Abstract

Abstract: Jamu Instant Powder, Dragon Fruit Super Red, Stevia, Physical Test, Antioxidant, Hedonic. Dragon fruit super red has antioxidant activity, so dragon fruit super red formulated in jamu instant powder dosage form because can be useful to society without brewing before with natural sweetener stevia leaf. The aim of this research to know formulation jamu instant powder dosage form antioxidant dragon fruit super red with natural sweetener stevia leaf and hedonic test and test of antioxidant activity. This study was a descriptive study and laboratory design. The evaluation included physical test is water content, flowability time, an angel of repose, uniformity of weight, organoleptic dan pH; antioxidant activity with IC50 parameters, hedonic measurement with hedonic scale. The result showed physical test jamu instant powder included water content 1,85%; flowability time 35,97 second; an angel of repose 37,34°, uniformity of weight 1,01775 gram, organoleptic is purplish red of color, unpleasant odor, soft of texture dan sweet of taste; and result of pH 4,47. The result measurement antioxidant activity had coverage categories antioxidant activity with IC50 at 132,125 ppm. Hedonic test results of colour indicators 63,3% of respondents are very like, from the colour indicators 46,7% of the respondents does not like, from the taste indicators 46,7% of the respondent are like, while texture indicators 50% are like.

Abstract

Abstract : Quality Evaluation, Ointments, Kaemferia Galanga, Curcuma Domestica, Curcuma Heynena. Indonesia is a country with very high biodiversity. In the high diversity of the stored potential nutritious plants that can be explored and exploited further. Community began to realize the use of chemicals to cope with life problems, especially health problems, in addition to expensive, can also result in less side effects both for humans. This study used a extract Curcuma domestica, Kaemferia galanga, and Curcuma heynena as active ingredients skin ointments. This study intends to determine the third quality evaluation ointment. This type of research was descriptive. Quality evaluation results showed nearly the same physical properties, except for the parameters of the spread, and viscosity. Test result of physical standart compliant was organoleptic, pH, power spread and viscosity.

Abstract

Abstract: Antibacterial Activity, Skin ointment, Turmeric, Kaemferia galanga L, Curcuma heyneana. Indonesia is a country with a very high biodiversity. In the high diversity are stored potent plant potentials that can be extracted and utilized further. People are starting to realize the use of chemicals to solve life problems, especially health problems, in addition to expensive, can also cause adverse side effects for humans. Human life is always surrounded by microbes, either pathogenic or nonpathogenic. Many plants that have properties as antibacterial, such as turmeric, Kaemferia galanga L. and Curcuma heyneana. This research use turmeric, Kaemferia galanga L. And Curcuma heyneana extract, as active ingredient of skin ointment. This study aimed to know the extent to which the antibacterial activity of these three ointments against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This type of research was quasi experimental, with the design of Static Group Comparasion. Activity test with wells method with diameter 6,5 mm showed that the mean of clear zone were Kaemferia galanga L. (14,52 mm), turmeric (13,26 mm), Curcuma heyneana (7,89 mm), and control (6.49 mm)

Abstract

Abstrack : Physical Characteristic, Qualitative Terpenoid Experiment, Lotion, Lime Leaves. Lime leaves (Citrus hystrix DC.) contain active tannin compounds, steroid, terpenoid, and volatile oil which be formulated into repellent lotion. The aim of this research was to find out the physical testdosage form extract lotion of lime leaves covering organoleptic, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, dispersive power and adhesion, and also qualitative testing to find out the compounds content of terpenoid dosage form extract lotion of lime leaves. Methodology of this research used descriptive observational study by observes then describe about physical characteristic. The result of qualitative test terpenoid compound form extract lotion of lime leaves presented in narration and table. The result of this research was organoleptic experiment that showed if dosage form extract lotion of lime leaves have viscous and semi-solid, green color, fragrant smell typical of lime leaves. Homogeneity form was less homogeneous because there is still a little green particle. pHdosage form got the result for 6,27. Viscosity dosage form got the result for 4500 cp (centipoise). Dispersive power dosage form got the result for 6,6 cm. Adhesion got the result for 1,28 second and the result of qualitative experiment showed positive result and contains terpenoid with sorrel color. The conclusion from this research was the result from physical experiment dosage form extract lotion of lime leaves got appropriate with standard except homogeneity experiment and qualitative experiment of terpenoid compounds got the positive result contains terpenoid.

