Abstract

The Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) is an event to develop creativity and enrich science and technology in the field of robotics. In KRI, there are several branch categories, one of which is the KRPAI (Indonesian Fire Fighting Robot Contest) category. In the KRPAI category competition, the robot aims to find a room where there is a fire, then the robot will extinguish the fire in the room, and return to the starting point. This requires the robot to know its own actual position so that it can return to the starting point. This can be solved by adding artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence) artificial neural networks. One of the neural network models used for the learning process is backpropagation. It should be noted that in artificial intelligence systems, artificial neural networks in order to work optimally in identifying robot positions, it is necessary to do a learning process (learning) first in order to get the optimal weight value. The learning system is carried out by entering 280 position data samples that present 28 positions. Learning data is obtained by reading the distance between the robot and the maze wall and the direction facing the robot. To test the artificial neural network system, a running process is carried out to determine the position of the robot. From 140 trial data conducted, the artificial neural network was able to recognize the position of the robot correctly with an accuracy of 92.85%. The simulation results are expected to be applied to the actual quadpod robot.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a smart robot prototype that is able to attract toddlers' attention so that they can respond in the form of motor movements. The making of smart robots will be adjusted to the needs of toddler stimulation in the form of movement interactions approaching or away from objects so that toddlers are triggered to chase or avoid the robot. Educational games that are designed appropriately for toddlers can improve their motor development. This can occur due to stimulating activities from educational games that can stimulate the toddler's brain. Smart robots are one of the educational game technology products that apply the concept of the industrial revolution 4.0. The smart robot prototype design will use the Arduino Mega microcontroller. The microcontroller input is obtained from a proximity sensor that is implanted in the robot's body. The essence of the smart robot in this study is a dynamic and very flexible robot movement caused by the use of the omni wheel as a driving wheel.

Abstract

Unnamed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) technology of drone is widely used to carry out various mission such as photography, disaster monitoring, and area mapping. However, crash can be caused by environmental disturbances that hinders the completion of the mission. Moreover, an automatic control system is needed to handle this. In this study, the LQR control method is used to control the eleven and pitch angle so that the drone is able to maintain a stable lateral attitude. This control method has a fast and strong response in reaching a point of balance. Based on the test results, it show that the LQR control method applied is able to control the pitch angle and is able to make the drone maintain a lateral attitude, as evidenced by the disturbance at a pitch 20∘ the drone is able to maintain a lateral attitude with overshoot of 4.23∘, risetime of 0,7 second, settling time of 1,2 second with a steady state error trend of 0,78

Abstract

Raspberry Pi is a single board computer that the author uses as a voip server based on asterisk. To use this voip network, each device must have a static IP as well as be connected to a stable network. The advantage of using raspberry pi is that it no longer costs money to make voice calls for both package and pulse costs. The purpose and benefits of this research to know how raspi works, know how to install voip server using freepbx and asterisk, know how to install voip client on smartphones and laptops dang know the topology of raspi-based voip network, and know how to test stages of searching for throughput, loss package, delay, and jitter using wireshark

Abstract

Silk is one of the national cultural heritage with various motifs and patterns. This research aims to detect and classify the image of the silk cloth based on motive. This research uses Augemented Reality technology with Markerless Marker Tracking method. To display a 3D object, the proposed method uses a special pattern as a marker to recognize the fabric type. As a research sample, the authors used 10 types of bugis silk motifs. From the test results found that markers can detect fabric motifs in bright rooms and undetectable markers in dim rooms. The best distance in detecting markers is 10 cm – 50 cm.  Meanwhile at a distance of 110 cm, the marker cannot be detected.

