Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar kekuatan tarik dan kekuatan bending komposit berpenguat serat kulit kayu waru (Hibiscus Tiliaceus) bermatriks polyester dengan perlakuan alkali dan variasi orientasi arah serat sehingga didapatkan pemanfaatan yang tepat terhadap properties kekuatannya. Diharapkan juga material komposit ini dapat menggantikan serat gelas (fiberglass) yang harganya mahal sebagai material penguat pada proses pembuatan lambung atau badan kapal.Metode yang dilakukan yaitu melakukan alkalisasi serat kulit waru dengan larutan NaOH 5% selama 2 jam. Dalam pembuatan spesimen uji dilakukan variasi pengujian komposit menggunakan jumlah enam layer serat dan arah orientasi sudut serat yaitu 0o/0o /45o/-45o/0o /0o ; 0o /45o/0o/0o/-45/0o; 0o /45o/0o/-45o/0o /0o. Benda uji dibuat dengan cara hand lay up  dan dengan penekanan secara manual menggunakan cetakan dan penekan. Matrik yang digunakan untuk mengikat serat kulit waru menggunakan resin  polyester tipe 157  BTQN dan katalis MEKPO dengan konsentrasi 1%. Foto patahan spesimen diamati dengan pengamatan foto makro. Sifat mekanis yang didapatkan adalah dari pengujian tarik dan pengujian bending.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh perlakuan alkali NaOH 5% terhadap kekuatan tarik dan kekuatan bending. Spesimen komposit yang diperkuat serat kulit waru dengan perlakuan NaOH 5% selama 2 jam harga kekuatan tariknya hampir sama antara arah sudut  serat 0o/0o /45o/-45o/0o /0o yaitu 86,14 N/mm2  ; 0o /45o/0o/0o/-45/0o yaitu 86,46 N/mm2; dan  0o /45o/0o/-45o/0o /0o yaitu  86,78 N/mm2. harga kekuatan tarik terendah tanpa perlakuan alkali adalah 69,13 N/mm2 pada arah orientasi serat 0o/0o /45o/-45o/0o /0o. Harga kekuatan bending maksimal yang didapatkan adalah 189,78 N/mm2 pada arah orientasi sudut serat 0o/0o /45o/-45o/0o /0o dengan perlakuan alkali NaOH 5%. Hasil kekuatan bending terendah terdapat pada arah orientasi sudut serat 0o /45o/0o/0o/-45/0o tanpa perlakuan alkali sebesar 144,43 N/mm2.

Abstract

This Research aims to determine the amounts generated in the gas liquefactiongas process rice husk with lowcoal quality at temperatures at 500 ° C and to know the speed of the updraft gasification process rice husk and the low coal quality of Bentonite catalyst. This research uses updraft type gasification where the gas that can be generated from the gasifer section will flow into the flowmeter and will be accommodated in the urine bag. In this study obtained syngas results on the process of updraft rice husk gasification and low quality coal berkatalis bentonit. Most Syngas produce on sample A SP 200 gr: BB 0 gr: B 100 gr equal to 36,72L. In sample B 180gr: 20gram: 100gr at 31,47L. In the sample C 140gr: 60gr: 100gr At 27.3L. and the lowest volume of syngas produced on the D sample 100gr: 100gr: 100gr at 24.28L. The heating rate that can be used in the gas filtration process and the low quality coal catalyzed bentonite is obtained at the highest heating rate in sample A 200gr: 0gr: 100gr at 16.89 ° C / min. In sample B 180gr: 20gr: 100gr at 15.25 ° C / min. In sample C 140gram: 60 grams: 100 grams of 13.13 ° C / min The lowest heating rate was obtained in D 100gr: 100gr: 100gr at 11.26 ° C / min.

