Abstract

This study was aimed to of determine there is or not effect of CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition) learning method with media Microsoft powerpoint toward student achievement of class X SMA Negeri 2 Tambusai learning year 2014/2015. This was a quasi-experiment study with Non Randomized Control Group Pretest Posttest Design. Samples were collected with non random sampling method. The samples are the student at grade XA as experiment and grade XB as control. Data collecting technique in this study was a test instrument with multiple choice questions form. Hypothesis of results showed that the tcount > ttable (4,02 > 2,01). In conclution that the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated And Reading Composition) learning method with media Microsoft Powerpoint give effect toward student achievement of class X SMA Negeri 2 Tambusai learning year 2014/2015.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning type of Think Pair Share toward biological student’s learning result on the human digestive system at grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Kepenuhan hulu for academic years on 2014/2015. The method was quasi experiment with Control Group Pretes-Posttest Design type. The sample was taken by using Purposive sampling. The sample was students as experiment class at grade VIIIA and students as a control class at grade VIII B. The instrument of the study was the test. The data analysis used t-test, and obtained ttest = 3,74 of significant 0,05 that ttable = 2,03 , so it can be concluded that by t-test> t-table means that alternative hypothesis was accepted

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the principals leadership to junior high science teacher performance equal subdistrict kepenuhan Hulu. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive. The method used was a questionnaire. Date analysis is done by means of date presentation and conclusion. Results of the questionnaire data analysis of school leadership and teacher performance science that is, with the average value of principal leadership of 75,08% with a high information and performance science teacher with an average of 76,97% with a high information. Keywords: Descriptive, Leadership Principal, Science Teacher Performance.

Abstract

Purpose of this study as to determine the species of plants used as traditional medicine, parts used and the efficacy of the plants by district community Rambah Samo. This study was conducted from November 2014 until January 2015. This study is qualitative with interview and survey technique. The result found 21 family from 38 species of plants are used as traditional medicine. Parts used in the form of leaves, rhizomes, roots, whole plant, stem, fruit and sap. How to use is by boiling, drops and engulfed. The most commonly treated diseases are blood sugar disease and cough.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine the genera of ants on palm oil plantations around Pasir Pengaraian University. This study was conducted from October to December 2014 by using survey method with random sampling technique. The sample was collected by pit fall trap and bait trap. The samples were collected with a 2 x 2 meter square plots on palm oil tree at campus gate, around campus and behind the campus. Results showed the ants with 4 subfamily and 10 genera. They were Dolicoderus, Anoplolepis, Camponotus, Oecopylla, Paratrechina, Polyrhachis Lophomyrmex, Solenopsis, Odontomachus dan Odontoponera

Abstract

This study about species of selais fish (Pisces: Siluridae) in Kumu river Rokan Hulu Regency Riau Province which has been carried out from July to September 2014. The study was conducted by survey method mean while samples were collected by stratified sampling method. Samples were caught later identified and analyzed by describing the fish until species that were obtained from catching by usinggill nets, fish netand fishing with three repetitions on the upperstream, middlestream and downstream. Results showed 114 individual of selais fish were found with five species, namely Ompok eugeneiatus, O. hypophthalmus, Kryptopterus schilbeides, K.mononema, K.limpok

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the discipline of integrated science teacherperformance MTs Thamrin Yahya districts Rambah Hilir. This type of research is descriptive.Population in this research is the principal, teachers and students integrated IPA. The samplingtechnique used for principals and teachers is total sampling technique. While the samplingtechnique to students is purposive sampling sampling with particular consideration The sample inthis research is the principal, integrated science teacher and eight students. The instrument usedwas a questionnaire that includes performance indicators disciplinary integrated science teacherJohn MTs Thamrin Rambah Hilir districts. The results showed that the average value of thepercentage of indicators disciplinary integrated science teacher performance MTs Thamrin YahyaRambah Hilir districts is 89,66%. It can be concluded that the criteria for disciplinary integratedscience teacher performance MTs Thamrin Yahya districts Rambah Hilir well.Keywords: Analysis , Discipline , Teacher Performance .

Abstract

Study on diversity frog (Amphibians: Anura) in Desa Kepenuhan Hulu Kecamatan Kepenuhan Hulu Kabupaten Rokan Hulu, Riau has been conducted from November to Desember 2015 by using visual encounter survay (capture directly to the survey) by the sampling technique samples by random sampling. Samples were collected with two repetitions at each station. The results, is  four family, six genera and ten species are Rana erythraea, R. baramica, R. nicobariensis, R. hosii, Fejervarya limnocharis, F. cancrivora, Limnonectes paramacrodon, Leptobrachium hasseltii, Rhacophorus javanus and Kaloula baleata

Abstract

This research aims to know whether or not the effect of discovery learning model with picture media  of the cognitive class VII MTs Bahrul Ulum. Type of research is a quasi experimental design with randomized control group pre test post test design. The population in this research were all students of class VII. The research sample class VII-A as the experimental class and the class VII-B as the control class. Data collection techniques in this research is a test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions. Data analysis techniques for hypothesis testing using t test. The results showed the average value of learning outcomes is the experimental class 79,14 and control class 72,57. Based on the hypothesis testing results, obtained t = 2,38, while ttable to significant level of 5% with n = 27 obtained table = 1,70. With the result that obtained tcount> ttable it can be concluded that there are significant discovery model of learning with picture media of the cognitive class VII MTs Bahrul Ulum.
