Abstract. The aim of this study is to determine the Sigma Level of SM6switchgear production at PT. SCP, knowing the cause of Manufacture Defect Rate(MDR) high and propose improvements in the quality of production through theanalysis of Six Sigma DMAIC method. The result showed the level of Sigma hasachieved of company target but only six month. The root cause of the problem ofhigh MDR is caused by three factors: Material, Man, and Method. Proposedimprovements is hiring quality assurance design to solve drawing error,engineering design must informed to the related team when there are changes ondrawing, standardize the material to reduce variations in type of component, add3M double-tape adhesive or replace material with traffolyte label for problemlabel component are easily separated. Proposed improvements to the problems onman factors with training scheduled on an ongoing basis about wiring skills,knowledge of type of component in the panel as well as the importance ofmaintaining quality management in the production process. Proposedimprovements to the problems on Method factors is socialization and supervisionof the implementation of the working procedures.Keywords: Quality improvement, Six Sigma, Defect rate, DMAIC

PT. Arwana Nuansa Keramik is one of local tile manufacturer that produce both floor and wall tile products. Based on selling and customer complaint data in 2017 until 2018, there a lot of complaint for wall tile products and didn’t past the selling target each year. So, the aim of this study is to identified customer needs and wants in order to improve the quality of wall tile product PT. Arwana Nuansa Keramik that suit to customer needs with the result that the product can be compete with other competitor. This study using quality function deployment method until quality procedure phase. Quality Function Deployment is a method that concern in increasing the quality of a certain product based on customer needs and wants (Voice of Customer). By customer point of view, a quality is something that must have by the product, for wall tile in particular therefore it used for long life time. Identification of customer needs be obtained by distribute a questionneire to 50 respondents that recognized as a distributor of wall tile PT. Arwana Nuansa Keramik from Gorda until Tambak Area. Result of this study is a matrix that known as House of Quality matrix and contain several characteristics that can be used by PT. Arwana to improve the quality of their wall tile product. The Characteristics that shown by the matrix are strong products, ceramic products that have high quality and use advanced technology.

Abstract. PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Boiler Departement is apart of productiondepartement which produces steam that can not be separated from issues thatcorresponded with the Effectiveness of the machine caused by six big losses.Hence, some effeetive and effecient steps are needed to overcome and prevent theissue. The purpose of this research were to find out everall equipmenteffectiveness (OEE) value of the Boiler machines to analyze the six big lossesfactors, and to purpose improvement efforts based on total productivemaintenance (TPM) concept this research used OEE measurement method six biglosses, calculation analysis and cause effeect diagram to examine existingproblem to give solution improvement for the problem. The results shower thatthe average OEE value of three boiler machine is not meeting standards of basetarget companies. The most effecting factors of OEE value were reduced speedlosses and breakdowns losses. The proposed action for improve boiler machineeffectiveness were by utilizing autonomous maintenance according to TPMconcept.Keyword: Total productive Maintenance, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, sixbig losses.

Six sigma is a method for improving processes that focus on reducing process variations using statistical approaches and effective problem solving. The purpose of this method is calculating the impact of six sigma applications to company productivity. Six sigma not only aims to achieve zero defect, with the Six Sigma method optimizing production (Productivity), Six sigma, supporting the proper procedures in line with business goals both system and process. With the DMAIC method, we get as much information as possible and as soon with the smallest sample unit of the experiment. From the results of the paper, Takt Time reduce, 9.2s à 8.5s proved by DMAIC analysis to get effective and efficient improvement that ultimately can improve the company's efficiency.

One of the largest tour and travel service provider in Indonesia based in Jakarta has a traditional approach in maintaining its inventory which consists of mostly gimmicks and travel amenities. It mainly purchases goods for a whole year’s worth in order to achieve economies of scale and quantity discount without paying in regards to its actual demand conditions, as a result dead-stock is massive in number, and inventory costs are high. As an addition, this goes against green tourism philosophy. The purpose of this research is to maintain the inventory of the company by utilizing ABC Inventory model (y, R) EOQ model. With limited time as the main constraint to actually see the result of the proposed model, a computational simulation using Rockwell Arena is used to verify and measure the solutions. The result shows that with ABC Inventory model combined with (y,R) EOQ model, the company can reduce its inventory level especially on the most sensitive goods. A positive result is found on the second scenario during the 1st, 3rd, and 5th period where there is no instance of stockout.

