Abstract

The success of a learning process is greatly determined by teacher’s ability in delivering the learning material. However, to be able to deliverlearning material well, a teacher must have the creativity, innovation and teaching skills in applying a learning model.Therefore, any efforts in innovating teaching model undertaken by teachers need to be improved.One of the ways is through the use of Jerat Palang model learning innovation. Jerat Palang an innovative learning which aims at making students actively involved and dare to express opinions without diminishing the seriousness of the learning in class. A qualitative approach is used in this research by using a study case method. The techniques of data collection are interview, observation, documentation, literature review, and field notes. The result of the research reveals that: 1) The design of a Jerat Palang model learning comprises syllabus and lesson plan; 2) In applying Jerat Palang learning model:(a) the teacher divides the class into 3 groups, (b) the teacher explains subject materials, (c) the groups are discussing and question-answer session, (d) The groups’ representative fillsa simulation board, (e) the teacher ranks the fastest and the most accurate group, (f) the fastest and the most precisegroup play Jerat Palang, (g) two members of the winning group become the Palang, (h) students walk past the crossbar while singing, (i) whenever the whistle is blown, students are trappedin the Palang and take the question on the material tree, then answer it, (j) if the student can answer the question from the material tree, he should hand the participation’s card and will earn points. 3) The success of Jerat Palang learning model in civics education subject can be seen from the result of the learning process.4) Obstacles faced are (a) the limitation of time, (b) students’ motivation, (c) students’ lack of experience using Jerat Palang model, (d) students’ lack of understanding on the material, (e) school’s facilities that are inadequate, (f) classroom that are not supporting. 5) Attempts to overcome the obstacles include:: (a) teachers have to plan the time efficiently, (b) teachers have to motivate smartly,(c) students are given explanation on the previous meeting,(d) learning material should be relevance to the students’ need, (e) teachers’ role in creating the atmosphere of the class is the main factor that should be done, (f) teachers should be able to handle the class, because classroom is an environment that needs to be organized.Keywords: learning model innovation, learning model design, expressing opinions, civics education.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesadaran hukum pemilik bangunan di sempadan sungai agar menjadi warga negara yang baik. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, studi dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Tingkat kesadaran hukum yang rendah ditunjukan oleh pemilik bangunan; (2) Upaya dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran hukum pendiri bangunan melalui sosialisasi produk hukum dan melakukan pendekatan kepada pemilik bangunan agar memahami larangan untuk mendirikan bangunan di Sempadan Sungai; (3) Hambatan yang ditemui oleh pihak pemerintah ditimbulkan dari kesadaran hukum dan sikap mental pemilik bangunan tidak mengindahkan larangan mendirikan bangunan; (4) Upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah dengan meningkatkan kesadadaran hukum dilakukan dengan memberikan teguran kembali, lebih meningkatkan sosialisasi dan melakukan langkah preventif yaitu membuat taman di kawasan sempadan sungai tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kebijakan baru dari pemerintahan Joko Widodo dan Jusuf Kalla serta Undang-Undang baru mengenai Desa pada tahun 2014. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kebijakan Dana Desa diimplementasikan di desa Sindangpala dalam melaksanakan otonomi desa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, catatan lapangan dan studi dokumentasi. Implementasi kebijakan Dana Desa di Desa Sindangpala telah dilaksanakan dengan baik walaupun masih dijumpai adanya beberapa kendala. Namun kendala tersebut dapat diatasi dengan berbagai solusi penyelesaian. Implementasi kebijakan Dana Desa di Desa Sindangpala dapat memperjelas pelaksanaan otonomi desa yang ditinjau dari Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk merumuskan konteks pendidikan dasar dan menengah Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan pada tahun 2003 sampai dengan 2012 hanya dikenal satu mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yang secara subtantif akademik dan pedagogik mengintegrasikan subtansi nilai dan moral Pancasila dengan subtansi kewarganegaraan. Namun mulai tahun 2013 untuk mengakomodasikan proses pencerdasan kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara dalam arti utuh dan luas, maka mata pelajaran PKn disesuaikan menjadi PPKn. Setelah melakukan studi literatur, penulis menemukan bahwa, bahwa Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan sebagai bagian dari mata pelajaran di persekolahan dalam jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan tujuan pendidikan kewarganegaraan berlandaskan kepada pembanguan sumber daya manusia yang humanis dan holistik, serta berkarakter Pancasila. Berdasarkan hasil yang diuraikan, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan proses belajar dan pembelajaran untuk membangun kompetensi peserta didik secara holistik dengan tujuan untuk tercapai penguasaan kompetensi peserta didik secara elektis yang harmonis antara internalisasi muatan peserta didik secara elektis yang harmonis antara internalisasi muatan nilai/moral (tradisi perenialisme), penguasaan subtansi (tradisi essensialisme) dan kemaslahatannya bagi lingkungan (tradisi rekonstruksionisme), Penerapan dimensi pendidikan kewarganegaraan sebagai program pendidikan melalui pendekatan pendidikan afektif, pendekatan pendidikan perkembangan nilai dan moral di sekolah dasar kelas rendah dapat diterapkan melalui modelling, model directif dan model klarifikasi nilai.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe about the former student character through Civic Education Learning Model based Portfolio. This research was used a Classroom Action Research. Throughout a purposive approach, this research was designed in a qualitative research. The result of research was indicate that student supporting and teacher better portfolio  model. An piquancy from the model namely the student can present positive character in the form of independence character, responsibility, caring to humanity, each other mengahargai one with other; dissimilar. Pursuant to above result, concluded by that teacher very support positive for learning by portofolio. For a while sided by a student, very enthusiastic and spirit of in applying the model.
