Abstract

This research is conducted at an electronics company in Tangerang which produces a refrigerator with an average production capacity of 5,500 units per day. To improve productivity in the manufacturing process at the company has done several automation processes in several workstations that allow automation processes. Takt time reduce from 12 seconds to 8.5 seconds and the number of operators 80% decreased from 10 operators to only 2 operators. It also has the effect of reducing the possible risk of accidents for operators. Automation processes using robots have advantages in terms of process stability and ease in the adjustment of motion, making it particularly appropriate in automation processes in the manufacturing process industry. That is based on analysis conducted by using SWOT analysis method.

Abstract

The Six Sigma approach has received a lot of attention in various industrial sectors from the manufacturing industry to the service industry. More specific knowledge about Six Sigma has grown rapidly. Much of the training and research on Six Sigma is carried out in various industries and university. This literature review related to Six Sigma purpose to provide an overview of Six Sigma implementation in the manufacturing industries.  The Six Sigma approach that has been introduced and implemented for a long time is DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control). This paper discusses the published literature related to Six Sigma ranging from 2015 to 2020. This paper involves the study review of 50 papers related to the implementation of Six Sigma of known database search including Elsevier, Science Direct, Emerald Insight and Google Scholars. This literature review contains results from a variety of different perspectives. The perspective includes the focus of the industry, the focus of the number of distribution by country, the focus of the year of publication and the focus of the number of publishers. In fact, this is useful for all types of manufacturing industries to find solutions to problems. The paper also provides advantages for researchers next to add to the literature.

Abstract

The application of quality management education that is popular with the term Total Quality Education (TQE) emphasis on finding that is consistent with the continuous improvement to achieve customer needs and satisfaction. This study aims to assist the school management in evaluating the quality of services, direct remediation efforts to improve service attributes weak. The study was conducted in SMA YASPORBI by integrating two different methods, namely SERVQUAL and QFD. Servqual identify the strengths and weaknesses of the quality of service, QFD translates into a customer's desire to do a technical response by the management of the school. Obtained as many as 11 educational service attributes that should be fixed on the 32 attributes of existing educational services with two attributes is a priority repairs, which teachers help students choose college majors that fit their talents and interests of students and their training in dealing with the selection of new admissions. In the House of Quality Level 2 obtained four technical response to the priorities to be developed by the school management to meet the wants and needs of customers, namely training, workshops, and educational seminars, and school linkages with institutes of psychology, learning systems moving class, and compiled a book program of activities for the school year.

Abstract

At the beginning of 2020 the world was shocked by the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19) which infected almost all countries in the world. In Indonesia this has an impact on the manufacturing industry sector and survey services. Through this phenomenon, researchers want to look at human psychological factors, how anxious they are about the impact of covid-19, which can lead to potential infection, reduced personal income, companies going bankrupt, massive layoffs, reduced need for staples, and communication between employees which is obstructed. The study design used a cross sectional approach by distributing questionnaires to 220 employees, from the manager, supervisor and staff level using the Discriminant analysis method so that the discriminant function to determine the level of anxiety evaluation was D = -0.003 + 0.634x1 + 0.696x3 - 0.520x4 + 0.168 x5 - 0.864x7.

Hasil analisis matriks IE menunjukkan posisi perusahaan pada Sel - I (grow and build). Abstract

Increased investment in the beverage industry sector has boosted the growth of the beverage industry while impacting the size of beverage packaging needs in Indonesia. PT. Indo Tirta Abadi as a company engaged in beverage packaging supply chains for the largest beverage companies in Indonesia seeks to maximize the company's performance to become the leading beverage packaging manufacturer in Indonesia. The problem is that the Injection Husky-8 engine that produces PET-Preform as the company's flagship product has increased the number of pending products and caused losses for the company. The aim of this study was to improve the achievement of OEE on the 8-Husky Injection machine. Analysis of the six big losses and fishbone diagrams is used to identify losses and their causes, then FMEA and 5W1H are used as tools to determine priority recommendations for improvements based on the level of risk of causing losses. The existing OEE value of Injection machines is 92.40%. This achievement is quite good when compared to word-class OEE but has not yet achieved the company's target. Based on the analysis, the dominant factors that have not achieved the OEE target are defects in process & rework and reduced speed. Priority improvements are needed, namely overcoming the crust of the barrel material and the burning runner at start-up, overcoming the high tower cooling temperature, and overcoming high feed temperature by purging with undried resin during engine startup, periodic cleaning and maintenance processes on the cooling unit tower, and install Premixer in feedthroath.

Abstract

The current issue of the Indonesian people is that there is a discussion about the discourse of moving the new capital city.  The process of moving capital city requires a lot of qualified human and material resources, but whether we can see whether it is possible for the capital city to move in a very short time. Logistics and supply chains are two things that are not separated in the process of moving goods and services. Supply chain management in the construction of new capital city includes material, heavy equipment, human resource   services and suppliers. The objective of this research is to develop the framework of supply chain performance measurement using SCOR method. Through SCOR research, can be traced anywhere that needs to produce more in terms of human resources and materials needed in the future, then the government needs to build a framework of indicators that must be achieved and targeted.
