Abstract

Beginning from the monetary crisis of Bath-Thailand, then gradually to spread tosouth-east Asia Countries and finally has been Indonesia monetary crisis started the thirdweek in July 1997. Monetary crisis this time to indicate that Indonesia economics more andmore open and integrated with world economics. Really Indonesia to face three kind crisisi.e.: (1) Exchange rate crisis where depreciation of rupiah value toward dollars, (2) foreigndebt crisis in big quantity, which made by private and government, and (3) probably soinfected by diminishing expectation of the community toward various of economics andfinancial institutionsTo measure the impact of monetary crisis toward quantitatively economics can be notacted now yet. What that can be acted is to expect its impacts toward economics, especially toagriculture or agribusiness sectors. For need of this research-collected macroeconomics datain the last time that sources from secondary data, processed and analyzed. Because thisresearch especially to expect the impact of monetary crisis toward agriculture or agribusinesssectors, so the agriculture data collected, processed and analyzed detailer.The result of analysis to indicate that monetary crisis in Indonesia that indicated by hasbeen weak of rupiah value to dollars, has impact toward agriculture or agribusiness sectors.Yet, impact intensity depend on: (1) sources of raw material (domestic or foreign), (2)structure of output marketing for domestic or international, and (3) structure of capital, equityand firm portfolio of agribusiness mentioned. Viewed from costly structure and return, soportion of import of input and export of output in agriculture sector significantly to influencetoward performance of agriculture or agribusiness sectors.For the agriculture or agribusiness firms that using domestic raw material in theirsproduction process, monetary crisis maybe not influence so big, if mostly theirs outputexported, this crisis will positive impact. Yet, if agriculture or agribusiness firms using rawmaterial from foreign in its production process (example cotton), monetary crisis has influencetoward costs structure (increase the cost of input and output per unit) to be bigger. If theirsoutput market for domestic, so will be gloomier. In this condition, monetary crisis has negativeinfluence toward performance of agribusiness mentioned.Result of the monetary crisis, need be acted a reevaluation to measure rate of return(ROI) investment in agriculture sector. In the last time ROR in agriculture sector only range15 percent. Not impossible if this monetary crisis has made the populace agriculture is notinteresting for investor.

Abstract

One of effort to be company able to face the emulation is by creating and maintaining customer especiallyloyal customer because they represent the opportunity get the new customer and the end recurring purchasingwill be able to improve the sale and able to maintain the position which either in marketing.This research aim to know the factors determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro andvariable deputizing every factor determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro. This Researchstarted from date of 23 February 2005 up to 21 March 2005. This Research location selected by purposive inDenpasar town. Analysis used in this research as factor analysis that analysis which can be used to tracesome factor from a number indicator or variable determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro.Result of analysis indicate that the factors determining customer loyalty to brand of Teh Botol Sosro thereis 7 factor, that is performance, features, conformance to specification, reliability/durability, serviceability,perceived quality, and esthetics. While variable deputizing every factor determining customer loyalty tobrand of Teh Botol Sosro there is 15 variable, that is product hygiene, as according to food, and productbenefit deputizing performance factor; company brand, feel the product, and size measure product deputizingfeatures factor; security consume and quality of packaging deputizing conformance to specification factor;product perfection to consumer and product resilience to all kinds of weather deputizing reliability/durabilityfactor; amenity obtain the product deputizing service factor; product price and company promotiondeputizing perceived quality factor; aroma of product and product color deputizing esthetics factor.Offer suggestion at company that is company can more selective again in useful life tidiness so thattidiness to consumer always good in a condition. Company also can make the sign of a period to going intoeffect bigger so that customer can know clearly what product which they buy still be competent or not to beconsumed. Company reputation have to be able defended by remain to yield the quality product so that willgenerate belief in society.

