Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the application of Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) Approach in teaching the digestive system for the student’s science process skills at SMA N 12 semarang. This research was a Quasi Experimental Design research with Pre-test and Post-test of Non-equivalent Control Group Design which was for XI IPA 1 class as the experimental group and XI IPA 2 class as the control group. Method of choosing the sample was purposive sampling. The data were in the form of science process skills, learning result, students’ and teacher’s response. The analysis resulted in a correlation coefficient of 0.31 and determination coefficient of 10%. The percentage of experimental class’ result was higher than control class (100% > 57%). 97% of the students responded well towards whereas the teacher gave positive response for the learning procedure. According to those results, it can be concluded that the application of Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) in learning the digestive system had positive effect in the students’ mastery on science process skills. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pendekatan Jelajah Alam sekitar dalam pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan terhadap penguasaan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA N 12 Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi eksperimental design dengan pola Pre and Post-test Non-equivalent Control Group Design dan diterapkan pada kelas XI IPA1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Data berupa penguasaaan keterampilan proses sains, hasil belajar, tanggapan siswa, dan tanggapan guru. Hasil analisis menunjukkan harga koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,31 dan koefisisen determinasi sebesar 10%. Persentase hasil belajar kelas eksperimen > hasil belajar kelas kontrol (100% > 57%). Pembelajaran yang dilakukan ditanggapi baik oleh guru dan ditanggapi sangat baik oleh 97% siswa. Berdasarkan hasil, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Jelajah Alam sekitar dalam pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan berpengaruh positif terhadap penguasaan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh games education (GE) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian true - eksperimental design tipe randomized subject posttest – only control group design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 38 Semarang. Sampel  penelitian  diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu mengambil dua kelas secara acak dari populasi yang homogen. Sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas VIIIB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh games education (GE)pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dianalisis perbedaan reratanya menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan, apabila ada perbedaan rerata aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukan adanya pengaruh games education (GE) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The study aims to determine the effect of games education (GE) on the activity and student learning outcomes in the human circulatory system material. This research is true - the type of randomized experimental design subject posttest - only control group design with the entire population of eighth grade students Junior High School 38 Semarang. Samples were taken using cluster random sampling technique that is taking two classes at random from a homogeneous population. Selected sample is class VIIIB as experimental class and class VIIIA as a control class. The independent variable in this study is the influence of games education (GE) in the matter of the human circulatory system, while the dependent variable is the activity and student learning outcomes. Value activities and student learning outcomes mean differences were analyzed using t-test. Based on the indicators of success, if there are differences in mean activity and student learning outcomes between experimental class and control class games shows the influence of education (GE) to the activity and student learning outcomes.The results showed that the activities and learning outcomes in experimental class is higher than the control class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan  pendekatan saintifik berbantuan biotrivial pursuit game berbasis Bioedutainment materi sistem organisasi kehidupan pada siswa kelas VII SMP.Penelitian ini Pre Eksperimental Design dengan one-shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di SMP N 1 Ungaran dengan sampel kelas VII A dan VII B yang dipilih dengan metode Convenience Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran Biotrivial Pursuit berbasis bioedutainment pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan mampu mengkatifkan siswa sebesar 99% dan 98,6% siswa mendapatkan nilai lebih dari 80 serta tanggapan positif siswa sebesar 97,5% kemudian untuk tanggapan guru dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif mendapatkan tanggapan positif atau baik.Dari hasil dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Biotrivial Pursuit Game berbasis bioedutainment efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi sistem organisasi kehidupan This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the scientific approach with Biotrivial pursuit game Bioedutainment-based, the topic is system organization of life in Junior High school grade class VII. This study is a Pre Experimental Design with a one-shot case study. The population in this study was all students of class VII in SMP N 1 Ungaran with samples of class VII A and VII B using Convenience sampling method.  This Research  shows that learning media Biotrivial Pursuit bioedutainment based on the material system is able to activate the organization of student life at 99% and 98.6% of students get more value from 80 and student positive responses at 97.5% and then to the teachers response to the descriptive qualitative method to get a positive response or Good. From the results and discussion concluded that media-based learning Biotrivial Pursuit Games bioedutainment effectively applied to the learning material life organization system

