Abstract

The Feeder of Sulahan Bangli is located in the highlands which are often exposed to natural phenomena in the form of lightning, so the Feeder of Sulahan Bangli often experience interference with over voltage. Lightning Arrester in The Feeder of Sulahan Bangli often experience failure due to overvoltages during lightning surges. In 2016 there were 4 times the overvoltage failure in conventional Lightning Arrester in The Feeder of Sulahan (PT. PLN (Pesero) UP3 East Bali, 2016). The failure of Lightning Arrester in The Feeder of Sulahan Bangli is caused by the interference of backback-flashover, this is caused by the earth resistance value in Lightning Arrester exceeds the standard value <1 ? which is an average of 8 ? so that it needs to be repaired grounding system. In this study an analysis of the area of the grounding system is installed, analyzing the various grounding systems that are suitable in the Feeder of Sulahan, and calculating the cost of each grounding system. The results of calculations and analysis of several grounding systems used by the Grid-Rod grounding system in wet and clay soils are the most optimal type of groundinging system that can be used as a reference for improving the grounding system in The Feeder of Sulahan Bangli with an earth resistance value of 0, 4543 Ohms at a cost of Rp. 5,416,625, - per unit and on a 0.4461 Ohm thick clay soil at a cost of Rp. 8,728,125, - per unit.

Abstract

A previous review of harmonic analyzes has been conducted at The Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa hotel, where there are many high non linear loads, resulting in harmonic distortions that have an impact on power losses. The current harmonic content of the electricity system at The Blue Point Bay Villa & Spa hotel does not meet the IEEE 519-1992 standard which results in decreased power quality. This research analyzes the steps of installing high-pass hybrid filter type to reduce harmonic distortion, analyze power losses using ETAP software. Analysis is performed before and after the installation of hybrid filters. The analysis result of hybrid filter simulation can reduce harmonic distortion with THDi value at SDP1 equal to 6,42%, SDP2 equal to 6,41%, SDP3 equal to 6,42%, SDP4 6,41%, and SDP5 6,42%. THDv value simulation results on all SDP before installation of hybrid filter that is 8.80% and after installation of hybrid filter that is 0,13%.

Abstract

Drive test adalah kegiatan mengumpulkan data pengukuran kualitas sinyal suatu jaringan.Untuk melakukan drive test diperlukan perlengkapan seperti Mobile Station , Laptop, dan Global Positioning System (GPS) seperti pada Tems Investigation 8.0.3. Namun dengan berkembangnya kemajuan teknologi drive test dapat dilakukan dengan sangat mudah yaitu hanya dengan smartphone berbasis android. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana performance drive test jika menggunakan smartphone berbasis android yang mengacu pada metode drive test dengan parameter RSL dan RxQual. Hasil pengukuran RSL dan RxQual lebih mendekati menggunakan alat ukur Tems Investigation 8.0.3 dibandingkan G-NetTrack Pro sebagai contoh pada ProtAkaba yaitu mendapatkan nilai RxQual 0,36 dimana hasil tersebut termasuk dalam kualitas baik namun pada G-NetTrack Pro mendapatkan nilai -1 dimana nilai tersebut tidak termasuk dalam standar nilai KPI PT Hutchison 3 selain itu pada G-NetTrackPro tidak terdapat fitur lock cellid serta pengaturan threeshold untuk RxQual yang mengakibatkan nilai terbesar yang didapatkan pada sebuah menara Rooftop.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the field of education has developed very rapidly, e-learning is one example of the development of information technology of education. To optimize the e-learning system in an area, adequate network infrastructure is needed. This research aims to improve the WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) network infrastructure in the campus area of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Bukit Jimbaran. This research was conducted in 3 stages, namely measuring the capacity and range of access points directly, calculating the access point signal level, and using simulations to calculate the number and range of access points using the Atoll Rf Planning software. Based on the results of measurements and calculations obtained, the results of the 3 stages of the research carried out found the farthest range of indoor and outdoor access points each 12 meters and 22.6 meters. The total number of access points needed for indoor and outdoor positions as a whole in accordance with the simulation results requires as many as 22 access points.

Abstract

In this tool utilizing the Raspberry Pi and Arduino Uno Microcontrollers as equipment that can provide a good level of security for home security with visual sensor based. This tool uses an electronic key where you can electronically open and lock the door based on the password inputted using the keypad. The whole system on the electronic key is fully controlled by the Arduino Uno Microcontroller and if the password inputted on the keypad is more than three times wrong, an buzzer will ring, the camera will take a picture and the Raspberry Pi Microcontroller will immediately send a notification to the homeowner via the Telegram application. . When someone wants to try to get into the house by using the correct or wrong password the camera will still automatically take pictures and will immediately send notifications in the form of text and images to the homeowner through the Telegram application. In conditions far from home the homeowner can also find out the current state of the house through the Telegram application. In the system this tool uses a password where passwords can be stored in the form of "hard code", the average delay in each experiment of this tool is around three minutes.