Rapid economic development causes increasingly fierce business competition. Moreover, the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, companies are competing to use technology to increase competitive advantage and efficiency in the company. One of the most popular information technology investments today is the Application of Systems and Products in Data Processing (SAP), systems that do business using a single database that can be accessed by all divisions within the company. The purpose of this research is to study and discuss the application of Systems and Products in Data Processing (SAP) conducted at PT. Haier Sales Indonesia. This study uses qualitative methods through in-depth interviews with IT Managers and Logistics Managers and warehouse administration staff using Pareto diagrams and fishbone diagrams. The results of the evaluation of the application of Application Systems and Products in Data Processing (SAP) in Inventory Logistics that occurred at PT. Haier Sales Indonesia is getting better, all data from every activity has been documented and integrated into the system much faster than the manual process that has been done before and can produce accurate reports. Suggestions are given in order to continue training in SAP Systems and Applications for users in developing SAP Systems and Applications.

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to identify and reduce waste in theprocurement process of goods/services at PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE). Theprocurement process analysis of good/services uses the concept of lean thinkingthat begins with the observation that focused on process of good/servicesprocurement. Based on the current state mapping, there was several wastes at theinitial inquiry stage or good/services procurement process which incomplete, arecurring assessment process in the pre-qualification stage of goods/servicesprocurement, and the long contract process. Future state mapping showed theimprovement process by applying the procedure of goods/services procurementinquiry, making the certified to replace administration document, and applying theGeneral Terms and Conditions of the contract. Total cycle time to responseincomplete request showed the significance improvement from 3.600 seconds to 0second. Total cycle time for prequalification process showed significantimprovement from 345.600 seconds to 3.600 seconds or improve 98,96%. Totalcycle time for contract process showed the significant improvement from1.209.600 seconds to 432.000 seconds or improve 64,29%. Based on thecalculation of process cycle efficiency value showed the significant improvementfrom 0,58 to 0,83 or improve 30%.Keywords: procurement process, lean services, process cycle efficiency.

Clothesline clothing is a necessity that must be owned by almost every one. Rain or inclement weather up to now become a key issue for the people that have a clothesline. At the time of the rainy season, the majority of people feel anxious when they're drying the clothes. The anxiety will increase while at the time of drying clothes but concerned are located outside the House and in the House was no person. The genesis of the people so reluctant to open places pakain drying, fearing jemurannya wet exposed to rain water. This research has been made on a prototype automatic clothes clothesline system using microcontroller, Arduino wifi module, a motor with sensors-sensors installed in it. In the logic of determining the weather conditions used fuzzy logic to produce output that is accurate. The prototype architecture is intended to make it easier for people when drying their clothes, so when the rain struck, clothesline clothing can move automatically toward the shade so that her clothes were not wet exposed to rain water. Of all the testing and evaluation that have been carried out, i.e. testing the response of the sensor against rain, tools testing response tool against the light sensor, testing mobile applications in data reading on the sensor and testing system in controlling Clothesline the clothes manually using mobile applications, obtained that the system created has been functioning properly and produce output as expected.

PT. GP is a pharmaceutical company producing pharmaceuticals in solid, semi-solid and liquid form such as creams and ointments. PT GF has problem in set up time and stop by touble machine during the process running caused inefficien time. This problem need improvement action so that company could go running more effecient. The purpose of this research is to get appropriate action and method for reducing the set up time by SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies mehod). SMED applied by separating the activity set up into two stages of the internal set up and external set up. SMED succesfully decrease in set up time of 26%.

Abstract. Decline in the performance of the employee's achievement of businesstargets are not marked with the reporting of audit results in the last three years.This research aims to analyze the influence of leadership, work motivation and thework environment on performance of employees in Biro Pengawasan danPemeriksaan of PT Bank Panin Tbk. The method of research is descriptiveanalysis. The population of the research was the entire employees of BiroPengawasan dan Pemeriksaan PT Bank Panin Tbk which totaled 253 people.Sampling techniques using simple random sampling with the formula slovinfound 155 employees as sample. The methods analysis of this study is multiplelinear regression. F test results show that leadership, work motivation and workenvironment has a positive and significant influence on performance ofemployees. The t-test results show that the leadership of significant and negativeeffect on performance of employees, motivation of working is not significant andnegative effect on performance of employees and work environment a significantand positive effect on performance of employees. Based on the results ofemployees performance analysis can be maximized through increasedpsychological conditions of the work environment, as we reduce overtime.Keywords: Leadership, Work Motivation, Work Environment, EmployeesPerformance.
