Abstract

Abstract: Emotional Intelligence, Age, First Semester Students Of Div Midwifery Programme. The aim of this research was to know the descriptive of the type and the level of perineum laceration on post partum mother at Klaten. This research was descriptive design. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The respondents were 48 students who are the first semester students of DIV Mdwifery Programme at Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta. The results of this study indicate p = 0359, where p>0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between emotional intelligence and age on the students DIV DIV Midwifery Programme at Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstract : Quality Evaluation, Ointments, Kaemferia Galanga, Curcuma Domestica, Curcuma Heynena. Indonesia is a country with very high biodiversity. In the high diversity of the stored potential nutritious plants that can be explored and exploited further. Community began to realize the use of chemicals to cope with life problems, especially health problems, in addition to expensive, can also result in less side effects both for humans. This study used a extract Curcuma domestica, Kaemferia galanga, and Curcuma heynena as active ingredients skin ointments. This study intends to determine the third quality evaluation ointment. This type of research was descriptive. Quality evaluation results showed nearly the same physical properties, except for the parameters of the spread, and viscosity. Test result of physical standart compliant was organoleptic, pH, power spread and viscosity.

Abstract

Abstract: The use of herbs, for health. Herbs are plants that can be used as drugs both leaves, stems, or roots. Herbs is partly used by the community for traditional or alternative medicine. Besides, the herb also has the advantage, that does not have side effects, treatment can be carried out by family members sendiri.Tanaman is an alternative herbal treatment that has been done by the people of Indonesia have traditionally. The successful use of herbal plants is strongly influenced by people's knowledge about the benefits of each type of medicinal plants, especially herbs that have been studied empirically. It is also influenced by how the use of each herb for a variety of different diseases. This study aims to determine the use of herbs for health. This research method is descriptive, with a sample of 53 respondents drawn by simple random sampling technique. The data collection conducted direct interviews with respondents and the open-air observation. Research instrument used was a questionnaire. The result showed that all respondents had been using herbs for health. The conclusion of this study was the use of herbs for health still needs to be improved further by providing the knowledge, awareness, willingness and ability of thecommunity.

Abstract

Abstract: The Knowledge Society, Tamarind, Cough. Cough is one of the body's defense mechanisms, especially respiratory should be managed properly. Coughmechanism depends on five components: cough receptors, afferent nerve center, cough, nerve efferent, and effector. Based on preliminary studies conducted by the authors obtained the data that the knowledge society is very diverse Bakung village. The purpose of this study to determine the knowledge society Bakung village, Jogonalan, Klaten of tamarind to cough. This research is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The sampling technique using a quota sampling with 30 respondents. Data collection instruments used were questionnaires knowledge of tamarind. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis. Results of analysis of the data showed that respondents who have a good knowledge of a number of 27 respondents (90%), while respondents who have sufficient knowledge of three respondents (10%). The conclusion of this study that people's knowledge of tamarind to cough, with both categories (90%), and knowledge of the category enough (10%).

Abstract

Abstract: Java Culture, Mrs. Post Partum. The purpose of this study is to describe the culture of Java on postpartum mothers in the village Candirejo Ngawen District of Klaten district. This research is descriptive quantitative research subjects across the capital after the postpartum period ending at 24 samples. Technical analysis of the data used is descriptive test. The results showed that 16.66% of mothers after the postpartum period wear pilis 0-40 days, 25% use them less than 40 days, 37.5% were taking parem in the hands and feet for 40 days, 75% drink herbal rice kencur, 87, 5% herbal drink wejahan, 37.5% herbal drink papaya leaves, 8.33% herbal drink turmeric tamarind, ginger herbal drink 4,16%, 37.5% herbal drink uyup-uyup, 37.5% do masage, 58, 33% do walik bye at the time selapanan, 37.5% were taking octopus knot, wearing a corset 8.33%, 50% wear stagen 4 meters long, 41.66% were taking stagen along 10 meters, 50% do kempitan less than 40 day, 95.83% did sit senden less than 40 days, 66.66% abstain from eating spicy, 33.33% abstaining stimulating, 4.16% abstain from drinking a lot, 12.5% abstinence drinking ice, 8.33% abstain from eating sugary foods, 87.5% sat straight legs, a 100% sat feet together, parallel, not hanging and 75% sat with his feet propped up a small chair.