Abstract

Absctract: Citrus hystrix, Biolarvicides. Insectisides and pestisides were used as larvicides to control mosquito vector Aedes aegypti particularly. Some research suggested there had been a larvae resistance to pesticides. Biolarvicides with basic ingredients plant was another alternative that can be used. Lime (Citrus hystrix) was one of plants that often used as biolarvicides, both lits fruit and leaves. This paper aimed to know about chemical compound in lime and its potential as biolarvicidal. Research methods was literature review from several research journals. The results showed that the presence of coumpounds were essential oil, flavonoids, saponins, terpeesn, limonoids, citronellal, linalool, citronellol, acetate citronelil, kariofilin and geraniol. LC50 of lime leaves as biolarvicides againts the third instar larvae of Aedes aegypti was 279.882 ppm, biolarvicides oxicity values (LC90) was 4000 ppm with the lethal time (LT90) was 12.67 hours. Based on results of this study concluded that the presence of the chemical content of Citrus hystrix plant potential as biolarvicides.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Studi pendahuluan tentang ramuantradisional untuk perawatan kulit wajah yang dilakukan oleh peneliti di JurusanKebidanan Semester IV Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta, dari 10 mahasiswadidapatkan sebanyak 7 (70%) mahasiswa masih menggunakan kosmetik bahankimia dan 3 (30%) mahasiswa sudah mulai menggunakan bahan tradisionaluntuk perawatan kulit wajah, maka dibutuhkan adanya leaflet untuk mengenalkankepada mahasiswa supaya mengetahui dan mengaplikasikan cara perawatan kulitwajah dengan ramuan tradisional. Jenis penelitian adalah pre eksperiment. Desain penelitianone group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalahmahasiswa Jurusan Kebidanan Semester IV Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakartasejumlah 112 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposivesampling sejumlah 34 responden. Alat pengumpulan data berupa lembarkuesioner tentang ramuan tradisional untuk kesehatan kulit wajah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian leaflet tentang ramuan tradisional kesehatan kulitwajah dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa Jurusan Kebidanan SemesterIV Poltekkes Kemenkes Surakarta, dengan adanya perbedaan rata-rata nilai sebelum dan sesudah diberi leaflet. Rata-rata nilai pretest mahasiswasebelum diberikan leaflet 68,50 dan rata-rata nilai posttest sesudah diberi leaflet80,50. Abstract

Buah naga super merah memiliki kandungan betasianin yang bermanfaat sebagai antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji hedonik sediaan instan buah naga super merah (Hylocereus costaricensis) dengan pemanis alami daun stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni M). Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden yaitu mahasiswa semester 2 Jurusan Jamu Poltekkes Surakarta sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik sampel yang digunakan purposive sampling dengan kategori tidak terlatih. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah menggunakan angket uji hedonik. Hasil uji hedonik dari indikator warna sebanyak 63,4% responden sangat suka, indikator aroma sebanyak 46,7% responden tidak suka, indikator rasa sebanyak 46,7% menyatakan suka sedangkan dari indikator tekstur 50% responden suka. Penambahan maltodekstrin dengan pemanasan 1400C dalam pembuatan sediaan instan menyebabkan warna instan menjadi merah muda, membuat rasa instan sedikit hambar, dan membuat tekstur instan menjadi serbuk halus sedangkan dengan penambahan ekstrak buah naga super merah terlalu banyak menyebabkan aroma langu pada instan.

Abstract

Sambirejo Village is one of the stunting locus areas. Based on 2022 data, there are 23 children under two years old who are stunted out of a total of 192 people, and 50 children under five years old who are stunted out of a total of 494 toddlers. One of the causes of stunting is based on maternal anemia and CED (Chronic Energy Deficiency). In 2022, data was obtained from 83 pregnant women, there were 43 people experiencing anemia and 15 people with KEK. The incidence of anemia in adolescent girls was 45 and KEK was 58 out of a total of 361 adolescent girls. If this condition is not prevented, the incidence of anemia, CED and stunting will continue to increase from year to year. Alternative food to increase iron and prevent CED to prevent stunting is to use food ingredients taken from local wisdom in the form of processed food using three basic triad ingredients (moringa leaves, catfish and tiwul/cassava) in the form of: cilok catfish, moringa ice cream and chips / cassava-catfish sticks which have nutritional and economic value. Through this training, 100 target participants were given health material and demonstrations on making highly nutritious food preparations. The results of this activity prove that there is an increase in knowledge about anemia, CED, stunting and skills in making processed food that has nutritional value and marketability.
