Abstract

This study entitled Verb Analysis in Novel Yorick Karya by Kirana Kejora" The problem formulations are (1) what is the form of verbs in novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora, (2) what is the meaning of verbs in novel Yorick   by Kirana Kejora, and (3) how is the function of verbs in verbs in novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora,. The purpose of this research is to describe (1) the form of verbs in the novel Yorick by Kira Kejora, (2) the meaning of the verb in the novel Yorick by Kira Kejora, and (3) the function of the verb in the novel Yorick by Kira Kejora. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods. The data of this research comes from sentences containing verbs in novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora. The data collection technique was carried out using document review techniques. The data were analyzed through three stages, namely (1) identification, (2) classification, and (3) analysis. The results of this study can be stated as follows. First, based on the form of verbs, there are 85 data, namely 70 verb data in terms of morphology, 14 data on verbs in terms of syntax, and 3 verb data in terms of their relationship with nouns. Second, based on the meaning of verbs there are 11 data. All the data is divided into three meanings, namely the meaning of "action", the meaning of "process", and the meaning of "incident". Third, based on the level of function, there are 38 data divided into verbs that function as predicates totaling 9 data, 6 data subjects, 2 data objects, 9 complementary data, and 5 information explanations.

Abstract

This study is entitled Pantun Analysis in Manendai Indigenous Marriage in Tapaktuan Subdistrick, South Aceh Regency. This research problem formulation, namely (1) linguistic structure (rhyme and rhythm) contained in the pantun manendai marriage in the District Tapaktuan, South Aceh District, and (2) the meaning contained in the poem manendai marriage in the District Tapaktuan, South Aceh. This study aims to describe the linguistic structure (rhyme and rhythm) and describe the meaning in poetry in the procession of the customary wedding ceremony in Tapaktuan District, South Aceh Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The source of the data in this study was the Manendai procession which was carried out in three villages in Tapaktuan Subdistrict, namely Jambo Apha Village, Hulu Village and Hilir Village. Data collection in this study uses the record technique. Data analysis conducted in this research was in the form of qualitative descriptive. The results showed that in the pantun manendai there is (1) a linguistic structure, namely (a) rhyme based on sound includes perfect rhyme, imperfect rhyme, absolute rhyme, open rhyme, closed rhyme and alliteration rhyme, (b) rhyme based on location includes final rhyme, flat rhyme , rhymes are parallel, rhymes hugging, crosses rhyme, rhyme string and rhyme broken, (c) the rhythm produced is the strains of high, low, long, hard, soft, and fast sound; and (2) The meanings contained are denotative meanings and connotative meanings

Abstract

This research entitled "The Application of Image Media in Children's Language Learning in Cinta Ananda Kindergarten in Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh" is aimed to find out how a picture media can influence the children's language ability which is applied in children's language learning in Cinta Ananda Kindergarten Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. The problem statements is how the application of media images in children's language learning in Cinta Ananda Kindergarten Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection methods used in this study are the record and note techniques. The results of this study are data in the form of types of image media used by teachers in children's language learning. Based on the results of the analysis, children's language skills in the Cinta Ananda Kindergarten  Syiah Kuala Banda Aceh were improved through un-projected image media such as still images in the form of paintings, series drawing and flash card.

Abstract

This study entitled "The Analysis of Moral Values in Folklore of Trumon Aceh Selatan. The formulation of the problem is (1) What are the moral values contained in the folklore of Trumon Aceh Selatan, (2. How are the ways of conveying moral values in the folklore of Trumon Aceh Selatan. The purpose of this study is to describe the moral values contained in the folklore of Trumon Aceh Selatan and The method of conveying moral values in the folklore of Trumon Aceh Selatan. The research method used is the qualitative descriptive method. The research data collection technique is obtained through interview techniques, notes, analyzes. Techniques for analyzing the data used in this research are (1) data collection, (2) record the stories obtained from the interviews with the Trumon community regarding the Trumon folklore, (3) Analyzing the results of the stories that have been recorded regarding the Trumon folklore, (4) Analyzing the moral values of the Trumon folklore in South Aceh, (5) Summing up the moral values contained in the Trumon folklore Aceh Selatan. Abstract

