Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan wacana berita dan komentar pembaca pada media daring Kompas.com dengan studi kasus berita debat cagub DKI Jakarta 2017 putaran pertama. Sumber data penelitian ini diperoleh dari wacana berita debat cagub DKI Jakarta pada media daring Kompas.com dan 120 komentar pembaca yang menyertai kesembilan wacana berita tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik agih. Pada wacana beritanya dilakukan analisis struktur wacana ideal yang terdiri atas bagian awal (abstrak), isi (orientasi) dan akhir (koda) dan analisis kohesi dan koherensi. Pada wacana komentar pembaca dilakukan analisis kohesi dan koherensi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diidentifikasi dari dua hal. Pertama, berdasarkan struktur wacana ideal, wacana berita debat cagub DKI Jakarta 2017 putaran pertama mencakup bagian awal (abstrak), isi (orientasi) dan akhir (koda). Kedua, dilihat dari keutuhan wacana, wacana berita dan komentar pembaca pada media daring Kompas.com memiliki hubungan kohesi dan koherensi.

Abstract

The problems of the research were: 1. What types of grammatical errors were found in the SL into TL Translation made by fifth semester students of English  department of Tridinanti University of Palembang? 2.What were the frequency and  the percentage of each types of grammatical error in translated texts made by the students? The aims of the study were to describe the errors that were found in  the SL into TL Translation writing made by the students of Tridinanti University Palembang, to describe the frequency and the percentage of each type of grammatical errors in translated texts made by the students. In this research the writer used qualitative approach with the documentation technique used to collect the data, and analyze the data used of content analysis. The result of the research based on the surface category taxonomy, the student‘s errors could be classified into: 1) omission, (2) addition, (3) misformation, and (4) misordering errors. 2) Reveal with the frequency and the percentage of each types of grammatical error in translated texts made by the students, the writer found that 0.95 % errors in omission, 0.8 % errors in additions, 0.8 % errors in missformation), 0.75 errors in misordering.Keywords: Errors, translation, SL into TL.

Abstract

This study aims to describe intrinsicic elements, social culture life from particular community and world view author in novel Air Mata Terakhir Bunda by Kirana Kejora. The method is descriptic analysis. It is used to describe facts and then analyze data. The source of data is best seller novel entitled Air Mata Terakhir Bunda karya Kirana Kejora, seventh printed at 2013 and was filmed in 2013, it is adaptable from fact stories, 202 pages and published by HI-fest Publishing Jakarta Timur. Based on results and discussion, it could be concluded that Air Mata Terakhir Bunda consists of supported factor that is intrinsic element and additional factor which is figure and strong character, mixed plot, background in Sidoarjo and Jakarta year 2006-2011, point of view, figure of speech Indonesian mix Javanese. Then, it is also derived from social culture author from facebook community which has several famous writer and art workers. The social life improvement from the author become better, and also it happened in story Air Mata Terakhir Bunda. The writer point of view is social humanism which has humanism social and transedental humanism. It was inspired from Lumpur Lapindo tragedy in Sidorjo. The values which could be found in Air Mata terakhir Bunda were education,social and religous values.Keywords : structuralism, genetic analysis and humanism.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The problem of this study was: ”Is it effective to teach vocabulary by using STT to the seventh grade students of Karya Ibu Junior High School of Palembang?”.Therefore the objective of this study was to find out whether or not it was effective to teach vocabulary to the seventh grade students of Karya Ibu Junior High School of Palembang by using STT. The population of the study was all the seventh grade students of Karya Ibu Junior High School of Palembang in academic year of 2015/2016 with total member of 230. Its sample was taken from class VII. 5 which consisted of 37 students. The method was pre experimental design. In collecting the data, the researcher gave written test in the form 40 multiple choices, and in analyzing the data used match t-test. It was found that teaching English vocabulary by using snowball throwing was effective. It could be seen from the means difference between the result of the pre-test and the result of the post-test. The average of the students’ score in the pre-test was 7.5 and the average of the students’ score in the post-test was 9.25. There was a significantly different score between the result of the t-obtained and t-table. In this study, the result of the t-obtained was 2.154 and t-table was 1.697. It could be concluded that it was effective to teach English vocabulary by using STT to the seventh grade students of Karya Ibu Junior High School of Palembang.Key words: teaching, vocabulary, STT

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemerolehan bahasa pada anak usia 3—4 tahun. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 3 anak yang terbagi atas 1 anak laki-laki dan 2 anak perempuan.  Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah tataran bahasa mulai dari fonem sampai kalimat. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara dokumentasi. Data hasil dokumentasi dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut peneliti memperoleh hasil bahwa dalam dalam pemerolehan bahasa: (1) tidak semua anak dengan usia yang relatif lebih tua bahasanya akan lebih baik dibandingkan anak yang usianya lebih muda; (2) keterlambatan dan  kelancaran pemerolehan bahasa pada anak dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Kata-kata kunci: pemerolehan bahasa, anak
