Abstract

Mountain is one of the tourist destination that are currently in great demand by various circles of society, sepecially for young people. This is evidenced by the increase in mountaineering tourist visiotr data that increase every years. The increase in public interest in mountaineering also leads to many cases of accidents. That occur duirng mountaineering, such as the loss climbers in mountainousareas, the loss of climbers on muntain tracks, and other accidents that must immediately require emergency assistance. The difficult to find by guards and others search teams. Therefore, in this study wa designed an Emergency Button tool for mountaineers designed to be able to perform the emergency call process when a person has an accident while in an inaccessible terrain such as mountains. It is integrated in the LoRa-based Multihop Communications System an Global Positioning System (GPS). Signals or data sently by climbers through the emergency button in the form of coordinate points of the location of climbers. The coordinates sent by the climbers will later be sent to the mountain guard post server which was previously via Relay, the coordinate data has been received will automatically be uploaded to thinkspeak so that it can be acces using the internet and converted into a google maps display from. It is hoped that this will make it easier to find the location of climbers accurately and quackly.

Abstract

A solar power plant or photovoltaic (PV) is a generator that converts energy from light into pollution-free electrical energy. However, changes in the intensity of solar radiation and ambeint temperature Photovoltaic (PV) which are not linear are the main problems of PV systems in efficient energy conversion that occurs. Control using the Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) method based on the Perturb and Observe (PO) algorithm which is applied to overcome these problems. Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) itself is a technique for tracking the maximum output power point of the PV system. MPPT will change the working point so that the converter will force the work of the solar panels according to their ability to always reach the maximum power point. MPPT is not a mechanical system that makes the solar panel system move according to the direction of the sun's intensity, but an electronic system that works to optimize the power output from the solar panel. Meanwhile, Algorithm (PO) works by detecting and disturbing the PV voltage periodically by varying its duty cycle, as well as observing the PV power to be able to increase and decrease the PV voltage in the next 3 cycles. This paper presents an analysis of the MPPT PO performance with a standalone system implemented in the campus area. In this study, the applied PV system was able to produce a maximum power of 1626.087 Watts under optimal irradiation conditions and temperature. As well as testing the PV system under radiation and temperature conditions in the location study, namely FT UNNES. The maximum power of the PV system is 227.585 Watt.

Abstract

LEDs in lighting systems have been widely used, including public street lighting systems. However, the selection of public street lights in Indonesia often does not use lumen calculations and light dimming technology. This study aims to improve energy consumption efficiency by replacing existing lamps with LED lamps according to the lumen calculation method and using a smart system in the form of automatic dimming of the lamps. The research study was carried out in two stages: the measurement of illumination using a lux meter and the analysis of energy consumption between the existing and the replacement. The replacement scenario is to replace the existing lamps with LED lamps equipped with an automatic dimming system based on lumen calculations. The lighting level is adjusted to Indonesian lighting standards, SNI 7391:2008, 2 to 5 lux. The result of the study is that carrying out a replacement scenario can increase energy consumption efficiency by 77.95%.

Abstract

One of the risks in the oil industry is leakage of gases that are toxic or flammable. Fire and Gas System (FGS) used to detect the release of hazardous gases then carry out mitigation actions which can be alarms, indicators, or shutdown systems. This study aims to make a simple prototype of Fire and Gas System in the manifold area with three pipelines (Line-A, Line-B, and Line-C). The output of the system includes indicator, alarm, and shutdown system (closing gas flow and activate the exhaust fan). The system is integrated with Delphi and Arduino. The decision making based on Sugeno fuzzy. Based on the results, it was found that the suitability of fuzzy system reached 100%. The monitoring is displayed in graphical form. While the system response is appropriate, but there is a delay of about 1.5 seconds. Protection system is able to normalize conditions in about 77.5 seconds.

Abstract

Electricity consumption measurement system with an embedded system device with Arduino-based technology combined with a current transformer sensor TA12-100 which is connected to the load of electricity consumption. Arduino microcontroller which functions as the main control system that will be connected to the computer, with the aim of future loads so that they can be monitored in real time. By experimenting with the assembly of the Arduino sensor module combined with the current transformer sensor TA12-100, it is continued by comparing the current measurements obtained from the TA12-100 sensor readings to the ampere meter pliers. The results of this study obtained a measurement data for house electrical energy consumption and the percentage error from the comparison of the TA12-100 sensor readings with the readings from the ampere meter measuring instrument. By conducting this research, it is possible to obtain data on what percentage of error is obtained from the use of the TA12-100 sensor, so that later from the experimental results, the TA12-100 sensor is able to properly and correctly monitor electricity consumption at house loads.

