BBR has been accredited by DIKTI under the decree number 158/E/KPT/2021. BBR provide a forum for lecturers, academicians, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to publish empirical multidiscipline research in business & management research, from operations to corporate governance and marketing. Abstract

PT New Inti Furnindo Branch Bandung is a private company engaged in the knock-down furniture trade, ,which is a branch of the PT New Inti Furnindo Branch Jakarta. The products sold are produced centrally in Jakarta. The problems faced by this company are annual sales that never meet the targets set by the head quarter, the problems in the organizational structure and procedures of sales and cash receipts that are considered less effective and efficient in achieving corporate objectives. The method used to examine the issue is to do a descriptive analysis to compare the current condition with criteria or standards that should be implemented, examined data relating to the companys revenue cycle and then make direct observations on the implementation of sales procedures, and conduct interviews with officials related to findings. The results indicate that the sales target setting is not effective, the establishment of sales procedures and organizational structures that are inefficient. This condition will cause the company less economies, which in turn affect the company’s going concern.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of transfer of interest at class XII students in a private high school in Bogor to five universities in the Greater Jakarta namely UI, UBinus, Untar, IPB and UPH in the next period and the conditions of equilibrium, and to discover the source of reference selection and assessment of students on the fifth university. Sample consists of 411 class XII students in a private high school in Bogor, with the method and type of survey research is descriptive research. The result is a prediction of the five university in order in the next period of (0.22, 0.31, 0.14, 0.22, 0.11) when the equilibrium prediction of (0.15, 0.562, 0.076, 0.151, 0.09) and the selection of a reference source that is 29% of promotional events, 25 % of the ads, 24% of the families, and 22% from friends. Largest market share held by UBinus enthusiasts of 56.2%, while the smallest market share owned by Untar enthusiasts that is equal to 7.6%.

Abstract

Badung Regency, Bali, has a complexity in tourism products that should be understood through a systemic approach. Leiper’s model of tourism system was used in this article as a tool to review the system and elements of local tourism. Leiper’s model was widely known for its simplicity, this model focuses on the elements of tourist generating region, transit region, and tourist destination region. The data used were secondary datas obtained from the Tourism Board of Badung Regency, which then grouped into tourism elements, comprising tourists, tourist generating region, transit region, tourist destination region, and tourism industry. The comparative review conducted in this research was aimed at comparing the ideal conditions to actual conditions in Badung Regency. Such review, which is decsribed descriptively, generates findings which include how Leiper’s model views spatial and geographical side only; how elements of tourism industry become important sub-elements that should be incorporated in tourist generating region (except for tourist attractions) as well as tourist destination region; and how Leiper’s tourism system is considered as being too simple and general to depict the complexity of tourism elements in Badung Regency.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to know how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity was, to know CSR activity using ISO 26000 standard, and to evaluate ISO 26000 reporting and disclosure in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk using GRI 4.0 standard. The object of this research was PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Research used qualitative method with primary data from interview with Divisi Sekretariat Perusahaan KP BRI and annual report dan sustainability report analysis, while secondary data was literature study related with the research. BRI is a BUMN bank that has exclusive program. It is Program Kemitraan dan Bina Lingkungan (PKBL). The guidance of PKBL is Peraturan Menteri Negara BUMN No.PER-20/MBU/2012 about Program Kemitraan BUMN dengan Usaha Kecil dan Program Bina Lingkungan. At the end, the company’s vision and mission supports the CSR company’s activity. BRI has complied with the ISO 26000 standard and has reported the implementation of ISO 26000 standard in accordance with GRI 4.0. (RS)

