Abstract

Online training is an innovation in the field of education to answer the challenges of the presence of more varied learning methods even without having to meet in person. Some experts argue that online learning (full through the network) has some advantages obtained but there are also some problems in its implementation and also in achieving the objectives of the training that still require further research. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the implementation of online training conducted by BBPP Batangkaluku. The method used is to use a survey method in the form of online questionnaires for 235 alumni participants of online training organized by BBPP Batangkaluku, but obtained 214 respondents who filled out this questionnaire. Data obtained through the filling of questions by respondents in the form of google form. The results showed that 77.10% of respondents considered that inadequate internet network is a problem in the implementation of online training. 94.86% of respondents felt that they had gained an increased understanding of the substance of the training material. 78.50% did not feel a touch of attitude change, and 80.84% of respondents felt unable to practicalally implement the substance of learning obtained in online training.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period, where a teenager grows towards adulthood. What is meant by maturity is maturity in terms of emotions, ways of thinking and behaving. Currently, many things affect adolescent adolescence apart from the environment, as well as technological developments that make adolescents more negligent and forget about the tasks that have to be undertaken by adolescents. Technological developments have a very big influence on today's adolescents, apart from making them neglectful in carrying out their duties it also makes them neglectful in maintaining their health, especially physical health, where currently teenagers only focus on laptops and smartphones, while for nutrition they forget, so many teenagers today are experiencing malnutrition. This study aims to design an expert system that can help detect malnutrition in adolescents using the forward chaining method. This research is expected to help parents in tracking malnutrition in their teenagers.

Abstract

We all know that Health is important and expensive, to maintain the health of our bodies we need to take care of the organ in our body one of them is the kidney. The kidneys function to filter and remove toxins in the blood. There are still many people who don't care about their kidney health because most people do not have any symptoms until kidney disease enters an advanced stage. The medical world is increasingly using computers to assist diagnosis for prevention and treatment of a disease. One of them is the utilization of an expert system. This study aims to create an expert system that will be used to independently diagnose kidney disease without having to go to the hospital. and also aims to avoid contact with others during a pandemic.

Abstract

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, many schools are applying an online learning activity at home. Because the students are learning at home, the teacher must bring the online exercise or something like that to measure the student’s knowledge. Google Forms, Microsoft Office Forms, Kahoot, and Quizizz can provide online quizzes, but these platforms have their own value point. This study is comparing and mapping the value points of these online quizzes’ platforms. The three main focuses in the comparison, are the variety of questions that can be displayed, the ease of understanding and processing the score of the quiz results, and the limitations in taking the quiz, such as when to do it and the duration of the quiz. Also, this study will give the recommendation of the best platform depending on your needs. Based on the comparison, Google Forms is the most featured platform for various purposes. But if you want to provide a new and enjoyable learning experience for your students, we recommend that you use the Kahoot platform. Keywords: Forms, Google, Kahoot, Microsoft, Quizizz

Abstract

Forest fires are a global problem that often occurs in Indonesia, especially during the dry season. One indication of forest fires is the occurrence of hotspots. Monitoring of hotspots is part of the effort to make early warnings of the dangers of forest fires. The island of Kalimantan is an island where most of the land consists of peatlands and is prone to hotspots. The hot, dry season due to sunlight and the lack of rainfall can make peatlands a fire-prone area. This study uses the Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression model to predict the number of hotspots on peatlands by considering climatic factors, namely sun exposure and rainfall. This research was conducted in four square areas (Area-1, Area-2, Area-3, Area-4) with the Tjilik Riwut Meteorological Station as the center point. The study uses hotspot monitoring data from the Terra Satellite owned by NASA (the National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and climate data in the form of data on sun exposure and rainfall from the BMKG (Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency). The results show that the Zero-Inflated Poisson Regression model can model the four observed areas quite well with an RMSE of 12.69 in Area-1, Area-2 with an RMSE value of 10.05, RMSE of 11.53 in Area-3, and finally Area-4 with an RMSE value of 16.40.

