Explanation of material is still in the form of calculations and teaching materials used are in the form of teaching modules that are not based on contextual problems. This is difficult to apply in bold learning, so students still have difficulty solving problems. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of contextual learning using application-based teaching materials on students' problem solving abilities. This research method uses true experimental, while the research design used is a randomized posttest only control group. The subjects in this study were class VII A and VII B with a total of 64 students. The data collection in this research uses quantitative data and the instrument used is a mathematical problem solving ability test. Data analysis in this study was using one-sample t-test and independent t-test. The results of the calculation that students have achieved the minimum criteria completeness score that is more than 70, this can be seen in the results of the one-sample t-test which obtained a sig value of 0.008 and students who used contextual learning with application-based teaching materials were better than contextual learning. This can be seen in the independent t-test, which obtained a value of sig .000, meaning that the value of sig < 0.05. So that contextual learning uses application-based teaching materials for problem solving that is effectively applied in learning mathematics

Computational thinking is related to the ability to solve mathematical problems. This study aims to describe the computational thinking of primary school students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles in solving mathematical problems as measured by indicators of abstraction, decomposition, algorithmic thinking, and generalization. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, assignments, and interviews. Data analysis techniques using technical triangulation. The results showed that the computational thinking of students with visual and auditory learning styles fulfills all indicators of every aspect of computational thinking. Both identify important information by mentioning known and asked information, making mathematical models, solving problems by breaking them down into several parts, and solving them to get the right results. Both provide logical arguments regarding the method used, generalize the problem and apply the solution to similar problems. The difference lies in the mathematical form created. The mathematical form made by visual learning styles is more complete than auditory learning styles. This causes the settlement steps to also be different. Meanwhile, kinesthetic learning styles make mistakes when understanding the problem and making mathematical models, so the completion steps and the final results obtained are not appropriate. So, students need to get used to solving problems that can train their computational thinking skills so that students will get used to thinking systematically and logically

Based on BPS data in 2019, around 90% of Indonesians consume rice as the main product of their carbohydrate needs. With the fourth most populous country in the world, Indonesia's rice consumption in 2021 will reach 31.50 million tons. Indonesia's rice production is currently not able to supply the needs of domestic rice consumption. Therefore, the Indonesian government chose to import rice for supply the needs of domestic rice consumption. Forecasting method can help the government to reduce uncertainty about the future of rice productivity. This research will discuss the comparison of the forecasting results of fuzzy timeseries using chen and cheng models in forecasting rice productivity in Indonesia. The comparison based on the percentage of eror or in this research the MAPE value is used as an indicator. The MAPE value obtained using chen model is 18% and using cheng model is 12%. The result of data analysis found that the MAPE value using cheng model is smaller than using chen model. It means that the cheng model is more appropriate used in forecasting data of Indonesia productivity rice. However the chen and cheng models both give good forecasting result because the MAPE value is less than 20%
