Abstract

Daily habits and activities of students may affect their quality of sleep. The purpose of this study is to know whether aerobic exercise can improve sleep quality for female students. The method of this study is pre experimental which used one group pre-test and post-test design. Nineteen students of physiotherapy had volunteered in this study, they were at the age of 18-21 (mean 19,68 ± 1,06) years old. Participants joined to do aerobic exercise for 6 weeks which was 3 times a week and 60 minutes duration for each exercise. Measurement of sleep quality used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) before exercise and 6 weeks after doing the exercises. The result of this study was the average of global score before exercise was 7,89 (SD ± 1,82) and the mean value after 6 weeks of exercise was 3,89 (SD ± 1,79). Statistical analysis of the data used non-parametric wilcoxon test, the result was (p=0,001). It can be concluded that the global score decrease before and after aerobic exercise, which means an increase in the quality of sleep on the female students after doing aerobic exercise for 6 weeks.

Abstract

Waktu reaksi adalah interval antara permulaan stimulus dan inisiasi respon gerakan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi waktu reaksi adalah usia, jenis kelamin, penggunaan tangan dominan, intensitas rangsangan, kelelahan, olahraga, dan IMT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan waktu reaksi visual berdasarkan tingkat aktivitas fisik pada mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Udayana. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional analytic yang dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2019. Total sampel penelitian ini adalah 88 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok penelitian berdasarkan tingkat aktivitas fisik. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah tingkat aktivitas fisik dan variabel terikatnya adalah waktu reaksi visual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p=0,003 (p<0,05) dengan nilai rerata waktu reaksi visual pada kelompok aktivitas fisik aktif dan kelompok aktivitas fisik kurang aktif masing masing 462,77±50,116 ms dan 513,36±95,757 ms. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan waktu reaksi visual yang signifikan berdasarkan tingkat aktivitas fisik pada mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Udayana, dimana waktu reaksi visual pada kelompok aktivitas fisik aktif lebih cepat dibandingkan kelompok aktivitas fisik kurang aktif. Abstract

ABSTRAK Lack of attention and stimulation from parents led to increased dependence of children to parents. Lack of stimulation from parents led to delays in the development of fine motor skills of children. Disability of children do fine motor movements are movements that involve small muscles like writing in accordance with his age can cause a child to feel insecure and inferior. This study is an experimental research using randomized designs Pre and Post Test Two Group Design dengab sampling technique is simple random sampling. The treatment group was given training Brain Gym I and II treatment groups are given functional and recreational activities (AFR). Results of paired samples t-test found a significant difference with p = 0.000 (p <0.05) in group I and group II. Different test difference with Mann Whitney showed a significant difference between the treatment groups I and II treatment group p = 0.000 (p <0.05), it was concluded that the intervention of the Brain Gym is better in improving the fine motor skills of preschool children (ages 5-6 years) rather than functional and recreational activities (AFR). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of Contract Relax Stretching on IFC’s and Ultrasonic’s interventions for reduce of pain on myofascial syndrome of supraspinatus muscle. The samples obtained at Indra Hospital of Bali Province, conducted in May-August 2011. With a sample of 20 people both men and women, ages 44-59 years sampled. The number of samples divided into 2 groups: a control group of 10 people with IFC and Ultrasonic intervention and 10 treatment groups with the IFC, Ultrasound and Contract Relax stretching. Supraspinatus muscle miofasial syndrome is a condition characterized by an hypersensitive region called the trigger area in the muscle or loose connective tissue in the shoulder which, together with the presence of a specific inflammatory response in areas related to the trigger point when the trigger area is given a stimulation. This condition is obtained by purposive sampling in accordance with existing assessment table. The reason for the existence of macro trauma and poor posture microns. Data processing and statistical analysis using the Program for Social Science (SPSS). Ultrasonic IFC and have a therapeutic effect is a reduction in pain. Wilcoxon test results in the control group with a P value of 0.012 (p <0.05), which means there is a significant effect on pain reduction. Based on the reduction of the graph looks more sharp pain treatment group compared with the control group. Obtained from Mann Whitney test p 0.007, which means there is a very significant effect of adding the group treated with the control group. Thus the application of IFC, Ultrasound and Contract Relax stretching is very effective and optimal conditions can nmengurangi pain syndrome miofasial supraspinatus muscle.

Abstract

Setiap gerakan tubuh yang dihasilkan oleh otot rangka yang memerlukan pengeluaran energi, dan kerja ototdisebut dengan aktivitas fisik. Peningkatan IMT terjadi oleh karena ketidakseimbangan energi antara asupan makanandengan energi yang dikeluarkan hingga menyebabkan penumpukan energi dalam bentuk lemak yang dapatmengakibatkan obesitas atau peningkatan IMT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara aktivitasfisik dengan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) pada remaja usia 16-18 tahun di SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar. Penelitian analitikdengan pendekatan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret tahun 2018. Pengambilan sampeldilakukan secara Simple Random Sampling. Sampel berjumlah 70 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanyahubungan antara aktivitas fisik dengan indeks massa tubuh. Pada perhitungan analisis data chi square dapat diketahuinilai signifikan (2-tailed) adalah 0,000 dimana berarti nilai signifikan p < 0,05. Disimpukan terdapat hubungan yang kuatantara aktivitas fisik dengan indeks massa tubuh (IMT) pada remaja usia 16-18 tahun di SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar. Kata kunci : Aktivitas Fisik, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT)