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to identify the needs of web-based CRM in PT ASP and also to design the suitable CRM for the company. The research method is by analyzing competitions in the industry with Porter’s five forces analysis and formulating framework in input stage, matching stage, decision stage to choose the best strategy for the company. From the analysis of formulating strategy, it could be concluded that market penetration strategy is the best strategy for PT ASP. Market penetration strategy is an approach of web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to increase service quality for customers and company introduction to broaden community. Web-based CRM design is suitable for PT ASP based on interview conclusion using 5 features (5C) from the 7 features (7C) in web design elements.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to test factors that influence income smoothing in manufacture industry which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and in companies registered in LQ45 index. Factors would be tested were company size, profitability, financial risk, and public ownership structure. Number of sample was 74 companies consist of 65 manufactures and 9 other registered in LQ45 respectively. Sample selection conducted using purposive sampling method. The criteria’s were the companies should been listed from year 2006 until 2008, never reporting net loss, complete data, reporting currency was IDR, did not involve in any merger nor acquit ion, and consistently registered in LQ45 index during observation. To identify the company that conduct income smoothing we using Eckel Index. Hypothesis would be tested using binary logistic regression. The results showed that company size had significant influence toward income smoothing, however profitability, profitability, financial risk, and public ownership structure had not significant influence toward income smoothing.

Abstract

PT Multi Bintang Indonesia is a beverages production company, and one of its products are Green Sands. In early 2002, Green Sands revitalize to Green Sands Alcohol-Free and communicated through several promotional tools, including advertising and public relations. This study examines what brand image embedded on the consumers, and what is the level of influence of advertising and public relations toward the creation of brand image of products Green Sands Alcohol-Free. The research methods used in this study is test Cochran, multiple regression, and cobwebs. The result, brand image that is embedded in consumer brand is cool and trendy and unique and refreshing taste. Advertising and public relations by creating a brand image is only 7.2%, the rest from other factors. Brand image is embedded in the customers had not yet reached the desired scale of the company.

Abstract

Development experts and skilled professionals in Indonesia is still needed today. This paper highlights the development efforts of experts and professionals in the Indonesias executive power, as well as scientific studies which could give input for the government or educational institutions and industry. The approach used in this paper is library study by exploring the relevant references to the topic, and performed descriptive analysis. Institutions, such as universities and secondary vocational schools, are expected to produce skilled professionals with specific competence requirements. It is expected the government to prioritize opportunities to those less educated to follow a course skills, because they are the largest part of todays workforce. The weakness today is still a lot of educational institutions that do not have adequate infrastructure according to the requirements specified. The important conclusion is that the government is expected to give impetus and greater responsibility for higher education institutions, vocational schools and training centers and courses of work skills. In addition to the certification body to work more effectively because many Indonesian workers within and outside the country who do not yet have certification.

Abstract

Tempe is a food made from the fermentation of soybeans or some other materials using somekind of fungus Rhizopus, such as Rhizopus oligosporus, Rh. oryzae, Rh. stolonifer or also known as bread mold, or Rh. arrhizus. Fermentation preparations are commonly known as "yeast tempe". Tempe has been known since ancient times, particularly in Java as supplement staple food which is high protein and low cholesterol. Tempe and tofu selling price is still low compared to other protein food sources, such as fish and chicken. According to market research, the majority of tempe and tofu products is still the lower class’ consumption, since the quality and processing methods are traditional distribution, including in sanitation and hygiene. It is necessary to stimulate and generate interest in the bank to develop relationship with the Indonesian Tofu Tempe Producers Cooperative (KOPTI) and its members to tempe producers can increase production and performance. Tempe and Tofu Development Centers Manufacturers through Integrated Partnership Program by KOPTI as a company with a core group of tempe and tofu manufacturers, which are members of the KOPTI, is the modernization of tempe and tofu small business activity to be an independent food business industry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of work environment and motivation on creativity to Pawnshop employees, Regional Office of Central Jakarta. The method of analysis used in this study is quantitative study with population of 50 Pawnshop employees, Central Jakarta Regional Office. The data were collected by distributing questionnaires consisting of some questions. Variables in this study were divided into 2 groups, working environment (X1) and motivation (X2) as the independent variables, and creativity (Y) as the dependent variable. This research used linear regression analysis method and multiple regressions as tools to solve the problem. Results of the analysis showed that there are significant and simultaneous effects on variables between work environment and motivation on employees’ creativity of the pawnshop, Central Jakarta Regional Office.
