Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penugasan riset mini dengan strategi metakognitif terhadap kemampuan metakognitif siswa. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti berusaha menggabungkan strategi yang mampu mencakup kognisi dan metakognisi dalam upaya melatih pembelajaran mandiri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-experimental design dengan rancangan posttest-only design. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2014/2015 di SMA 1 Gombong pada kelas XI dengan materi sistem peredaran darah. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik acak dan diperoleh tiga kelas, dua kelas eksperimen dan satu  kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian meliputi tingkat keterlaksanaan penugasan riset mini dengan strategi metakognitif, hasil belajar siswa, skor kemampuan metakognitif siswa, dan hubungan antara hasil belajar dan kemampuan metakognitif. Hasil uji t test posttest diperoleh thitung (4,442) > ttabel (1,985) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penugasan riset mini dengan strategi metakognitif berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Di sisi lain, korelasi antara hasil belajar dan kemampuan metakognitif belum menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan.    This research aimed to determine the effect of mini research assignment with metacognitive strategies upon students metacognitive skills. During the study, a strategy for improving both cognition and metacognition was used to support student self-regulated learning. Quasi-experimental design with posttest-only design was implemented,  in the first semester of academic year 2014/2015 at Senior High School 1 Gombong, in which class XI students were studying circulatory system. Random  sampling techniques were implemented to  indentify  three classes, two experimental classes and one control class. Findings included level scores of mini research assignment with metacognitive strategies, of student learning outcomes, of student metacognitive skills, and the relationship between learning outcomes and metacognitive skills. t-test posttest indicated that  tcount (4.442) > ttable (1.985) and it was concluded that mini research assignment with metacognitive strategies could influence on learning outcomes. On the other hand, the correlation between learning outcomes and metacognitive skills was not positively strong.

Abstract

Penelitian  bertujuan mendiskripsikan efektivitas model pembelajaran CIRC dengan mind mapping pada materi Invertebrata terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X IPA 1 dan X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 menggunakan metode Quasi experimental design dengan desain Nonequivalent control group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA (1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5). Sampel penelitian ini ditentukan secara Purposive sampling, yaitu siswa kelas X IPA 1 dan X IPA 2. Data hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan normalitas gain, sedangkan data aktivitas dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan deskriptif persentase. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran nilai hasil belajar dan aktivitas kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar dengan t hitung 6,65 > t tabel 1,66, juga terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada aktivitas siswa dengan t hitung 6,65 > t tabel 3,07. Purpose of this research to describe the effectiveness of the learning model CIRC with mind mapping on Invertebrates material on the activities and results of class X student of SMAN 1 Wirosari. This study was carried out in class X  IPA 1 and X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Wirosari 2014/2015 school year using Quasi experimental design with Nonequivalent control group Design. The reasearch population was all students of class X IPA (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). The research sample was determined by purposive sampling, namely class X IPA 1 and 2. Learning outcome data were analyzed using the t test and normality gain, while activity data were analyzed using the t test and descriptive percentages. Based on the analysis of the data found that after participating in the learning values ​​learning outcomes and activities of the experimental class is larger than the control class. There are significant differences in learning outcomes by t count of 6.65 > 1.66 t table, there are also significant differences in the activity of students with t count 6.65 > 3.07 t table.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Experimental Design, dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Garung sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A (kelas eksperimen) menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media audiovisual dan kelas VIII B (kelas kontrol) menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif. Data motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket. Data hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan siswa diambil dari tes tertulis materi sistem ekskresi, kompetensi keterampilan diambil dari pengamatan, dan kompetensi sikap dari angket penilaian diri, antar teman, dan pengamatan. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan deskriptif persentase dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar. Dilihat dari persentase siswa termotivasi sebesar 100%, siswa tuntas kompetensi sikap sebesar 100%, kompetensi keterampilan 91%, kompetensi pengetahuan 79%, dan hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dari nilai thitung= 4,56 > ttabel = 2,04. