Abstract

Performance measurement in manufacturing industry is usually measured with the approach of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). In the mining industry, backhoe excavator performance can also be measured by OEE value approach. OEE value measurement performed on the excavator in coal mine Embalut Kaltim. In the case study on the company, the performance analysis also compared with the backhoe excavator defined performance targets of the company. OEE Value mine done OEE parameter modification into 3 dimensions: availability, utilization and productivity index. OEE measurement mine OB Removal devoted to the activity, as this activity has a value greater than most activity cost Getting Coal. The measurement results OEE values for the existing conditions is very low. Two of six units which have a low OEE value. The low value of OEE most influential is the utilization value. If compared with OEE value targets, there are five units of backhoe has a value below the target. Efforts are being made to improve OEE values is by the application of TPM: implementing autonomous maintenance, implementation of SMED: change the internal activity into external and doing jobs that could be eliminated or Parallelize and application 5W1H: make your creative ideas by way of brainstorming or explore the idea of problem solving, After implementation of the improvement idea, the value of simulation obtained quite good, an increase compared with OEE value before improvement.

Abstract

The steel industry is classified as a strategic industry that supports many industries, due to continuous national development. The steel industry must improve the quality of its production processes in order to increase its competiveness. One factor that supports the stability of the production process is the procurement process. To overcome the problem, the TOPSIS method is used to analyze supplier performance as a basis for determining supplier selection during the procurement process. Data is taken from the results of the questionnaire from the Material Procurement Division and the Vendor Management Office with criteria of price, quality, delivery time, suitability of the goods and Supplier Professionalism, and by choosing five alternative suppliers who are active in supplying goods. From the results of the questionnaire created a normalized matrix. Form the matrix determined distance with positive solution and negative solution alternative so we get a preference value for each alternative, and obtained PT. Siemen as a supplier with the closest relative proximity with a value of 0.6469.

Abstract

Abstract. Human resources are an important asset for a company that has theability to evolve as a determinant of success in the long term. Employees who arecompetent and have the ability of high knowledge, motivation and reward in theform of hiring, therefore this thesis discusses the analysis of the effect of training,motivation and employee status on the performance of employees of PTIndofarma (Persero) Tbk. This research approach is quantitative research andresearch is a causal explanatif. The study sample as many as 110 employees of PTIndofarma (Persero) Tbk. The results showed that the training, motivation andemployee status positive influence on employee performance either partially orsimultaneously (parallel) and the highest correlation among the three independentvariables are training. The conclusion of this analysis, training, motivation andhiring should be further improved, because these three discount an important rolein improving the performance of employees.Keywords: employee performance, motivation, training, employee status

Abstract

Mesin dikatakan memiliki produktivitas tinggi jika dapat menghasilkan produk secara cepat dengan sumber daya yang terbatas namun menghasilkan kualitas tinggi. Sebuah mesin printing berfungsi mencetak logo pada kaca film memiliki produktivitas yang cukup rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis six big losses pada mesin printing kaca film dan menerapkan metode FMEA serta TPM untuk menigkatkan nilai OEE Mesin printing kaca film. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian observatif (non-eksperimental). Data kuantitatif akan diambil dengan melihat permasalahan yang terjadi pada perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Nilai OEE setelah perbaikan Available Rate mengalami kenaikan sebesar 7%, Performance Rate naik 2%, dan Quality Rate naik sebesar 17%. Maka dengan hasil ini Nilai OEE setelah perbaikan menjadi 39%. Berdasarkan analisis six big losses didapat loss terbesar adalah Quality Loss yaitu sebesar 25.597 menit atau dengan persentase 21,84%. Berdasarkan analisis FMEA masalah prioritas terkait Severity, Occurence, dan Detection yang prioritas yaitu (1). Tegangan roll film tidak stabil, (2). Tidak mencetak, (3). Operator terjepit, dan (4). Dot matrix mengalami dislokasi. Penerapan autonomous maintenance, kaizen, dan planned maintenance berhasil meningkatkan Nilai OEE Mesin Printing Kaca Film.

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this research is to find out of the effect of quality products andpromotion towards customer satisfication and implication to customer loyality. Therespondents on this research are customers of CASA and time deposit on RabobankTanah Abang Branch, and they have become customer for at least 12 months. Thenumber of respondents is set of 100 respondents by using sampling technique. Thisresearch used analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that:There is a positive correlation towards quality products with customer‘s satisfaction,promotion to customer‘s satisfaction, quality product and promotion of customer‘ssatisfaction, product with the customer‘s loyalty, promotion to customer‘s loyalty, andcustomer‘s satisfaction. Quality product, promotion towards the satisfication and loyalitycustumer, and there is no positive and significant correlation of quality product,promotion towards the loyality customer‘s through the customer‘s satisfaction as theintervening variable. Recommended for further researchers to expand the scope of theresearch is not just only one Rabobank Indonesia Branch but include of the othersRabobank Indonesia Branchs. Management of Rabobank Indonesia should to conductevaluation and improved the service in case of responsiveness by giving special trainingfor customer service to minimize complaintin order to increase satisfication and customerloyality.Keywords: Quality Product, Promotion, Satisfaction, and Customer Loyalty