Abstract

Penelitian memproyeksikan penduduk Kota Banjarmasin dan kebutuhan air Kota Banjarmasin dari tahun 2014 hingga 20 tahun ke depan lalu dibandingkan kapasitas intake yang ada memenuhi kebutuhan di tahun mendatang.Dalam memproyeksikan pertumbuhan penduduk Kota Banjarmasin menggunakan 5 macam metode, yaitu metode aritmatika, metode geometrik, metode regresi linier, metode eksponensial dan metode logaritmik. Metode yang paling tepat untuk memproyeksikan pertumbuhan penduduk yaitu yang mempunyai nilai standar deviasi yang paling rendah dan nilai korelasi yang paling mendekati 1. Kebutuhan air di hitung dengan faktor kebutuhan air rata – rata, faktor kebutuhan air hari maksimum, dan kebutuhan air jam puncak. Membandingkan kapasitas intake yang ada dengan proyeksi kebutuhan air.Proyeksi penduduk Kota Banjarmasin menggunakan metode geometrik karena mempunyai nilai standar deviasi paling rendah dari metode yang lain dan nilai korelasi yang mendekati 1. Kapasitas intake yang dimiliki PDAM Bandarmasih cukup untuk mencakupi proyeksi kebutuhan air bersih Kota Banjarmasin hingga tahun 2033, namun kapasitas intake masih belum mampu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih jam puncak

Abstract

Situ Gintung disaster that occurred on March 27, 2009 had caused a lot of losses. Thus, flood control as one of  the mitigation  to be important in order to manage flooding in the catchment  upstream  at Situ Gintung. Disaster-prone  areas is Cirendeu Village, and Ciputat Timur. Lack of hydrological information which often leads  to  uncertainty  inflow  in Situ  Gintung  catchment  area,  so the  integration  system  between  real-time hydrological information to be runoff model needs to be developed.Simulation development starts with giving input in real-time rainfall data generated from Automatic Rainfall Recorced at Situ Gintung (x: -6.30023, y: 106.76424). Data was sent by hydrological's  station attendant to server room using Short Message Service (SMS). Furthermore, data that was received will be simulated by system directly to get flood forecasting calculation based on the catchment area of Gintung.The results of these simulations provide time information (t) and peak discharge (Q) inflow flood hydrograph directly  and earlier. Integration  between Automatic  Rainfall Recorced  at Situ Gintung and Rainfall-Runoff model using HEC-HMS  can provide   flood hydrograph  early. So that the peak water discharge  and water level information can be informed earlier and as a tools for the local government for the next flood events prior to take decision earlier. Keywords: Situ Gintung, realtime, Automatic Rainfall Recorced, Rainfall-Runoff model, HEC-HMS.

Town of Banjarmasin passed by many great rivers and small have very big potency to be developed on the other side facing problems in urban design which not yet been managed as town base on river potency. Intention of this research is to know influence of pattern architectural settlement of area related to regulation of water resources management at river borderThe aim of this research is special attention at river border society characteristic, settlement pattern and water resources at river side. Besides development of river border area destined as society interaction center or place in this time, need is also thought of by how development of have continuation, hence needed more comprehensive study to dot center development of river border and can be made reference for local government in determining wisdom development of better river border area.

Abstract

This study directly measure the quality of small contractors primarily improve the ability of small contractors in project management. Quality contractors in the implementation of the project can be seen that the performance has been achieved in implementing the project contractor. Analysis of performance measurement is done by looking at what has been done in accordance with the scope of the contractor and the quality preset with the number of resources that have been used.The method used in this research is to analyze the performance of executing the qualifications of the contractor at the Department of Public Works Palangkaraya. Background qualified contractor also has a close connection with financial, Human-resources, equipment and experience of the company that created the data in the table is the result of the questionnaire. Data analysis technique is used to measure the relative correlation of each factor research (performance execution) with the classification of contractors, so it can be categorized based on the level of relationship resulting correlation coefficient.The results showed that the correlation coefficient with the category of relationship factors Very Tinggidihasilkan Financial settings (Cash Flow) the Contractor Qualifications, that is equal to 0.810. High correlation coefficients with the category resulting from the relationship between achievement of objective (0.759), Order Administration factor (0.754),, factors Coordination and Integration (0.596), and the factor of Control Engineering Construction (.663) with Contractor Qualification. While the correlation coefficient with the Medium category resulting from the relationship factor Implementation Method (0.540), Communications factor (0.403), Coordination and Integration factor (0.596), and the factor of Security and Safety (0,579). Abstract

