Abstract

Grammar is supposed to be taught to young learners in a kind of nature ways that students will not be aware that they are learning grammar. The approach that can be applied in teaching grammar to young learners is using game-like activities, role-playing/drama, and TPR. Those methods of teaching can be used in the process of teaching learning so that it can make the English lesson become fun and exciting for young learners. The aims of this research are to study and describe the development of children’s intelligence from the viewpoint of learning abilities and mention such methods that are related to natural ways of learning which follow the principles of the development. All the issues mentioned will be involved in the theoretical part. Using the natural ways of teaching Grammar techniques; puzzle in chain words, one word story game, literature in reading and writing story game, and TPR game was able to improve the students’ ability in mastering Grammar at the point of constructing positive, negative, and interrogative sentence that can be seen from the average of the pre-test score (72.19) and the post-test score (80.12). The result of the pre-test score was lower (72.19) than the post-test score (80.12). This research is quite urgent as the technique of teaching grammar that has already been applied in English class is still using the conventional technique. At present, most of the English teachers prefer giving the presentation of grammar theory to giving grammar activities that will enable students to learn without they are aware that they are studying grammar. In order to change the presentation of the materials that stil uses the conventional techniques in teaching grammar, it is important for English teachers to make the use of natural ways of learning techniques applied in teaching grammar to young learners.

Abstract

This research is a model research of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development in bilingual learning as method to maintain local wisdom. The model of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development in bilingual learning as method to maintain local wisdom start with needs analysis then develop and construct the learning model. The learning model is expected to be used by kinder garden teacher as reference to increase student?óÔé¼Ôäós communication ability in bilingual learning through traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development. This research continued with prior study by literacy analysis and construct learning draft model then made research instruments. The last step of this research was wrote learning model of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development in bilingual learning as method to maintain local wisdom. The result of this research show t-table 0.05 value was 2.042 beside the t-test result was 3.61. t-test result was higher than t-table, it mean that the research hypothesis was accepted and student?óÔé¼Ôäós communication has significantly result after learning model of traditional snack as simulation media of child?óÔé¼Ôäós development was applied in learning process. Abstract

AbstractBrain Gym to maximalise the potensial of the young children in Himpaudi Kecamatan Tembalang is a kind of workshop given to the teachers in order to implement Brain Gym so as to overcome the learning problems of the young children. The materials that are given to the teachers are about how to understand about the concept of Brain Gym, the theories of Brain Gym, the practice of the Brain Gym that is able to give great contribution to overcome the students?óÔé¼Ôäó learning problems. The movement of Brain Gym consists of 26 movements. Brain Gym covers three areas of brain dimention, those are literary, focus, and centralisation. The first part of brain dimention is related to the dimension of left and right brain that has relation with the ability of communication. The second part of brain dimension is related to front and back dimension of the brain that relate to the stem of the brain and it has correlation with the ability of concentration, understanding and interpretation. The last dimension of brain is related to centralisation that has relation with up and down part of the middle part of the brain. It relates to the capability of arranging and organizing something. With the implementation of IbM Brain Gym, it is hoped that the teachers in Himpaudi Kecamatan Tembalang Semarang are proactive enough to implement this kind of gym so as to anticipate and to overcome the learning problems of the students.Key Words: Brain-Gym, Three Dimension of Brain, Literary, Focus, CentralisationAbstrakIpteks yang akan ditransfer kepada HIMPAUDI Kecamatan Tembalang Semarang adalah pelatihan konsep dasar dan teori Brain-Gym. Pelatihan Brain-Gym sangat besar manfaatnya untuk mengatasi problem belajar anak. Senam otak ini terdiri dari 26 gerakan. Brain-Gym atau senam otak meliputi tiga dimensi otak yang utama yaitu lateralitas, fokus, dan pemusatan. Dimensi otak yang pertama yaitu lateralitas terkait dengan dimensi otak kiri dan kanan yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan komunikasi. Dimensi otak yang kedua adalah fokus, terkait dimensi muka-belakang dengan melibatkan batang otak yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan konsentrasi, mengerti, dan memahami. Dimensi otak yang terakhir adalah pemusatan, terkait dimensi atas-bawah dengan melibatkan otak tengah yang berhubungan dengan kemampuan mengatur dan mengorganisasikan sesuatu. Melalui Brain-Gym untuk guru Himpaudi Kecamatan Tembalang, diharapkan para guru dapat menerapkan senam otak ini sebagai bagian dari program kegiatan sekolah yang harus dilaksanakan pada tiap minggunya sebagai bagian dari pelajaran olah raga, sehingga manfaatnya tidak hanya untuk kebugaran siswa tetapi secara tidak langsung juga memberikan manfaat untuk mengatasi problem belajar anak.Kata Kunci: Brain-Gym, Tiga Dimensi Otak, Lateralitas, Fokus, Pemusatan

