Abstract

  Abstract _______________________________________________________________ This study aimed to describe the effectiveness of utilization of educational websites with learning ARIAS on material structure and function of plant tissue on activity and learning outcomes of students in class XI SMA Negeri 8 Semarang.  This study is optimal if students activity and their outcome in learning process showed ≥ 75% of students are active and very active with their outcome reached ≥ 75. This study is performed in SMA Negeri 8 Semarang in XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4 class at second semester academic year 2013/2014. This study design is true experiment: pre-test post-test control group design. The datas of this study include student learning outcomes and their activities as main datas, and student responses, teacher response, and teacher performance as supporting data. The results of this study are learning completeness of experiment class is 76,67% while control class is 26,67%, and the  N-gain value of test results tn pretest-posttest experimental class and control class obtained t = 3.3 and t = 2.0 tables with α = 5% to 3.3> 2.0 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, as well as student activities that are classified very active and active in experiment class is 76,67% while control class is 53,33%. The conclusion of this study is the utilization educative website and ARIAS model can optimize activity and learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 8 Semarang students in structure and function of plant tissue. Abstrak_______________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan keefektifan pemanfaatan websiteedukatif dengan pembelajaran ARIAS pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Semarang. Penelitian ini dikatakan optimal apabila aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam  proses pembelajaran menunjukkan  ≥ 75% siswa aktif dan sangat aktif, dengan hasil belajar mencapai ≥ 75. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 8 Semarang  pada kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4 semester gasal tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Desain penelitian ini adalah true experiment: pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian ini meliputi hasil belajar dan aktivitas sebagai data utama serta tanggapan siswa, tanggapan guru, dan kinerja guru sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ketuntasan belajar pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 76,67% sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 26,67% dan hasil uji t N-gain nilai pretest posttest kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh t hitung = 3,3 dan t tabel = 2,0 dengan α= 5% sehingga 3,3 > 2,0 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, serta aktivitas belajar siswa yang tergolong sangat aktif dan aktif pada kelas eksperimen sebesar  76,67% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 53,33%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan website edukatif dan model ARIAS dapat mengoptimalkan aktivitas dan  hasil belajar siswa keas XI SMA Negeri 8 Semarang pada materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dengan pendekatan SETS pada siswa SMA. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan pendekatan One-Shot Case Study. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 13 Semarang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI MIPA-1 dan XI MIPA-3. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif, afektif, psikomotorik, serta data tanggapan siswa dan guru. Metode pengambilan data aspek kognitif melalui tes, aspek afektif melalui angket, aspek psikomotorik dengan penugasan serta data tanggapan siswa dan guru  melalui angket. Analisis hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan sebesar ≥ 75 %. Hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif kelas XI MIPA-1 memperoleh ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 89 % sedangkan kelas  XI MIPA-3 memperoleh  85 % ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif dan psikomotorik kelas XI MIPA-1 dan XI MIPA-3 memperoleh ketuntasan sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis post test dengan uji t one sampel diperoleh hasil t hitung sebesar 7,376. Karena harga t hitung > t tabel maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh dengan pendekatan SETS pada siswa SMA berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of SETS-approach biology learning in concept of the immune system on high school students. This study is a Pre-Experimental Design with One-Shot Case Study. The population was all students of class XI SMA Negeri 13 Semarang MIPA. The sample is class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA-3 by purposive sampling technique. Data collected was student learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, students’ and teachers’ response.  The data of cognitive aspect was from test, affective from questionnaires, psychomotor aspects from the assignments and data of students’ and teachers’ response were from questionnaires. Analysis of learning outcomes showed that students achieved ≥ 75% mastery. The students’ classical cognitive aspect of XI MIPA-1 was 89% while XI MIPA-3 was 85%. The students affective and psychomotor aspects completeness of XI MIPA -1 and XI MIPA-3 were both 100%. The post-test analysis with one sample t-test gave t-calculate of  7.376. Because the t-count> t-table, it can be concluded that the SETS-approach biology learning in concept of  the immune system gave a positive effect on senior high school students’ learning outcome.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas metode role playing berbantuan medispro dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Batang pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalentcontrol group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA yang berjumlah 160 siswa dan terbagi dalam 5 kelas, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI MIPA 3 dan XI MIPA 5 yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 88% siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai nilai ≥78 dan 100% siswa mencapai gain ≥ 0,3 dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,65. