Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of integrated thematic learning at SDN 112/1 Muara Bulian. A qualitative approach was used by interviewing eight teachers and observing classroom learning activities. The research results show that the main obstacles in implementing integrated thematic learning include teachers' limited understanding of the principles of Learning Implementation Plans, lack of support and understanding from the school, and the need to increase teachers' abilities in designing learning that suits the characteristics of students. However, this research also found several positive initiatives undertaken by teachers to overcome these challenges, such as training and collaboration between teachers. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on the implementation of integrated thematic learning in elementary schools, especially at SDN 112/1 Muara Bulian, while its implications highlight the need for greater support and more in-depth training for teachers to increase the effectiveness of integrated thematic learning. Therefore, the findings of this research provide an important contribution to the development of teacher professionalism and the development of more effective strategies in improving the quality of learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of the singing method in learning in class II of SD Negeri 35/I Tebing Tinggi with a focus on the teacher's efforts in creating a pleasant learning atmosphere and increasing student involvement. Qualitative research methods are carried out through observation, interviews and data analysis of learning using the singing method. The research results show that lesson planning is key in implementing this method, with teachers choosing songs that suit the characteristics of students and learning material, as well as changing song lyrics to suit the content of the material. In addition, the introduction of songs and the addition of simple movements become an integral part of the learning process. It was found that students showed a positive response to the singing method, became more active, enthusiastic, and did not feel pressured in learning. The novelty of this research lies in a creative approach to learning that attracts students' attention, increases their participation, and encourages better understanding of the material. The practical implication is that teachers need to pay attention to careful learning planning to implement the singing method effectively, thereby creating a positive learning environment and strengthening student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the efforts made by teachers in developing students' interests and talents at school, using a qualitative approach and case studies. Through observations, interviews and document analysis, data was collected from teachers and students involved in the interest and talent development program. The results of the analysis show that there are four main efforts made by teachers, namely creating supportive conditions, developing interest in achievement, increasing student persistence, and implementing differentiated education. Teachers play an active role in motivating, guiding and involving students in various competitions to actualize their interests and talents. These findings provide a new contribution to the understanding of strategies for developing students' interests and talents in the educational environment. The implication of this research is the need for greater support from schools and parents in creating a conducive environment for the development of students' interests and talents. Apart from that, it is also necessary to pay attention to the importance of implementing differentiated education to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Thus, this research provides a more comprehensive view of how teachers can play an effective role in developing students' potential in schools.

Abstract

In the 21st century era of globalization, free competition and rapid change demand quality human resources (HR) with high adaptability. The quality education process is crucial, and the role of teachers is very important in implementing learning. The Jambi Provincial Health Analyst Academy, as the only Diploma III Health Analyst institution there, is under the auspices of the Jambi Provincial Health Service. Adapting to educational reform and developments in science and technology, the Jambi Province Academy of Health Analysts plays a role in developing educational science in the field of science and technology. The Health Analyst Diploma III Program at the Jambi Province Health Analyst Academy aims to produce health analysts who are able to work as technical implementers of laboratory services. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a model adapted from Borg and Gall (1989). Validation was carried out by media and material experts, with excellent final results. Material validation results reached 93%, while trials on students also received satisfactory results, reaching 93% and included in the Very Eligible category. Thus, efforts to develop education in Jambi Province have a positive impact in creating quality human resources who are ready to compete in this era of globalization.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe implementation authentic assessment on the theme of my daily assignments which have been carried out in class II elementary school 77/1 Penerokan. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, namely the subjects were one principal and one homeroom teacher of class II elementary school 77/ 1 Penerokan. To collect data, observations, interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques using three flows, namely, reduction data, display data and draw conclusions.The results showed that at elementary school 77/1 Penerokan there were applying authentic assessment in learning on the themes of my daily assignments. The teacher has carried out appropriate assessment steps, among others determine standards, determine assessment techniques, determine criteria, determine rubrics, carry out assessments and provide scores or grades. The teacher carries out authentic assessment techniques on the themes of my daily assignments between others on attitude assessment using observation techniques; on assessment knowledge of using written test techniques, oral tests, assignments; and on skills assessment using performance assessment, product assessment and portfolio assessment. Teachers experience obstacles in implementing assessments authenticity, including time constraints and student constraints.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the increase in student learning discipline in science learning through the habituation method in the VA class of elementary school 34/I Teratai. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects and location of the research were students in the VA class of elementary school 34/I Teratai with a total of 21 students. In accordance with the achievement of the objectives of this research, it was carried out in 3 cycles. The data in the research was obtained from observations, documentation and tests. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of this research show that in cycle I there were 10 students who completed with a percentage of 47.62%, those who did not complete were 11 students with a percentage of 52.38%, in cycle II there were 14 students who completed with a percentage of 66.67%, and those who did not complete were 7 students with a percentage of 33.33 %. In cycle III, 17 students completed it with a percentage of 80.95%, 4 students did not complete it with a percentage of 19.05%. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that there was an increase in student learning discipline activities, which in cycle I achieved completeness by 47.62%, in cycle II achieved completeness by 66.67% and in cycle III achieved completeness by 80.95%.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a creative gymnastics learning model for basic locomotor movements for elementary school children. This research uses the Research & Development (R&D) research method from Borg and Gall in Sugiyono. Small group testing of 10 students at the Negeri 40/XI Talang Duku Elementary School, Muaro Jambi Regency, model items, in large group testing 18 students with 28 model items. Test the effectiveness of 10 students using a locomotor test with the one group pretest posttest design by obtaining effectiveness test scores with an average pre-test result of 34.30 and an average post-test result of 69.90 with sig. 0.00 then the data is declared homogeneous therefore the data read is equal variances assumed, then the t-count is greater than the t-table (20,463>2.26216) with a significance level of 1%, df 9 and sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 with an explanation of the application of the creative gymnastics learning model for basic locomotor movements in elementary school children effectively. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that: (1) With this creative gymnastics learning model, students can learn more effectively and efficiently, (2) with this creative gymnastics learning model, improvements are obtained which are shown in the pre-test and post-test results. there are significant differences.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the model Discovery Learning to improve basic questioning skills. The method used in this research is action research class, intended to obtain information regarding the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning model for improving basic questioning skills. The subjects in this research were class III B students at elementary school 64/1 Muara Bulian. Data analysis was carried out to test the research hypothesis. Analysis The research uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results obtained indicate that the Discovery model is used Learning in improving students' basic questioning skills goes by good with improvements in each cycle and can reach the criteria research success. This research offers novelty by focusing on the use of the Discovery Learning Model to improve students' basic questioning skills in class III B at elementary school 64/I Muara Bulian. The Discovery Learning model is a learning approach that emphasizes exploration, discovery and developing students' questioning skills through an active and in-depth learning process. By applying this model, this research presents a different and innovative learning approach in developing students' questioning skills, which is expected to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The research aimed to develop thematic learning multimedia focusing on events for 2nd-grade elementary school students and evaluate its effectiveness. Employing a 4-D development model, the multimedia underwent validation by both media and subject matter experts, followed by testing with students. The validation results, encompassing design and material assessment indicators, indicated the multimedia's feasibility. Furthermore, field trials demonstrated a significant improvement in student cognitive learning outcomes, with the percentage of completeness rising from 66.6% in the pre-test to 96.6% in the post-test. Consequently, it can be concluded that the thematic learning multimedia centered on events is suitable for use in teaching event-themed material to 2nd-grade elementary school students, exhibiting efficacy in enhancing student cognitive learning outcomes.
