Abstract

Subak system is one form of irrigation system that is able to accommodate the dynamics of the sociotechnical system of the local community. Irrigation water is managed with the principles of justice, openness, harmony and togetherness, through a flexible organization that is in accordance with the interests of the community. Irrigation systems are closely related to the distribution of irrigation water in subaks based on land area. One aspect that will be assessed in an irrigation system is the Irrigation Management Achievement Ratio (RPM). The purpose of this study is to determine the RPM classification in a subak by scoring in each RPM classification. Secondary data acquisition is done by survey method, direct observation and measurement. The collected data will then be analyzed using the Irrigation Management Achievement Ratio (RPM) method. Irrigation RPM for each subak is assessed using four ranges of values, namely Good if 0.75 1.60 The results of the analysis method of irrigation management achievement ratio in the distribution of water in the subak obtained by the upstream area RPM namely Pama Palian, Aya I and Aya II have a good RPM that is an average of 100%. The availability of water is so abundant due to the upstream subak, the first subak to take water in an irrigation area. And the most important thing is the optimal water supply management system. For the subak area the RPM is slightly different from the upstream area. The average RPM of the central irrigation area that has sufficient criteria is 15.5% while 84.5% is good. For the central irrigation area which has sufficient RPM criteria with a value of 15.5% caused by the distribution of water is not as optimal as the upstream irrigation area. For Subak downstream irrigation areas the overall average RPM is 100% good, this is because the distribution of downstream irrigation water distribution is optimal according to the area of the land.

Abstract

Bacterial Leaf Blight (BLB) is a dangerous disease for rice plants. This disease can attack in every phase of growth. Calculation of BLB disease attack intensity is currently still done manually. Technology development in estimating the intensity of BLB disease is very necessary. This study aims to establish the equation for estimating BLB disease intensity using a thermal image approach. Drone DJI Inspire 1 with a thermal camera DJI Zenmuse XT was used in this research. Processing data using software Agisoft Photoscan, Arcgis 10.3 and Microsoft Excel. From the results of the thermal image analysis, it was found that the equation for estimating attack intensity is y = 4.9533x-144.42 and estimation accuracy is high at 90,45% with an error value of 8,43%. Temperature of the canopy can be classified into four according to the intensity of the attack, namely 29,83-31,84oC for mild attack intensity, 31,85-34,39oC for moderate attack intensity, 34,40-43,52oC for intensity of severe attacks and 43,53-48,09oC for intensity of puso attacks. From these results it can be concluded that the thermal image approach can be used to estimate BLB disease attacks on rice plants.

Abstract

Measurement of the intensity of blast disease attack is usually done manually, so it takes a long time and accuracy in identifying. This can hamper the handling which causes the spread to be more widespread so that it risks a decrease in rice productivity, so it is necessary to develop the estimation of attack intensity through technology using multispectra l imagery. This study aims to determine the relationship between vegetation index and the intensity of rice disease attack at various heights of image acquisition and get the accuracy of estimating the intensity of rice disease attack at various heights. S amples of disease attack intensity were taken as many as 3 plots where each plot was taken 5 points diagonally with per point taken 9 clumps. Followed by acquiring images of heights of 15 meters, 30 meters, and 45 meters using a Phantom 4 drone equipped wi th a multispectral camera, after the image is obtained, continued mosaicing using Agisoft software, then normalization using Photoshop. NDVI, SAVI, CIG vegetation index analysis is carried out using QGIS 2.28. The results showed that correlation was made t o obtain the equation used for validation, and accuracy. The relationship between vegetation index and blast disease intensity at various altitudes was linearly correlated. Vegetation index NDVI 15 meters, SAVI 15 meters and 30 meters, CIG 15 meters, 30 me ters, and 45 meters were strongly correlated. Vegetation indices NDVI at 30 meters, SAVI at 45 meters were strongly correlated with disease intensity, while NDVI at 45 meters was moderately strongly correlated with disease intensity. The 15 - meter NDVI had the highest accuracy of 97.96%. Multispectral imagery with a height of 15 meters can be used to predict blast disease because it has a very strong correlation and high accuracy for estimation

Abstract

One of the problems with palm oil mill waste is the management of Oil Palm Empty Bunches (OPEFB). One method that can be used for handling OPEFB waste is by converting it biologically to green fertilizer. The method used in this research is observation and descriptive analysis methods for each treatment. The length of the study was 28 days. The tools used were a hoe, bucket, watering can, and a place for vermicomposting. Testing equipment includes scales, pH meters and calipers. Material used was palm oil waste (sludge, solid, and empty bunches). The treatment carried out was to composite 3 materials - palm oil waste materials with a proportion of 100%, 50%, and 25%. The composite was then given 500 grams of Lumbricus rubellus worms per treatment. The parameters measured were the decomposition rate, pH, characteristics of the worms which were observed every 7 days up to 28 days. The rate of decomposition of organic matter received the highest response in the mixing treatment of L6 (65%) and L7 (88%) media. The decomposition process did not affect the pH of the media. The average pH obtained was 6. The process of decomposition rate and media pH did not affect the characteristics of Lumbricus rubellus worms. The growth of the worms increased, which is presumably because the media conditions were suitable for their survival.
