Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive multimedia-based learning model ProblemBased Learning (PBL) in the physics subject of fluid dynamic valid, practical, and knowing itspotential effects. The method used is a research development (development research) withmeasures Akker research development which consists of four stages: (1) the stage ofpreliminary examination; (2) the stage of theoretical adjustment; (3) empirical testing phase,and (4) the stage of documentation, analysis, and reflection on the process and results. At thisstage of empirical test using Tessmer formative evaluation model which consists of five stages:(1) self-evaluation; (2) expert reviews; (3) one-to-one evaluation; (4) small group; and (5)field test. The instrument used in this study is the validation sheet, interview, questionnaire,and achievement test. This research has produced an interactive multimedia PBL valid with apercentage score of validity of the product obtained from the validator of 92.75% with a veryvalid category. Interactive multimedia PBL has a percentage score practicality of the productobtained in small group step amounted to 81.15% with the category of very practical. N-Gainobtained in field test step of 0.4 with medium category. Based on the research results, it can beconcluded that the interactive multimedia-based learning model Problem Based Learning(PBL) in physics subject of fluid dynamic developed has met the criteria of validity andpracticality as well as having a potential effect on learning outcomes of students with moderatecategory.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the affective and cognitive aspects of learning optics with an interactive demonstration approach . Research using experimental design and involving as many as 33 candidates for the fifth semester of physics teacher in East Kalimantan LPTK as research subjects . Quantitative data was collected using observation sheet for affective aspects and models of multiple-choice test instruments for the cognitive aspects . The results showed that the affective assessment showed their role to improve learning . Prospective teachers show things that are associated with such emotional feelings, values ​​, appreciation , antuisme , and motivation in classes to improve cognitive abilities . Phase affective aspects have shown that the percentage of appropriate behavior comprises the step of receiving , responding to , respect, organization , and characterization . The cognitive abilities of future teachers has increased by 0.48 N -gain .

Abstract

Purpose of activities to be achieved is to increase knowledge, understanding and skills of high school teachers of Srijaya Negara Palembang in understanding and making media-based learning e-learning so as to increase knowledge, facilitate its tasks and can increase motivation and learning outcomes of high school students of  Srijaya Negara Palembang. This objective can be achieved using a model of devotion that Model B (Assistance) and methods of implementation of this method II (Assistance), specifically methods: (1). Training in the form of presentation of training materials on the history of the Internet, the creation of e-learning using e-learning web This event was accompanied by the entire design team, and (2). Assignment to make all forms of teaching materials based e-learning courses that correspond to each. Based on the results of observation during the activities, it appears that activity in case the participants are very good, this can be seen from the number of training activity indicators that appear. As well as the results of a questionnaire given to participants at the end of the activities, 93% of participants are satisfied with this activity. The training has been able to achieve the expected goals, it can be seen from the tasks given to the participants can be resolved. The expected results of the training participants can be used to develop learning media according to field of study that are taught in schools respectively.

Abstract

Analytical skills and the ability to evaluate the capabilities required to master students in solving problems in physics . Analysis and evaluation is also important to have in the material of heat because some of the concepts of heat that occurs in everyday life is not in accordance with the theory . This research is a descriptive study that aims to determine the level of analytical skills and ability to evaluate students in working on the concept of heat . The instrument used in this study of the test material type description kalor.Berdasarkan data analysis can be described that level analytical skills of students on three indicators of differentiating has a value of 16.6 , 46.6 and attributing organizing of 7.2 . In the analytical skills of students is at a low level . To evaluate the ability of obtained scores of 86.6 for checking and critiquing the score for the indicator value is at a low level of 23.3 .

Abstract

It has done other research development to produce instructional media web-based e-Learning courses Introduction to Physics Core. Development of research models used is the 4D model, which includes the step of defining, designing, development, and deployment. At defining stage consists of front-end analysis, analysis of student, tasks and concepts, as well as learning objectives. At the design stage consisted of drafting to design activities carried out in the form of e-Learning web. Then, the stage of development consists of e-Learning web validation, and test limited to the students to see the practicality. While the deployment phase is not implemented. The instruments used are (1) sheet validation experts (2) student questionnaire responses, and (3) observation sheet. Based on the assessment of experts, the average total validity (RTV) e-Learning web-developed is the web RTV ≤ 4 ≤ 5, namely sebesar4,55. RTV values ​​are included in the category of very valid. Based on the questionnaire responses of students who tested on 31 students, web e-Learning practical expressed with a percentage of 75.44% and the percentage of enforceability limited trial based on observation of student activity 84.03%. It was concluded that the e-Learning web courses Introductory Physics Core has been developed to meet the criteria of validity and practicality as well as meet the rules of development in accordance with the purpose of learning and applicable curriculum