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hanya 69% yang mencapai nilai ≥78 dan 94% siswa mencapai gain ≥ 0,3 dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,52. Serta terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai akhir kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yaitu masing-masing 83,94 dan 78,75. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung 3,212 > ttabel 1,998, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode role playing berbantuan medispro efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia.  This study aims to find out the effectiveness of role playing method with medispro to improve students’ learning achievement on the material of human reproduction system. This study was conducted in SMA N 1 Batang at the second semester in the academic year of 2014/2015. The design used in this study was non equivalent control group. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA, amounting to 160 students and divided into five classes, while samples in this study were class XI MIPA 3 and XI MIPA 5 were taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that 88% of the experimental class students achieve ≥78 value and 100% of students achieve gain ≥ 0.3 with an average of 0.65. While in the control group only 69% were reached the value ​​≥78 and 94% of students achieved gain ≥ 0.3 with an average of 0.52. And there were differences between the average result in the end of the experimental class and control class, respectively 83.94 and 78.75. The T test results showed t count 3.212> 1.998 t table, it indicated that there was significant differences between the control group and the experimental class. Based on the study results it can be concluded that the role playing method with medispro effectively to improve student learning achievement on the material of human reproduction system.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas LKS yang digunakan, mengembangkan LKS dengan pendekatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PBP) dan berwawasan salingtemas, dan menentukan validitas, efektivitas, dan keterterapan LKS hasil pengembangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development. Fokus penelitian adalah validitas, efektivitas, dan keterterapan LKS hasil pengembangan. LKS hasil pengembangan memiliki karakteristik mengaitkan materi pembelajaran dengan situasi nyata yang telah terjadi di sekitar siswa, berisikan kegiatan eksploratif dan point plus. LKS hasil pengembangan telah diuji rata-rata validitasnya dan dinyatakan sangat valid oleh ketiga validator dengan hasil penilaian 88,45%. LKS hasil pengembangan efektif ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa (90,27). Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat tinggi terhadap penerapan LKS hasil pengembangan. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu LKS hasil pengembangan dengan pendekatan PBP dan berwawasan salingtemas valid, efektif dan dapat diterapkan sebagai bahan ajar di SMA N 1 Nawangan.       Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This study aims to analyze the use worksheets, worksheets develop PBL and insightful approach salingtemas, and determine the validity, effectiveness, and apllicable worksheets result of the development. This type of research is research Research and Development. The focus of research is the validity, effectiveness, and apllicable worksheets result of the development. Worksheets result of the development has a characteristic product of the development of learning materials linked to the real situation that has been going around students, containing exploratory activity and contains a plus point. Worksheets has tested the validity of the results of development and expressed very valid by the validator third with 88.45% yield assessment. Worksheets effective development outcomes indicated by the increasing value of the average classroom student learning outcomes X.2 is 90.27. Teachers and students gave very high responses to the application of the results of development worksheets. The conclusions of this research is LKS develop PBL and insightful approach salingtemas valid, effective and can be applied as teaching materials in SMA N 1 Nawangan.

Abstract

Abstract SMP Negeri 9 Magelang has implemented the pilot curriculum 2013 and the students’ habit of critical thinking in science was put as major emphasis. Thinking habits in science   is not automically easy to be implemented, and need some preparations. This study aimed to describe thinking habits of students during their learning. Survey method was implemented during the academic year 2014/2015. The science material learned was physical quantities. Data of the implemented scientific approach in science was gathered by observation sheets and questionnaires. The critical thinking habit in science was measured with questionnaire instrument of critical thinking. The population was all of grade VII students.  Sample was collected by convenience sampling technique, and grade VII B class was treated as a research sample. The data was analysed by descriptive methods. Research result showed that the  implementation of scientific approach in  science procces, on topic ‘physical quantities’ was conducted with syntact as follows : (1) students observed an orange tree picture, continued with reading  the words table of physical quantities; (2) students  asked a questions about the quantities definition; (3) students did not yet  indicate  ‘reasoning activities’  (4) students did not yet  involved in the experiment activities by student, and (5) students  presented their  understanding of  physical quantities. Student habits of critical thinking was obviously indicated by 65% students (1) conducted repetition when gathering data; (2) used the references when sharing opinions; (3) used the correct practicum tools; (4) carefully interpreted the data related; and by 70% students (1) accommodated the suggestion before giving an agreement (2) took a side in right opinion (3) asked the deep explanation to teachers (4) made the hypotesis more than one. Students presented their open thinking and carefulness in collecting reliable information. The management of science teaching was expected to be focussed on the development of high level thinking capability.   