Abstract

One of the most important parts of the textbook is the exercises, as their quality is reflected in the quality of the textbook. This study aims to describe the forms of exercises for the subject of writing skill in the book Al-‘Arabiyah Baina Yadaik for the third book, volume one, and to describe the suitability of these exercises for the basis of thinking skills. This study follows the descriptive approach with a qualitative approach. As a result, the exercises for the subject of writing skill in the Al-‘Arabiyah Baina Yadaik for the third book, the first volume contained five types; (1) writing the topic with a title, (2) writing dramatization in the form of the text, (3) writing the story, (4) writing the summary, (5) writing the part, and that the exercises in it did not include the three thinking skills, as it revolved between re-reading and then writing the summary. The conclusion of the study is that the exercises in the Al-‘Arabiyah Baina Yadaik for the third book, the first volume and for the subject of writing skill, did not have many form. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui makna simbol dalam agama Sikh di Indonesia, khususnya di Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan, Banten. Pentingnya kajian ini dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa Aqidah dan Filsafat Islam, Fakultas Ushuluddin, UIN dalam rangka tersedianya data dan informasi terhadap segenap umat beragama yang dipeluk oleh sedikit masyarakat Indonesia, seperti agama Sikh. Aspek-aspek yang dilihat antara lain adalah, bentuk Rumah Ibadah agam Sikh yang jika kita lihat sekilas menyerupai masjid dalam agama Islam, selain itu budaya seperti memakai Turban, merawat Jenggot dan Rambut, memakai pakaian yang sopan dan sebagainya, ini semua hampir kurang lebih sama dengan agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan menggunakan pendekatan Antropologi, untuk melihat aspek kehidupan beragama, dan perilaku beragama pada agama Sikh. Kehadiran penganut agama Sikh ke Indonesia berasal dari Amritsar, Punjab, India, (sekarang masuk wilayah Pakistan) masuk melewati Aceh, Sumatera Utara dan Jakarta. Keberadaan pemeluk agama Sikh di Jabodetabek sampai saat ini masih subaltern. Secara teologis pemeluk agama Sikh percaya terhadap monoteisme yang disebut Waheguru dan pendirinya Guru Nanank (1469–1539). Kitab sucinya Guru Granth Sahib. Kuil Sikh disebut Gurdwara atau “gerbang menuju Guru”.