Abstract

Development research test instrument math base on introduction nuclear physics lecture has been done. The method used is quantitative descriptive stages as follows: (1) Review basic math content that is relevant to the related nuclear physics through the study of literature; (2) Prepare draft test instruments with reference to the objectives, competence standard, basic competence, and indicators of achievement of design lectures were arranged; (3) Ask the expert assessment (validation construction and content); (4) To test the test instrument in a limited scope, evaluate and improve the existing deficiencies. The amount of matter that is developed in this test is 30 grains form the description. Data analysis test results of this test instruments in the group of students showed that the validity criteria are high, which is equal to 0.77. The instrument reliability was 0.87 which included a very high category. This means the resulting product meets the decent criteria, because validan reliable, but there are still items that need revision based on suggestions and feedback from the validator.

Abstract

Reflection and refraction of light propagation always take advantage of the depiction. To understand the concepts of reflection and refraction can be done by describing the reflected ray and rays refracted ray if the boundary of an object field of optics . The purpose of this study was to diagnose mastery of concepts students about the concept of reflection and refraction through the representation of the image . The study was conducted by giving a matter against 40 students who have taken Physics Education course Fiska Basic II . Problem consists of six items ray images come in different shapes optical object , then the student completed the reflected rays and refraction rays after the optical boundary . The analysis was based on the answers of students in the form of image refraction and reflection.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze argumentation of students in senior high school the first grade in Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang about Elastisitas and Hook Law’s Subject with the Argumentation Skill Through Toulmin. Theory Argumentation Toulmin is intruments the data’s collect for analyze the student’s argumentation. Data, Claim, Warrant, Backing, Qualifier, and Rebutal are component parts of Theory Argumentation Toulmin.The Result of analyze about student’s argumenatation Data 92 %  student that know the information they have, the fact or evidence used to prove the argument, Claim 92% Student can write their opinion as their argumentation, the statement being argue. Warrant 81% the general, hypothetical logical statement that serve as bridges between the Claim and Data,  74% Backing, Statements that serve to support the warrants, prove the main point being argued, but which do prove the warrants are true , 38% Qualifiers, Statements taht limit the strength of asrguments or statements that purpose the conditions under which the arguments is true. and the lastRebuttals 93% Conter-arguments or statements indicating circumstance when the general argument does not hold true.

Abstract

The Problems that examined in this study is : Does the use of props in the form of the pendulum and the stand can increase student interest and learning outcomes VIII.2 grade SMPN 3 Pemulutan on the material Vibration? The purpose of this action research are: Increasing interest and student learning outcomes VIII.2 grade SMPN 3 Pemulutan through the use of props in the material Vibration 2014-2015 school year. This study used action research (action research) as much as two rounds. Each round consists of four phases: design, activities and observation, reflection, and refisi. Data obtained in the form of test results, students' interest observation sheet. From the analysis it was found that the achievement of learning outcomes of students has increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely, the first cycle (33.33%), Cycle II (79.16%). While the interests of students has increased from the first cycle there are only 4 people are quite interested in 16.66%, in the second cycle students' interest in emerging categories because there are 13 people that is 54.16%. The conclusion from this study is the use of props in the form of a pendulum and the stand on the matter could Vibration positive effect on interest and Student Results SMPN 3 Pemulutan.

Abstract

This study aims produces a spectroscopic laboratory manual of modern physics, which is valid and practical. This is the development research that uses 4D (four-D model) which is modified into a 3D stage. 4D development model that used includes the steps are defining (define), stage design (design) and stage of development (develop) combined with Tessmer formative evaluation phase which includes the step of self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one and small group evaluation. laboratory manual based on criteria developed practical guides consisting of the title experiments, experimental purposes, the basic theory, tools and materials, experimental procedure, observation data, data analysis and conclusions. Spectroscopic laboratory manual with a simple tool modification has been success developed that divided into four trials that determine the Rydberg constant of the hydrogen atom, determine the energy transition Helium atom, and determines the wavelength of the optical spectrum and the determination of the frequency of the laser beam. Data collected through interviews, expert validation, observation and questionnaire responses of students. Results of the validation test of the three aspects of assessment validator average gain of 4.53 with the category of very valid and the results of the questionnaire responses of students gained an average percentage of 89.28% with a very practical category. The weakness in this study is the lack of prior knowledge of students in using Matlab software and the limitations of the tool so that the pilot phase of respondents using practical tools alternately on each trial. aboratory manual that have been developed can be used by the student in the learning activities by using practical methods, especially in the matter of atomic theories of modern physics course.