Abstract

Transformer 3 of Pesanggaran Substation obtains additional power plants with a maximum power of 60 MW. Power generation is used to supply the load of feeders in Substation of Pesanggaran and also channeled to 150 kV transmission system at Substation of Pesanggaran through Transformator 3 to Substation of Nusa Dua to assist power supply at Nusa Dua Substation. If there is a feeders interruption in the Substation of Pesanggaran which causes the load of feeders to be disconnected, then the power from the generator that is flowed to the 150 kV system increases. Thus the Transformer 3 works heavier, resulting in the current and temperature of the transformer also increased. Increased temperatures in the transformer for long periods can result in damage and reduced lifetime of the transformer. From the problems then calculation of current and working time OGS and OCR as the Transformer 3 safety system. The result of calculation of OGS setting of phase1 is 1600 A with setting work time of 2 seconds, phase 2 is 1700 A with setting working time of 1,5 seconds and stage 3 of 1800 A with setting work time of 1 second. The OGS relay characteristic is definite. For OCR at 150 kV side, the current setting is 277 A and setting time is 1.36 seconds, while OCR setting at 20 kV side is obtained by setting current of 2078.4 A and setting time of 1.18 seconds with OCR Relay characteristic used is inverse.

Abstract

The selection of lightning rods in the Nusa Dua Highland housing estate aims to secure the housing area from lightning strikes, because the housing has not been protected by lightning rods and earthing system components which are very difficult because they have rocky soil types. The average number of lightning strikes per year with a density value of 31 per km2 and population density, land use for houses and buildings have a very high level of vulnerability, so lightning rods are needed to secure the Nusa Dua Highland residential area. Lightning rods to be used are conventional lightning rods or Evo Franklin (E.F). The selection of the type of lightning rod is done by analyzing technical and economical. The results achieved in this study are the type of lightning rod suitable for housing Nusa Dua Highland is the E.F lightning rod with an earthing system. Because from technical analysis, 1 E.F lightning rod is able to protect the entire residential area with 37,994 m2 of protection area from the 22,444 m2 housing area, while 1 conventional lightning rod is only able to protect 1 house from a total of 147 housing units. In terms of economical cost of installing E.F lightning rods is much cheaper at a cost of Rp. 104,450,000. Conventional lightning rods cost Rp. 14,390,000 for 1 housing unit and to protect the entire housing using conventional lightning rods needed 147 lightning rods at a cost of Rp. 2,115,390,000.

Abstract

Advances in network technology have encouraged the development of ad-hoc services. MANET is one of them. In MANET, a routing protocol is required that can facilitate communication reliably. To get this reliable routing, in this study simulation of two routing protocols, namely AODV and OLSR. In the Manhattan Grid Mobility (MGM) model with communication loads using the FTP protocol. The simulation results show that the end-to-end value of service quality is 0.00210 second and throughput of 0.353428 Mbps for high FTP load in AODV routing. While the OLSR protocol routing obtained end to end delay value is 0.00071 second and throughput of 0.532025 Mbps for high load load FTP. For high load FTP traffic loads, 0.042436 second response time upload and 0.085789 second time response download on AODV protocol routing. On the OLSR routing protocol the upload time response rate is 0.084756 second response time and 0.09271 seconds download time response.

Abstract

This research aims to design an applications of goods inventory system that uses barcode scanner on Android device. The desktop applications is based on Basic language and on for Android applications is developed using Java language. MySql database is store on online server, so that can be accessed by applications in Android mobile. The process of data exchange between Android and database is done by using web service to make distribution data easier.The result of making the application that is able to check the information status of goods stock availability via Android smartphone just by scanning the barcode listed on the goods. Indirectly this application can also increase the waiter’s service to the consumers.

Abstract

At the substation there are several electrical equipment including power transformers, power breakers, phase change devices, and protective equipment, to keep all equipment in the substation a grounding system is needed. To obtain a good earth system in the planning of the substation must pay attention to the type of soil. In this study there are several methods of earthing system analyzed, including: plate earthing system, mesh earthing system and grid-rod earthing system. This analysis aims to obtain a good earthing system design with a low earth resistance value. From the results of analysis and calculation of the earth grounding system, the earth resistance value is obtained using 34 plates of 0.3555 Ohm. The Earth Mesh system obtained the value of the ground resistance of 0.3447 Ohm with a distance of D is 10 meters then for the planning of the ground-up systems construction of the New Sanur subsite that will be used as a reference is a grid-rod ground system, with The length of the grid is 100 meters, and the width of the grid is 60 meters, then the optimization design obtained from the results of analysis and calculation is 0,3324 useing the distance between the conductor of the grid is 10 meters and the number of rod is 32 Rod.
