Abstract

Bougenville Valley Resort is a tourist attraction in the Cibodas village, Lembang, West Bandung District. Bougenville Valley Resort has a tourist attraction in the form of a very beautiful valley. Despite this growth in the number of visits in the Valley Bougenville Resort has fluctuating percentage, due Bougenville Valley Resort experience landslide disasters in 2007 with a percentage decrease of -10.65% and decreased again in 2009. One of the efforts to improve and restore the number of visitors came to the Valley Bougenville Resort, is to do the revitalization of tourism products consisting of revitalization tourist attractions, revitalization amenitas and revitalization of accessibility that may affect the interest of tourists to visit a tourist destination (Nindyo Suwrano: 2008). The purpose of this study was 1) to obtain findings regarding the revitalization of the tourism product in Bougainville Valley Resort 2) To obtain findings regarding preferences visited Bougainville Valley Resort 3) In order to obtain a model of the revitalization of the tourism product of the preference visited Bougainville Valley Resort. This research is descriptive and verification, because the method used is explanatory survey method using ordinal. Teknik scale analysis used in this study is the analysis of the path (path analysis), the technique of using systematic random sampling through cross sectional method with samples taken as many as 100 visitors. The study of the hypothesis shows that the revitalization of the tourism product consists of tourist attractions, amenitas and accessibility has direct and indirect influence significantly to visit the Valley Bougenville Resort preference of 56.8%, while the remaining 43.2% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Suggestions for tourist attraction Bougenville Valley Resort is a further enhance other programs like promotion to the level of preference visited Bougainville Valley Resort better and cooperate with government and private parties.

Abstract

Bandung city is one of the cities in West Java has potential tourism that can be relied on, and one of the destination in Saung Angklung Udjo. Saung Angklung Udjo offers a package of art and cultural of West Java that attract tourist. The number of tourist visited in Saung Angklung Udjo continue to rised from 2004 until 2010. The increase in the number of tourist are most significant in 2008. Creative tourism is one of the strategy that can be used to increase visitor and continous visitor. In connection with these research conducted that creative tourism in Saung Angklung Udjo influence tourist visit decision. The purpose of this research is to find creative tourism influenced visiting decisions of Saung Angklung Udjo. Technique of sampling is saturated sampling. The method used in this research is explanatory survey by using ordinal scale. Analyze from this research used Path Analysis with a software computer tools SPSS 19.0. The result of this research found Creative Tourism influenced significantly 37,8% and the rest influence other factors. Based on the result of statictical test were obtained that Creative Spectacles, Creative Spaces, and Creative Tourism has an influence on the decision to visit. It can be conclude that creative spectacles, creative spaces, and creative tourism influence the visiting decision of Saung Angklung Udjo.

Abstract

Pangandaran beach is one tourism destination in West Java, situated in the district of Ciamis ± 92 km south of the town of Ciamis. Pangandaran beach tourism destination, the type of nature tourism which is famous for its beaches. However, a decline in the level of tourist arrivals caused by several factors: less optimal promotion by tourism destination managers Pangandaran beach, unavailability of information centers which provide services to tourists, and tsunami disaster in July 2006 which destroyed most of the existing facilities in the area of Pangandaran beach. Because it would need to hold research to increase tourist visit through marketing public relations programs implemented by the managers of Pangandaran beach tourism destination. The research problem: 1)How does an idea a marketing public relations, 2)How is the idea of the decision to visit, 3)How does a marketing public relations visiting decision. This study aims to obtain an overview of marketing public relations, to obtain a marketing public relations descriptions, of the visiting decision and the influence of marketing public relations visiting decision. Data analysis technique are used path analysis (path analysis) with a sampling technique used systematic random sampling of 100 respondents. The results showed that the marketing public relations programs have a significant influence on the decision to visit. The biggest influence of marketing public relations programs visiting decision obtained through events and the smallest effect is obtained through public service activities. As for suggestions for tourism destination managers Pangandaran beach, should be more social activities to publications tourist or private sector to participate in this social activities, and make social activities are held regularly on the agenda the manager of Pangandaran beach tourism destination.

Abstract

The impact of hotel industries which is developing the high competition of hotel industries. The level of room residential is the important thing to view that the number of the room is sold. The guest decision to stay is the most important thing to the hotel industries. With the guest decision to hotel, then the level of guest residential will increase which is the main target of hotel industries. Therefore the Jayakarta Bandung Boutique Suite Hotel Spa wants the guest decision to be enhanced. The one of effort to increase the guest decision to stay is maximize the brand performance which is do it by The Jayakarta Bandung Boutique Suite Hotel and Spa. The purpose of the study is to obtain findings the brand performance which has been done, the decision to stay in The Jayakarta Bandung Boutique Suite Hotel Spa and the influence of brand performance towards the decision to stay. Kevin L. Keller is the theory of brand performance which is used. While the theory of post-visit behavior using the theory of Kotler and Keller. The object of the study is the visitor who stay in The Jayakarta Bandung Boutique Suite Hotel Spa. This type of research is descriptive and verification, and the method used is explanatory survey stratified random sampling, hence obtained a population of 100 respondent. The data analysis technique and hypothesis test used is the path analysis (path analysis). The results show interesting findings, that the brand performace give the significant influence towards to the stay decision which consist of product, brand, reservation channel, lenght of stay,the number of room reservation and the payment method. The biggest impact of brand performance towards the stay decision is obtained from Product Reliability, Durability and Service Ability and the smallest influence is obtained from Service Effectiveness, Efficiency, And Empathy. As for suggestions for the company in improving the decision to stay at The Jayakarta Bandung Suite Boutique Hotel Spa is a brand performance through the development of a more exciting, creative, innovative, effective and efficient.

