Abstract

This research is entitled "Tabu Language in the Gayo Society in Bener Meriah Regency". The problem in this research is what taboo words are seen from the help and context when speaking in the Gayo community in Bener Meriah Regency. The research objective is to describe what is taboo language in the Gayo community in Bener Meriah Regency. The source of research data is the Gayo-speaking community appointed as informants. The data collection technique taken is the technique of referring skillfully to record and record while the data analysis technique is done by grouping data into categories of taboo language classification and then found the number of taboo languages as a whole and taboo words in each category in the Gayo Community in Bener Meriah Regency. After the data analysis was carried out, the final results of the study were found, namely all 41 words taboo, consisting of (1) taboo mentioning 15 words, (2) taboo mentioning 4 word animal names, (3) taboo names of 3 words, ( 4) taboo mentions the name of the disease 4 words, (5) taboo refers to certain words 6 words, and (5) taboos call expletives 9 words.

Abstract

This study entitled "Analysis Value Culture of Legend In District Aceh Tengah” .The problem in this research is what the value culture in legend of District Aceh Tengah? and How the inward structure in legend of District Aceh Tengah? This study aims to identify the value culture of legend in dictrict Aceh Tengah and to describe of inward srtucture in legend of district Aceh Tengah. This research use descriptive method with approach qualitative. The aggregation of data using techniques listen and help by techniques record. The data source in this reseacrh is community of  District Aceh Tengah who understand of  legend. This legend consists of four title, there are Atang Jungket, Asal Mula Pepayungen, Malim Diwa, and Sengeda and Bener Merie. The results showed that in each legend which research there is value culture related with exploit natural, myth, mutual help, obey with leader, affection, keep of promise, hard work, and cleaver

Abstract

This study is entitled “Attitudes of Language Servants who Speak the Mother Language of Aceh in Banda Aceh”. the problem in this research is how is the attitude of the language of the saleswoman who spoke the mother tongue of Aceh to the language? This study aims to describe the saleswoman who speaks the mother tongue of Aceh towards the Aceh language. This research is the saleswoman in Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive quatitative method. The population of all saleswoman who spoke the  mother tongue of Aceh against the Acehnese language. The research data were obtained from the answer to the questionnaire respondents who were respondents. The questionnaire was prepared based on a Likert Scale with five levels, namely strongly agree (SS), agree (S), doubt (RR), disagree (TS), and strongly agree (STS). The results showed that the attitude of the saleswoman’s language who spoke the mother tongue of Aceh towards the Acehnese language was positive and negative. Positive language attitude consists of loyalty which is in the category of getting quite a percentage of 53%, pride in the good category gets a precentage of 71% and awareness is ini the category of getting a precentage og 66%. A negative attitude towards the Acehnese language cansists of the lack of passion or encouragement to maintain the independence of the language, which is in the category of getting a percentage of 56%. The lack of awareness of language norms is in the category of enough to get a percentage of 69%. and do not have a sense of pride in the language is in the category of enough to get a precentage og 61%. Thus the attitude of the saleswoman in Banda Aceh towards the Acehnese language was included in the positive category

Abstract

The problem raised in this study is how to use grammatical cohesion in the novel Burung Rantau Pulang ke Sarang by Teuku Azhar Ibrahim? The purpose of this study is to describe the use of grammatical cohesion in the novel Burung Rantau Pulang ke Sarang by Teuku Azhar Ibrahim. The method used in this research is descriptive method using a qualitative approach. The data in this study are grammatical cohesion in Teuku Azhar Ibrahim novel Burung Rantau Pulang ke Sarang. The data source of this research is the novel Burung Rantau Pulang ke Sarang by Teuku Azhar Ibrahim, published by Bandar Publishing, 2010. The data collection technique in this study uses document review techniques which are carried out by observation (reading) and making notes. The data processing technique is performed by classifying the data according to the type of grammatical cohesion, namely reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction. Based on the four types of grammatical cohesion, 1,189 data were obtained consisting of 224 reference data, namely, endophora (anaphora totaling 207 data and 15 data katafora), exophoric reference of 2 data. There are 8 substitution data consisting of 8 clausal substitution data, and there were no nominal substitution, verbal substitution, fractal substitution. There are 20 ellipsis data consisting of 17 nominal ellipsis data, no verbal ellipsis was found, 1 fractal ellipsis data, and 2 clausal ellipsis data. Conjunction there are 937 data consisting of 3 correlative data, 499 subordinate data, and 435 coordinative data. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the type of grammatical cohesion that is most widely used in Teuku Azhar Ibrahim's Burung Rantau Pulang ke Sarang is conjunction.

