Abstract

Picking the right hotel can be tricky especially in today’s world of multiple rating systems. A luxury hotel rating once topped out at five stars but in the war to snag vacationers certain hotels that sing tunes of opulence and luxurious pleasure have started to accumulate seven stars. Star rating systems vary from continentto continent, country to country, and in a country. Hotel ratings have become a subjective assessment of amenities depending on the hotel and location. But the big question that is how they rate a seven stars Hotel. What makes it different from five stars Hotel or any fine establishment alike. In this case, the author is over viewing some of the Hotels in the world that are known for its seven stars reputation and taking a closer look on how they get their reputation for being the most luxurious Hotels in the world.

Abstract

PD Utama Jaya Plasindo is a trading company which processes plastic resin. In the daily process, the company has many problems or constraints in production planning. Uncertainty demand of goods fluctuation has effect on shortage or surplus production. Other problems are raw materials, machine work hour, labour work hour, and the demand of the products. Simplex Method of Linear Programming purposes to maximize profit in linear function, Profit = 37 A + 46 B + 38 C + 46 D and linear functions of the seven constraints, Raw materials = 7 A + 5,8 B + 8,6 C + 7,6 D ≤ 180.000 grams, Machine Work Hour = 2,5 A + 3 B + 2 C + 2,5 D ≤86.400 seconds, Labor Work Hour = 5 A + 5 B + 5 C + 5 D ≤ 115.200 seconds, Demands of GRX 25 = A ≤2400 pcs, demand of GTW 25 = B ≤ 7200 pcs, demand of GTX 25 = C ≤ 3000 pcs, and demand of GTX 25 M = D ≤ 6600 pcs. The total profit earned by PD Utama Jaya Plasindo from plastic buckle products is Rp 837,000.00 per day and for 20 efective days is Rp 16,752,000.00 with the assumption of profit is in accordance with fixed objective and constraint functions.

Abstract

This research mapped the phenomena that occured in students who are taking classes entrepreneurship that was limited by entrepreneurial knowledge, personal attitude, social norms and self-efficacy. Using descriptive statistics on the answers of 794 respondents, who were students of Bina Nusantara University, produced a variety of results. Based on entrepreneurial knowledge, students still felt hesitant to be able to start and run the entrepreneurial process. On the other hand, self-efficacy and personal attitude reflect a positive thing associated, while the support of family and the environment around where they livevalued invariety. Although this research discovered phenomenon using all the attributes having impacts on entrepreneurship intention, potential students who are properly trained have a probability of playing a leading role in this regard. The benefits that can be expected from this research are useful in identifying suitable students for any entrepreneurial activity in the future with the support of educational institutions, families, and the government as a whole to form the atmosphere of an entrepreneurial culture.

Abstract

This study focused on opportunities related to the professional growth of tourism in Indonesia at this time and in the future. The proportion of workers in the tourism sector, including the fourth largest after agriculture, manufacturing and non-manufacturing, tends to grow very fast, because tourists visiting Indonesia will increase sharply in coming years. The purpose of this study is to provide advice to the government, tourism, and educational institutions in Indonesias tourism industry together, and to support each other to improve the quality and quantity of human resources in tourism in the present and the future in Indonesia. Data and information gathered from various sources perform literature review and discussion of the need for professional projections based on existing data and information and resume discussions and depth interview with lecturer of tourism and a SWOT analysis as a qualitative analysis. This study gave recommendation that Indonesia needs to improve the quantity and quality of human resources in tourism to become the domain of educational institutions, ranging from tourism vocational high school, Academy, College, and Tourism Courses at the University. Therefore the government should seriously facilitate the tourism educational institutions to achieve quality accreditation as required.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the effect of solvency, sales growth, and institutional ownership towards tax avoidance with profitability as a moderating variable. The sample was real estate and property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2015. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method to get sample about 31 companies. The data used moderated regression analysis. The results indicate that the solvency has significant and positive effect on tax avoidance. Meanwhile, sales growth and institutional ownership do not affect tax avoidance. Then, profitability can moderate the relationship between institutional ownership and tax avoidance.

Abstract

Established in 1974 PT Sinar Sosro is the first bottled ready-to-drink tea producer in Indonesia. In order to fulfill its lovers wherever they are, the newest innovation has been launched, i.e. Teh Botol Sosro Less Sugar, which focuses on diabetics, sportsmen/athletes, and young executives as its target markets. To foster brand loyalty and control the community, PT Sinar Sosro utilizes crowd combo marketing concept, especiallycommunal activation activity that is adjusted with the current New Wave Marketing era, so PT Sinar Sosro can integrate supply and access of Teh Botol Sosro Less Sugar product. The objectives of this research are to analyze the influence of Communal Activation on Buying Decision of Teh Botol Sosro Less Sugar, and to analyze the influence of Communal Activation and Buying Decision on Brand Loyalty of Teh Botol Sosro Less Sugar. The data collection technique used was questionnaire disseminated to the members of Teh Botol Sosro Less Sugar online community, using Likert scale. While the data analysis technique used was Path Analysis. The result of Path Analysis shows the structural equation Y = 0,523 X + 0,8526 ε1 which Communal Activation significantly contributes to Buying Decision at 27,3% and Z = 0,552 X2 + 0,229 Y + 0,7141 ε2 which Communal Activation and Buying Decision simultantly and significantly contribute to Brand Loyalty at 49%.

Abstract

This research was to measure the correlation between management of performance reward systems on subordinates’ satisfaction towards the job. A survey method was utilized to collect data from subordinates who worked at the headquarters of fire and rescue departments in Malaysia. The outcomes of SmartPLS path model analysis display two important findings. First, the implementation of information delivery and performance assessment in handling performance reward systems have enhanced subordinates’ intrinsic job satisfaction, but the implementation ofinvolvement hypothesized performance reward systems has not enhanced subordinates’ intrinsic job satisfaction. Second, implementation of information delivery, involvement and performance assessment in handling performance reward systems have also enhanced subordinates’ extrinsic job satisfaction.

Abstract

Ichimoku Kinko Hyo is a technical analysis tool that can be used to predict the movement of a currency. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo has five components or indicators, they are Tenkan Sen (or Conversion Line), Kijun Sen (or Base Line), Chikou Span (or Lagging Span), Senkou Span A and Senkou Span B. This paper discusses the application of Ichimoku Kinko Hyo in predicting the movement of USD/JPY and EUR/USD. Daily and hourly chart have been used to conduct the analysis. The observation shows that Ichimoku Kinko Hyo relatively easier to be applied in daily chart. Ichimoku Kinko Hyo can give a prediction whether a currency pair will move in a trend or consolidation.
