Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul penelitian ini adalah “Penggunaan Metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam Pembelajaran Menyajikan Tanggapan Kualitas Karya Cerpen dalam Bentuk Teks Ulasan  pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak”. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimanakah rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menyajikan tanggapan kualitas karya cerpen dalam bentuk teks ulasan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak? (2) Bagaimanakah proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menyajikan tanggapan kualitas karya cerpen dalam bentuk teks ulasan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak? (3) Bagaimanakah hasil pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dalam pembelajaran menyajikan tanggapan kualitas karya cerpen dalam bentuk teks ulasan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menjawab dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang disusun guru bidang studi bahasa Indonesia sudah sesuai dengan langkah-langkah metode Think Talk Write (TTW). Kegiatan pembelajaran juga diterapkan dengan menggunakan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) sudah berjalan dengan baik dan telah sesuai dengan RPP yang guru susun. Hasil pembelajaran menggunakan metode Think Talk Write (TTW) berhasil mencapai sasaran dan tujuan pembelajaran pada materi menyajikan tanggapan kualitas karya cerpen dalam bentuk teks ulasan sudah memenuhi nilai KKM, yaitu 75. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran siswa di kelas. Abstract The title of this research is "Think Talk Write (TTW) Method of Use in Learning Presents the Quality of Short Stories in Text Form to Grade VIII Students of SMPN 1 Peureulak". The formulation of the problem of this research is (1) how is the Learning Implementation Plan using Think Talk Writing (TTW) method in learning to present the work quality response in text form to the students of grade VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak? (2) How does the learning process using the Think Talk Write (TTW) method in learning present the quality response in text form to the students of grade VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak? (3) How do the learning outcomes by using the Think Talk Write (TTW) method in learning present the quality response in text form to the students of grade VIII SMPN 1 Peureulak. This research uses qualitative approach with descriptive method. Data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis by using descriptive method. The results of this study obtained from the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) prepared by teachers of Indonesian language study has been commensurate with the steps of Think Talk Write method (TTW). Learning activities are also done by using the method of Think Talk Write (TTW) that has been running well and in accordance with the RPP that teachers stacking. Learning outcomes using the Think Talk Write (TTW) method successfully achieved the objectives and learning objectives on the materials tailored to the KKM text form, ie 75.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian yang berjudul “Analisis Kohesi dan Koherensi Teks Opini dalam Surat Kabar Serambi Indonesia” ini mengangkat masalah bagaimanakah kohesi dan koherensi teks opini dalam surat kabar Serambi Indonesia? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kohesi dan koherensi teks opini dalam surat kabar Serambi Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks opini dalam surat kabar Serambi Indonesia dan datayang akan dianalisis berjumlah empat teks opini pada edisi Agustus 2016. Pengumpulan data menggunkan teknik telaah dokumen. Data yang terkumpul diolah secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa teks opini dalam surat kabar Serambi Indonesia edisi Agustus belum dapat dikatakan sebagai teks yang baik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh (1) tidak terdapatnya penggunaan pemarkah kohesi yang tepat, seperti referensi, konjungsi, subtitusi dan repetisi (2) tidak terbentuknya keterkaitan gagasan-gagasan dalam paragraf, sehingga tidak terbentuk kesatuan makna di dalamnya. Dengan demikian, dapat ditarik simpulan, bahwa keempat teks opini tidak memiliki unsur kohesi dan koherensi di dalamnya yang mengakibatkan pendapat-pendapat yang disampaikan penulis susah dipahami oleh pembaca.Kata kunci: Analisis, teks opini, kohesi dan koherensi ABSTRACK The study, entitled "Analysis of Cohesion and Coherence in Text Opinion Newspaper foyer Indonesia" This raised the question of how cohesion and coherence of the text in a newspaper opinion foyer Indonesia? The purpose of this study is to describe the cohesion and coherence of the text in a newspaper opinion foyer Indonesia. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive research. The approach of this research using descriptive analysis. Source of research data is the text in a newspaper opinion foyer Indonesia and the data to be analyzed were four opinions on the text of the August issue of 2016. The data was collected using the technique of study documents. The data collected was processed qualitatively. These results indicate that the text in a newspaper opinion foyer Indonesia August issue can not be said as a good text. This is caused by (1) the absence of the proper use of marker cohesion, as a reference, conjunction, substitution and repetition (2) no linkage formation of the ideas in paragraphs, so as not to form the unity of meaning in it. Thus, it can be drawn the conclusion, that all four opinions text does not have an element of cohesion and coherence in it which resulted in the opinions delivered by the reader writer incomprehensible.Keywords: Analysis, opinion text, cohesion and coherence