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know and analyze the strength and direction of influence customer relationship marketing and after sales service to customer satisfaction at PT AUTO 2000 Daan Mogot. This type of research used is quantitative research with explanative design. The sample was taken by accidental sampling technique with 69 respondents. Data obtained through questionnaires developed based on indicators of each variable and measured by Likert scale. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) customer relationship marketing partially significant effect on customer satisfaction (2) after sales service partially significant effect on customer satisfaction and (3) simultaneously, customer relationship marketing and after sales service significantly influence customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Construction activities such as piping and civil works utilities always potentially pose a risk. Therefore, risk management is indispensable for the success of a construction project. The pipeline and Civil works construction project to meet the distribution of clean water needs in Jakarta through the Cooperation Agreement  PDAM Pam Jaya and PT Pam Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) potentially generate various risks. The purpose of this research is to analyse risk management on piping and civil works utility construction using the house of risk model.  Research is conducted through two phases. The first phase is the identification of risks and risk agents in the piping and civil works utility construction through the measurement of severity and occurrence levels to produce an aggregate risk priority (ARP), then conducts a risk mitigation analysis in the second phase. 60 respondents involved in the study consisting of project managers, supervisors, and engineers on pipeline and civil works construction projects. The results of the analysis successfully identified 60 risk events and 38 risk agents in the construction of utility piping and work civil PDAM Pam Jaya. FGD and Pareto analysis used in the study produced five recommendations for mitigation actions that are expected to be able to mitigate risk on piping and civil utility construction by establishing QA/QC independently/cooperation, take corrective action (corrective action), conduct testing or testing with the applicable provisions, implement ISO certification of 9001:2015 quality management, and perform training on procedures and standards that apply periodically.

Abstract

Abstract. Approach to discover customer expectations is needed to improve thecompetitiveness of the university. This study aims to determine the characteristicsof services which do not satisfy customer expectations and provide advice onimproving service quality Admission and Promotion Bureau Universitas Bakrie.This research used ServQual method to measure customer expectations andperceptions. Information was gathered by a questionnaire with Likert scale.Proceed with observation and interviews with Universitas Bakrie management toanalyze of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) by the House of Quality(HOQ) first stage. The results show that 17 indicators in five dimensionsServQual have greater customer expectations of perception. Dimensions tangibleson the first rank of customer dissatisfaction. Generaly, the service characteristicsin Admission and Promotion Bureau did not meet customer expectations includeunoptimal the use of communications technology, registration facilities wereinadequate, and service staff Admission and Promotion Bureu did not maximalyet.Then followed sequentially reliability, responsiveness, assurance, andempathy. The main recommendation in this research is the provision of adequatecommunication tools to cut the distance between the consumer and Admissionand Promotion Bureau and internal member Admission and Promotion Bureau.The findings in this research may help management to enhance service quality toincrease customer satisfaction.Keywords: quality, service,admission and promotion, ServQual, QFD, HOQ

Abstract

This research is the design of  new technology which is  simple by engineering hydraulic system and  principles of hand grip which functions  as adjustable twig clipper  that is ergonomic, with the normal length of 1.5 meters,  maximum length of 3 meters., weight of 2.8 kg,  the length of grip range  of 94 mm and handlebar diameter of 52 mm. This research used the method of ergonomic analysis to identify the suitability of the device with human by taking 95 percentile. From the findings, the hand grip diameter obtained is 54, 29 mm while the hand palm width is 97.87 mm, and the maximum pressure required to cut the branch is 522.29 kg/cm2 with a diameter of 1 cm that is for the type of clove twig. In addition, from the NIOSH analysis, it is obtained that the required weight is 4.89 Kg while from the QEC method, the highest score percentage is 47.62. This means that it is necessary to improve the equipment in the future. In order to prevent tiredness, the suggested working duration is 8.40 minutes and 7.14 minutes for resting time. From the results of research, it can be concluded that this device still needs to be improved in the future. In addition, the usage time is quite short and it is only functioned for harvesting clove and harvesting other similar with maximum diameter of 1 cm.

Abstract

High competition in the lubricants business results in customer services become a benchmark for the success of this business in Indonesia, One of the services provided is pegudangan system that is part of the supply chain system. The existence of obstacles in the process of handling in and out in a warehouse handling PT Petronas Niaga Indonesia resulted in the need for companies to choose a new warehouse as an alternative lubricants. The number of alternatives which can be used warehouse forced the company to make the process of pre-qualification and qualification process to obtain alternative lubricants warehouse priority desired by the company. In the pre-qualification process lubricants warehouse alternative screening process is done by using the weighted product method to reduce warehouse alternative lubricants in the process of qualifying criteria based lubricants warehouse needs. In the process of qualifying the selection process is then performed by Analytical method Hirarchy Process (AHP) using five criteria: cost, infrastructure, market, safety, and the macro environment. Each of these criteria are translated into sub-criteria. The results obtained qualification process priority is the best lubricant warehouse is PT GAC Samudra Logistics with the highest weight, followed by PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia and PT Jaya Puninar with weights respectively and PT GAC Samudra Logistics superior in infrastructure and safety criteria, while PT Wiraswasta Gemilang Indonesia superior at cost and market criteria.