Abstract

Poetry is the singing of birds, and the homeland is the nest of those birds. Accordingly, we find that there is a mutual link between poetry and the homeland. In order to show the originality and creativity of one of the founders of poetry who loves the homeland, the aim of this research study is to highlight and review some of the values in Saudi poetry. In addition, the study attempts, through critical analysis, to show the status of poetry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a rapidly growing Arab country that supports contemporary poets and literary giants, in addition to literature, learning, and culture. One of these prominent poets is Khaled Al-Faisal, who devoted his life to the development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the production of many styles of contemporary Saudi poetry. It is known that philosophers may express their attachment and belonging through a small part of the larger homeland, and thus they express their love and loyalty to it. On the one hand, the researcher seeks to highlight the poet's experience and show his love for his great homeland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the influential poem bearing the title "Umm Al-Gura" by the poet Khalid Al-Faisal. On the other hand, the researcher makes an effort to evaluate and analyze the poet's talent for using poetic images and symbols in his poetry with reference to this poem. The study begins with a brief introduction to poetry, its magnificence, and its importance. It then moves to a brief review of Saudi literature and provides an overview and a quick look at the importance and status of the holy city, Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The researcher moves on to the main subject of the study, which is represented in analyzing and exploring the rest of the poem "Umm Al-Gura" by the Saudi poet Khalid Al-Faisal. The study uses a critical analytical approach with a focus on the homeland as the main emphasis of the study, which ends with a brief conclusion. اَلشَّعْر هُوَ غِنَاءُ اَلْعَصَافِيرِ، وَالْوَطَنُ هُوَ عُشُّ تِلْكَ اَلْعَصَافِيرِ، بِنَاءٌ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، نَجِدُ هُنَاكَ عَلَاقَةُ اِرْتِبَاطٍ مُتَبَادَلَةٍ بَيْنَ اَلشِّعْرِ وَالْوَطَنِ. مِنْ أَجْلِ إِظْهَارِ أَصَالَةِ وَإِبْدَاعِ أَحَدِ مُؤَسِّسِي اَلشَّعْرِ اَلَّذِي يَهْوَى اَلْوَطَنُ، جَاءَ هَدَفُ هَذِهِ اَلدِّرَاسَةِ اَلْبَحْثِيَّةِ إِلَى اِسْتِكْمَالِ إِبْرَازٍ وَاسْتِعْرَاضٍ جُزْئِيَّةٍ مِنْ اَلْقِيَمِ فِي اَلشِّعْرِ اَلسُّعُودِيِّ. بِالْإِضَافَةِ إِلَى ذَلِكَ، فَالدِّرَاسَةُ تُحَاوِلُ مِنْ خِلَالِ اَلتَّحْلِيلِ اَلنَّاقِدِ إِظْهَارَ مَكَانَةِ اَلشِّعْرِ فِي اَلْمَمْلَكَةِ اَلْعَرَبِيَّةِ اَلسُّعُودِيَّةِ، كَدَوْلَةٍ عَرَبِيَّةٍ سَرِيعَةٍ اَلنُّمُوِّ، تَدْعَمَ اَلشُّعَرَاءَ اَلْمُعَاصِرِينَ وَعَمَالِقَةَ اَلْأَدَبِ، بِالْإِضَافَةِ إِلَى اَلْأَدَبِ وَالتَّعَلُّمِ وَالثَّقَافَةِ. أَحَدُ هَؤُلَاءِ اَلشُّعَرَاءِ اَلْبَارِزِينَ هُوَ خَالِدْ اَلْفَيْصَلْ اَلَّذِي كَرَّسَ حَيَاتَهُ لِتَطْوِيرِ اَلْمَمْلَكَةِ اَلْعَرَبِيَّةِ اَلسُّعُودِيَّةِ، وَإِنْتَاجَ أَنْمَاطٍ عَدِيدَةٍ مِنْ اَلشِّعْرِ اَلسُّعُودِيِّ اَلْمُعَاصِرِ. وَمِنْ اَلْمَعْرُوفِ أَنَّ اَلْفَلَاسِفَةَ قَدْ يُعَبِّرُونَ عَنْ اِرْتِبَاطِهِمْ وَانْتِمَائِهِمْ مِنْ خِلَالِ جُزْءٍ صَغِيرٍ مِنْ اَلْوَطَنِ اَلْأَكْبَرِ وَهُمْ بِذَلِكَ يُعَبِّرُونَ عَنْ حُبِّهِمْ وَوَلَائِهِمْ لَهُ. مِنْ جَانِبٍ، يَسْعَى اَلْبَاحِثُ إِلَى إِبْرَازِ خِبْرَةِ اَلشَّاعِرِ وَإِظْهَارِ حُبِّهِ لِوَطَنِهِ اَلْكَبِيرِ، اَلْمَمْلَكَةُ اَلْعَرَبِيَّةُ اَلسُّعُودِيَّةُ، مِنْ خِلَالِ اَلْقَصِيدَةِ اَلْمُؤَثِّرَةِ اَلَّتِي تَحْمِلُ عُنْوَانًا وَطَنِيًّا هُوَ "أُمُّ اَلْقُرَى" لِلشَّاعِرِ خَالِدْ اَلْفَيْصَلْ. وَمِنْ جَانِبٍ آخَرَ، يَبْذُلَ اَلْبَاحِثُ جُهْدًا فِي تَقْيِيمِ وَتَحْلِيلِ مَوْهِبَةِ اَلشَّاعِرِ فِي اِسْتِخْدَامِ اَلصُّوَرِ وَالرُّمُوزِ اَلشِّعْرِيَّةِ فِي شِعْرِهِ، مُسْتَشْهِدًا بِهَذِهِ اَلْقَصِيدَةِ. تَبْدَأَ اَلدِّرَاسَةُ بِمُقَدِّمَةٍ مُوجَزَةٍ عَنْ اَلشِّعْرِ وَرَوْعَتِهِ وَأَهَمِّيَّتِهِ، ثُمَّ تَنْتَقِلُ إِلَى اِسْتِعْرَاضٍ مُوجَزٍ عَنْ الِأَدَب اَلسُّعُودِيِّ، ثُمَّ تَقْدِيمِ لَمْحَةِ وَنَظْرَةِ سَرِيعَةٍ عَلَى أَهَمِّيَّةِ وَمَكَانَةِ اَلْمَدِينَةِ اَلْمُقَدَّسَةِ، مَكَّة اَلْمُكَرَّمَةِ. يَنْتَقِلَ اَلْبَاحِثُ إِلَى اَلْمَوْضُوعِ اَلرَّئِيسِيِّ لِلدِّرَاسَةِ وَالْمُتَمَثِّلِ فِي تَحْلِيلِ وَسَبْرِ غَوْرِ بَقِيَّةِ قَصِيدَةِ "أُمِّ اَلْقُرَى" لِلشَّاعِرِ اَلسُّعُودِيِّ خَالِدْ اَلْفَيْصَلْ. تُسْتَخْدَم اَلدِّرَاسَةُ نَهْجًا تَحْلِيلِيًّا نَقْدِيًّا مَعَ اَلتَّرْكِيزِ عَلَى مَوْضُوعِ اَلْوَطَنِ كَمِحْوَرِ اَلدِّرَاسَةِ اَلرَّئِيسِيِّ، وَاَلَّتِي تَنْتَهِي بِخَاتِمَةٍ مُوجَزَةٍ.