Abstract

The increasing need for electrical energy encourages the birth of methods to utilize various forms of energy available in nature called energy harvestin. One of them is from electromagnetic waves that are massif used daily by the community. In this study, a rectifier antenna (rectenna) was created using a 5-stage voltage doubler method with the aim of generating DC electrical energy from the input of electromagnetic waves that propagate freely in the air. Electromagnetic waves are captured using two types of antennas with the aim of capturing different frequencies, namely UHF TV antennas with a working frequency of 470-806 MHz and WiFi antennas with a working frequency of 2400 MHz commonly used by the public. Because testing is conducted in open spaces, where environmental change conditions greatly affect the captured electromagnetic geombang encroachment, DC electrical power tends to change during testing. The largest DC electricity generated by WiFi antenna input is 1,420V and the average voltage is 231.7mV/min with a distance of 90cm from the largest frequency source and UHF TV antenna is 648mV and the average voltage is 478.16mV/min with a distance of 0 cm from the largestfrequency source

Abstract

Various kinds of problems are threatening homeowners from the danger of fire to the danger of theft. To reduce the crime rate that occurs in the community, especially the crime of theft and fire hazard, we need an Internet-based home security tool that can be used to access and obtain reports on the condition of the house directly. In this study the design of a unit of home security equipment was carried out using Arduino as a microprocessor to connect software and hardware by combining several sensors to monitor the home security. Sensors used include Passive Infra Red (PIR) to detect moving objects, MQ-2 sensors to detect smoke and solenoid door lock to lock doors that can be controlled and monitored through the android application as an interface used by its users. The research method used is the cryptographic method with the hill cipher algorithm as a safety data command given to the sensor device and door lock. The results of this study in the form of a home security system that is useful for monitoring the state of the house through an android mobile phone when detecting people or smoke that can endanger the situation when the house is empty, and can control the door lock and sensors remotely.

Abstract

This paper discusses the comparison of service quality between HTTP protocol and MQTT protocol implemented using internet of things to research on soil moisture around plants, quality of service compared to delay, jitter, throughput and packet loss. In this study the results showed that the HTTP and MQTT protocols have an average delay value below 150 or 63 ms. HTTP has an average jitter value between 0 - 62 ms, while MQTT has a jitter range value of between 0 - 16 ms. Whereas the HTTP throughput value is 88 ms and the MQTT protocol is 68 ms. Then for packet loss parameters both have the same quality as it generates a packet loss value of 0%. In this study it can be concluded that the use of http protocols is the superior protocol of MQTT in terms of quality of service.

Abstract

Motorcycles are one of the objects that are very prone to be stolen, anticipation of theft is not enough just to install a safety lock, but it needs to be equipped with monitoring and controlling systems to reduce theft of motorcycles because motorcycles aregenerally not equipped with GPS (Global Positioning System). In this final task, a Tracking Device or tracking tool is designed that can work in IoT. IoT (Internet of Things) is a computational concept of everyday objects connected to the internet and able to identify themselves to other devices. NodeMCU ESP8266 and Android smartphone are used as tracking device controller components. The signal or data obtained in the form of vehicle position coordinate data can be seen in googlemaps, and this tool is equipped with a relay that serves as a switch to turn the stolen motor on or off remotely. The test result of this tool, the user can control the motor from a very long distance as long as the deviceand the user still get internet access, the user can only give one command every 15 seconds, be it a command asking for the coordinates of the position of the vehicle or a command to turn off the motor

Abstract

Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) is a surveillance technology used in air navigation. This technology can view information in the form of 24 bit ICAO aircraft addresses, ident or squawk, latitude, altitude, nationality, speed, longitude, track and heading. The current development problem can only be done with the Flight Radar24 web-based application, so it requires an internet connection to operate. To solve this problem, the necessary hardware is needed that can receive ADS-B signal with a frequency of 1090MHz and can translate it into information. The RTL-SDR R820T2 is a software-based hardware device that can receive a wide range of signals from 25 MHz - 1700MHz. To maximize signal reception, an additional omnidirectional antenna is capable of receiving signals from all directions. With this system, it is expected to make it easier to fly directly without an internet connection.
