Abstract

Mal Lippo Cikarang a shopping center that uses outsourcing employees to manager level down. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work environment and job insecurity on work motivation and its impact on employee performance Outsourcing in Lippo Cikarang Mall. The method of analysis used in this study are Pearson correlation and path analysis. Data obtained from the assessment of employees through questionnaires and interviews. Results achieved in this study was to determine that the work environment at the Mall Lippo Cikarang less convenient and there is job insecurity on the company and therefore contributes less well on work motivation and employee performance Outsourcing in Lippo Cikarang Mall. Job insecurity has a weak and a significant effect on work motivation and employee performance and work environment has a fairly strong relationship and significant impact on employee motivation and performance. Motivation to work has a strong relationship to the employees performance. With the company is expected to focus on increasing motivation and improving the working environment at the Mall Lippo Cikarang and member attention on job insecurity. In addition, the expected results of this research can provide input to the Mall Lippo Cikarang so as to improve employee performance Outsourcing as well.

Abstract

This study has two objectives; first, knowing the job motivation and individual competence contribution towards the performance of salesperson at Ray White Cengkareng. Second, knowing the job motivation, individual competence, performance contribution towards selling of salesperson at Ray White Cengkareng. The type of this study used is associative survey and the analysis technique used is the path analysis. The data are obtained through a survey with questionnaire as the main instrument which were distributed to salesperson and manager of Ray White Cengkareng who were chosen as respondents. The results of this study indicate that the job motivation and individual competence contributes simultaneously and significantly towards the performance of salesperson. Besides, the job motivation, individual competence, and performance contribute simultaneously and significantly towards selling of salesperson.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of person-environment fit on the relationship between organizational culture and staff turnover intention. Data were obtained from permanent employees who were working in unit business at PT.Berca Hardayaperkasa (n = 75). This research method is explanatory survey. This type of research is associative. The analysis used in this study is a path analysis. The results indicate that the organizational culture has a significant influence to the staff turnover intention and person-environment fit has a significant mediating influence on the relationship between organizational culture with staff turnover intention.

Abstract

Educational institution as a provider of skilled manpower in the tourism industry is the focus of the research field of tourism. Education was instrumental in creating quality human resources. Education in the teaching process can be interpreted as a process of creating a quality resource. Today many emerging institutions or educational institutions have a similar goal, promoting competition in terms of absorption of students with the advanced system of teaching, facilities and quality teachers. Students as customers of the educational institution require the services here in the form of reciprocal teaching with payments to educational institutions. Students can stay in one educational institution if the service of educational institutions provides benefits to student functions.

Abstract

High competition in the banking industry requires the banking industry to properly manage relationships with customers, as it is known as Customer Relationship Management (CRM). CRM applications will become effective when supported by information technology. Investment in information technology is not a small investment, because the higher the information technology, the greater the value of the investment. This study aims to obtain a model of CRM performance measurement in the banking industry efficiently and effective. The method in this study uses descriptive analytical method, while the results obtained in this study is a CRM Scorecard. CRM Scorecard is one of the approach models that correctly measure the performance of CRM, which is based on information technology. Through CRM Scorecard approach, information technology investment in CRM is no longer seen as a cost center, but seen to be a profit center, because the company can manage customers efficiently and effectively in order to enhance shareholder value in the future.

Abstract

Restaurant is one of the businesses that support tourism development. Restaurants nowadays don’t only provide food, but also the service and atmosphere to their customers. The purpose of this study is to discover theaspects defining restaurant atmosphere and the implications of restaurant atmosphere to other particular aspects related to restaurant business. This article is written based on a study conducted through a literature review. Through the examination, it is found that the atmosphere of a restaurant is one important aspect and can be considered as a competitive advantage as well as one of the determinants of customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Nowadays, in this era of globalisation the hospitality industry needs well educated employees. Therefore the hotel school has to provide human resources to fit any position in the hospitality industry. The author chose the International Hotel Management Institute (IMI)-Switzerland for research too specifically investigates factors affecting students’ motivations to study. The author’s experience was that many students of hospitality are not very motivated to study hotel management. Students get bored while having lectures, are not motivated to go to the library to research, and yet to be educated is the main reasons that students come to IMI to study hospitality. The author has set several objectives in chapter two to ensure the flow of this research. The literature review will be covered in motivating of students study for hotel school education.Literature review which is critically analysed by the author was chosen by the author according the field of study. The sample chosen for this research was motivation students study from first, second, third and fourth year students in IMI- Switzerland Several motivation of this research was the reference book of this field study, and the length of time for making this dissertation. After the primary data were collected and analysed, it was discovered that most of all students in IMI-Switzerland is to have a better chance of getting a job after finishing the course.

Abstract

With more advanced technology in the era of globalization, every company strives to always improve the quality of its production and marketing management with the goal of maximizing the benefits of appropriate targets desired by each company. Marketing is one very important function within the company, which with the right marketing can determine the sales volume and position of the company (product) in the market. By analyzing the survey results with the review and assessment activities based on the theories that exist in the literature that has been collected, the respondents considered important to the companys use of marketing strategies that companies can develop and run well in line with current technology.

Abstract

The process of making a cake in the modern era, demanding speed because of the time more valuable and more widely distribution coverage, which means greater production capacity. Then the process is made as efficient as possible. Busyness is high enough to make parents and family also eventually follow the diet and no hassle instant preparation. Now was enough just to buy one box of instant cake mix that is usually already included in the package, plus live eggs, and butter cake be desired. The process is also very clear instructions printed on the packaging of instant flour. From the results of analysis of Material Differences between Normal and Instant Ingredients (Paired Samples Correlations) then we can see the differences, views of significant value. If sig is smaller than 0:05, the materials A and B materials are different, but if the sig is greater than 0:05, the materials A and B, have same material. From the above table can be viewed texture and flavor of the cake A and B are different, while for the smell, taste, and colors have in common. So it can be concluded that between the two cakes A and B are same.

Abstract

Business Process Reengineering is a phase of redesigning business process to improve performance. Business Process Reengineering can be applied to improve micro or medium businesses. One example from them comes from a soymilk company. XYZ Soymilk Company is one of the examples of Small and Medium enterprises with home-industry system. Its organizational structure consists of the director and some divisions. Those divisions, which are run by employees, are: production division, procurement division, finance division, and marketing division. The produced soymilk is packed in plastic bags with Susu Kedelai “XYZ” label on it. This product later is marketed in the canteens of universities, some stores around neighborhoods, and supermarkets. The main market target of this product is university students and people around the location. The promotion is done by attaching promotion flyers on some strategic places. The problem that occurs is a shortage in operational management, the number of command and control in the operating system, as well as recording done still manually. The purpose of using Business Process Reengineering concept processing system is to be more computerized for a better, faster, more accurate, effective and efficient, and improvement in operation management system as an attempt to survive among other competitors. The results of the business process reengineering are some business process ideas.