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.  The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of PBL model assisted audio-visual media toward students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research used Experimental Design and used two classes as experiment and control class. The population on this research was the students of class VIII of SMP 1 Garung while the sample is class VIII A (experiment class) used PBL model assisted audio-visual media and class VIII B (control class) used cooperative learning. The motivation data of student’s learning achieved is by questionnaire. Data of student’s knowledge competence learning result taken from written test of materials excretion system, competence skill is taken from the observation, attitudes, and competencies of self-assessment questionnaire, among friends, and observations. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage and t-test. The result of this research showed that the PBL model assisted audio-visual media was effective for students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Judging from the percentage of students motivated by 100%, students completed the competence of the attitude of 100%, 91% competency skills, 79% knowledge competencies, and the result of t-test showed that the results of experimental class knowledge learning competence better than control class from score t = 4,56> ttable = 2,04. The conclusion from this research is the PBL model assisted audio-visual media effectively to students’motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan penerapan Guided Inquiry disertai Flow Card pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia di SMP Negeri 38 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimentaldengan pola one shot case study. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 38 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa aktivitas siswa, hasil belajar siswa, tanggapan siswa dan tanggapan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan siswa termasuk kategori aktif yaitu sebesar 82,3%. Secara klasikal ketuntasan belajar siswa termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik yakni sebesar 91,9 % serta tanggapan siswa dan guru selama proses pembelajaran termasuk kriteria sangat baik. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Guided Inquiry disertai Flow Cardpada materi sistem pernapasan manusia di SMP N 38 Semarang dapat diterapkan karena terbukti efektif. This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the application of the Guided Inquiry with Flow Card in the human respiratory system materials in SMP N 38 Semarang. This research was pre-eksperimental design that uses one shot case study. The population was all students of class VIII of SMP N 38 Semarang school year 2014/2015. The sample is students of class VIII A and VIII B. The sampling technique by Purposive. The data of research were student activity, students learning outcomes, student and teacher responses. The results showed the student activities included in active criteria that are 82,3%. Students classical completeness included in very good criteria that are 91,9 % and Students and teacher responses during the learning process were excellent. Conclusion of the study that learning by using the Guided Inquiry with Flow Card model of learning material in the human respiratory system SMP N 38 Semarang can be applied because it proved effective

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran biologi dengan inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok sistem indera manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan pola  Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Karangdowo, Klaten, dengan sampel peserta didik kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, yang didasarkan atas beberapa pertimbangan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar pada ranah pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen 72,94 (pengetahuan), 2,68 (sikap), 2,80 (keterampilan) sedangkan kelas kontrol 60,31 (pengetahuan), 2,25 (sikap), 2,53 (keterampilan). Hasil ini sudah mencapai target dari penelitian, berdasarkan uji hipotesis terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, dengan nilai p value < α = 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan penggunaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran biologi dengan inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.    This research aims to determine the effect of the use of authentic assessment in biology with guided inquiry learning on learning achievement of students in the subject matter of human sensory system. This research is a Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent pattern control group design. The population in this research were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Karangdowo, Klaten, with a sample of students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 3 as the control group. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, which is based on several considerations. The results showed that the learning achievement in the realm of knowledge, attitudes, and skills experimental class is higher than the control class. An average of  experimental class learning achievement 72.94 (knowledge), 2.68 (attitude), 2.80 (skills) while the control class 60.31 (knowledge), 2.25 (attitude), 2.53 (skills). This result has already reached the target of research, based on hypothesis testing the effect, there are significant differences, with p value <α = 0.05. This shows that the use of authentic assessment in biology with guided inquiry learning positif effect on the learning achievement of students.