The research entitled “Analysis Speech  Acts of Students from Papua at Syiah Kuala University” aims to describe the forms of speech acts of student from Papua at Syiah Kuala University, the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used in this research were listening, engaging, dan note taking. From these data, classified according to the types of speech acts namely, direct speech acts, indirect speech acts, direct lateral speech acts, inlateral direct speech acts, lateral indirect speech acts, and inlateral indirect speech acts. Based of the data analysis, 56 speech acts were obtained, including 26 direct speech acts, 6 indirect speech acts, 7 direct lateral speech acts, 6 inlateral direct speech acts, 6 lateral indirect speech acts, and 5 indirect inlateral speech acts. From these data, there is a uniqueness in direct speech acts sentence. Speakers used “Toh” in the end of the sentence. There is a uniqueness in indirect speech acts sentence. Speakers used “toh” in the end of the sentence. Speakers used “Toh” to give information indirectly. There is a uniqueness in direct lateral speech acts sentece. Speakers used “Nunggu-nunggu”. There is a uniqueness in lateral indirect speech acts sentence. Speakers used “Eh” when they want to ask indirectly. There is uniqueness in indirect inlateral speech acts sentence. Speakers used “Wah” when they want to rejected the request.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem, the problem formulation in this study is what is the presupposition in the advertisement of beauty products on Youtube? and what are the types of presuppositions in beauty product advertisements on Youtube. This study aims to describe presuppositions in beauty product advertisements on Youtube and to describe the types of presuppositions in beauty product advertisements on Youtube?. In this study, the authors choose 15 data sources for advertising beauty products "Ponds Instabright Tone Up cream", “Pantene” shampoo, “Garnier Sakura White "booster serum, Fair and Lovely, lotion "Citra Sakura Fair UV ", lotion "Nivea Instant White" serum, deodorant "Nivea Whitening Silk Touch", "Wardah Perfect Bright" creamy foam, "Wardah Lightening Two Way Cake" powder, "Maybelline Fit Me" powder, "Wardah Lightening Whip" facial foam, lotion "Vaseline" body yogurt ", lipstick “Pixy” lip cream, “Perfect Bright” micellar water, “Perfect Bright” micellar water, and “Ellips” hair vitamin. The results of this study indicate that there are six presuppositions in beauty product advertisements, namely (1) there are 26 existential presuppositions that are found in the form of presuppositions marked by nouns, nominal phrases, place descriptions, and time statements, (2) 20 factive presuppositions that are found by verbs, verbal phrases, adjectives, adjective phrases, and numeral phrases, (3) 7 lexical presuppositions found several presuppositions marked by special lexical expressions that give rise to presuppositions with other statements that are conceptually not directly stated in the speech, (4) 2 non-active presuppositions found in the form of presuppositions marked by verbs and conjunctions, (5) 2 structural presuppositions found in the form of presuppositions marked by 0question 0words, (6) 1 counterfactual presuppositions0found 0in 0the 0form of contradictory sentences from the speech

Abstract

This study entitled Structure Analysis and Sentence Types of Exposition Text in Class X SMA Student Books. Thhe formulationnjyf of the problemss in thiss studyy, namely (1) howw iis thee structure of the exposition text in the textbooks of class X SMA students, and (2) what are the types of exposition text sentences in the textbooks of classs X SMA students. This study aims, (1) to desscribe the structure of the exposition text in the textbooks of classs X SMA students, and (2) the types of exposition text sentences in the books of classs X SMA students. Thiis reesearch is useful for researchers, teachers, and students. For researchers, this study can add insight and direct experience in analyzing the structure and types of sentences in the exposition text and can be a reference for future researchers. For teachers, the results of this study can increase knowledge about how to analyze and can be a reference in planning lessons regarding the text of the exposition. For students, this reesearch caan bee useed to study the structure and types of sentences in the exposition text specifically so as to improve students' skills in understanding the structure and types of sentences in the exposition text. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The data of this research are in the form of structure and types of sentences in the text of the exposition. The data source of this research is the exposition text in the textbooks of class X SMA students. The data was collected by reading the exposition text, sorting the number of paragraphs and sentences in the exposition text, marking the strucgture and sentence types of the exposition text, and classifyjying the data into tables. The analyysis tecchnique used in this reesearch is qualitaative analyysis techniiques. The resuglts showehd thaat in the textbook of class X SMA found a complete text structure of the exposition, namely a statement of opinion, a series of arguments, and a conclusion. Types of sentences in the structure of the exposition text include (1) single sentences, (2) equivalent compound sentences, (3) multilevel compound sentences, and (4) mixed compound sentences. The single sentence type is the type of sentence that is mostly found, namely 11 sentences. Types of compound sentences are equivalent to 5 sentences. The smallest type of sentence found was the mixed compound sentence type with a total of 1 sentence. Finally, there is a type of multi-tiered compound sentence, which consists of 2 sentences

