Abstract

The differential relay on the power transformer II in the Kapal Substation has a sensitivity setting of 30% to the nominal current of winding. Fault current that occurs below setting is not detected because the fault current has not reached the set limit. To overcome the fault current it is equipped with REF relay that has sensitivity below 30%. The analysis was performed by calculation method according to the relay setting manual. The results of sensitivity setting of REF relay is 382.75 A or fault point at 22.09% of the transformer winding, while the differential relay is 519.6 A or fault point at 30% of the transformer winding. The calculation result shows that the first to work is the REF relay than the differential relay. So the fault on the transformer winding is overcome by the REF relay.

Abstract

Hotspots are signaled areas that refer to certain places (usually public places) and have internet services using wireless local area network (WLAN) technology. Because the installation of the device and the user who is accessing it is indoors, of course it will be faced with a barrier / barrier in the form of a wall that prevents the entry of the radio signal so that the hotspot signal coverage is unable to cover optimally. This condition occurs in the WLAN network of Agrokomplek Building, Udayana University. So it is necessary to measure the coverage area of the hotspot signal so that no blank spots occur. The results of the measurement of the 4th floor coverage of the Udayana University Agrokomplek Building showed that the signal coverage experienced a lot of attenuation caused by distance and barriers in the form of walls. To increase the signal level value, an access point is added in an area that does not get signal coverage.

Abstract

The use of air conditioners (AC) and lighting that do not suit the needs and excessive results in a lack of comfort and high use of electrical energy. Ultrasonic Sensor of SRF-04 functions to find out the number of people in the room, temperature sensor of DHT 22 functions to calculate the temperature and humidity inside and outside the room, Light Intensity sensor of GY-302 functions to read the level of light intensity in the room and micro controller of Arduino Mega 2560 functions to process all input sensors become the command for operating the AC units and lights. The AC and lighting control system working well and can determine the time and number of AC and light that is needed. Those are based by Indonesian room comfort standards so that it can increase the comfort of the room in terms of cooling systems and room lighting with a temperature of 22oC to 25 oC and light intensity of 300 lux.

Abstract

Rugi energi terjadi jika jumlah energi yang disalurkan tidak sama dengan energi yang diterima oleh konsumen tenaga listrik. Rugi energi merupakan salah satu parameter kualitas jaringan listrik. Rugi energi yang tinggi pada jaringan dapat mengakibatkan pula rugi tegangan yang tinggi, sehingga tegangan pelayanan menjadi turun. Menurut SPLN 1, 1995 tegangan pelayanan maksimum adalah +5 % dan minimun -10 % terhadap tegangan nominal. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan rugi energi yang dilaksanakan oleh PT PLN (Persero) adalah dengan mengganti tap connector tiap sambungan jaringan tegangan rendah dengan connector type press. Penelitian ini menganalisis besarnya rugi energi yang terjadi sebelum penggantian dan setelah penggantian connector. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan dilaksanakannya penggantian tap connector, maka rugi energi pada jaringan tegangan rendah yang terhubung pada transformator DS105 dapat diturunkan sebesar 63,4327 Wh atau sebesar 23,2448%. Dengan kata lain, rugi energi dapat diturunkan dari 272,8896 Wh sebelum penggatian tap connector menjadi 209,4569 Wh setelah penggantian tap connector.

Abstract

Kontes Robot Pemadam Api Indonesia or commonly in short KRPAI is a robot competition that has the main mission of putting out fires. During the competition there are several bonus points that must be taken. One bonus that must be taken is the robot able to return home after holding a fire. In this research the KRPAI Udayana University robot will use the backtracking algorithm to return home. The purpose of using backtracking alogritma is to shorten the distance back home to the robot. In KRPAI University robot Udayana use SRF-05 sensors to measure the distance of the robot to the wall and use 18 servo as the driving leg of the robot. the use of backtracking algorithm, the path that has been passed by the robot when looking for fire will be simplified. the results of the simplification of the fire search path will be used as the return route. Based on the test results, using the robot backtracking algorithm is able to minimize the distance traveled when returning home, the room entered is only 1 room, and there is no detecting dolls.

