Abstract

The methodology of Islamic studies is said to be of urgency for the current millennial generation. Where the teaching of islam, which are a doctrinal legacy, have been swallowed up by the times along with the development of modern digitalization. Therefore, the aims of this research is to find out more about the importance of Islamic study methodology for the millennial generation. By using a qualitative descriptive method, the author uses a cognitive moral development approach and behavioral psychology which are expected to be able to understand the methodology of Islamic studies to the millennial generation. Millennial generation or often called Gen Y, their interest in Islamic studies is not because of coercion. But their goal in understanding Islam in more detail in the midst of technological sophistication, is because they will make Islam their way of life. Islam should be used as a guideline by the current millennial generation, who have been exposed to the internet since birth so that they do not take wrong steps in the future. To do this, they can get to know Islamic studies further through existing approaches as well as Islamic character education which is then applied in everyday life.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the thoughts of Sheikh Ahmad As Surkati about monotheism education and the implementation of Sheikh Ahmad As Surkati's thoughts about monotheism education at Al Irsyad Surakarta Junior High School, so that it can be used as a material for consideration in order to improve the quality of conducting monotheism education. This study uses a qualitative type and includes field research (field research), because the data is fully excavated from the field. This study uses an implementative philosophical approach. Sources of data in this study were obtained directly from field research from a number of sources concerning information about the implementation of the thoughts of Sheikh Ahmad As Surkati about monotheism education at the Middle School Al Irsyad Surakarta. Data collection techniques used in this study were through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was performed descriptively using the inductive method. The results showed that the thoughts of Shaykh Ahmad As Surkati about monotheism education included three main things, ijtihad and taqlid, sunnah and bid'ah and grave pilgrimage and bertawasul to the prophets and saints. The implementation of Shaykh Ahmad As Surkati's thoughts on monotheism education at Al Irsyad Surakarta Junior High School was carried out through habituation and inclusion in the subject matter of Fiqh.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of parents in responding to gadgets and their implications for deviant sexual behavior in children. The method used by researchers in compiling this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows: The frequency of gadget use needs to be limited. Children do not need to be given excessive gadgets, because the most important thing is that children can use them and know their optimal uses. The intensity of excessive use of gadgets can lead to sexual deviations in children. The role of parents in addressing the use of gadgets to their children is very important. This is done so that children do not abuse their parents' trust in them. The attitude that needs to be shown is accompanying children when playing gadgets and parents must be able to operate it. As for the impact that may arise if parents do not supervise the use of gadgets on their children, then their children will carry out deviant behavior. The form of the deviation is in the form of bad attitude and speech. Usually in the form of an erotic attitude and obscene speech.

Abstract

Specific postural gestures at one rak'ah in Muslim prayer (Shalat) include standing, bowing once, and two prostrations. This phenomenon is a full round of movement. This study is aimed to analyze the mathematical concepts, especially based on the root characteristics of a full round (rotation) of one rak'ah of Muslim prayer (Shalat). This study was conducted with a qualitative approach. It was the liberary research. It compared between the specific postural gestures of  Muslim prayer (Shalat) to the round of Thawaf at the Kaaba. This method was used. Then furthermore, the mathematical concepts were analyzed based on their equilibrium points, their characteristic roots, and their orbitals. Muslim prayer (Shalat) is a manifestation of rotation at a single equilibrium point, its characteristic roots are purely imaginary, and it always pass through certain orbitals as long as the parameters do not change. In general, it is said, specific postural gestures at one rak'ah in Muslim prayer (shalat) is the core of the recognition of monotheism to Allah SWT (Al-Ahad) and the faith in Allah SWT as the Unseen (Al-Ghaib).

Abstract

Character education is very important to be implemented in school educational institutions, so that more attention is needed to minimize the emergence of various social diseases, such as damage to morals, morals and ethics. This study aims to determine the impact of home-stay activities on the emergence of tolerant character values in multicultural situations among students of SMA Assalaam Surakarta Indonesia. This researcher used a qualitative method with an ethnographic design. Researcher as an instrument by setting the focus of research to analyze the data obtained inductively. Collecting data through observation, semi-structured interviews with teachers and home stay participants, and documentation. The results showed that home-stay activities educate students to behave tolerantly in multicultural situations and contribute to forming a person who is aware of democratic values. To realize democratic education based on awareness of the values of tolerance built by multicultural social facts. In addition, it is contained in education based on out-door activities such as home-stay, which builds students' personalities with spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and skills which are summarized in multicltural educational practices. Based on the results of this study, home-stay activities are very effective as a model of multicultural education with values of tolerance as the basis for the realization of democratic education. This home-stay-based multicultural education is an inspiration for environmentally friendly educational practices.