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul Penggunaan Pertanyaan Tingkat Tinggi oleh Guru dalam pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penggunaan pertanyaan tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; bagaimana penggunaan pertanyaan tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran Matematika di SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; bagaimana penggunaan pertanyaan tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; bagaimana penggunaan pertanyaan tingkat tinggi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh? Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian bersumber dari empat guru mata pelajaran yang di-UN-kan, yaitu guru mapel IPA, mapel Matematika, mapel Bahasa Inggris, dan guru mapel Bahasa Indonesia. Data penelitian ini adalah semua pertanyaan tingkat tinggi yang dimunculkan guru dalam pembelajaran IPA, Matematika, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Indonesia dan dijaring melalui observasi pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung dan wawancara dengan guru masing-masing mapel tersebut di luar kegiatan pembelajaran. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada kelas yang berbeda, yaitu kelas IX-3, VIII-2, dan VIII-5. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dalam pembelajaran IPA dan Matematika tidak ditemukan/ tidak muncul pertanyaan tingkat tinggi selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Indonesia masing-masing ditemukan dua pertanyaan tingkat tinggi dalam keseluruhan kegiatan pembelajaran itu. Pertanyaan tingkat tinggi yang muncul dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris masing-masing menggunakan kata kerja operasional adalah buatlah/ciptakanlah,lengkapilah, dan susunlah. Pertanyaan tingkat tinggi yang muncul dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia juga ditandai dengan penggunaan kata kerja operasional buatlah/ciptakanlah. Berdasarkan data ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertanyaan tingkat tinggi belum muncul secara memadai dalam proses pembelajaran mapel yang di-UN-kan di SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh sehingga mampu mendorong pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran secara maksimal.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran, pertanyaan guru, pertanyaan tingkat tinggi. ABSTRACT This research entitled the use of high-level questions by teachers learning in SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. The problem in this  study  is how to use high-level questions in natural science learning in SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; how to use high-level questions in learning Mathematics in SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; how to use high-level questions in learning English in SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh; how to use high-level questions in learning Indonesian in SMP Negeri 4  Banda Aceh ? The research  method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The research data is sourced from four UN teachers, the science’s teachers, Mathematics, English language teachers, and Indonesian language teachers and is captured through observation during the learning process and interviews with the teachers of each subject outside learning activities. Data collection was carried out in different classes, namely classes IX-3, VIII-2, dan VIII-5. The results of the study prove that in science and Mathematics learning is not found/ does not appear high-level questions during learning activities take place. In learning English and Indonesian, two high-level questions were found in the whole learning activity. The high-level questions that arise in each English learning using operational verbs are to create/ create; complete it and arrange it. High-level questions that arise in Indonesian language learning are also marked by the use of operational verbs make/ create them. Based on this it can be concluded that high-level questions have not appeared adequately in the subject learning process UN in SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh  has not been able to encourage the achievement of learning objekctives maximally.Keywords: learning; teacher;s question; higk-level question

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bahasa figuratif yang terdapat dalam novel Bulan Kertas karya Arafat Nur dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif analisis yang mengambil data dalam novel Bulan Kertas karya Arafat Nur.Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, data dianalisis melalui empat tahap, yaitu (1) identifikasi, (2) klasifikasi, (3) analisis dan (4) deskripsi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua jenis bahasa figuratif dalam novel Bulan Kertas karya Arafat.Pertama,bahasa figuratif yang didapat berupa kiasan dan pelambangan. Kiasan yang diperoleh meliputi metafora, perbandingan, personifikasi, hiperbola, sinekdoce, alusi, sinisme, satire, dan sarkasme. Adapun pelambangan yang didapatkan yaitu lambang benda, lambang waktu, dan lambang suasana. Kedua, kiasan yang paling banyak ditemukan ialah kiasan personifikasi sebanyak 43 data, sedangkan kiasan yang paling sedikit digunakan ialah sinekdoce dan sinisme dengan jumlah masing-masing 2 data. Ketiga, pelambangan yang paling banyak digunakan dalam novel Bulan Kertas karya Arafat Nur ialah lambang suasana sebanyak 24 data, sedangkan pelambangan yang paling sedikit digunakan ialah lambang benda dan lambang waktu dengan jumlah  masing-masing 1 data. Keempat, penggunaan bahasa figuratif dalam novel Bulan Kertas karya Arafat Nur berfungsi sebagai penjelas informasi dari ucapan maupun narasi dari novel dan sebagai penjelas gambaran situasi yang dirasakan oleh tiap tokoh yang ada dalam novel tersebut.Kata kunci: bahasa figuratif, Bulan Kertas ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the figurative language contained in Arafat Nur's novel Bulan Kertas by using a qualitative approach. The type of research conducted is descriptive analysis that takes data in novel Bulan Kertas by Arafat Nur. Data collection techniques performed using documentation techniques, data are analyzed through four stages, namely (1) identification, (2) classification, (3) analysis and (4) description. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of figurative language in Arafat's novel Bulan Kertas. First, the figurative language obtained in the form of figures and symbols. The acquired metaphors include metaphors, comparisons, personifications, hyperbole, sinekdoce, allusions, cynicism, satire, and sarcasm. The mining obtained is the object symbol, the symbol of time, and the symbol of the atmosphere. Secondly, the most widely used metaphor is a personification of 43 pieces of data, whereas the least used figure is sinekdoce and cynicism with each number of 2 data. Thirdly, the most widely used mining in Arafat Nur's novel of Bulan Kertas is the symbol of the atmosphere of 24 data, while the least used mining is the symbol of objects and time symbols with the number of each 1 data. Fourth, the use of figurative language in Arafat Nur's Month of Paper magazine serves as an explanation of the information from the speech and narrative of the novel and as a description of the situation perceived by each character in the novel.Keywords:figurative language, Bulan Kertas

