Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is influence or not intellectual capital on the financial performance of sharia companies JII Indonesia and BMHSI Malaysia. The research samples is 28 JII companies and 6 BMHSI companies in 2012-2016. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the VACA variable regression coefficient was 12,232 with a sig value of 0,000 on JII and 2,112 with a sig value of 0,045 on BMHSI; VAHU variable regression coefficient of 2.841 with a sig value of 0.005 on JII and 5.591 with a sig value of 0.000 on BMHSI; and STVA variable regression coefficient of 1.874 with a sig value of 0.063 on JII and -0.505 with a sig value of 0.618 on BMHSI. The conclusion of this study is that VACA and VAHU have a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of sharia JII companies as well as BMHSI and STVA which have a negative and not significant effect on the financial performance of sharia companies JII and BMHSI.

Abstract

Consumens concern for environmental sustainability raises consumption behavior for environmentally friendly products and encourages companies to implement green marketing strategies. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of green perceived value and green perceived risk toward green purchase intention via green trust as mediator variable (intervening). The population of this research is all consumers of UKM products in the city of Semarang. The sampel is 100 respondents used convenience sampling technique. The data collecting method used questionnaire. The data analysis used Path Analysis with SPSS v21.T he results showed that green perceived value and green perceived quality had a significant positive effect on green purchase intention while green perceived quality had a significant negative effect on the green purchase intention. Green trust has a role as an intervening variable between the variables green perceived value, green perceived risk and green perceived quality towards the green purchase intention. The conclusions of this research are there is an effect of green perceived value and green perceived risk toward green purchase intention via green trust.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial and nonfinancial factors affecting the firm performance with capital structure as intervening in manufaturing companies that are listed on the Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. The sample used in this study is manufacturing companies that consist in Indonesian Stock Exchange through 2013-2017.. The method of data collection uses the documentation method from secondary data in the form of annual reports that have been published on the IDX. The data analysis method used is using multiple regression method and sobel test. Financial and non financial factors like sales growth, firm size, board gender diversity, and capital structure influencing firm performance are 92%. This research found that sales growth gives positif effect on firm performance. While, firm size and board of gender diversity have negative effect on firm performance.

Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine the effect of product quality and brand image on purchasing decisions throught brand trust. The population in this study is the consumers of Sambal Terasi Siap Pakai (Ready to use shrimp paste sauce) product from ABC brand in Semarang and applying incindental sampling. Questionaire used instrument test, descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, partial test and path analysis. The data was analysed by SPSS 21 software for Windows. This study found that product quality has a positive effect on brand trust, brand image has a positive effect on brand trust, brand image has a positive effect on brand trust, product quality has positive effect on purchasing decision, brand trust has a positive effect on purchasing decision, product quality has a positive positife effectbon purchasing decision throught brand trust, brand image has a positive effect on purchasing decision throught brand trust.

Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence of the relationship of co-integration and contagion effect on the stock market in the People's Republic of Tiongkok and ASEAN during economic slowdown in the People's Republic of Tiongkok in 2015-2017. The samples in this study were the stock market of the People's Republic of Tiongkok, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. The data used in the study are secondary data from the Composite Stock Price Index obtained from www.bloomberg.com. The research method used in this study is Vector Autoregression (VAR). The test results show that economic slowdown in the People's Republic of Tiongkok has no effect on the average JCI of the People's Republic of Tiongkok and ASEAN. There is co-integration in the average JCI of the People's Republic of Tiongkok and ASEAN. The average Indonesian JCI is not affected by the JCI average of the People's Republic of Tiongkok and ASEAN. There is contagion effect on the average JCI of the People's Republic of Tiongkok and ASEAN. Based on the results of the study it were concluded that co-integration and contagion effects occurs on the average JCI in the People's Republic of Tiongkok and ASEAN when economic slowdown occurs.
