Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of Political Issue, Social Imagery, Candidate Personality, Situational Contingency, Epistemic Value on the behavior of voter decisions in Pekanbaru in the election of the Governor of Riau 2018. To determine the sample in this study using purposive sampling criteria: (a) Including DPT in the city of Pekanbaru (b) Following the Election of the Governor of Riau 2018. This study used a sample size of 180 respondents obtained from the Hair method. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with multiple linear regression analysis assisted by SPSS 25 software. The results of this study reveal that political issue, social imagery and epistemic value influence the Voters' Choice Behavior, while candidate personality and situational contingency do not affect the Voters' Choice Behavior in Pekanbaru. From the R2 value obtained of 51.5%. This means that all independent variables explain 51.5% of the dependent variable. While the rest is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of proactive personality on performance mediated by work involvement in teachers at Unsyiah Laboratory High School and SMAN 10 Fajar Harapan Banda Aceh. The sample used in this study were teachers at Unsyiah Laboratory High School and SMAN 10 Fajar Harapan Banda Aceh totaling 102 respondents. Data collection equipment used in this study was a questionnaire. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The method of analysis to determine the effect of all the variables involved is Hierarchical Linear Modeling (HLM). Based on the results of HLM analysis indicate that proactive personality partially influences performance, proactive personality partially influences work engagement, work involvement partially influences performance, and work involvement mediates proactive personality on performance.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh kepribadian proaktif terhadap kinerja yang dimediasi oleh keterlibatan kerja pada guru di SMA Laboratorium Unsyiah dan SMAN 10 Fajar Harapan Banda Aceh. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah  guru di SMA Laboratorium Unsyiah dan SMAN 10 Fajar Harapan Banda Aceh berjumlah 102 responden. Peralatan pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuisioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari semua variabel-variabel yang terlibat adalah Hierarchical Linear Modelling (HLM). Berdasarkan hasil analisis HLM mengindikasikan bahwa kepribadian proaktif secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, kepribadian proaktif secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap keterlibatan kerja, keterlibatan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, dan keterlibatan kerja memediasi kepribadian proaktif terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of company size, profitability and liquidity on dividend policy and company value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses a purposive sampling technique with several criteria to obtain 21 samples from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2013-2017 period. The analytical method used in this study is a multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that company size had a positive and not significant effect on dividend policy, profitability had a positive and significant effect on dividend policy, liquidity had a positive and not significant effect on dividend policy, company size had a positive and not significant effect on firm value, profitability had a positive and significant effect on firm value, Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on firm value, and dividend policy has a positive and not significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

In this paper we study the effect of a ESG/SRI label on profitability, corporate governance, and firm market value, evidence from Indonesia’s top listed firms. Recent evidence indicates that listed firms with ESG/SRI label has better RoE, value, governance, and capacity for growth. The samples used in this study are companies that are included in the SRI-KEHATI Index members and outside the SRI-KEHATI index, which amount to 38 companies in the 2014-2018 period, total observations of 190. We used Least Square Dummy Variable (LSDV) and Multivariate analysis to determine the effect of all the variables involved. We find significant effect of ESG/SRI label from profitability, corporate governance, and firm value. We show that SRI label adds about 8.9 percentage points of RoE, however NON-SRI label adds about 18,6 percentage  points of firm’s value and more effective 10.2 percentage point of governance quality. Finally, we find that Effective Corporate Governance will increase profitability (ROE) and firm’s value (Tobin’s Q).

Abstract

This writing provides the studies about performance which OCB mediated. This research observes the impacts of organization support, organizational justice perception towards Beacukai employees’ performance in Pekanbaru. The population consists of seventy five (75) persons Beacukai employees in Pekanbaru. The processing of the obtained data was done using the SPSS software Version 22 for Windows and SmartPLS software. The results of this research suggests that organizational support have not significant negative effect on the performance and not mediated by OCB,organizational support have a positive significant on the OCB, organizational justice perception have a positive significant on the performance and employees’s OCB, OCB have a positive significant on the performance, and OCB mediate a part of organizational justice perception on the performance. The implication for the office is that the better the implementation of organizational support, improvement of justice perception, it will increase employees performance and appear the OCB

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital adequacy, bank size, operating expenses, and liquidity in the financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses panel data with 13 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013-2017. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with random effects models. The results show that: Capital adequacy has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Bank size has a positive and insgnificant effect on financial performance. The operating expenses has a negative and significant effect on financial performance. Liquidity has a positive and insignificant effect on financial performance. Capital adequacy, bank size, operating expenses and liquidity simultaneously significant effect on the dependent variable, namely financial performance. Therefore, investors and the analysis can consider capital adequacy and operating expenses in financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of job satisfaction on millennial employee performance with demographic variables as moderators. This research was conducted on PT Semen Padang millennial employees with a sample of 211 people. Research data processing was carried out by SEM-PLS. The results showed that aspects of job satisfaction that had a positive and significant effect on performance in the order of the greatest influence were job characteristics, communication, coworkers, and appreciation. While variable salary, promotion opportunities, supervisors, and fringe benefits are known to have no effect on performance. As for the variable procedures and work regulations found negative and significant effect. Furthermore, demographic variables moderate the relationship between satisfaction and performance. Performance that is influenced by aspects of job satisfaction was found to be different for work location, work period, and education variables.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and word of mouth on revisit intention mediated by the destination image. The sample consisted of 210 respondents who visited the Central Aceh  pantan terong tour. The sampling technique uses the nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling. Data collection is done through surveys with questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique used is sem using analysis of moment structure (AMOS) is a statistical method chosen to describe the observed variables. The results showed that service quality was not significant to revisit intention, word of mouth was not significant to revisit intention, service quality was not significant to revisit intention, word of mouth was not significant to revisit intention, destination image had no significant effect on revisit intention, there was a significan effect direct service quality towards revisit intention mediated by destination image, there is a direct effect of word of mouth on revisit intention mediated by destinasion image.

Abstract

This research aims to identify various factors that contribute to herding behavior on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data in this study uses primary data in the form of a structured questionnaire that is personally sent to respondents. This research focuses on the psychology of retail investors as well as various factors that contribute to herding behavior among retail investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling used a purposive sampling technique conducted on 287 investors or respondents. The analytical method used is factor analysis with the CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) approach. The results of the study show that investors considered various parameters when making their investment decisions. Include the power of intuition, the ability to take risks and the confidence level of retail investors has a greater influence when developing investment strategies. While the results of a factor analysis from 8 herding factors based on the replication of research Saxena et al. (2016), only 3 factors that correspond to the findings of Saxena et al., that is: lack of awareness, under confidence and optimism. Two factors forming herding form the same component (in one component), that is: social proof-bandwagon effect and speculation-volatility in global market. While the factors that do not form herding behavior are reputational factors.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of corporate governance, dispersion ownership, cost ownership on financial performance. Corporate governance measured by CGPI (Corporate Governance Perception Index) based on the rating that has been prepared by IICG (Indonesian Institute of Corporate Governance), dispersion ownership measured  by adding up the shares owned by the public and the number of shares outstanding. Cost ownership is measured by dividends per share and earnings per share. As well as the financial performance measured by the value of Return On Equity and Tobin’s Q .Sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques for banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2012-2017. It was found that corporate governance has a negative and significant effect on the bank financial performance (Return On Equity, Tobin’s q). Dispersion ownership has a negatif and significant effect on the bank financial performance. Cost ownership has  a negatif and significant effect on the bank financial performance.