Abstract

This research is about the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh in developing the contents of the exposition text through Model Group Investigation. in this study, the problems raised by researchers were, (1) how the students 'ability to identify the main ideas in the exposition text, (2) how the students' ability to identify explanatory ideas in the exposition text. The population in this study were all grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh, totaling 258 students. Semple is taken at intervals. In this study, researchers used quantitative descriptive methods. The process of collecting data uses test techniques. After that, the data that has been obtained, is processed using quantitative techniques in the form of average calculations. The average value obtained from the data analysis shows that the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh identifies each aspect, the average value obtained by students from aspects identifying the main ideas in the exposition text is 86.22, the value is classified into in the very good category. The average value obtained by students from the aspect of identifying explanatory ideas in the exposition text is 83.06, the value is classified into either category. The average value of all aspects obtained by grade X students of SMA Terror 2 Banda Aceh is 79.42, the value is classified into a good category that is in the range of 70-84 grades

Abstract

This research is entitled "Julu Adjective Language". The formulation of the problem of this research (1) is how the Julu language adjectives are in the form of words. (2) What is the adjective Julu language in the form of phrases. The research objectives (1) describe the Julu language adjectives in word form. (2) Describe the adjectives in the form of phrases. The data in this study are Julu language adjectives. The methods and data collection techniques of this study are through listening techniques, interview techniques, note taking techniques, and introspection techniques. This research data processing technique selects and filters data, groups data, analyzes data, and concludes data. The results of this study (1) the adjective Julu language forms of basic words such as clean, fun, mende menahong, warm, and bergoh. In addition, the form of word compositions such as broadcast siew, ancestors ate, oda mesusun, and belen ate. (2) Julu language adjectives are in the form of phrases in the form 1). the pattern of combined free morphemes + free morphemes such as cemek su ‘sangat kotor’; 2). the pattern of combined free morphemes + free morphemes + bound morphemes such as cemek su ‘sangat kotor’ ; 3). the pattern of combined free morphemes + free morphemes + free morphemes + bound morphemes such as pate kelek engkus na ‘sangat wangi sekali’ ; 4). The shape of the pattern of free morpheme + bound morpheme + free morpheme such as mende na pate ‘cantik sekali’; 5). bound morpheme pattern + free morpheme + free morpheme + bound morpheme like the si pate mbereng na ‘yang hitam sekali’; 6). free morpheme pattern + compound words + bound morpheme like pate pinang masak na ‘orange sekali’; 7). The shape of the pattern of free morpheme + free morpheme + bound morpheme + free morpheme such as nggo pate desing na ‘sudah dekat sekali’; 8). Abstract

The study is entitled "Analysis of Heroic Values in the Lolong Anjing di Bulan’s Novel of Arafat Nur's Work". Heroic values or heroism is something that must be emulated. The problem of this research is how the heroic value contained in the novel Lolong Anjing di Bulan by Arafat Nur. This study aims to describe the heroic values in the novel Lolong Anjing di Bulan of Arafat Nur's work. The type of research used is qualitative research. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data source of this research is the novel Lolong Anjing di Bulan of Arafat Nur's work which was published in 2018. The data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. Based on research that has been done, found 55 data that show the heroic value in the novel Lolong Anjing di Bulan by Arafat Nur which includes (1) courage values 17 data, (2) optimistic value 4 data, (3) abstinence value gives up 15 data, ( 4) the value of willingness to sacrifice 7 data, and (5) the value of the union of 12 data. Thus it can be concluded that the novel Lolong Anjing di Bulan  written by Arafat Nur is full of heroic values or heroism. The results of research on these heroic values are expected to be used as a reference for people in a better social life.