Abstract

Qat has been known by the people of Africa and South Arabia for centuries. In Yemen, qat is often referred to as ‘the plant from heaven'. The tradition of chewing qat, known as takhzeen al-qat, creates positive social interactions among Yemeni people. Currently, the cultural value of takhzeen has shifted from positive to negative. The consumption of qat has changed from being a form of entertainment to a harmful social custom. This study examines the changes in the value of the takhzeen al-qat tradition in Yemen. The theories applied in this study are the theory of cultural change theory and the humanitarian crisis. The qualitative study method is used along with data collection techniques through literature reviews. This study concludes that qat came from Ethiopia around the 13th century AD, popularized by the Sufis in Yemen. At the beginning of its appearance, takhzeen qat was considered positively by the Yemeni people. When the Yemen crisis hit, takhzeen qat turned into a social custom. The negative impact of takhzeen qat during the crisis is enhancing malnutrition cases and qat addiction. Changes in the value of takhzeen qat changed due to the impetus of the humanitarian crisis that occurred in Yemen. Abstract

Abstrak: This paper focuses on the development of Arabic poetry from the Jahiliyah period (using makeshift media) and the Contemporary period (using Twitter media) for poetry, as well as the ideas and thoughts of Arabic writers in the poem. Through a historical-diachronic study of the medium of Arabic poetry during the Jahiliyah and Contemporary periods, it can be concluded that the culture and tradition of poetry have differences. If during the Jahiliyah period poetry was produced using makeshift media, such as date palm fronds, animal bones, and palm leaves, then in the contemporary era poetry is immortalized through Twitter media. Poetry on Twitter (cyberliterature) is a unique phenomenon that seems to take over the position of printing media. The tradition of poetry became the most popular and popular social practice among literati, social, political, religious and cultural phenomena were raised through poetry. Many contemporary writers share their thoughts and poems on Twitter, however, this study features at least four contemporary figures who participated in Twitter: Najm Al-Husainy, 'Issa Jarȃba, Dalal al-Barudi, and Sa'ud Al-Sanusy. Although poets do not always produce their poems on Twitter, through this activity literati can interact with poetry connoisseurs from various societies in the world.