Abstract

Abstract: Oxytocin Massage, Breastfeedingadequacy. Factors that can increase breast milk production include frequency of breastfeeding, nutrition, rest and sleep patterns, psychological, and breastfeeding and breast care techniques. Breast care is useful in stimulating the breast, which affects the pituitary to release the hormone prolactin and oxytocin. This oxytocin massage is done to stimulate the reflex oxytocin or reflex let down. The goals of thisreasearchisto know the relationship of oxytocin massage to breast milk sufficiency in the Working Area of Karangdowo Public Health Center. This research is quantitative research by using preexperimental research design with Post test type only with control design. The population of this research was all postpartum day 1-3 in Working Area of Public Health Center Karangdowo from May until June 2017. Technique sampling used accidental sampling and technique of data analysis used Chi Square. Results of this reasearch are characteristics of mothers covering the age of 20-35 years, education, namely junior high and high school, the work of housewives and parity is multiparous. There is a relationship between breastfeeding adhequacy to postpartum mother who given oxytocin massage and which is not givenoxytocin massage in Working Area of Karangdowo Klaten Public Health Center with.

Abstract

Abstract: Behavior, Young Women, Traditional Beauty Care. This study aims to reveal the behavior of a student in a traditional beauty treatments. This study used a qualitative design with sampling technique is purposive sampling and the type of maximum variation sampling. Collecting data using Focus Group Discussion and Interview depth. This study uses 6 informant DKT and 2 informants WM. Test the validity of the data was done by using triangulation. The results showed that most informants understand the sense of beauty treatments and traditional, benefits and problems on the part of the body, the informant also shows a good attitude to the traditional beauty treatments, and the attitude of informants in beauty treatments traditionally reaches levels responsible attitude. Activity informant in beauty treatments has traditionally been reached on the level of activity adoption.

Abstract

Abstract: Sarikurma, Pregnancy, Anemia, Hemoglobin. Dates also have many benefits including increasing the number of platelets, preventing blood clots, prevent strokes and heart attacks, prevent uterine bleeding, thin brain during fasting, increase energy, hindering the process of aging, prevent constipation and smooth bowel movement, reduce blood cholesterol, keeping eye health and good for the nervous system. Aim. To determine the effectiveness of the addition of palm juice against anemia in pregnant women at health centers Wedi Klaten district. This type of research is experimental, quasi-experimental approach, using a pretest-posttest control group design. population (N) = 303 people, found the number of samples (S) as many as 50 people. Of the 50 people, will be dividedinto two equal groups, 25 people will be used as the treatment group (giving palm juice) and 25 will be used as the control group (without a date palm juice). In the group without extract dates, respondents consumed MMN. Data were analyzed using t-test. Results.Anemia hemoglobin levels of pregnant women who were given MMN average was 10.4 mmHg. Hemoglobin levels of pregnant women are anemic before given Sarikurma average of 10.38 and after Sarikurma by an average of 10.84. Conclusion. Sarikurma more effective compared to MMN with p = 0.045 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Abstract: Class Pregnant Women; Levels Of Anxiety. Anxiety is one of the main factors that influence whether or not an action smoothness of delivery. Pregnant women with sufficient knowledge proved to have a low risk of the occurrence of complications of childbirth. Educational intervention in the form of counseling mothers on maternal class. Purpose is to knowing the differences in levels of maternal anxiety on the class of pregnant woman in the Puskesmas Tulung. Type of quasi-experimental research design with a static group comparison. The population is pregnant women PHC Tulung region. Samples are 36 pregnant women who meet the criteria cadre, which consisted of 18 pregnant women who attend classes pregnant women and 18 pregnant women who donot attend classes pregnant women with purposive sampling technique. Respondents who attend classes maternal anxiety has a value of at least 6, the maximum value of 20 with an average of 15.4 and the majority of respondents (61.1%) had anxiety medium category. Those who do not attend classes anxiety mother has a value of at least 14, the maximum value of 27, with an average of 20.67 and a majority of respondents have anxiety was (88.9%). There are differences in the level of maternal anxiety that follows and that pregnant women do not attend classes in the Puskesmas Tulung, with significant differences in anxiety score (p value = 0.000).
