Abstract

Besaran debit banjir akhir-akhir ini mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan. Peristiwa ini melatarbelakangi adanya penelitian tentang peningkatan debit banjir yang terjadi dengan perubahan tata guna lahan dengan menganalisa nilai curve number tahun 2006 dan 2010. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan membandingkan nilai puncak hidrograf satuan terukur di stasiun Badran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, perubahan tata guna lahan DAS Progo dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai curve number komposit pada kondisi basah yaitu pada tahun 2006 sebesar 83,5 menjadi 86,2 pada tahun 2010. Kenaikan 2,7% ini mengakibatkan puncak hidrograf satuan terukur sebesar 16,3%.

Abstract

Quality control is one factor supporting the success of the implementation of the results of the work in the field, especially the implementation of road construction. To get the quality of materials and execution of technical specifications which meet the requirements of many things that must be considered, especially human resource capabilities truly professional in managing the quality management and adequate laboratory equipment. Ability, skill and adequate equipment in the testing and reporting right is the key to success in quality control. This study aims to determine the performance of service providers in quality control work Recycling Cement Treated Base (CTRB) in the implementation in the field. The procedures performed in the implementation of quality control is to make the mixture work plan (JMF) and testing during implementation of the work. Quality control consisted of testing material old road / existing with cement content of 7% of the dry weight to determine the physical properties and mechanical by examiners grading grain, the limits of Atterberg, compaction modified and robust press is free (UCS) in laboratory and experimental field compaction and density testing field with Sand Cone of sta 0 + 000 s / d 1 + 900.The test results of material CTRB to test grain size distribution of recycled materials JMF and during the implementation of all eligible permitted, including the CL-ML ie silt is not organic, clay kepasiran with plasticity low based on land classification system USCS while according to the soil classification system AASHTO included in group A-4 ie silt loam soil with low plasticity. JMF in the laboratory obtained gdmax 2.135 t / m3 optimum moisture content of 7.80% and for the implementation of gdmax obtained 2.130 t / m3 optimum moisture content of 7.90%. JMF UCS7hr 30.371 kg / cm2 and during the execution of all the test results showed ≥ 30 kg / cm2 eligible. Compaction experiments for the results of Test pit and density CTRB in the field using sand cone method with the results of the solid thick 30.30 cm ≥ 30 cm of thick design with a degree of field density 100.35%> 95% meet the requirements. CTRB density in the field using sand cone test compaction method for the implementation of all the results obtained degrees density of> 95% qualified

Abstract

Research lathe machining process, carried out on workpiece material T-6061 aluminum and the HSS. The problem is that a large beaker radiuschip, spindle rotation and eat optimum motion to produce lathe Al-6061 with a surface that is smooth, safe and capable of producing a high production capacity with a cutting depth (depth of cut) is constant.Optimized cutting parameters selection is very important to control the quality of the product surface cylindrical form of Al-6061 is to optimize for spindle rotation, movements meal and corner radius (Chip) furious breaker using two measures of performance, metal removal rate and the surface roughness.Response Surface Methodology (RSM).  Alleged best regression model to speed snarled income (MRR) at a rate of 95% at n = 900 rpm, f = 115 mm / put and RCB = 1.25 mm is = . While allegations of the best regression model for surface roughness (SR) at a rate of 95% at n = 900 rpm, f = 115 mm / put and RCB = 1.25 mm adalah: +0,14x2x3.  A regression model be able to describe the relationship between the combination of cutting parameters and radius chip breaker produced maximum metal removal rate and minimum surface roughness. Spindle rotation is the dominant influence on the surface roughness, whereas eating motion and spindle rotation is very influential on the metal removal rate, followed by radius chip breaker. Results obtained by iterative optimization using Response Optimizer for surface roughness (SR) at n = 950 rpm, f = 90 mm / put and RCB = 1.44 mm resulted SR 0.360 μm, while the Response Optimizer on MRR at n = 950 rpm, f = 90 mm / put and RCB generate MRR = 1.44 mm 39.55 mm 3 / sec. Key words :  Material  Removal  Rate,Optimizer Response, chip  breaker, surface roughness

Abstract

The principles of wastewater treatment is to convert the objectionable material to less objectionable form, to dispers the pollutants so that their concentration are minimal, or to concentrate them for isolating them from the environment. Detergent content in domestic wastewater disposal has different characteristics from the others thereby they need special approach to remove from the effluent. This research intend to recognize whether there is correlation between detergent content and the other water quality parameters. Thereafter tried to treat domestic wastewater with coagulation flocculation process use alum as coagulant and dry clay which called “Ampo” as coagulant aid, then rapid mixing is conducted along  5 minutes, this process continue with sedimentation.This research is conducted in laboratory scale use simulation water. Detergent content varies from 20 mg/l to 180 mg/l. The parameters are pH, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) and KMnO4. Research finding shows that there is linear correlation between detergent content with pH and TDS, for KMnO4 the correlation undefinitive. It also found that there are increasing water quality that indicated with decreasing parameters after the treatment.

