Abstract

Dalam rangka mengetahui bagaimana pembinaan karakter religius siswa melalui program pembiasaan di lingkungan sekolah. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif dengan metode studi deskriptif. Hasilnya adalah program pembiasaan di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung merupakan program yang bertujuan untuk membina karakter religius siswa. Hal ini berdasarkan kegiatan-kegiatan berbasis religius yang dilaksanakan setiap hari, diantaranya membaca shalawat, dzikir bersama, membaca asmaul husna, shalat dhuha, doa bersama, shalat jumat di sekolah, serta keputrian yang diisi dengan kegiatan tausiyah, pembinaan kerohanian dan sharing pendapat.

Abstract

Berdasar latar belakang pada pengamatan di kelas VII-G selama pembelajaran PKn. Ditemukan bahwa siswa memiliki motivasi belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas VII-G SMP Negeri 40 Bandung dengan Model pembelajaran probing–prompting. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 40 Bandung dengan partisipan penelitian guru dan siswa kelas VII-G SMPN 40 Bandung. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, studi kepustakaan, catatan lapangan dengan teknik pengolahan/analisis data menggunakan teknik data triangulasi yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, conclusion/verifikasi (kesimpulan). Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian dengan model probing-prompting selama tiga pertemuan/siklus menunjukkan peningkatan pada kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, siklus 1 24,2% “kurang”, siklus II 34,9% “kurang” dan siklus III 60,8% “cukup”. Model Probing-Prompting tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis siswa tetapi membantu siswa untuk meluaskan semua pertanyaan, menjabarkan pengetahuan yang baru, mampu membantu memotivasi belajar lebih baik.

Abstract

Civic education right now is not about prepare young generation to became good citizen. Civic education must also prepare young generation to become active as global citizen. This condition is effect of the world that interconnected in every area of life. So the young generation must be preparing for this challenge. This study is using qualitative approach with case studies method. The result of this study is showing that student at University Pasundan Bandung has knowledge to became global citizen. But their skill has not shown an attitude as a global citizen.

Abstract

This study originated from the researchers’ anxiety over the weakening of local culture. The religious aspect became the main focus because in reality Indonesian society religiousness always transforms from primitive belief into faith in religion. The case in this study is the transformation of religious values as the local wisdom in Panji society, and this is done by looking at the religion values in local culture of Panji and as such it becomes ethnopedagogy review in learning. The aim of the study is to know how the transformation of religion values as local wisdom in Panji society. The method used in this study is ethnography with qualitative approach. Data is collected via observation, interview, and documentation. Data is analyzed by reducing it first, then it is reviewed and conclusion is deducted. The result concludes that Panji society understands religious values as local wisdom through the system called as Nuju Jerami. The faith in God in Panji society has not yet been implemented in formal education, though the religious values in Nuju Jerami content actually is possible to be integrated into formal lesson. The pull and push happened when religion and culture become an integrated part. It is hoped that based on the result of this research, these local wisdom values can be taught as local content in form of formal lesson in schools, be it primary school or secondary school.Keyword: Transformation, Religious, Local Wisdom, Panji society

Abstract

This study in the background backs after seeing class IX-J at SMPN 1 Cicalengka, which is still a lack of creative thinking abilities of students in the class, demonstrated by at least courage learners in conveying new ideas, because students often follow the idea of learners who are considered more intelligent, and teachers often use the lecture method of teaching. The method used in this research is a classroom action research. instruments used were interviews, observations, questionnaires, field notes, and documentation, while the findings of this research are: 1) Planning learning civics by using a model of discovery learning is to prepare lesson plans, and grouping learners 2) Implementation of learning civics by using a model of discovery learning to do as much three cycles, where teachers prepare the cases related to the material, then the teacher gives time for each group to perform analysis on the case, and each group presents alternative answers and ideas of the ideas of the group 3) Excellence model of discoery learning can enhance the creative thinking of learners 4 ) constraints experienced is the time required to implement the model discoery learning quite a lot, 5) the efforts that optimize the role of the teacher as a facilitator in the learning process.Key words: Model Discovery Learning, Creative Thinking, Civics Education.