Abstract

Bandung is one of the main destinations as shopping malls tourism, such as Cihampelas Walk and Paris Van Java Mall. Cihampelas walk and Paris Van Java are not only providing places for family to do shopping, playing and culinary area. The presence of Cihampelas Walk and Paris Van Java Mall is expected to increase interest in visitors to visit the shopping malls in Bandung. But the lack of visitor’s interest to visit shopping malls in Bandung reflects a problem in shopping malls in Bandung so it needs some programs to increase visitor’s interest to visit by maximize the shopping destination strategy. This research objectives are to find out about the implemented shopping destination strategy, decision to visit, and the impact of shopping destination strategy to decision to visit and the difference of the implementation of shopping destination strategy to decision to visit in Cihampelas Walk and Paris Van Java Mall. The theory of shopping destination strategy is from Kotler and Armstrong. The research object is the visitors of Cihampelas Walk and Paris Van Java Mall. This research is using descriptive, comparative and verification research. The method is explanatory survey with stratified random sampling as sampling technique, 400 respondents (160 respondents in Cihampelas Walk and 240 respondents in Paris Van Java Mall). The data analysis technique is path analysis with SPSS 18 as the computer software. The data collection techniques are interviews, and questionnaire distribution. The finding of this research is there an impact of shopping destination strategy which consists of location, shopping venue design display layout on decision to visit. The dimension of shopping destination strategy which has the highest influence is shopping venue design and the one with the lowest influence is display layout. While the most appealing factor of decision to visit is the brand. Suggestion to these companies is to maximize its shopping destination strategy in order to increase the interest to visit shopping malls in Bandung.

Abstract

Banten is one province in Indonesia which has a variety of objects and the potential tourism. One of the tourist area is Ujung Kulon National Park. Ujung Kulon National Park is a kind of ecological tourism (ecotourism) that located in Pandeglang. This national park is very well known to foreign tourists and domestic tourists, primarily as a place of preservation of the Javan rhino (one-horned rhino and buffalo). However, tourist arrivals Ujung Kulon National Park in 2010 has decreased, therefore necessary to conduct research on aspects related to increasing the number of visits. including through programs conducted by the marketing communication manager Ujung Kulon National Park. Based on this, the researcher interested to conduct research The Influence of Marketing Communication Programs towards Visiting Decision in Ujung Kulon National Park. The problem of this study are 1). How the idea of marketing communication programs, 2). How the idea of the decision to visit, 3). How does influence marketing communication programs to the visiting decision. This study aims to obtain marketing communication description, visiting decision description and the influence of marketing communications programs to the visiting decision. The technical analysis of the data in this study is used the analysis of the path (path analysis) with a sampling technique is systematic random sampling of 100 respondents. The results of this study indicate that marketing communication programs have a significant influence on the decision to visit. Greatest effect is obtained through advertising and the smallest effect is obtained through the event and experience. This is because advertising is a means of promotion through various media such as print and electronic media that can provide more information to tourists. Suggestion for managers Ujung Kulon National Park, should further develop marketing programs through organized events and improve the quality of tourist attractions as well as provide information best time to visit the National Park Ujung Kulon.

Abstract

Hospitality industry has three classifications of the National Chain Hotel, International Hotel Chain and hotels that are managed independently. International Hotel Chain is standing in Bandung one of them is the Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn Bandung is one of the four-star hotel which has the highest actual share best among customary international chain hotel in the city of Bandung. One of the guests that must be maintained is a guest member. The effort to maintain it is to make changes or repositioning. The purpose of this study was to obtain findings on repositioning strategies undertaken, the level of trust and influence of repositioning strategies undertaken Holiday Inn Bandung guest member of the trust. Repositioning strategy used theory is Muzellec Lambkin, whereas the theory of confidence used was Doney Canon. Objects in this study was the guest of a member who stays good corporate member guest and guest of individual members. Independent variable (X) is a repositioning strategy that consists of three dimensions of brand logos, building renovation and staff performance. Dependent variable (Y), namely trust. This type of study is a descriptive verifikatif, and the method used is survey with stratified random sampling technique, the obtained sample size of 100 respondents to the division of 56 respondents for this type of corporate members and 44 guests respondents for this type of individual member guest. Techniques of data analysis and hypothesis test used is multiple regression. The results showed that the repositioning strategy did have an influence on trust. Dimensional result greatest value of the brand logo of amounting to 5.742, then the second highest value obtained through the staff performance of 5.363, while the building renovation is considered guest members have no influence because the guest member has not felt comfortable and familiar with the appearance and location of new facilities.