Abstract

The title of this study was The Student Ability of VIII Class SMP Negeri 3 Ingin Jaya Student in Concluding The Audio News Report. The aims of this study was to describe the student ability in concluding the audio news report on audio media. The qualitative approach with descriptive methods had been used in this study. Sampling method used in this study was a random sampling method. A total of 32 student of VIII-1 class participated as part of sample that included 8 men and 24 women. The data colection was done by  using test techniques. The student ability to identify news elements was assessed based on the student ability to identify what, who, where, when, why, and how elements. The student ability to conclude the news was assessed based on the news element completeness, news conclusions suitability, and orthography accuracy. The resul showed that  the average score of student ability to identify news elements (5W+1H elements) was 95,06, while the average score of ability to conclude the news was 80,05. Based on the study result, it concluded that the student ability in identifying the audio news report elements was very good, while the ability in concluding the audio news report was good.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Character in Sulaiman Juned's Drama Manuscript in the Menjilat Bulan Book". The problem of this research is character and characterization. The purpose of this study was to describe the character of the character and the method used by the author in describing the character of the characters in the drama script by Sulaiman Juned in the book Menjilat Bulan. The data source in this study is the drama script by Sulaiman Juned in the book Menjilat Bulan. The method used is qualitative research methods Data collection techniques used in this study are content analysis techniques. To analyze, researchers used qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study find various characters in the drama script and how they are characterized. how to characterize characters using direct method (telling) and indirect method (showing). After analyzing the drama script in the book Menjilat Bulan by Sulaiman Juned, it was more dominant to use indirect methods.

Abstract

The research entitled9"The Ability of Class VII Students of Banda0Aceh State Junior High School 4 in Concluding the Contents of Service Letters" aims to determine the ability of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh to conclude the contents of official letters. The method used is descriptive quantitative method. Data collection techniques, namely test techniques. Data processing is done using a statistical formula, which is looking for an average value. The results of data processing show that the ability of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh to conclude the contents of official letters are in the less category. The average value of ability of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh in concluding the contents of official letters is 53. Based on the specific aspects assessed (1) the contents of the official letter, the average value is 62, (2) the contents of official letter requests, the value the average student is 51, (3) the contents of the official letter requirements, the average value of students is 49, and (4) the contents of the official letter request, the average value of students is 51

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Religious Values in Poetry Peuayôn Aneuk in Setia Bakti Subdistrict, Aceh Jaya Regency. The formulation of the problem is (1) what religious values are contained in the poetry of Peuayôn Aneuk, (2) what religious values are dominant in the poetry of Peuayôn Aneuk. The purposeoof this study isoto describeotheoreligious values containedoin the poetry of Peuayôn Aneuk in Setia Bakti District, Aceh Jaya Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The research data collection technique was obtained through the skillful engaging listening technique and note-taking technique. Techniques for analyzing the data used in this study were (1) data collection, (2) reading the verses that will be analyzed repeatedly to achieve a level of understanding of the elements of religious values contained in Peuayôn Aneuk's poetry, (3) describing the content of verse one one by one, namely the description of the religious values contained in these verses, (4) clarifying the lines of poetry that contain religious values in the poetry of Peuayôn Aneuk, (5) drawing conclusions. The religious values contained in the poetry of Peuayôn Aneuk are aspects of religious values that relate to God, the social environment, humans and humans with oneself. Poetry Peuayôn Aneuk in Setia Bakti sub-district is widely used to put children to sleep and the content of Syair Peuayôn Aneuk tells about various aspects of life related to religiousivalues, namelyi(1) human relationsiwith God,i(2) human relationsawith the social environment, (3) human relations with humans, (4) human relationships with oneself.

Abstract

This research is titled "The Using of Majas by Online Basic Advertation Agent in Instagram". The problem with this research is how is the use of majors in advertising for beauty, food, and robe products based online by agents on Intagram. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of majas by advertising agencies based online on Instagram. The data source of this research is the caption or product description in the #kosmetikbandaaceh, #makananbandaaceh, and #gamisbandaaceh tags on Instagram. The method used is a qualitative research method. The data collection technique of this study is the documentary collection technique while the data analysis technique in this study was carried out by sorting data from #kosmetikbandaaceh, #makananbandaaceh, and #gamisbandaaceh; determine how the use of majas in the writing and record who the online business agent is; and draw conclusions by giving a statement on how to use majas by advertising agencies based online on Instagram. The results of the study show that the program used by the advertising agency on Instagram is a comparison, an affirmation, and a contradiction. Majas which include (1) comparative lectures, namely anthropomorphism, aptronym, metonymy, hyperbole, personification, and eponym, (2) confirmation, namely pleonasm, repetition, pararima, climax, tautology, sigmatism, antaclasis, inversion, rhetoric, and ekslamasio, and (3) the form of conflict, namely the antithesis and contradiction of interminus. Furthermore, there are also deviations and errors in the assembly. These deviations and errors are usually related to the use of prepositions, punctuation, italics and capital letters

Abstract

The topic of this research is conflict between classes in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This study aims to describe the conflict between classes that occurs in the novel Tere Liye Si Anak Badai. The method used is a qualitative research method. The data source in this study is the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye published by Publisher Republika in August 2019. The data in this study are words, sentences and paragraphs that contain conflicts between classes in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation technique. The analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that there is a conflict between classes that occurs in the novel Si Anak Badai by Tere Liye. This class conflict occurs between the upper and lower classes. The upper class was represented by Pak Alex, Camat Tiong, Utusan Gubernur, and Pak Mustar. The lower class was represented by the Captain, Wak Sidik, Wak Tukal, Paman Deham, the children of Manowa, Zaenal, and residents of Manowa village. The difference in interests between the upper and lower groups is very obvious, the upper class wants Manowa village land to be used as a port, while the lower class wants the port construction to be canceled because it is considered detrimental to the people of Manowa Village. Conflict is divided into vertical conflict and horizontal conflict. Data about horizontal conflicts or conflicts that occur between degrees such as between ethnic groups or religions are not shown because this study focuses on research between classes that are included in vertical conflict