Abstract

Tracer study sebagai metode untuk mendapat umpan balik dari alumni perguruan tinggi saat ini masih memiliki berbagai masalah dari sisi pelaksanaan. Masalah pelaksanaan tracer study umumnya berupa keterbatasan sumber daya, format survei dan cara pelaksanaannya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, teknologi informasi mulai dimanfaatkan sebagai solusi. Namun demikian, penelitian terkait tracer study saat ini masih sangat berfokus pada pengumpulan data alumni saja, sedangkan penelitian terkait pembuatan survei untuk mengetahui situasi dan kompetensi alumni didunia kerja masih sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengajukan sistem survei tracer study berbasis web dengan arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC) sebagai solusi. Sistem dikembangkan dengan spesifikasi memiliki dua modul utama yaitu modul survei alumni dan modul staf dan admin. Berdasarkan pengujian dan evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing, sistem yang diajukan berhasil memperloleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 90.9% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem yang diajukan pada penelitian ini dapat bekerja dengan baik untuk digunakan dalam melalukan survei tracer study alumni.

Abstract

Information and communication technology (ICT) has advantages over traditional methods in effectiveness and efficiency. Mastering ICT is one of the most important competencies possessed by educators. The purpose of this research is to study how the use of "information and communication technology" (ICT) is used as the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at MI Tarbiyatul Athfal, as well as the supporting and inhibiting components of the use of ICT in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum. This is a “qualitative descriptive” research project. . Research data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. According to the findings of this study, ICT was used in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at MI Tarbiyatul Athfal by providing ICT facilities to assist the process of “learning planning, learning implementation, and assessment of learning outcomes”. ICT also supports instructors in the “learning process”, enabling learning materials to be more “interesting, innovative, and active” to be presented. In addition, the use of ICT has helped achieve the objectives of the 2013 curriculum. Budget allocation policies for the procurement of ICT facilities, as well as the presence of Wi-Fi network routers that spread throughout the school buildings, are supporting aspects. Physical and non-physical factors are obstacles to the use of ICT in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

Google Classroom merupakan aplikasi opensource dari Google yang dapat digunakan untuk sistem pembelajaran atau bisa disebut sebagai e-learning. Aplikasi ini termasuk aplikasi yang baru dan masih sedikit yang menggunakannya dalam sistem pembelajaran di sekolah-sekolah khususnya di SMK Negeri 3 Tenggarong. Di SMK Negeri 3 Tenggarong aplikasi ini tergolong baru digunakan, maka dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengukuran usability (kebergunaan) untuk mengetahui tingkat kebergunaan dari aplikasi ini. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan tool USE questionnaire dengan menyebar angket kepada responden. Hasil angket dilakukan pengukuran dengan menggunakan skala likert. Dari hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas, dapat disimpulkan kuisioner valid dan reliabel. Dari hasil pengukuran dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi google classroom yang digunakan sebagai e-learning di Sekolah SMK Negeri 3 Tenggarong  memiliki nilai usability yang baik.

Abstract

The Railway network has been the backbone of many cities around the world. Solving traffic congestion problems from excessive use of private vehicles. High mobility is one of the traits in modern society and most governments are obligated to provide high standard public services. But having a railway operator does not come at a cheap price, yet it becomes a burden when it wrongly manages. Railway operators as public transportation companies should have strategic planning on how to be independent financially and profitable. The company should adopt technology to create operational efficiency, lean organization structure and unfolded possibilities of getting multiple revenue streams. Thereby Enterprise Architecture (EA) is the remedy, a foremost framework which connects business processes, information systems, and information technology in the easiest way to digest. The author would like to propose an EA concept using TOGAF ADM phases for railway operators based on literature study. The purpose of this paper is to give insight and supposedly help any railway operators company get a better perspective on the use of EA.

Abstract

This study aims to design an information system for recording inventory of goods (SIPIB) at the district disaster management agency. Sorong Selatan is web-based using the Dynamic Systems Development Method (DSDM), which is expected to make it easier for employees to make inventory reports. The application of the Dynamic System Development Method which is expected to facilitate the design of an information system for recording inventory at the BPBD Kab. South Sorong. Data obtained through research in the form of interviews, documentation and literature research. This application uses HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL as data storage services. The results of this study indicate that SIPIB can be used properly so that the inventory management process is more effective and efficient. Tests carried out in the form of Black Box testing by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents, namely BPBD office employees and residents of South Sorong Regency who will use this system, resulting in a test value of 64.01%. The system is working fine..