Behavior and flexural strength of reinforced concrete with medium concentration is influenced by several factors such as the dimensions, shape the beam section, the number and arrangement of reinforcement bending, compression reinforcement, stretch ratio (a/d) and the properties of concrete and steel.The construction perpetrators must understand the impact of the ratio b/h against a concrete beam flexural strength and deformation so that the construction can obtain optimal results. The methodology used in this research is the creation of concrete beams with varying ratios b / h The ratio b / h is 1; 1.25and 1.5. Using concrete (fc ') 26.73 Mpa, plain steel 6 mm diameter is used for begel, diameter 8 is used to reinforce the attraction and a diameter of 10 are used as reinforcement press.The results show that changes in beam width ratio> 1.25 specimens apparently can not bear the burden of making that happen more dominant withstand tensile reinforcement. And from a comparison test with a ratio of 1: 1.25: 1.5 was the optimal ratio of the bending beam is 1.25.

Abstract

This research focused on the effect of leachate from municipal waste disposal are (WDA) on the chemical constituents of the clay liner with varies water content. In this research, leachate was taken from Sukolilo WDA and clay for clay liner was taken from Karang Pilang, Surabaya. Clay was compacted with modified Proctor tests. From each of them, samples were prepared at different water content, those are; at optimum water content (wc opt), at wc<wc opt, and at wc>wcopt. Falling head test using 0,005N CaSO4 was carried out. The k value was determined when the hydraulic conductivity was constant. Afterwards, the liquid was replaced with the leachate. Chemical constituents of clay liner were obserbed before and after test. The results show that most of the chemical constituents of clay liner, which permeated by leachate, increase corresponding to the dominant constituent of the leachate. This change is influenced by water content of the clay liner.

Abstract

Proses pengadaan bangunan secara tradisional (tradisional building procurement system) terdiri dari tahap pelelangan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi.  Setiap tahapan tersebut adalah berupa tindakan manajerial yang memerlukan banyak perhitungan, perencanaan dan pertimbangan.  Para pengembang perangkat lunak membuat bermacam-macam perangkat lunak agar dapat membantu mempermudah dan mempercepat setiap kegiatan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari sejauh mana kontraktor-kontraktor di Banjarmasin memanfaatkan perangkat lunak manajemen kontruksi dalam menjalankan bisnis kontruksi yang kemudian dihubungkan dengan kinerja mereka.Penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu tahap studi literatur, interview pada kontraktor tentang komputerisasi perusahaan, pengumpulan data tentang kinerja setiap kontraktor, analisis data dan pengambilan kesimpulan.Beberapa hal yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian ini adalah :Jumlah komputer yang dipakai sedikit (rata-rata 3,1 unit/kontraktor)Jenis paket yang dipakai adalah jenis yang umum seperti word, Excel dan Lotus,Sedikit sekali kontraktor yang memakai komputer untuk menggambar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of composition of mass fraction between filler and matrix to mechanical strength of composite material utilizing fibers fiber (arenga pinnata) as filler with polyester resin matrix, composition of fiber fraction mass and polyester resin is 30%:70%, 40%: 60% and 50%: 50% with fiber angle orientation: 0; 0; 0; 0, using the Hand Lay Up making composite methode. Impact test is done with ASTM D5942-96 standard and Tensile Testing is done with ASTM D638-03 standard. Impact test results show that all composition of mass fraction have value Energy impact above Energy impact Cover Body Motorcycle Brand X used as comparative material, 50%: 50% mass fraction composition yield the highest impact energy value equal to 198,75 Joule / cm2. Tensile Test showed the composition of mass fraction 50%: 50% yield value of tensile strength equal to 27,09 MPa is the value of tensile strength most closely to value of tensile strength of comparative material of 30,24 MPa, Tensile Test also shows all composition of mass fraction have the percentage of length increase above the percentage of comparative material, the composition of 50%: 50% mass fraction yields the highest percentage of 4.02%. This research concludes that fiber composite material (arenga pinnata) with 50%: 50% mass fraction composition is feasible to be used as an alternative material Cover Body Motorcycles.
