Abstract

This study examines the relationship between corporate governance in explaining the level of innovation of the company. The sample in this study uses companies that have a high level of liquidity in stock trading after the authoritarian era of the "New Order". This study uses a regression analysis tool to test the relationship between the two variables. As a result, this study found that corporate governance is an important factor that influences corporate innovation. The measuring instrument used to measure corporate governance in this study is the total number of commissioners in the company. The results of this study state that the total number of commissioners or corporate governance has a positive effect on the level of innovation of the company. This finding is very important for practitioners, especially for company managers who want to develop their company's innovations. Abstract

The results of this study concluded that the results obtained from Organizational Culture and Leadership Style on Employee Performance at PT. Metro Sea Ocean City is based on the calculation of multiple linear regression tests that the X1 variable (Organizational Culture) and X2 (Leadership Style) have a significant influence on employee performance. The existence of a positive relationship between the variables of Organizational Culture (X1) and X2 (Leadership Style) on the variable Y (Employee Performance) means that the variable X1 (Organizational Culture) and X2 (Leadership Style) has increased Y variable (Employee Performance). Vice versa, if the free variable is decreased, it will be followed degandecline, it will be followed by a decrease in the dependent variable. Variable X1 (Organizational Culture) and X2 (Leadership Style) have a relationship with the variable Y (Employee Performance).  Keywords: Organizational Culture and Leadership Style, Employee Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of liquidity ratios, profitability and firm size on stock prices with dividend policy as an intervening variable in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. The sample used in this study are 22 companies with the 2013-2017 research year. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression and sobel tests. The results of this study indicate that liquidity has no effect on dividend policy, liquidity has no effect stock prices, profitability do not affect on dividend policy, profitability has no effect on stock prices, while firm size has significant positive effects on dividend policy and stock price, dividend policy does not affect stock prices, dividend policy is not able to mediate liquidity, profitability and size of the company against stock prices Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability, Company Size, Stock Price, Dividend Policy

Abstract

Improving employee performance as optimal as possible is not an easy job, because there are many factors that influence this employee's performance improvement. One of them is employee work competencies carried out by the agency on the implementation of the work of its employees. Besides the competency function, another factor is the work environment. The formulation of the problem is whether there is a contribution to the work environment and work competencies both individually and jointly on the performance of employees at the Bandar Lampung City Health Office.The type of research used in this study is quantative research, with independent variables namely environment (X1) and work competency (X2) while the intended variable is dependent on employee performance (Y). Methods of collecting data based on sources using primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques with library research and field research include: observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Based on the results of research, work environment and communication has a contribution to the performance of employees at the Bandar Lampung City Health Office, this is proven by a hypothesis that states accepting statements of contribution between work environment and competency individually or together on the performance of employees of Bandar Lampung City Health Office . Keywords: Environment, Work Competence and Employee Performance

Abstract

The economic crisis that has happened shows that the agribusiness sector can survive, so that the development of the agribusiness sector is one of the priorities. Olein is one of the agribusiness commodities that are traded through futures contracts. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of spot and forward rates on futures rates on olein commodities on the Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (JFX) for the 2015-2017 period. The research method used is a quantitative method by testing the hypothesis whether the independent variables affect the dependent variable, that whether the prediction of futures rates can be made using the variable of the forward rates and spot rates. The method is done by observing the price data published at Bappebti and JFX. The data used are secondary data, obtained from bappebti.co.id and jfx.co.id. Testing is done after the data has passed the classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that forward rates do not affect futures rates, while spot rates affect futures rates. Keywords: Forward Rates, Spot Rates, Future Rates, Olein Commodity, Jakarta Futures Exchange

Abstract

The regional goverment is a public organization whose role is increasingly important in social development and services. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the magnitude of offects that leadership style and motivation (independent variables) have on the employee performance (dependent variable) in the district office of Sungailiat, Bangka Regency, and to determine which independent variabel has the most effect on the dependent variabel.This is a quantitative research with survey approach and a sample of 30 employees using cencus as sampling technique. In this study, the independent variables consist of leadership style and motivation while the dependent variable is employee performance. The instrument testing  uses validity test and reability test. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression with t test and F test. The result suggested that the two independent variables significantly affect amployee performance. This is shown in F test wherein the F count (9.493) > F table (3,33), while the significance rate was (0.001) < alpha at the rate of 5% or 0.05. Ha is accepted and Ho was rejected. The coefficent  of determinant Adjusted R Square was 0.369 or 36.9%, hence the simultaneous effect of X on Y is 36.3%. It is found in the t test that the t count 2.63 > t table 2.045 in XI, and in X2 the t count is 2.492 > t table 2.045. Therefore, it can be comcluded that the independent variables (X) have significant effects on the dependent variable (Y), either simultaneousy or individually. Keyword : Leadership Style, Motivation, and Employee Performance