Abstrak SMP N 9 Magelang telah menerapkan ujicoba kurikulum 2013 dan kebiasaan berpikir kritis siswa saat pembelajaran IPA merupakan penekanan kurikulum 2013. Pembiasaan berpikir pada pendekatan scientific tidak mudah, menantang, dan membutuhkan persiapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebiasaan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA sesuai kurikulum 2013 yang menerapkan pendekatan scientific di SMP N 9 Magelang. Metode survei dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 9 Magelang pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Topik IPA yang dipelajari adalah Besaran Fisika. Data tentang penerapan pendekatan scientific dalam pembelajaran IPA dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan angket kerterlaksanaan. Kebiasaan berpikir kritis dalam IPA diukur dengan instrumen kuesioner berpikir kritis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP N 9 Magelang. Penarikan sampel dilakukan secara convenience sampling dan siswa kelas VII B sebagai sampel penelitian. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan scientific pada proses pembelajaran IPA, topik Besaran Fisika berlangsung mengikuti sintak: (1) siswa mengamati gambar pohon jeruk yang dilanjutkan dengan membaca tabel kata-kata besaran fisika; (2) siswa mengajukan pertanyaan  tentang definisi intensitas cahaya dan guru menjawab, kemudian guru memberikan pertanyaan definisi besaran; (3)  belum terlihat kegiatan menalar saat pembelajaran; (4)  belum terlihat  kegiatan percobaan yang dilakukan oleh siswa;  dan (5) siswa mempresentasikan pemahamannya tentang besaran fisika. Kebiasaan berpikir kritis siswa terlihat jelas, saat  65% siswa  (1) melakukan pengulangan saat pengumpulan data; (2) menggunakan referensi dalam berpendapat; (3) menggunakan alat praktikum yang sesuai; (4) menginterprestasi keterkaitan data; dan saat 70% siswa (1) menampung saran sebelum menyetujui; (2) berpihak pada pendapat yang lebih benar; (3) meminta penjelasan lebih lanjut kepada guru; dan (4) membuat hipotesis lebih dari satu. Siswa menunjukkan pemikiran terbuka dan siswa memiliki ketelitian dalam mengumpulkan informasi yang terpercaya. Pengelolaan pembelajaran IPA diharapkan berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi lainnya.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________This research aimed to know the application of Accelerated Learning with MASTER consept completed by puzzle approach toward activity and biology learning achievement on skeleton system subject at SMPN 13Semarang. This research design was Pre Experimental Design, without control group. The design used one shot case study. The subjek of this research was the students in class VIIIat SMPN13Semarang that consisted of two between eight classes. The result showed that classical student activity have reached >75% and the final grade of each treatment class have reached >85% by KKM predetermined researchers was ≥71. Based on the result and the discussion concluded that the application of Accelerated Learning completed by puzzle can influence the student activity and learning achievement of SMPN13Semarang student on skeleton system. Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pendekatan Accelerated Learning dengan konsep MASTER disertai media puzzle terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMPN 13 Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Experimental Design, yang dilaksanakan tanpa menggunakan kelas kontrol. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola One shot case study. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 diantara 8 kelas VIII di SMPN 13 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa secara klasikal telah mencapai >75% dan ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar siswa pada masing-masing kelas perlakuan telah mencapai >85% dengan KKM yang telah ditentukan peneliti yaitu ≥71. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa penerapan pendekatan Accelerated Learning disertai media puzzle berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem gerak.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan berbantuan modul daur ulang limbah pada literasi sains siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui pada kelas eksperimen rerata nilai pretest 57.63 rerata nilai posttest 89.56, pada kelas kontrol rerata nilai pretest 57.52 rerata nilai posttest 77.07. Hasil uji perbedaan dua rata-rata nilai posttestmenunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan t hitung 8.515> t tabel 1.67. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji N-Gain peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai 100% sedangkan kelas kontrol 87%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan berbantuan modul daur ulang limbah berpengarauh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi sains siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan. This research aimed for analysing the influence of project-based learning implementation which supported by waste recycling module toward the students’ scientific literacy skill. The design of this research was uasi Experimental Design. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan with X MIPA 1 as the experiment class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. The sample was taken by Purposive Sampling. Based on the result, it was known that in the experiment class, the average of pre-test was 57.63, while the average of post-test was 89.56. In the control class, the average of pre-test was 57.52, while the average of post-test was 77.07. The result of the average of post-tests showed a significant difference between the students scientific literacy skill of the experimental class and the control class with t count 8.515 > t tabel 1.67. Based on N-Gain test analysis, the raise of the experiment class’s scientific literacy skill reached 100%, while the raise of the control class’s scientific literacy skill reached 87%. The conclusion of this research was the implementation of project-based learning which supported by waste recycling module had a significant influence toward students’ science literacy skill in SMA Negeri 3 Pekalongan.