Abstract

Saat ini banyak ditemui kasus-kasus yang berkaitan dengan IMB dan penerapannya dalam lingkup masyarakat luas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang IMB serta implementasi nyata dalam lingkup lokal/kawasan perumahan. Metode pengambilan Random Sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini termasuk teknik non probability sampling yaitu dengan mengambil contoh beberapa saja dalam 1(satu) Rukun Tetangga. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh di lapangan, menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat di Kompleks Simpang Gusti RT. 34 dan RT 37 sebanyak 60,46 % mengerti akan IMB. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan masyarakat yaitu sebesar 58,14% berlatarbelakang pendidikan sarjana, sisanya adalah lulusan SLTA sebanyak 34,88% dan lulusan SLTP sebesar 4,65%.

Abstract

Based on increase of added and population growth that occurred in the city of Balikpapan, therefor the needed and demand for residential will increase. This situation is a business opportunity for developers to build housing complex. Before the construction of the necessary studies on the feasibility of investment projects in terms of economic (financial). Investment method used in the study is the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Payback Period (PP). The purpose of research is to analyze the feasibility of the Borneo Nirwana Residence housing, that  located in the kelurahan of Karang Joang at street of PDAM. Construction planning was conducted for 10 years with a payback period of 3 years accompanied determination MARR of 9%. The data required to analyze the form of the budget plan will be the cost of land, cost of infrastructure, cost of facilities, cost of office operations, as well as the construction costs of residential buildings. From the analysis, with an invesment cost of Rp.12.863.388.400,00 get the NPV for Rp.2.504.756.281,00 or NPV > 0, and the value of IRR at 9,7 % or IRR > MARR, it can be declared investment is feasible. But in terms of paybak period or PP is not feasible because a value of payback period is above of the desire of developers, that is for 8 years or longer than 5 years of time desired.

Abstract

The existence of the tower at Kuala Kapuas Kapuas Islamic Center Complex. The initial plan design of foundation. using precast reinforced concrete pile foundation with a square cross-section size of 50 cm x 50 cm with a depth of 22 meters. Another alternative is planned foundation due to change of plans superstructure. Preliminary design of foundations (piles and poerplat) subsequent to the rigors of land CPT data which is at a depth of 24 meters, calculation of the bearing capacity of the pile with a review of some of the methods in accordance with the data available land.From the analysis of the structure obtained by the forces transmitted to the stake, the maximum load bekerjauntuk one pole axial 59.6 tons and 1,527 tons for the lateral force. With concrete slab foundations diameter of 40 cm depth of 24 m configuration of 69 fruits and poer 1.3 m thick. Decrease pole group terjadi19,926 mm <smaller than would otherwise require a kind of high-rise buildings of 40 mm based on ASTM D1143-81 so that alternate designs tower foundation al-Mukarram mosque as a whole meets the technical requirements.

Abstract

Indonesia, particularly Kalimantan island has abundant source of clay peat (CP). CP found as soil grain which is composed by silicon-oxygen tetrahedral and aluminium-oxygen octahedral essential form of very fine mineral. CP has ability in color removal, reducing organic matter and heavy metals which are dissolved in water through adsorption process. This research investigated the influence of adsorbent from natural peat clay, physical activated natural peat clay and chemical activated natural peat clay  with CP depth parameter (2, 3 and 4 meters from the soil surface) in adsorbing Fe and Mn from Banjarbaru groundwater. The chemical activation was done by contacting the clay peat with 0.25 M HCl , while the physical activation by burning clay peat in furnace with a temperature of 600oC for 4 hours  This research conducted by contacting the adsorbent with 1liter of water from Rambai well for 300 minutes. The results showed that the clay peat based on physical activation at a depth of 3 m gave the optimum conditions in reduction Fe, as shown from the values obtained was 0.27 mg/L, whereas chemical activation at a depth of 2 m could reduce Mn to be 0.081 mg/L.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memberikan gambaran penentuan spesifikasi material primer coating dan metode aplikasinya untuk pengendalian korosi dibawah insulasi sistim perpipaan di industri kilang pengolahan minyak. Target yang ingin dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah tersedianya spesifikasi material primer coating dan kemudahan aplikasinya pada sistim perpipaan dan struktur pipe rack di industri kilang pengolahan minyak. Penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian aplikatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yaitu dalam rangka mengatasi masalah korosi dibawah insulasi. Diyakini penyebab korosi dibawah insulasi adalah karena didalam spesifikasi proyek kilang tidak terdapat ketentuan aplikasi primer coating dibawah insulasi perpipaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan spesifikasi primer coating dengan service temperature (-45)oC–(650)oC dengan material coating hi-built epoxy, epoxy phenolic, epoxy nonov, inargonic copolimer dan multi polymetric matrix, telah sesuai spesifikasi NACE SP 0198-2010 dan telah diaplikasikan dengan baik dana man. Hasil penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan bahwa sesifikasi material dan metode aplikasi primer coating yang telah disusun didalam pedoman primer coating dapat dibakukan sebagai standar baku dan metode aplikasi pengendalian korosi dibawah insulasi dengan metode pelapisan primer coating di Pertamina RU V dapat direplikasi untuk mengatasi permasalahan sejenis dilingkungan industri Migas diluar PT. Pertamina.