Abstract

This research discusses the role of creative economy as a solution to overcome and assist economic growth in Indonesia. In this article, focusing on improving human resources to have ideas, creativity, creativity in creating something new or developing that has become something of economic value and can be produced. Besides that, human resources must also use technology to support the results of their creative ideas so that the production process becomes easier and more efficient.In this article, we explain the objectives of economic development and economic growth in Indonesia. In addition, this concept also has a goal to prosper and prosper the people.The method used in this study is literature study, which is a study of the main ingredients of the two components which are the subject of discussion, namely the study of creative economics and economic development. Also added with other books relating to the discussion presented. While the method used is descriptive analytic, namely by gathering actual and detailed information from the data obtained, explained further explained correctly collected, then analyzed directly for the purposes needed for the research made by analyzing content analysis data. Keywords: Creative Economy, Economic Development, Economic Growth, Unemployment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline, training education and work motivation on the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas in East Lampung Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causality test, by testing the independent variables on the dependent variable based on the supporting theories of each variable. Data collection research using questionnaire instruments to 25 respondents. Data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression tests.            Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that partially the influence of work discipline, training education and work motivation on the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas East Lampung Regency based on the results of SPSS output calculation, the significance value of the t test for three variables X1 (0,000), X2 (0,000 ) and X3 (0.001) 5 0.05. So Ho is rejected so that there is an influence of work motivation, training education and work motivation on performance. For F count = 61,089 and F table (k; n-k) = (3; 25-3) = (3; 23) = 3.03. Then 61,089 ˃ 3,03 so that the variables of work discipline, training education and work motivation have a simultaneous effect on the performance variables. For the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.897 or 89.7%. This shows that the variables of work discipline, training education and work motivation have a joint effect of 89.7% on the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas East Lampung Regency, while the remaining percentage is 100% - 89.7% = 10.3% influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Keywords : Work Discipline, Training Education, Work Motivation and the Performance of Bhabinkamtibmas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis likuiditas, working capital turn over dan profitabilitas. Selain itu untuk menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas dan working capital turn over terhadap profitabilitas pada PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, Tbk. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, pengujian hipotesis dan analisis regresi linier berganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat likuiditas dan profitabilitas perusahaan dari tahun 2009 – 2015 kurang baik karena dibawah rata-rata industri, sedangkan hasil analisis working capital turn over  baik karena di atas rata-rata industri.Hasil penelitian juga menunjukan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan tidak terjadi gejala asumsi klasik. Hasil estimasi regresi menunjukkan Y = – 0,007 – 0,012 X1+ 0,005X2. Secara simultan likuiditas dan working capital turn over mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas dengan signifikansi 0,042. Hasil pengujian secara parsial likuiditas dan working capital turn over tidak mempunyai pengaruh terhadap profitabilitas. Hal ini disebabkan tingginya nilai kewajiban lancar dibandingkan aset lancar, selain itu penjualan bersih meningkat dan diiringi dengan meningkatnya total aset lancar perusahaan tiap tahunnya. Kontribusi likuiditas dan working capital turn over adalah sebesar 69,4%.

Abstract

Program pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya merupakan peluang bisnis yang potensial, Berdasarkan data pangsa pasar jumlah mahasiswa pascasarjana periode 2015-2017, jumlah pangsa pasar program pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya hanya sebesar 4%. Data grafik jumlah mahasiswa baru pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya pada tahun 2009 terus mengalami kenaikan sampai dan penurunan terjadi pada tahun 2016 sampai dengan tahun 2017 dengan jumlah mahasiswa baru hanya 75 mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuota dan purposive sampling. Metode analisis data untuk mengukur efektivitas Iklan menggunakan CRI dan mengukur kesadaran merek menggunakan Analisis Kesadaran MerekHasil  Pada perhitungan CRI hasil analisis efektivitas iklan program pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya pada skala tingkatan efektivitas iklan cukup efektif.  Pada perhitungan Brand Awareness pada tingkatan Top Of Mind Program Pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya menempati urutan ke 3. Pada tingkatan Brand Recall Program Pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya belum mampu di ingat sebagai jawaban pertama setelah pertanyaan Top Of Mind oleh responden. Pada tingkatan Brand Recognition responden sudah mengetahui keberadaan Program Pascasarjana IIB Darmajaya. Pada tungkatan unaware brand terdapat 6 responden belum mengetahui program pascasarjana IIB Darmaajaya.Kata Kunci : Iklan, Kesadaran Merek, Pascasarjana, IIB Darmajaya
