The purpose of this research is to analyze the studentsâ skill in using conjunction in recount text. Thisresearch was descriptive qualitative research and used test as instrument in collect the data. The result of thisresearch showed that the studentâ skill in using coordinating conjunction was 60,6% or in fair category and studentsskill in using subordinating conjunction was 65,6 or in fair category. The result of this research was 60,4 it can beconclude that the studentsâ skill was in fair category

This research was conducted to improve studentsâ speaking skill at eighth grade students of SMPN 6 Rambahthrough role play strategy used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is conducted to solve thestudentsâ problem in English Speaking. The researcher did two cycles, which each cycle consists of planning, acting,observing, and reflecting. The qualitative data were gained by analyzing the field note and observation result andthe quantitative data were obtained from the studentsâ speaking score. The finding of this research indicated that theimplementation of role play strategy was successful since there is an improvement in students speaking skill. Thefinding showed an improvement in students speaking skill from the average of speaking test in cycle I was (56, 25)to (68, 62) the average of speaking skill in cycle II.

This research was conducted in order to improve studentsâ writing skill in recount text at eighth grade of SMP Tiga Hati Kepenuhan Hulu by using personal letter used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted to solve the studentsâ problem in English Writing. The reseacher did two cycles in which each cycle consisted of plan, action, observation, and reflection. The qualitative data was gained by analyzing the fieldnote, observation sheet and interview, then quantitative data were obtained from the studentsâ writing score. The finding of this research indicated that the implementation of personal letter media was succesful since there was an improvement in studentsâ writing skill in recount text. The finding showed an improvement in studentsâ writing skill in recount text from the average of writing test recount text in cycle 1 was (60,85) to (73,50) the average of writing skill in cycle 2

Learn vocabulary is essential to support mastery of English skills. The factors that become the obstaclesare limited number of words mastered. This research is aimed to know whether Total Physical Response (TPR)can improve studentsâ vocabulary mastery and to know the factor influence the change in the process ofstudentsâ vocabulary mastery by using TPR. The researcher conducted a classroom action research (CAR). Thedata of research were collected by using qualitative and quantitative data. There was significant improvementfrom every cycle. Cycle I: Pronunciation 60.42 (Average), spelling 66.33 (Average), meaning 66.42 (Average),grammar 66.08 (Average). Cycle II: Pronunciation 82.92 (good), spelling 82.58 (good), meaning 81.00 (good),grammar 80.00 (good)

The purpose of this research was to see whether there is a correlation between past tensemastery and studentsâ translating narrative text at grade eleventh of SMA N 3 Rambah Hilir. Thisresearch was quantitatif research in which aid to describe about an objective situation. This researchhad two variables, Variable X ( past tense mastery) and variable Y ( translating narrative text skill).Based on the analyzed of the data it can be concluded there was a low correlation between past tensemastery and studentsâ translating narrative text skill at grade Eleventh of SMA N 3 Rambah Hilir. Thecorrelation of ârxyâ product moment was 0,137.

This research purposes to find the studentsâ writing skill at ninth grade students of SMPN 1 Rambah Hilir. This research was descriptive qualitative. The numbers of population were 92 students. It was consists of 4 class, each class was 23 students. To select the sample the researcher used clustering random sampling technique. The researcher took one class as be sample, it was class IX A that consists of 23 students. The data of this research was studentsâ score in writing procedure text. The data was collected by using written test. After that, the researcher analyze the data was helped by 3 raters. The findings of the research show that the studentsâ writing skill in procedure text, was scores 78,82. It means that the studentsâ skill in procedure text was in good category.

This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) to improved studentsâ vocabulary mastery at sixth grade students of SD Negeri 007 Bangun Purba. There were 32 students, they were 16 males and 16 females. In this research used two cycles. In this research, the researcher would like improved studentsâ vocabulary used scrabble. According to the research could be knows that the studentsâ average score improved from first cycle to the second cycle. According to the last test knows that the average score in the first cycle was 64.63. While, in the second cycle become 77.34. This Research was classroom action research (CAR), this research was conducted in two cycles that consisted of four meeting in a cycle. This research was conducted to overcome the existing problem on the field as well as to described and also explain whether the pictures media could improve the studentsâ vocabulary mastery. The result of this research in pre-test 56.80%, cycle 1 71.80% and cycle 2 80.47%. The result of this research indicated that the pictures media could improve the studentsâ vocabulary mastery, then found the factors that improved: (1) The selection of appropriated pictures media. The purpose of this research was aimed at finding out the correlation between studentsâ vocabulary mastery and speaking skill as well as also the studentsâ mastering in vocabulary mastery and studentsâ skill in speaking at the fifth semester students of english study program in University of Pasir Pengaraian. After analyzing and calculating the data, it was found that r calculated was 0,559 with level significance 0.05, and the degree of freedom (df= n-2) was 22. It means that r- counted was higher than r-table (0.559 > 0.404). So, there is cirrelation between two variables above. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted, that said âThere is correlation between studentsâ vocabulary mastery and speaking skill at the fifth semester of English study program in University of Pasir Pengaraianâ.