Abstract

Materi sistem reproduksi manusia memiliki karakteristik dengan banyaknya proses yang panjang. Observasi dan wawancara yang dilakukan di SMA N 1 Kendal, SMA N 2 Kendal dan SMA Pondok Modern Selamat menunjukkan bahwa buku yang menjadi sumber belajar belum dapat menjelaskan proses panjang tersebut. Pembelajaran web-browsing yang dilakukan guru beresiko terhadap penyalahgunaan akses yang mengarah pada pornografi. Sekolah memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang memadai tapi belum termanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan multimedia yang layak dan efektif pada materi sistem reproduksi. Multimedia yang dikembangkan adalah Science Multimedia Inquiry and Game (SMEDIG). Multimedia SMEDIG mengadaptasi sintaks pembelajaran guided inquiry dan dikombinasikan dengan education game. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development). Uji coba produk dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Kendal. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk multimedia SMEDIG yang layak dan efektif untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan oleh tercapainya indikator kelayakan dan keefektifan multimedia SMEDIG. Persentase aktivitas klasikal peserta didik mencapai 83,75% dengan kriteria sangat aktif dan rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai 95,6%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia SMEDIG yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Human reproductive system has many characteristics with length process. Observations and interviews at SMA N 1 Kendal, SMAN 2 Kendal and SMA Pondok Modern Selamat showed  that books became learning sources have not been able to illustrate such a long process. Web-browsing learning system was risky of unauthorized access that lead to pornography. The school has adequate facilities and infrastructure but has not been utilized optimally. This study aimed to develop a feasible and effective multimedia of human reproduktive systems. Multimedia that is developed is a multimedia was Science Multimedia Inquiry and Game (SMEDIG).  SMEDIG adapts the syntax of guided inquiry learning and combined with education games. The product was tested at SMAN 2 Kendal. This research used Research and Development method. This study provides a product of learning media in the form of multimedia SMEDIG which is feasible and effective to be applied in learning process. This was proven by the achievement indicators of the feasibility and the effectiveness of multimedia SMEDIG. The percentage of learners’ classical activity reached 83.75% with criteria very active and the average of classical completeness learning outcomes of students reached 95.6%, it be concluded that multimedia SMEDIG which develop feasible and effective to be applied in learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan  pendekatan saintifik berbantuan biotrivial pursuit game berbasis Bioedutainment materi sistem organisasi kehidupan pada siswa kelas VII SMP.Penelitian ini Pre Eksperimental Design dengan one-shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP N 1 Ungaran dengan sampel kelas VII A dan VII B yang dipilih dengan metode Convenience Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran Biotrivial Pursuit berbasis bioedutainment pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan mampu mengkatifkan siswa sebesar 99% dan 98,6% siswa mendapatkan nilai lebih dari 80 serta tanggapan positif siswa sebesar 97,5% kemudian untuk tanggapan guru dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif mendapatkan tanggapan positif atau baik.Dari hasil dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Biotrivial Pursuit Game berbasis bioedutainment efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi sistem organisasi kehidupan This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the scientific approach with Biotrivial pursuit game Bioedutainment-based, the topic is system organization of life in Junior High school grade class VII. This study is a Pre Experimental Design with a one-shot case study. The population in this study was all students of class VII in SMP N 1 Ungaran with samples of class VII A and VII B using Convenience sampling method.  This Research  shows that learning media Biotrivial Pursuit bioedutainment based on the material system is able to activate the organization of student life at 99% and 98.6% of students get more value from 80 and student positive responses at 97.5% and then to the teachers response to the descriptive qualitative method to get a positive response or Good. From the results and discussion concluded that media-based learning Biotrivial Pursuit Games bioedutainment effectively applied to the learning material life organization system

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode role playing berbantuan medispro dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Batang pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalentcontrol group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA yang berjumlah 160 siswa dan terbagi dalam 5 kelas, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 3 dan XI MIPA 5 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 88% siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai nilai ≥78 dan 100% siswa mencapai gain ≥ 0,3 dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,65. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya 69% yang mencapai nilai ≥78 dan 94% siswa mencapai gain ≥ 0,3 dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,52. Serta terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai akhir kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu masing-masing 83,94 dan 78,75. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung 3,212 > ttabel 1,998, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode role playing berbantuan medispro efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia.  