Abstract

The bibliometric analysis will be used to examine the landscape of prior research relevant to Grammatical Arabic in Arabic from 1981 to 2023. Data were extracted from a Scopus database comprising 111 publications and improved. According to bibliometric analysis, 2022 is the year with the most article published, with 8 articles. With 35 citations, the citation trend for Grammatical Arabic in Arabic happened in 2005. With 10 publications and 5 collaboration linkages with other nations, the State of Israel became a country that published articles linked to Grammatical Arabic in Arabic. Eight of the 51 journals that publish research on this topic have been published in Q1 journals. The focus of research related to Grammatical Arabic in Arabic 1) Arabic language; 2) Natural Language Processing Systems 3) Sibawayhi.

Abstract

تتضمن الأمثال حكماً بليغة مرتبطة بأساليب البلاغة التي أصبحت لها مكانة مرتفعة في إبداع النّصوص الرّوائيّة. يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة الأمثال الواردة في كتاب "مأساة الحبّ" لإبراز دقّة ألفاظه وجزالة تراكيبه وروانق دلالاته وبدائع معانيه لأنّ بلاغة الأمثال أسلوب يتّضح من خلاله الحقائق الصّحيحة الّتي تطابق مواطن الكتاب لمقتضى الحال إذ أصبحت الأمثال مادّةً لنسج هذا الكتاب بالتّعبير المميّز والتّواصل الّلغويّ القيّم لزيادة التّوضيح والتّقرير والتّحقيق الّتي أظهرتها عملية الأمثال في إثراء النّصّ الّلاحق وإنتاجه الجديد. يتجلّى هذا البحث بأنّ الأمثال تمنح هذا الكتاب كلامًا بليغًا فيه محاسن الأساليب البلاغيّة إذ تلمح في أسلوب النّصوص الرّوائيّة بتوضيح الدّلالات وتوسيع السّبك وحسن التّراكيب وسلاسة التّرتيب وفصاحة الألفاظ الّتي تلائم مواطنها السّردية. وينتج هذا البحث أنّ بلاغة الأمثال اكتسبت هذا الكتاب حسن الانسجام، وجمال النّسج وتنسيق العبارات ودقّة التّصوير وتنميق النّصّ ذي القيم البلاغيّة وقوّة التّأثير كما يوصي المؤلّفين بتدقيق معرفة استعمال الأمثال والباحثين بميل دراساتهم إلى المجالات الّلغوية الأخرى في الكتب الرّوائيّة المؤلّفة.      الكلمات المفتاحيّة: البلاغة؛ الأمثال؛ الدّلالة؛ الّلغة؛ النّصّ. ABSTRACT The proverbs involve eloquent aphorisms linked linguistically with rhetorical styles in an exalted status while creating fictional texts. This article aims to study the mentioned proverbs in the book titled ‘Ma’asatul-hubb’ in order to discover an accuracy in its eloquent words, a profusion in its symmetrical structures, a glamour in its coordinated conceptions and an unique in its semantic textures. The study signifies that the proverbial eloquence is a linguistic style that exposes essential denotations of proverbs which are compatible with their textual spots in the book. The proverbs have rhetorical peculiarities being among the components of forming the book, an agent of expressional perception, a medium of standard linguistic connectivity for clarifying, affirming and accomplishing the fictional text. The study discovered that the proverbs confer upon the book eloquent speeches, linguistic proportions, stylish expressions, magnificent connotations and exceptional significances. The study concluded that the incorporated proverbs in this book display the qualities of rhetorical styles that insinuate the unique textual composition in elucidating its systemization and words which proverbial eloquence enriches the book appropriately with qualitative euphuisms, adequate symphonies, coordinated phrases, accurate formations, perfected euphemisms, harmonious compositions, artistic influences and standard rhetorical texts.