Abstract

One of the problems in the distribution of electrical power is the identification of the location of the disturbance in the distribution network of pt pln. Several methods have been proposed to determine the location of the disturbance including the nearest neighbor method, impedance method and nave bayes method, in this study the author proposes the naïve bayes method. The naïve bayes method is a classification method based on simple probability and is designed to be used with the assumption that between one class and another class are not mutually dependent (independent). In the naïve bayes classification, the learning process is more focused on estimating probabilities. From the results of the experiment using 30 samples, the average error value for comparison of identification using the nave bayes method and the direct tracing method in identifying the location of disturbances in the buagan feeder was 0.86% with an average difference between the actual distance and the distance in the program of 30.9 meters. . The results of the comparative analysis using paired samples statistics showed no significant difference at 0.05. In the results of the comparative analysis using anova one way at 0.01 there is no significant difference. This study serves to narrow the direct line area for handling electrical disturbances on the 20 kv network, so that in the event of an electrical disturbance on the 20 kv network it does not take a long time in the process of identifying the location of the electrical disturbance.

Abstract

Gangsa is a traditional jam musical instrument from Bali that has ten tone blades. This tool is played by hitting the blade and touching it for muted. This tool is quite expensive because of the materials and elements of art in it. In this study, designed and built a prototype of a modern and cheaper musical instrument for the needs of learning media. The prototype is designed to have a piezo-electric sensor connected to an Arduino Pro-mini as an input signal. This signal then passes the play threshold value as a determinant of whether the tone on a bar is played or not. The tone on each bar is stored on an SD-card with a PCM wav format of 12,000 kHz, 8 bits, mono. The next step after playing the bar tone is damping using a touch sensor. The sensor is designed using a darlington circuit and is connected to an Arduino as a tone-damping signal. The method is able to produce sound with good quality, but only for one bar. After playing the 5th bar, the quality of the resulting sound decreases even more. For that, a series of mixers is added for better and louder sound quality

Abstract

The disaster that hit Palu City recently caused changes in the quality of water consumed by the community. To find out whether it is feasible or not, we need a method to detect a water quality system that is easy to implement at an economical price to be used for daily needs. Therefore, a tool is designed to determine the quality of water that is sampled around the Tondo beach using the Fuzzy Logic method. This design was built using the Arduino module by combining four sensors, namely a pH sensor, a TDS sensor, a Turbidity sensor, and a temperature sensor. Water quality in this study was divided into three groups, namely drinking water (UM), washing water (UC), and unsuitable water (TL). The water quality benchmark value is known from combining the results of existing sensor readings, wherein sample 1, the value of water quality measured in the study is in the category not in accordance with the fuzzy value 10, in sample 2,the use of washing uses the fuzzy value of 45.68 and sample three is worth 26.4

Abstract

A deaf person is someone who has lost the ability to hear so that it hinders the process of language information through his listeners. In Indonesia, most of the population is Muslim and has more than 13,000 people with hearing impairments.In carrying out congregational prayers, it is difficult for the deaf to follow the instructions of the priest's movement. This study aims to make prayer aids technology for the Deaf is to assist in performing congregational prayers. The method used in this tool is to provide notifications in the form of different vibrations at every change in the priest's movement to the Deaf community. The device control system uses Arduino nano FT232RL FTDI FT232. The communication module uses HC-12 SI4463, with 433.4 – 473.0 MHz wireless frequency. The MPU6050 gyroscope sensor is employed for detecting changes in angle or motion, and a micro vibrator motor is used as a vibration indicator. Based on the conducted test, the designed Bracelet performed excellent results. It runs according to its working principle where the Bracelet used by the Imam will send a code, and the code is in the form of a change in the angle to the Bracelet used by the Deaf community in the form of vibration, the vibration at each prayer change will be different. Different vibration notifications on each Shalat movement can help the Deaf know the Imam's movement instructions.Furthermore, the prayer aids technology for the Deaf has a success rate of 89%. Thus, this tool can help the Deaf to perform congregational prayers.

Abstract

Higher education becomes a level of further education after pursuing a secondary education program. Tidar University is one of the public higher education institutions located in Central Java Province. Since its inception in 1979, Tidar University has only undergone a change in status to a public university in 2014. This change has an influence on the increase in the number of enthusiasts who want to study at Tidar University. In addition, there were several new study programs at Tidar University in different years which also led to an increase in the number of new students of Tidar University. However, the Covid-19 pandemic also brought an influence that led to a drastic decrease in the number of enthusiasts at Tidar University. This study tried to implement chen's fuzzy time series to predict the number of enthusiasts in the first 10 study programs of Tidar University. In this prediction process, the number of intervals used affects the forecasting results. To determine the number of intervals, the Sturges formula is used. The prediction results showed the smallest MAPE value of 5.7551% in the agrotechnology study program and the largest MAPE at 28.3936% in the accounting D3 study program