Abstract

This study is entitled "Directives' Speech Acts in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy". The formulation of the problem is how the directive speech acts ask, ask, order, forbid, permit, and advise in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The purpose of this study is to explain the directive speech acts of asking, asking, ordering, banning, permitting, and advising in the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The research benefit is that theoretically this study can broaden the horizon regarding speech act so that it is useful for other researchers and practically this research is useful to better understand directive speech act theory especially novels and can be used by teachers in teaching material. The approach method used in this research is a qualitative approach in a descriptive-qualitative system. The data of this study came from speech contained in interpersonal dialogue, while the source of the data was the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Data collection is done by document review techniques, observation techniques, and recording techniques. The results prove that there are six directive speech acts described in Habiburrahman El Shirazy's novel Cinta Suci Zahrana consisting of directive speech acts asking, directive speech acts asking, directive speech acts commanding, directive speech acts prohibiting, directive speech acts allow, and directive speech acts. directive advising. Of the six directive speech acts, 268 data consisted of 82 directive speech acts asking, 121 directive speech acts asking, 18 directive speech acts, 30 directive speech acts, forbid, 8 directive speech acts allow, and 9 directive speech acts. the directive said advising. Of the 268 data that have been analyzed, the directive speech act of asking is the directive speech act most commonly found in the dialogue dialogue of the novel Cinta Suci Zahrana by Habiburrahman El Shirazy

Abstract

This study examines the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze the content of the debate. The formulation of the problem is (1) How is the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze problems / issues in the debate text? (2) How is the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze the perspective of the arguments of several parties in the debate text? (3) How is the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze the conclusions in the debate text? The purpose of this study (1) Describe the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze problems / issues in the debate text. (2) Describe the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze the point of view of the arguments of several parties in the debate text. (3) Describe the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze the conclusions in the debate text. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The population of the study was 27th grade students of SMA 2 Banda Aceh, totaling 279 students. Meanwhile, the study sample was 42 students. The research data collection technique is a non-test technique in assignment. Data analysis was carried out from the results of analyzing the problem / issue, the perspective of the arguments of several parties and the conclusions in the debate text. The result of the average value of analyzing the problem / issue is 60. The result of the average value of analyzing the point of view of the arguments of some parties is 82 and the result of the average value analyzing the conclusions is 48. The result of the overall average value is 61. The results of this study indicate that the scores obtained by students in the range of the good (86-100) were 7 (17%) students, in the good category (71-85) as many as 5 (12%) students, in the sufficient category (56-70) as many as 15 (36%) students, and less categories with grades 40-55 as many as 15 (35%) people. Thus, the ability of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Banda Aceh to analyze the content of the debate can be categorized as sufficient.

Abstract

The purposee of this research is to (1) know the value of what character is contained in the novel Ingkar by Boy Candra and (2) know the technique of conveying the value of the character in the novel Ingkar by Boy Candra. Thiss study uses a qualitatiive approach. The sourrce of this researrch data is the novel Ingkar by Boy Candra (2020). The research data are parts of The Ingkar novel by Boy Candra that contain character values. Data collection is done by documentation techniques. Data analyss is done qualitatiively by readiing the novel repeatedly, then descriibing or explainiing the value of the characters contaiined in the novel comprehensively. The results showed that (1) there were eleven character values found, namely religious values, tolerance values, hard work values, iindependent values, democratic values, curiosity values, friendly/communicative values, peace-loving values, reading values, and values of responsibility. There are seven character values that are not found, namely the value of discipline, creatiive values, the value of natiional spirit, the valu of love of the homeland, the value of appreciating achievements, the value of environmental care, and the value of social care. The most dominant character values found in this novel are the value of responsibility (2) character value delivery techniques used in this novel there are 5 techniques, namely skiill techniiques, behavior techniques, mind and feling techniques, awareness flow techniques, and other character reaction techniques while the techniques not used in this novel are 4 namely, character reaction techniques, background painting techniques, physical painting techniques, and notes on character identification. The most dominant technique used in this novel is the behavior technique
