The study aims to determine the determinants of successful treatment among new TB patients in Brebes Regency. Method: The study design used was cross-sectional with the subject of new drug-sensitive TB patients in SITB from January 2020 to June 2022. A sample of 565 respondents was taken by simple random sampling. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with chi-square and Fisher's tests as well as multivariably using logistic regression test. Results: Among 565 new TB patients included in this study, 65,1% had successful TB treatment outcomes. In multivariable logistic regression analysis, the categorical variable of pulmonary TB patients (AdjOR: 0,27; 95% CI: 0,08-0,85; p=0,03), ratio of doctors (Q2) (AdjOR: 0,39; 95% CI: 1,18-0,87; p=0,02), microscopic test status at diagnosis (AdjOR: 2,09; 95% CI: 1,08-4,06; p=0,28 ), duration of treatment Q1 (AdjOR: 9,40; 95% CI: 4,27-20,69; p<0,001), Q2 (AdjOR: 0,08; 95% CI: 0,01-0,43; p<0,001), Q3 (AdjOR: 0,05; 95% CI: 0,01-0,30; p<0,001), and negative smear microscopic test results at month 2 after initiation of treatment (AdjOR: 9,80; 95% CI: 2,10-45,57; p<0,001) has a significant relationship to the successful TB treatment. Conclusion: Category of pulmonary TB, ratio of doctors 4,4-8,8 per 100,000 population, microscopy test status at diagnosis, length of treatment less than 7 months 11 days-12 months, and negative smear microscopic test results at the end of the 2nd month after the start treatment were determinants of successful treatment among new TB patients in Brebes Regency.

The method can be used by providing training through health education and simulations. Methods: Study using a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group. Samples were taken using a purposive technique totalling 72 people divided into control and intervention groups with equal numbers. The intervention is given with educational details for 30 minutes and a 60-minute simulation. The instruments consisted of a self-reported questionnaire and practice assessment sheets. Analysis of intragroup and intergroup differences using the Paired T-test and Independent T-test. Results: The mean increase in basic life support knowledge and skills in the intervention group was more significant than in the control group (42.8>1.4 and (74.7>-1.5). The intragroup test results in the control group showed knowledge (p0.381) and ability (p0.353). In contrast, the intervention group showed knowledge (p0.002) and ability to perform CPR (p<0.001), comparison of knowledge and ability to perform CPR between the control and intervention groups p<0.001 and p<0.001. Conclusions: Health education and simulation effectively increase the knowledge and ability to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation pada bystander.

Content validity analysis uses Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Content Validity Index (CVI) while media validity and media objectives are based on the results of value conversion. Media trials were conducted with a knowledge pretest and post-test using a questionnaire. Analysis of the effect of media usage using the Wilcoxon test. Results: The media content validity test obtained a mean CVR value of 11.99 and CVI 0.85. Media expert validity obtained a mean value of 4.29 and media target validity obtained a mean value of 4.50. The small-scale media trial obtained an increase in knowledge of 29.64%, while the large-scale media application was 19.98%. Pretest and post-test analysis showed p=0.000. Conclusions: E-booklet media is very suitable as an educational medium to prevent adult obesity. Abstract

Introduction: The percentage of adolescents in Indonesia was 8.8%. Adolescents aged 15 – 20 years were the second highest (79.2%) injured due to road traffic accidents (RTA) with riding motorcycle. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between several variables that were predicted to be the cause of RTA of adolescents aged 15 – 20 years in Indonesia. Methods: This study used a cross sectional design using data obtained from the 2018 Basic Health Research (Riskesdas). The research sample was individuals aged 15-20 years who had experienced an injury. A total of 2,042 people were selected based on injuries due to traffic accidents and not from traffic accidents itself. Variables of gender, rural or urban areas, helmet use habits, suitability of using helmets, smoking status, history of consuming minimal alcohol, emotional mental disorder issues and obesity issues. Bivariate analysis used the chi-square test with a significance level of P-value <0.05 and 95% confidence interval (CI), and multivariate analysis used the Binary Regression Logistic test. Results: The variables of gender, helmet use habit, smoking habit, and obesity issues had a significant relationship with P-value < 0.005 with the incidence of traffic accidents in adolescents in Indonesia. After controlling of other variables, the direction of the positive relationship was shown in the variables of gender and obesity status with PR (95%CI) is 1.394 (1.139-1.706) and 1.551 (1.232-1.952). Conclusion: Road Safety Education for adolescents aged 15-20 years, especially adolescents with obesity needs to be structured and implemented according to the needs of adolescents.