Abstract

Maize is the one important cereal crop after rice, for the last decade domesticdemand for maize was steadily increasing. This study is aimed to evaluate thedevelopment of maize production for the last decade, and the opportunity ofmaize production development in future. Based on CBS data, during the lastdecade (1990 – 2000) there was a big opportunity to develop maize productionin the future, through intensification or extensification. Intensification, can bemet by minimize yield gap between farm’s yield and potential yield byintroducing of improve technology, and use of high yield variety. Extensificationcan be achieved by increasing cropping index through implementation propercropping pattern especially on irrigated land, and in the upland condition byimplementing intercropping technique. Extensification also can be done byutilizing swampy area and upland area, where are available in outer of Javaisland.

Abstract

Incorporation of Gender Perspective in Agricultural Machinery Engineering. Development isbasically gender neutral. However, gender bias often occurs in the developmentimplementation and it leads to gender inequity and gender inequality. This implies that onlyone gender side (mostly men) accesses and takes a part in the various development programs,including agricultural development. In addition, they also control and benefit its output andoutcomes. In this reform era, agricultural sector still plays an important role in the Indonesia’seconomy. Agribusiness and smallholders would be successful if all discrimination forms foragribusiness agent’s empowerment is eradicated and market mechanism fairness could beserved. Due to cultural bias existence, roles of women in economic aspects are often takenfor granted. Therefore, dissemination of Republic Indonesia’s Act No 7/1984 especially inthe articles 11 and 14 to all stakeholders responsible for agricultural developmentimplementation in various sectors at rural areas is required so that that woman would benefitfrom labor saving technology skill. Social and institutional constraints should be overcome, inorder that woman farmers needs skill on operating and repairing simple agriculturalmachineries to lighten they daily drudgery.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Ethics is a branch of philosophy related with kindliness or rightness or morality of behavior of human being. In this understanding ethics interpreted as rules which cannot be impinged from behavior which accepted by society as well or bad. While determination of good and bad is a problem always change. Ethics of business is standards of value becoming reference or guidance of manager and whole employees in decision making and operate business which ethics. Ethics paradigm and business is world differ its time has come altered to become ethics paradigm related to business or synergy between ethics and profit. Exactly in tight competition era, company reputation which good and based on by business ethics is an advantage competitive which difficult to be imitated. Therefore, ethics behavior is needed to reach long-range success in a business. Keywords: Ethics, Business, Moral ABSTRAK Etika adalah suatu cabang dari filosofi yang berkaitan dengan ”kebaikan (rightness)” atau moralitas (kesusilaan) dari perilaku manusia. Dalam pengertian ini etika diartikan sebagai aturan-aturan yang tidak dapat dilanggar dari perilaku yang diterima masyarakat sebagai baik atau buruk. Sedangkan Penentuan baik dan buruk adalah suatu masalah selalu berubah. Etika bisnis adalah standar-standar nilai yang menjadi pedoman atau acuan manajer dan segenap karyawan dalam pengambilan keputusan dan mengoperasikan bisnis yang etik. Paradigma etika dan bisnis adalah dunia yang berbeda sudah saatnya dirubah menjadi paradigma etika terkait dengan bisnis atau mensinergikan antara etika dengan laba. Justru di era kompetisi yang ketat ini, reputasi perusahaan yang baik yang dilandasi oleh etika bisnis merupakan sebuah competitive advantage yang sulit ditiru. Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) to analyze factors effecting labor marketperformance; 2) to analyze factors effecting migration in Indonesia. The research used poolingdata and be analyzed using simultaneous equation with 2 SLS technique. The result showed thatlabor force is influenced by productive-age population in both urban and rural area. In ruralarea, rural-urban migration also influenced labor force. Demand for labor is influenced by GrossDomestic Product, Labor Intensive Program in urban area, and Infrastructure DevelopmentProgram for Developing Village in rural area. Labor productivity is influenced by sectoral realwage, calorie consumption and Social Safety Net Program for health sector. Sectoral real wageis influenced by Sectoral Minimum Wage and rate of inflation. The result also showed thatsectoral real wage is not the important factor on labor market in Indonesia economic crisis.