Abstract

PT. Indonesia Power unit Pesanggaran is one of the power generation companies in Bali, which has also participated in the development of renewable energy by installing solar PV with a capacity of 24 KW. In this research, reviews was conducted to know the condition of the solar PV plant. Review is carried out by conducting observation in the field, reviewing technical data of solar PV components, and also interviews with the staff who operate and maintain the solar PV. Through reviews it was found that the design and installation of solar PV plant is good and follows good practice of solar PV installation for optimum energy production. Due to plant location at GPS coordinate of -8,72, 115,21 therefore the solar module has been installed facing north or azimuth 0o. This module is placed on the roof of Building A, thereby reducing the cost to construct mechanical supports. The solar module was installed with a slope angle of 22o approaching the optimum slope angle. The components of the PV plant are good as they bear international standards. The solar module is CHN240-60P polycrystalline silicon with 60 cells that caccries CE certificate (Conformité Europeenne). Also, the inverter is three units of ABB PVS300-TL-800W-2 with AC output of 8,000 W which are also carries CE certificate and others. The quality of technical specifications of solar PV components and also installation of the plant has direct influence on the energy production of the plant and these have been properly implemented on the 24 KW Indonesia Power solar PV plant.

Abstract

Sistem pengangkat air dengan menggunakan sumber pembangkit listrik tenaga surya sudah banyak dilakukan oleh beberapa orang atau kelompok, namun pada malam hari panel surya tidak dapat mensuplai mesin pengangkat air karena tidak mendapatkan sinar matahari. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah tidak dilengkapi dengan penyimpanan energi untuk sistem pengangkat air tersebut. Solusi untuk masalah ini adalah dengan membuat rancang bangun baterai charge control untuk sistem tersebut. Metode dalam pembuatan sistem ini dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu perancangan hardware dan software. Hasil dari sistem charge control ini mampu melakukan pengisian untuk aki GS 12V10Ah dengan arus pengisian mengikuti arus dari PLTS dengan rata-rata arus pengisian sebesar 2,065 ampere dan tegangan pengisian yang diberikan 13V selama 2 jam dan lama pemakaian aki GS 12V10Ah untuk membackup beban pompa 60 Watt selama 1 jam 45 menit.

Abstract

Vehicle inspection is made to guarantee the safety of vehicle on the road. Vehicle Inspection held regularly, in order to reduced any accident that is caused by the trouble or damage of the ma-chine. Vehicle Inspection Unit is expected to give the best service to the customer. The Unit has to be ready in every aspect of inspection such as inspection book, sticker, inspection plate, human re-sources and the possibilities in increasing the amount of equipment. Forecasting method can be used for planning all the item mentioned above. The forecasting methods that is used in this paper is Holt-Winters Model. In addition, we can predict the amount of vehicle to be inspected 12 month ahead, so the unit can analyze and plan the needs of vehicle inspection operation. The used of Holt-Winters Model Method, , produced Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 1.09%.This indicated that the model produced good values of prediction, which can be used to maximize the vehicle inspection, especially in Tabanan Regency.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi seluler LTE dengan kecepatan data yang tinggi mengakibatkan cakupan BTS menjadi lebih kecil. Akibatnya jumlah BTS yang dibutuhkan bertambah dan ketinggiannya menurun. Kebutuhan BTS dalam penelitian ini memanfaatkan LPJ di kota Denpasar. Jumlah LPJ sebanyak 16.685 titik dengan ketinggian 11meter hingga 23meter. Dengan memanfaatkan 16.685 titik LPJ pada penelitian ini, maka dapat mencakupi layanan LTE di wilayah Denpasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu mengumpulkan data dan gambaran LPJ, melakukan desain BTS pada lampu penerangan jalan, melakukan perhitungan dengan menggunakan model propagasi Cost-231 dan simulasi dengan menggunakan software Atoll, menghapus beberapa titik apabila terjadi overlapping coverage, melakukan tilt antena apabila terjadi blankspot. Sehingga hasil simulasi dari jumlah LPJ yang digunakan untuk mencakupi seluruh wilayah Denpasar yaitu 30 titik yang terdiri dari 5 site dengan tinggi antena 23meter, 4 site dengan tinggi antena 15meter, 2 site dengan tinggi antena 13meter, dan 21 site dengan tinggi antena 11meter.

Abstract

Perkembangan dan persaingan agen properti terus meningkat. PT. Grha Kusuma sebagai agen properti dalam proses kerjanya masih manual. Dengan permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian sistem informasi agen properti berbasis web dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, DBMS MySQL dan Bootstrap (framework HTML, CSS dan Javascript). Metode penelitian dengan melakukan kajian pustaka, pengumpulan data, pemodelan sistem, desain aplikasi, pemrograman aplikasi dan pengujian aplikasi dengan metode black box. Penelitian menghasilkan aplikasi agen properti berbasis web yang dapat dijalankan dengan baik pada browser mode mobile maupun desktop. Dengan aplikasi ini, agen properti dapat memberikan layanan jasanya dengan cepat, tepat dan dapat diakses di mana saja.
