Abstract

The course of Database System includes theory and practice . Consequently the students should master the theory before, they do the practice. The theory is provided by the course with a course book of Borland Delphy programming database system. The Borland Delpy program provides the operational instructions in English. To operate the program then they should understand the instructions. By understanding the instructions hopefully they can operate the program to produce listing of program codes and component graphs. To aquire the skill, they need to practice. The question undert study is which variable plays more significantly in acquiring the skill, their understanding the English instructions or their practice frequency. To find out the answer an ex post facto study was conducted at PGRI University Semarang to undergraduate students majoring in Information Technology Education, PMIPATI Faculty who were taking the course of Database System at semester 3. There were 2 classes with 21 students in each class, 16 of which were included in the study, so there were 32 participants of the study. There were 3 types of data in the study: (1) the data of the students skill in understanding Borland Delhpy Program operational instructions in English, (2) the data of practice frequency, and (3) the data of the mastery of operating Borland Delphy program. The first two data were collected bu using tests, and the third was collected by using a questionairre. It can be concluded from the follow up analyses and the partial correlation coefficient test that ability to understand English instructions in Borland Delphy program had a significant role in the ability to operate it. It was proven by the follow up analysis of t1=5,385>tsig.5%=2,04. It resulted from the course book in Indonesian they used as well as their paying attention to the operational instructionals of the program in English. On the other hand the practice frequency did not significantly contribute to the skill. It was confirmed by the follow up analysis of t2=-0,029<tsig.5% =2,04. It means the less they practice, the less skillful they were in operating the program and in understanding the English instructions of the Borland Delphy program. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop mathematical learning devices using models TAI (Team Assisted Individualizaion) bernantuan interactive CD on elementary school students. This research is the development research, with the learning of mathematics using the model of TAI (Team Assisted Individualizaion) bernantuan interactive CD developed and tested can deliver students achieve KKM. Based on the value of learning research class average is 74 and 67, classical completeness reached 85% and 76%. Although the classical completeness is high, there are still some students who have high levels of learning achievement are different. Results of the questionnaire responses of students in the learning device models that use the TAI is very good and can be used. They were very enthusiastic about the show high activity especially with an interactive CD-assisted learning with the bias make students interested and excited to learn. Math learning tools developed include lesson plans, interactive CD, achievement test is valid according to experts, the results of the validation study by three validator showed good results. Mathematics learning devices using models TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) assisted interactive CD developed to be effective due to complete in achievement test and no influence on the test results of learning activities. Abstract

The aims of this research was to develop learning device of Advanced Calculus 1 subject with scaffolding-based problem-solving abilities that include syllabi, lesson plan, learning media, student worksheets and assessment, and determine the effectiveness of the implementation of scaffolding-based learning problem-solving abilities in the subject Advanced Calculus 1.This research was a Research and Development (R & D). Methods of data analysis done by using triangulation mix-design method by simultaneously analyze data from quantitative and qualitative data as well as data combined. The results showed that the development of the learning course Advanced Calculus 1 with scaffolding based problem solving ability using learning device development of Borg and Gall models which has been modified. Results of learning device development course Advanced Calculus 1 consists of a syllabi, lesson plan, student worksheet, observation sheets and feasible achievement test used. Furthermore limited trial obtained tvalue ?»Ôé¼?¢7,440 ?»Ôé¼?¥ttable ?»Ôé¼?¢1,645so H0 is rejected. Abstract

From the results of preliminary observations made against six graders State Bandungrejo1 Karanganyar District of Demak, the author feels there are still shortcomings in study Natural Sciences with the subject matter to classify objects that are conductors and insulators of electricity. Deficiencies in learning Natural Sciences is because teachers have not been using the method of learning interesting and challenging student activity. This study uses a Class Action Research (PTK). The design of this research action research (Action Research) by using the spiral model. The stages in the implementation of this research is conducted through two cycles. In the classroom action research was used the analysis of quantitative data such as cognitive learning outcomes assessment. This is indicated by the results of the learning improvement obtained average value and completeness increased. The average value before the improvement of learning is then increased to 73.75 67.19 to 81.25 in the first cycle and the second cycle. Percentage of completeness students also increased, where before it was held instructional improvement, the percentage of completeness only 69.00% then increased to 86.00% in the first cycle and 100% in the second cycle. Pengguanaan experimental method can improve students' ability to identify and classify objects that are conductors and insulators of electricity. Abstract

The research with the tittle is ?óÔé¼?ôProfile Analysis of Students Multiple Representation on Real Analysis Subjects based on The Principle of Learning Theory by David Ausubel?óÔé¼?Ø has purpose to describe profile of students multiple representation based on the principle of learning theory by David Ausubel. This reserach is qualitative-exploratif research. Qualitative research because the procedure produce descriptive data that is written or spoken words from subject of research, and explorative research because this research express students profile of multiple representation on solving problem in real analysis subject. The data of this research got from written students?óÔé¼Ôäó work on solving problem of real analysis problem based on the principle of meaningfull learning and interview transcript from research subject. There are three subject in this research that have different level of self-efficacy. The location of research is in mathematics education study program, PGRI Semarang University. The result of this research are the multiple representation of subject with medium (M3) and low (M4) level of independecy is not shown, but the multiple representation of subject with high independency (M2) can be shown in verbal and picture representation. The dimention of thinking based on meaningfull learning by David Ausubel that are: the dimention of thinking with procedure orientation, process orientation, object orientation, concept orientation and versalite can not shown on subject with low and medium level of indenency, but the diemention of thinking with process. concept, object orientation can be shown on subject with high level of independency. The versalite stage is not shown by subject with high, medium, and low level independency, but they can shown the stage of conceptual thinking. Abstract