Abstract

This study entitled, " Analysis of the value of character education in Bidadari Bermata Bening novels by habiburrahman el shirazy". In accordance with the problem determined, the purpose of this study was to describe the values of character education contained and the value of dominant character education used in the novel of the Bidadari Bermata Bening by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The source of this research data is the Bidadari Bermata Bening novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy which consists of 337 pages consisting of 17 sections. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research technique used is document review. The results showed that the values of character education contained in the Bidadari Bermata Bening novel were religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love for the country, respect for achievement, friendliness or communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility. The value of dominant character education in this novel is the value of religious character.

Abstract

The title of this research is the Analysis of Sentence Types in Negotiation Text in Class X SMA Student Book. The formulation of the research problem is to describe the types of sentences based on the content in the negotiating text in the Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA students. This study aims to describe the types of sentences based on their contents in the negotiating text in the Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA students. This research is useful for researchers, teachers, and students. For researchers, this research is useful to add insight. For teachers, this research is useful for reviewing lesson planning, and for students it is useful for input in understanding the types of sentences in the negotiation text. This research method uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research data is in the form of sentences in 4 negotiation texts. The data sources of this study were 4 negotiation texts in Indonesian language textbooks for class X SMA students. The data was collected by reading the negotiation text, sorting the number of sentences in each text, marking the order of the parts of the negotiation text that describe the types of sentences based on their content, and classifying the data into tables. The analysis technique used in this research is qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that there were 4 types of sentences based on their contents in 4 negotiating texts, including (1) declarative sentences, (2) imperative sentences, (3) interrogative sentences, and (4) exclamative sentences. Negotiation text 1 HP Recently found 6 declarative sentences, 2 imperative sentences, and 3 interrogative sentences. The negotiation text 2 Thank You Mrs. Mia found 7 declarative sentences, 4 imperative sentences, 5 interrogative sentences, and 1 exclamative sentence. Negotiation text 3 Ladzidzan Ice Cream Bakery found only 5 declarative sentences. Negotiation text 4 Citizen Negotiation with Investor found 8 declarative sentences, 1 imperative sentence, and 4 interrogative sentences

Abstract

This study entitled "The Ability of Middle School Students in Banda Aceh in Answering the Problems of Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) on Indonesian Language Learning". The problem this study is how the ability of junior high schoolstudents throughout Banda Aceh in answering the questions Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this study is that researchers can determine the ability of junior high school students throughout the city of Banda Aceh in answering questions on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning Indonesian. Population of this study was the eighth grade students the three junior high schools in Banda Aceh, namely the State Middle School 1 Banda Aceh, the State Middle School 2 Banda Aceh, and the State Middle School 18 Banda Aceh academic year 2018-2019. Students from the three junior high schools numbered 598 people and sample of this study was 66 students. The method used in this research quantitative descriptive method. This research data was collected through test techniques. Analyzing data using simple statistical techniques that are quantitative. The results showed that the ability students to answer the questions Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) was 42 and included in the less category. The average score obtained by students, namely (a) Junior high school 1 Banda Aceh received a score of 52 included in the less category (b) Junior high school 2 Banda Aceh received a score of 54 and was included in the category of less, (c) Junior high school 18 Banda Aceh received a score 30 and included in the Less category. The conclusions of this study indicate that junior high school students throughout the city of Banda Aceh have not been able to answer the questions Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in learning Indonesian.
