives. Individual behavior is determined by self-concept that is dynamic and moves according to the factors that influence it. Therefore, this study discusses the self-concept of young perpetrators of klitih in the in Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Wonosari Yogyakarta and the factors that influence it. This research uses a qualitative method with a symbolic interaction approach. The subjects in this study were three teenagers who had done clits and is in LPKA Wonosari Yogyakarta, with sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that all three subjects had positive self-concepts after being in LPKA. Factors that influence self-concept are the roles of parents, peers, community and learning outcomes.Keywords: Self-concept, adolescent, klitihAbstrak. Yogyakarta mendapatkan label darurat klitih oleh media masa. Awalnya klitih memiliki makna positif namun terjadi pergeseran makna menjadi negatif. Aksi klitih ini menimbulkan kegaduhan sosial dikarenakan aksi ini memakan korban nyawa. Perilaku individu ditentukan oleh konsep diri yang bersifat dinamis dan bergerak sesuai dengan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini membahas tentang konsep diri remaja pelaku klitih di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Wonosari Yogyakarta dan faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Peneltian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan interaksi simbolik. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang berusia remaja yang pernah melakukan klitih dan berada di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Wonosari Yogyakarta, dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa ketiga subjek memiliki konsep diri yang psoitif setelah berada di LPKA. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi konsep diri adalah peran orang tua, teman sebaya, masyarakat dan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Konsep diri, remaja, klitih
