Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teachers in planting student discipline in learning the 2013 curriculum for class IVC at elementary school 112/1 Perumnas. The aspect studied is the teacher's efforts to instill values discipline for students at elementary school 112/1 Perumnas. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the principal and class IVC teacher. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used is data reduction, displaying data and drawing conclusions. Researcher using triangulation techniques to obtain data validity. The results of this research indicate that the teacher's role is in improving student discipline has been implemented quite well, instilled discipline carried out by teachers through making rules, teaching habits, giving punishment, giving rewards, and setting an example. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the teacher has instilling the value of discipline at elementary school 112/1 Perumnas. the planting includes; (1) elements of discipline; (2) teachers combine approaches authoritarian and democratic, (3) schools involve the school committee and parents in applying discipline, (4) steps in implementing discipline not yet implemented by all teachers.

Abstract

Interest in learning is a desire and willingness accompanied by deliberate attention and activity and ultimately gives rise to a feeling of enjoyment in the subject, in changes in behavior in the form of knowledge, attitudes and skills. Student interest in learning in the Economics subject of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Muaro Jambi is considered to be still far from what is expected. One of the contributing factors is that the school environment is less supportive, apart from that the students' self-concept is also still lacking. This research is a type of Ex Post Facto research that examines events that have occurred and determines the causal factors. With a population of 126 people with a sample of 86 people. Data was collected through an instrument questionnaire with a total of 37 school environment items, 27 self-concept items, and 27 items of student interest in learning. The results of the research show that from the answer to the first hypothesis, the influence of the school environment (X1) on interest in learning (Y) has a significant influence, while the answer to the second hypothesis, the influence of self-concept (X2) on students' interest in learning (Y) has a significant influence, Next, to answer the third hypothesis, testing was carried out jointly, namely the influence of the school environment (X1) and self-concept (X2) on interest in learning (Y). There was a significant influence on the value (Fcount = 174.052>Ftable = 3.11) and R square of 0.807 or 80.7%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Authentic Assessment in the theme of the beauty of my country with the sub-theme of the natural beauty of my country for class students IV Elementary School 68/1 Kembang Paseban. This research uses a descriptive approach qualitative. Data analysis techniques are carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques, namely triangulation of sources, techniques and time. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of authentic assessment in The theme of the beauty of my country with the sub-theme of the natural beauty of my country for class students IV elementary school 68/1 Kembang Paseban is not yet implemented optimally because experienced several obstacles, including several assessment techniques that still exist assessment techniques that have not been implemented, and teachers assume that they exist teacher assessment feels burdened by the many aspects that will be assessed, and feels lack of time to carry out authentic assessments.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop teaching material products in the form of image media high print as a learning resource on the theme of the beauty of my country sub theme diversity of animals and plants in the art is subject about steps to make high print images, mathematics which is about adding decimal parts and civics, namely explaining the benefits of animals and plants in high print images. This type of research is development research using ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research produces highly printed images as learning resources which can facilitate students to play an active role, as well as provide convenience for students to understand the concept of subject matter. Based on the research results obtained, (1) questionnaire results from learning experts 85% (Very good), questionnaire results from Image Media experts 78% (Good) validated by experts, the researchers tested it on 6 class IV students Elementary School with an interview method where the results are that each student has a response positive. This research has produced a teaching material product in the form of image media high print as a learning resource on the theme of the beauty of my country that can be facilitate students to play a more active role in the learning process, as well as make it easier for students to understand the concepts of the subject matter.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using the development of Microsoft Office Power point-based science learning media on soil and earth structure in class V elementary schools. This research includes development research. In this research, the development design used is the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation) development design model. This research produces learning media based on Microsoft Office Power point on soil and earth structure. Based on the research results obtained, (1) Validation results from material experts were 87.3% (very good), (2) Validation results from media experts were 80% (good) (3) Results of interviews with students who said that students enjoyed learning with Using Microsoft Office Power Point based science learning media, it is easier to understand the subject matter, students are active and experience the learning process directly. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the learning media based on Microsoft Office Power point on soil and earth structure material that was developed is effectively used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of describing teachers' efforts to instill discipline and honest character education at the Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian elementary school. This research was conducted at SDN 13/I Muara Bulian. This research used a qualitative approach with a type of critical research. The data source in this research is the teacher of classes IB, IIA and III B Negeri 13/I Muara Bulian. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses a validity test, namely Triangulation Technique. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberma. The results of the research show that there are six efforts made by teachers to instill discipline and honest character education at SDN 13/1 Muara Bulian. Character education is successful in paying attention to individual differences, so teachers need to do the following things, first, use a variety of character education methods. Both give different tasks for each student. thirdly, modify and enrich teaching materials. The four use varying procedures in making character education assessments and reports. Fifth, understand that students' characters do not develop at the same speed. Sixth, strive for student involvement in various character activities.

Abstract

This study was aimed to produce the steps of developing and learning material of writing recount text effectively and effisiently in writing of recount text learning at MTs Asyafi’iyah. The developing model is adopted from Borg and Gall Model. In this case the writer use 6 main steps of Borg and Gall because according the writer analysis 6 main steps is effectively and effisiently in making the product of learning material. The sixth main steps is: 1) Research & Information Collecting, 2) Planning, 3) Develop Preliminary Form of Product, 4) Field Testing and Product Revision, 5) Final Product Revision, 6) Disseminassion and Implementation. Offeral findings showed that developing learning material o f writing recount text for students of the Yunior High School/Religion Yunior High School at eight grade is good qualify. Expert evaluate that this multimedia and learning material is good to be media and help the teacher to deliver the material and it could be motivated the students in learning process. Generally, based on the data analysis, expert validation or field trial showed that the quality of English Learning process in recount text writing for the eight grade of Yunior High School or Religion Yunior High School is good, so this developing product could be used as media in English learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategies used by teachers in developing Pancasila student profiles through mathematics learning at the elementary school level. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a focus on the phenomenological to describe teachers' strategies in creating Pancasila student profiles through mathematics learning. Research data was collected through interviews with class I E teachers as the main source, as well as through participatory observation and documentation as additional data sources. The research results showed that class I E teachers implemented various strategies to achieve this goal. First, in creating a profile of students who are believers, devoted to God Almighty, and have noble character, teachers become role models for students in practicing religious values and taking a personal approach to students. Second, to develop a globally diverse profile of students, teachers provide an understanding of various cultures in Indonesia. Third, to encourage the profile of students working together, teachers organize group activities and teach the values of cooperation and sincerity. Fourth, to develop an independent student profile, teachers provide individually challenging assignments and provide extra challenges to complete. Fifth, in developing the profile of students who think critically, teachers use group division to encourage students to explore information, evaluate, analyze and make conclusions. Teachers also act as motivators for students. Finally, to develop creative student profiles, teachers create fun learning, interact with students to develop their creativity, and connect learning with the context of everyday life. As a facilitator, the teacher supports the student's learning process.

Abstract

This kind of research is development research. The subjects of research are 31 students of class XI IPA 2 SMAN 8 in Muaro Jambi. The instrument used a questionnaire responses of students, teachers' questionnaire responses, observation sheet of learning activity, HOTS assessment instruments, and TPACK integration instruments of  teachers. The results are indicated on learning activities at the meeting I 96.15%, meeting II 96.68%, meeting III 97.22%, and meeting IV 97.22% , all of them belong to the category of "highly optimized". Student test scores on average 66 which includes the category of "good".
