Abstract

The development of very rapid communication technology specifically on 4G networks. cannot be separated from various problems, one of which is the occurrence of traffic density which causes transmission data rate decline.Telecommunications services in particular throughput has increased access. From this problem, this paper studies the simulation results of 4G LTE network throughput compared to the results of the drive test on the renon cluster. From the simulation, it known that the coverage area of 1.31 km2 and the speed of data access are termed by the equipment user 4,000 kbps to 5,000 kbps. While the results of drive test analysis using G-NetTrack Pro software with dedicated method from the existing eNodeB AKABA_PL, MYAMIN_CR, and BUNDARANRENON_PL data. The average downlink obtained by users is 2 Mbps, distance 100 to 800 meters that can be drawn on each sector eNodeB. The parameters measured are RSRP, RSRQ, SINR and throughput. Analysis of the drive test results found parameters that affect access speed when downloading and several other factors. Furthermore, the parameters of the downlink throughput was compared to the simulation results with the measurement data in the field and from the comparison made the results are linear.

Abstract

Past history is a legacy of its predecessor which should be maintained and preserved by the next younger generation. One of them is the famous masterpiece of Indonesia that is Wayang purwa. It is also called shadow puppets because it is made of calf leather. Wayang purwa itself usually uses the story of Mahabharata and Ramayana. One solution that can be used is implementing Wayang purwa in the form of mobile based learning media applications. Learning media applications are built to run on Android-based smart phones by using Unity software that features 2D with user interface, drag and drop and scripting C # programming lan-guages. The application of wayang purwa learning media provides knowledge about the wayang or the puppet shadow’s appearance and characters in the form of puzzle games as well as quizzes. Based on the results of usability testing by using questionnaires to 30 respondents, it was obtained the results on visual graphics aspect test that 57% of the respondents gave good response while in the aspect of entertainment and learning showed that 90% gave good response. In addition, based on the testing by using the black box method the overall functional-ity of the application has been running well. The learning media application is expected to in-crease the interest of the younger generation to learn wayang purwa.

Abstract

Melia Bali-Indonesia Hotel is the first hotel of Sol Melia's management, which subsequently becomes the Bali Sol Hotel. This hotel was supplied from transformer 1 of the Melia Bali Hotel via MDP1 with 9 SDPs, with priority to supply electricity to rooms and villas. Based on the measurement results obtained currents: at each phase namely: phase R = 456 A, phase S = 445 A, phase T = 412 A and power factor of 0,84. A power factor of less than 0,85, based on the determination of an electric power tariff adjustment from PT PLN, may be subject to excess reactive power usage fees (Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28 of 2016). Based on these data, an analysis of the installation of capacitors was carried out to increase the power factor in transformer 1 of Melia Bali Sol. The method used is to use simulation modeling with ETAP. Based on the results of the analysis of the installation of capacitors can increase the power factor by 11% to 0,95, already exceeding the minimum average power factor determined by the PLN electricity tariff adjustment. In addition, the load current decreased 12% from 442.3 A to 389.5 A.

Abstract

Shopping centers today are a shopping and recreation destination for the community. The problem that is often faced by managers of shopping centers is parking. The rapid development of information technology today can be used to build an application that is used to facilitate the driver in getting a parking space. In this study, a parking reservation application was developed which can be used to make it easier for visitors to the shopping center to get a parking space. Application development starts from the stage of system needs analysis, system modeling, system making up to system testing. This application is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study are the application of responsive web-based online parking reservation system, where responsive web can adapt to the large or small smartphone screens used. This application is also integrated with geographic information services that are useful for displaying available parking locations. This application can ensure that shopping mall visitors get a parking slot after making a reservation. Tests carried out on this application with the Black-Box method, the functional application has been running well and based on the System Usability Scale test, the average value obtained from twenty respondents is 81.13 which is in the Acceptable category or can be accepted by the user.

Abstract

This paper is projecting website system built on top of PHP Framework Laravel 5.2 and MySQL DBMS which contains 6 modules of scientific conference management needs, Master Conference, User Management, Submission, Website Management, Schedule, and Post Conference. From the development and testing system with Black Box method concluded that the system is running well and feasible to be applied to the management of the conference in Electrical Engineering Program Faculty of Engineering Udayana University.