Abstract

ABSTRACTAgility is a form of exercise with fast movement and changing direction and agile. Seeing the many agility exercisestargeting the coordination of muscle nerves, reaction speed, balance, muscle strength alone but did not increaseflexibility significantly. This study aims to determine the comparison of agility ladder exercise lateral run method withcircuit training in terms of increased agility.The research design with experimental Pre-Test and Post- Test TwoGroup Design, sample of 18 people divided into 2 groups with simple random sampling. The sample of this researchis futsal team player Griya Tansa Trisna Dalung. Group 1 was given Agility Ladder Exercise Lateral Run method andgroup 2 was given Circuit Training, research for 5 weeks with dose of exercise 3 times in one week. Illinois Agility runtest used before and after training to measure agility. Normality test using Saphiro Wilk, homogeneity using Levene'stest and hypothesis testing using Independent T-test. The data mean group 1 and group 2 were normal and homogeneousdistributed with mean increase in group 1 was 2.89 and group 2 was 4.47. Difference between group 1 andgroup 2 was obtained p = 0,000 (p <0,05) meaning statistically significant difference.This research concludes circuittraining exercises more effective are used to improve agility on the team's futsal player Griya Tansa Trisna Dalung.Keywords: agility, agility ladder exercise, lateral run method, circuit training

Abstract

Daily activities that involve excessive work of the upper extremity can cause problems to the lateral humeral epycondylus known as tennis elbow. The purpose of this research was to compare the combination of mill’s manipulation and ultrasound with combination of transverse friction and ultrasound to reduce pain in tennis elbow type II. This research used an experimental research with Pre and Post Test Two Group Design. Samples were divided into two treatment groups, which are mill’s manipulation and ultrasound group that consists of 10 samples and transverse friction and ultrasound group that consists of 10 samples. The measured data is VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) before and after the intervention. The result of this research is, Group 1 occurring on average decrease with p=0.000 (p>0.05), while on Group 2 occurring on average decrease with p=0.000 (p>0.05), once compared Group 1 and Group 2 p=0.697 (p>0.05), meaning that there was no significant difference in the decrease in VAS score between the two groups. From this research it can be concluded that the combination of mill’s manipulation and ultrasound showed no significant result as combination of transverse friction and ultrasound to reduce pain in tennis elbow type II.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor resiko dari penyakit kardiovaskular dan yang paling sering diderita oleh lansia. Penatalaksanaan hipertensi dapat dilakukan melalui terapi nonfarmakologi. Senam lansia adalah salah satu bentuk terapi non farmakologi dengan cara latihan fisik yang dapat dilakukan oleh para lansia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam lansia terhadap tekanan darah lansia dengan hipertensi. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental dengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling dan didapatkan sampel lansia berjumlah 26 orang yang terpilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di halaman puskesmas Dawan 1 yang berlangsung selama 5 minggu. Hasil uji analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji non parametrik dengan wilcoxon test. Didpatkan hasil bahwa senam lansia berpengaruh terhadap penurunan tekanan darah lansia dengan hipertensi (p<0,05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini bahwa senam lansia dapat menurunkan tekanan darah lansia dengan hipertensi yang signifikan. Hal ini disebabkan karena gerakan dalam senam lansia menghasilkan kontraksi otot skeletal yang menyebabkan respon mekanik dan kimiawi. Kata Kunci : Lansia, Senam Lansia, Hipertensi

Abstract

ABSTRACTIncrease motor development can be done by providing a stimulus. Good stimulus will stimulate children's development in various aspects. With the aim to know the difference between origami and coloring in improving fine motor development of children. Draft Pre and Post Test Two Group Design. Sampling using simple random sampling. These samples included 32 people and data collection is done with Fine Motor Skills Tests. The results showed an increase fine motor development in group 1 amounted to 70.31±3.754 and in group 2 an increase of 71.44±5.046. Independent Sample test showed no significant difference between group 1 and 2 p = 0.894 (p> 0.05). It was concluded that the origami and coloring equally well to improving fine motor development of children. Keywords : Fine motor, origami, coloring.

Abstract

This research aimed to identifi addition intervention in Mc. Kenzie exercise, short wave diathermi, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and massage reduce back pain in low back pain problem . Method : This research is using pre test and post test control group design. Patients were randomised into two groups : the Control Group (CG) that use SWD, TENS, and massage is 10 patients. The Experimental Group (EG) that SWD, TENS, massage and Mc.Kenzie exercise is 10 patients too. Result : The result of CG test which using compare means with paired sample t-test, p<0,05 (p=0,000) that mean the intervention in CG is having significant to reduce pain. In the result of EG test which using compare means with paired sample t-test, p<0,05 (p=0,000) that mean the intervention in EG is having significant to reduce pain. The result test researcher using compare mean test with Independent sample t-test, p<0,05 (p=0,003), that means there are significant different between EG result and CG result. In one tail hypothesis got result p<0,05, so it shows that intervention in EG more effective significantly than CG in to reduce low back pain . Conclusion : Addition intervention in Mc. Kenzie exercise, short wave diathermi, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and massage reduce back pain in low back pain problem.