Abstract

Pendidikan Muhammadiyah merupakan pendidikan Islam modern yang mengintegrasikan agama dengan kehidupan untuk melahirkan generasi muslim terpelajar, berkarakter, memiliki kekuatan iman dan kepribadian manusia yang dapat menjawab tantang zaman. Sejalan dengan nafas perjuangan gerakan Muhammadiyah sebagai gerakan pembaharuan tulisan bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis tentang reaktualisasi pendidikan al islam dan kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) sebagai penguat pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik. Temuan penelitian ini adalah (1) penguatan pendidikan karakter dapat optimal dengan dukungan kebijakan yang dapat memberikan atmosfir positif terhadap civitas akademika khususnya pelaksana kebijakan, (2) kurikulum AIK membuat pemetaan profil lulusan dan learning outcomes agar dapat diketahui secara efektif keberhasilannya serta dilakukan evaluasi hasil (output) dan evaluasi luaran (outcomes), (3) dukungan program terstruktur dan hidden curriculum sebagai bagian dari strategi internalisasi dan institusionalisasi nilai karakter dan penerapannya pada seluruh civitas akademik yang pada akhirnya akan memiliki peranan dalam pembentukan karakter manusia yang siap untuk menjawab tantang zaman. Ketiganya harus dilakukan secara terus menerus (istiqomah) dan menyeluruh dan holistic (kaffah) serta di evaluasi, dikaji dan dikembangkan pada setiap institusi secara terus menerus (continuous improvement).

Abstract

The purpose of writing is to know, describe, analyze and provide knowledge to the public about the consequences of being married to relatives and the influence on their children in the future. The consequences of marrying relatives include the easy transmission of inherited diseases to the resulting children and an increase in the number of inherited diseases among family members. There is a lot of evidence that explains that marriage with relatives can cause deafness, discoloration, mute and many others. In the Al-Qur'an and Hadiths, it has been explained about the recommendation to avoid marriage with relatives. To avoid the transmission of various types of inherited diseases, we should look for a life partner not from close family. Exo Because we as humans should follow the orders of Allah and the Prophet and stay away from the prohibitions, so that we can be safe in the world and the hereafter.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the tolerance education system has been implemented in the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school in Surakarta Indonesia and how the tolerance education method has been applied. The research method used is qualitative. This type of research is a case study in which the research focuses on a particular case to be observed and analyzed thoroughly and thoroughly and the focus of the study is students or students of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school, Surakarta.The data that has been collected and obtained is then analyzed using a structured method. Data collection was carried out by using interview, observation and documentation techniques.We strive to sort, classify and categorize all data that has been collected using guided techniques so that the themes can be identified according to the tolerance education process of the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school.The results of this study indicate the tolerance education system in the Tahfidzul Qur'an Al Kahfi Hidayatullah Islamic boarding school that tolerance education is integrated with all subjects, which the curriculum in the cottage is divided into three, namely superior subjects, special subjects and general subjects.Meanwhile, the model for implementing tolerance education includes the placement of boarding schools for students, no permanent placement of students in a hostel, stipulating regulations on the transfer of students every year and through discussion forums and halaqoh.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase motivation and learning outcomes of the material of Faith in the Books of Allah through microsoft powerpoint media for 32 students of class VIII-F SMP Negeri 2 Demak semester I of the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a classroom action research. Sources of data consist of qualitative data in the form of observation sheets, daily notes, and photos of learning documentation, and quantitative data sources in the form of written tests. The data was collected using non-test techniques for qualitative data, and test techniques for quantitative data by comparing the observed data with the pre-test and post-test results given to students. This research was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle through four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the microsoft powerpoint media can increase student motivation from cycle I to cycle II has increased from 72.78% in the enough category to 91.91% in the good category or an increase of 19%. The learning outcomes of the knowledge aspect in the first cycle of students who completed classically were 68.75%, and in the second cycle it became 93.75% or from 22 students to 30 students, so there was an increase in students' classical completeness from cycle I to cycle II by 25%.

Abstract

Research under the title of productive Waqf management strategy in order to empower students in the boarding school of Al-Fath Sukoharjo to be more aware of how productive waqf is being used for the empowerment of students, so that the management can be known. This type of research is included in qualitative research that comes from interviews and data observation. The source of this research data consist of primary data sources, researchers directly conduct interviews to the parties concerned in the management of productive Waqf in the boarding school Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Fath Sukoharjo, researchers also use secondary data sources such as books, articles and other reference materials. The results explained that in the effort of students Empowerment, Pondok Pesantren Al-Fath Sukoharjo maximizes various ways for the management of productive waqf can continue to grow and its benefits can be perceived by the students.