Abstract

Parking space is a facility that must be available in public places, both in shopping areas, offices, hospitals and other places. In general, parking lots only provide parking slots to occupy cars without a system that provides information to the driver about the availability of parking slots, often the driver must surround the parking area to determine whether there are still parking slots that can be occupied. Design and build this application using the Computer Vision method, with the help of CCTV cameras. In making this application, the reference object for detection is a four-wheeled vehicle and the detection uses the Structural Similarity Index Measurement (SSIM) method by taking photos of full parking slots and empty parking slots with four-wheeled vehicles. Then two sample photos will be compared with the threshold method. After getting information about the availability of parking slots, the data will be sent to the server which will then be forwarded by the android application in real time. The results of designing this application have several things that are very influential on the level of detection, namely the intensity of light and camera position. Resistance to light changes of at least 50% of the template that has been made, while the distance of the camera to the parking slot is very influential. The farther the camera the smaller the precision produced by the system.

Abstract

Distributed Generation (DG) is a small-scale power plant located close to the center of load. Goa Lawah feeder is a broadcast that is close to the potential of DG namely the Mini Hydro Power Plant on the Unda River in Klungkung Regency. In this research the optimization of Distributed Generation placement to Goa Lawah feeder. Optimization of Distributed Generation placement aims to reduce the value of loss of power that exist in the feeder Goa Lawah. The results of the research obtained at the point of bus 123 by Distributed Generation placement using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method, with power loss 41 kW (44%). The initial loss before the Distributed Generation interconnection of 72 kW after the Distributed Generation interconnection to 31 kW.

Abstract

Suatu sistem JaringanTegangan Rendah (JTR), ketidakseimbangan beban selalu terjadi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh tidak meratanya pemakaian beban satu fasa yang berasal dari peralatan listrik rumah tangga, yang pada akhirnya akan menyebabkan terjadinya rugi-rugi pada jaringan. Pemerataan beban tiap fasanya merupakan salah satu cara yang ditempuh untuk menekan rugi-rugi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis rugi-rugi daya keadaan seimbang dan keadaan tidak seimbang pada waktu siang dan malam hari di JTR dan SR gardu distribusi DS 0587.Berdasarkan hasil analisis, adanya ketidakseimbangan beban pada JTR DS 0587 telah menyebabkan terjadinya rugi-rugi daya. Besar rugi-rugi daya beban seimbang pada siang hari sebesar 0,54 kW dengan persentase rugi-rugi sebesar 0,86%, dan waktu malam hari sebesar 1,2 kW dengan persentase rugi-rugi sebesar 1,48%. Sedangkan rugi-rugi untuk beban tidak se-imbang waktu siang hari sebesar 0,66 kW dengan persentase rugi-rugi sebesar 1,06%, dan waktu malam hari sebesar 1,46 kW dengan persentase rugi-rugi sebesar 1,8%.Jadi semakin besar persentase ketidakseimbangan beban pada suatu jaringan distribusi tenaga listrik, maka akan semakin besar pula rugi-rugi yang ditimbulkannya.

Abstract

In the process of electrical power distribution, various types of interference can occur so that a protection system is needed to maintain the continuity and stability of electrical power distribution. Arrester is one of the main protection systems used to protect electrical equipment against overvoltages caused by lightning strikes. Penyulang Sulahan is a 20kV medium voltage distribution system that gets power supplies from Gianyar Substation 1/60 MVA and is located on a plateau that is prone to natural phenomena such as lightning. During 2016 there were three times the failure of conventional arresters. Based on these data, it is necessary to analyze the failure of arresters at Penyulang Sulahan so that the continuity of electricity can be better. The method used in this study is to collect data in the form of single line diagrams, disturbance data, and large grounding resistance on Sulahan Feeders. Next, compare Metal Oxide Arrester with Multi Chamber Arrester. The results obtained were grounding in the Feeder over 5 ohms which caused conventional arrester to not work properly. Multi Chamber Arrester is an arrester that has no effect on the value of grounding resistance. After installing the Multi Chamber Arrester, failure of arresters has decreased to one failure during 2017

Abstract

The high level of harmonics found in the use of electrical energy can cause the system's power quality to get worse. the voltage and currentqwaveforms ofra distorted system giveerise to aneincrease inplosses that affect the efficiency0of the transformer. In this studyqa currenteTHD analysis will be carried out in Klungkung District Hospital. The simulation results will be compared with the IEEE 519-2014 standard in theconditions existing and the conditions at the operationeof the shunteactiveyfilter,analysis is alsoecarried out losses before and after the harmonics are affected. The results of theanalysis of Losses the existing conditions are losses of Phase R2.310 kW, Phase S of 2.363 kW, Phase T of 2.285 kW. The operating simulation of activefilters shunt obtained losses for phase R 2,141 Kw, Phases S 2,158 kW, Phase T 2,142 kW, so that the losses totalat the time of the existing amounted to 6,958 kW and after installation of active filters losses were total6,441 kW. The level of efficiency transformer in hospitals whenKlungkung existing amounted to 96.18% and after being fittedactive filter shuntefficiency of 96.46%.