This study aims to find out the effectiveness of role playing method with medispro to improve students’ learning achievement on the material of human reproduction system. This study was conducted in SMA N 1 Batang at the second semester in the academic year of 2014/2015. The design used in this study was non equivalent control group. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA, amounting to 160 students and divided into five classes, while samples in this study were class XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 5 were taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that 88% of the experimental class students achieve ≥78 value and 100% of students achieve gain ≥ 0.3 with an average of 0.65. While in the control group only 69% were reached the value ​​≥78 and 94% of students achieved gain ≥ 0.3 with an average of 0.52. And there were differences between the average result in the end of the experimental class and control class, respectively 83.94 and 78.75. The T test results showed t count 3.212> 1.998 t table, it indicated that there was significant differences between the control group and the experimental class. Based on the study results it can be concluded that the role playing method with medispro effectively to improve student learning achievement on the material of human reproduction system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan metode MASTER dengan pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar biologi ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik peserta didik di SMA Negeri 8 Semarang. Penelitian merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan rancangan Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 2 kelas X yang ditentukan secara cluster random sampling. Hasil analisis uji t, rerata postes kelas eksperimen berbeda nyata secara signifikan terhadap rerata postes kelas kontrol. Ketuntasan hasil belajar 83,87% peserta didik tuntas dari KKM yang ditetapkan yaitu ≥72. Persentase keterampilan proses sains dasar 80,65% peserta didik kategori baik. Persentase sikap kritis 81,45% peserta didik kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan metode MASTER dengan pendekatan saintifik berpengeruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik ranah kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif pada materi invertebrata. This research aimed to know the influence of the application of MASTER with scientific approach to biology learning achievement in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities at Senior High School 8 Semarang. This research was Quasi Expeimental Design: Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this research consist of two X grade determined by cluster random sampling. Paired sample t-test showed that posttest average between control and treatment class was significantly different. The result showed that the learning achievement in cognitive has reached 81,45% by KKM ≥72. The psycomotoric achievement showed that the basic sains process skills has reached 80,65% students are  good.  The affective achievement showed that the critical attitude has reached 81,45% students are good. Based on the result and discussion concluded that the application of MASTER with scientific approach can influence the student biology achievement in cognitive, psychomotoric, and affective of invertebrates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kayen Pati. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Colaborrative Action Research (CAR). Tahap-tahap penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) pengamatandan 4) refleksi.Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga siklus pada pembelajaran materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan PPC. Persentase keterampilan bertanya siswa meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 74.19%, siklus II sebesar 77.42% dan siklus III sebesar 90.32%. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sebesar 67.74%, siklus II sebesar 70.97% dan siklus III sebesar 90.32%. Hasil analisis korelasi antara keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan nilai korelasi (r) pada siklus I sebesar 0.452 dengan kategori sedang, siklus II sebesar 0.563 dengan kategori sedang dan pada siklus III sebesar 0.669 dengan kategori kuat. Hubungan positif tersebut diartikan semakin tinggi nilai keterampilan bertanya maka hasil belajar juga akan meningkat. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu: PPCdapat meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI-IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kayen Pati dan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa.     This study aims to improve questioning skill and studentslearning outcomesof class XI-IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pati Kayen. This research is Colaborration Action Research (CAR).The procedures of the research are: 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observating and 4) reflecting.There are three cycles to do this research in the learning of system immune in human body.The results showed there are increased questioning skills and student learning outcomes after application ofPPC. The percentage of questioning skill is 74.19% of first cycle, 77.42% of second cycle and 90.32% of third cycle.Student learning outcomes also show theincreased from 67.74% of first cycle, 70.97% of the second cycle and 90.32% of the third cycle.The results of correlation analysis between the questioning skills and student learning outcomes showed positive and significant relation of the correlation (r) for  0.452 of first cycle in medium categorize, 0.563 of second cycle in medium categorize, and 0.669 of third cycle in strong categorize.This relation means that if the questioning skill is rise, so the result of the study is also rise.The conclusions of this research can be seen as following: PPC can improve the questioning skills and students learning outcomes of class XI-IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kayen Pati and moreover there is a positive and significant relation between questioning skills and student learning outcomes.