Instructional materials to write scientific papers in the Indonesian language and literature curriculum perluh developed based on the needs of students. In the development of teaching materials for students to write scientific papers should be adapted to the context of the students who have character values ?óÔé¼ÔÇ??óÔé¼ÔÇ?by integrating the values ?óÔé¼ÔÇ??óÔé¼ÔÇ?of character education. So that students not only get the Indonesian language and literature materials, but students gain experience that attitudes and provision of useful characters in his life. Character education can be loaded in the teaching materials is one of them is wisdom. In this study the development of teaching materials produced products to accommodate the needs of the teaching material to write scientific papers and the introduction of local wisdom. In the approach used in this study is research and development (R & D). The data sources of this study consisted of students and faculty. Abstract

This research is a model research of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development in bilingual learning as method to maintain local wisdom. The model of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development in bilingual learning as method to maintain local wisdom start with needs analysis then develop and construct the learning model. The learning model is expected to be used by kinder garden teacher as reference to increase student?óÔé¼Ôäós communication ability in bilingual learning through traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development. This research continued with prior study by literacy analysis and construct learning draft model then made research instruments. The last step of this research was wrote learning model of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development in bilingual learning as method to maintain local wisdom. The result of this research show t-table 0.05 value was 2.042 beside the t-test result was 3.61. t-test result was higher than t-table, it mean that the research hypothesis was accepted and student?óÔé¼Ôäós communication has significantly result after learning model of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development was applied in learning process. Abstract

Supervisory Unit Kindergarten of sub-district Bulu Abstrak Educational Research Office is done at the Sub-District Education Officein?é?á Bulu,District : Temanggung, the subject and object of study is a number of 15 Head of kindergarten. The study aims to determine the increase skill/capacity of kindergarten as Supervisor, at the District Education Office of Bulu, and to knowthe?é?á activity and?é?á spirit of the Head Office of Head of Kindergarten at The Educational Unit, Sub-District Bulu during joining the Skill Training For The Job. The research analysis uses comperative discriptive?é?á and procentage discriptive. Results of the study showed that the knowledge aspects and concepts of supervision, head of the kindergarten gained an average score of 46.66, or (D) the category of "less", while the head of the TK ability as supervisor obtained an average score of 30.65, or (D), the category of "Less" The results of this study, after training with two cyclus increased. Aspects of knowledge and insight of Kindergarten Head about academical supervisi and managerial increased with classical completeness 100%, with an average score of 86 or A, the category of "Very Good". Attitude aspects and activity increased with classical completeness 95%, average scores average 79.71 or (B), the category of "Good". While theaspect?é?á of Kindergarten Head as a Supervisor?é?á increased with classical completeness by 94.07%, with an average score, 82.39, the category of "Good" .Based on this results of this study, the purpose of this study was to knowthe upgrades of?é?á kindergarten Head as a supervisor and activities / spirit of the heads of kindergartens in Tasked Implementing Unit ( UPT ) Educational Authorities in Sub-District Bulu by training :Skill Training For The Job reached. Abstract

This study aimed to obtain a valid media Mobile Learning for self-learning students in material introduction transmission media. In this study using respondents the third semester students as much as 2 classes Study Program University of Information Technology Education PGRI Semarang. Development of Mobile Learning media is done with 4 stages adapted from Akker (1999), which includes 1) Analysis Introduction, 2) Design, 3) evaluation, 4) Revision. Processing the data using descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. Appropriate statistical analysis of test results on the t-test for Equality of Means obtained sig (2-tailed) in value after was <0.05. It can be concluded that the value of mobile learning conditions applied after better than before deploying mobile learning. Gained an average of learning outcomes (Mean) is better between the experimental class of 83.44 compared with 79.33 for the control class. From the results obtained instructional media android based Mobile-Learning valid for self-learning students in material introduction transmission medium. ?é?á Keywords : Mobile-Learning, Material of Transmission Media, Android

Abstract

The formulation of the problem of this research was how much improvement of the students?óÔé¼Ôäó activity and learning outcomes, and the change of the students?óÔé¼Ôäó behavior by using Project Based Learning Model for the students of Class XI IPA 5 of SMA Negeri 3 Demak. This PTK was done in two cycles. There was a changing in learning behavior from the students?óÔé¼Ôäó enthusiasm in learning, the interaction between the students and the teacher, the interaction between the students themselves, the teamwork, the students?óÔé¼Ôäó activity in group discussion, the students?óÔé¼Ôäó efforts in following the learning process, and the students?óÔé¼Ôäó participation in concluding the learning material. The result of cycle 1 was 28 (65,12 %) of the students completed the learning process, and 15 (34,88 %) did not complete the learning process. The class average was 71,74 in cycle 1 and increased to 81,35 in cycle 2. Keywords: project based learning method, learning activity, learning achievement.