Abstract

Abstrak Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang akan di transfer kepada HIMPAUDIKecamatan Tembalang Semarang adalah pelatihan bagi guru-guru PAUD dalamimplementasi TPR Warm Up Game dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Berbasisendidikan Karakter bagi Guru-guru PAUD di Kecamatan Tembalang Semarangehingga guru-guru PAUD dapat menerapkan pengajaran bahasa Inggris yangmenyenangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak. Ada tiga materi yang disampaikan dalampelatihan ini yaitu: (1) Pendidikan Karakter/Character Building, (2) Perkembangan danKreativitas Anak Usia dini, dan (3) Total Physical Response (TPR) Warm Up Game. elama pelatihan atau workshop guru-guru PAUD diberi pelatihan bagaimana mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris denganmenggunakan metode pembelajaran TPR Warm Up Game yang bertujuan untukmeningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Guru-guru PAUD juga berlatih untukmengembangkan ide-ide mereka dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dengan metode TPRWarm Up Game yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak usia dini dan juga kurikulumang ada di Taman Kanak-kanak ataupun PAUD.Kata kunci: TPR Warm Up Game, Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, Pendidikan Karaker

Abstract

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) is an approach in which the content and the learningactivities applied according to the needs of the English learners. This experimental study involved 26students from the fifth semester of Indonesian Language Education Department at University of PGRISemarang. The data were collected using five different instruments; observation, field notes, interviews,documentation, and performance tests. The data were analyzed using t-test formula and compared to t-table. The results of this study indicate that there is significant value between the pre-test and post-test results. The result of the calculation of t-test is 9.97. Because the t-table is 2.04, it can be concluded that the t-test> ttable. The data shows that the result of the t-test is higher than t-table, it means that the accepted hypothesis is a positive hypothesis which says that "Hi: There is a significant improvement of speaking competence in the case of performing the idea of the elements of the story in the folklores after being taught using Communicative Purpose Based Approach.”

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian model pembelajaran bilingual FFVP (Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program)sebagai salah satu upaya pendidikan kesehatan dan gizi untuk anak usia dini sebagai acuan dalam meningkatkankemampuan komunikasi anak usia dini dalam pembelajaran bilingual melalui FFVP (Fresh Fruit & VegetableProgram) sebagai salah satu upaya pendidikan kesehatan dan gizi untuk anak usia dini. Hasil dari t-test lebih tinggidari t-table 2.14, ini berarti bahwa hipotesis yang diterima adalah Hi yang menyatakan bahwa ada nilai signifikandari kemampuan komunikasi siswa dalam pembelajaran bilingual setelah model pembelajaran FFVP (Fresh Fruit &Vegetable Program) sebagai salah satu upaya pendidikan kesehatan dan gizi untuk anak usia dini diterapkan dalamproses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The integration of interactive applications in bilingual physical education has emerged as a promising approach to enhance learning outcomes. This study aims to explore the benefits of using interactive apps in bilingual physical education settings. The research employs a quantitative methodology, involving the collection and analysis of data from students and teachers who use these applications. Surveys and standardized tests were administered to measure the impact on student engagement, knowledge retention, and overall physical performance. The findings reveal that interactive apps significantly improve student engagement and motivation, leading to better performance in physical activities and a deeper understanding of bilingual instructions. Additionally, teachers reported an increased ability to deliver complex concepts effectively and manage diverse classroom dynamics. These results suggest that interactive apps are a valuable tool in bilingual physical education, promoting both language acquisition and physical fitness. Future research should focus on long-term impacts and explore the integration of such technology in different educational contexts.