Abstract

Student worksheets are integral parts of instructional models by which teachers create particular tasks to involve students in inquiry processes and character deveopment. This study was aimed at developing and field-testing the use of character-based biology worksheet on student achievement. It belonged to Research and Development with Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Design as field-testing design. Sample was collected by convenience sampling technique. T-test results showed significant difference between treated and non-treatedgroups (tcount > ttable). Simple linear regression test results showed that implementation of the character-based worksheet brought a significant effect on student achievement, namely post-test scores (probability sig.<0.05; r square 0.72) and affective score (probability sig.< 0.05; r square 0.62). The conclusion of this research was that character-based worksheet implementation had significant effect on student achievement. Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) merupakan bagian integral dari suatu model pembelajaran pilihan guru, namun belum  tentu tugas pada LKS  mendorong siswa terlibat dalam proses inkuiri biologi yang mendorong penanaman karakter, sementara itu, obyek dan fenomena ekosistem berpotensi untuk penanaman karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji pengaruh LKS berbasis karakter terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan pola Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang diterapkan pada kelas VIIC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIID sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil uji T menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung > ttabel). Uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa penerapan LKS berbasis karakter berpengaruh terhadap nilai hasil belajar, yaitu skor post-test (nilai sig.< 0.05; r Square 0,72) dan skor afektif (nilai sig.< 0.05; r Square 0,62). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah LKS berbasis karakter berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model TPS terintegrasi Mind mapping terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria di MAN 2 Brebes pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Quasi Experiment dengan desain Noneequivalent Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah kelas X MIA 3 berjumlah 38 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang dan X MIA 4 berjumlah 32 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penyelesaian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, tugas, tes, dan angket. Data kreativitas berupa hasil observasi dan hasil Mind mapping yang dibuat siswa. Hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari peningkatan nilai Pre-test dan Post-test. Hasil perhitungan kreativitas menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mencapai kriteria kreatif sedangkan kelas kontrol kurang kreatif. Analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh model terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar dilakukan dengan uji Independent Samples t Test. Hasil uji t data kreativitas siswa menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model konvensional dengan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model TPS. N-Gain kedua kelas juga terbukti berbeda signifikan. Berdasarkan hasil pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model TPS terintegrasi Mind mapping berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria. This research aimed to discover the effect of applyingTPS model integrated with Mind mapping to the students’ creativity and learning achievement inArchaebacteria and Eubacteria subject in MAN 2 Brebes in the first semester inthe academic year 2015/2016. It appliedthe Quasi Experiment with Noneequivalent Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. The sample of the researchused were38 students of X MIA 3 as the class control and 32 students of X MIA 4 as the experimental classby applying Purposive Sampling technique. The procedure of the research included the steps of preparing, conductingandfinishing. The technique to collect the data was done by observation, assignments, tests, and questionnaire. The data of creativity was presented as the observation result and Mind mapping resultmade by the students. The result of cognitive learning was gained by from the improvementon the score in Pre-test and Post-test. The result from the creativity counting shows thatthe experimental classachieves the criteria of creativitywhile class control is less creative. The analysis used for discovering the effect of the model to the students’ creativity and learning achievement is done by Independent samples t test. Based on the result of t test, the data of students’ creativity presents a significant difference between class control which applied conventional model and experimental class which applied TPS. Both of the classes’ N-Gain prove a significant difference. Based on the previous discussion, it can be concluded that the application of TPS model which is integrated with Mind mapping effects on the students’ creativity and learning achievement in Archaebacteria dan Eubacteria subject.

Abstract

Hasil observasi awal di sekolah yang telah mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013 di kota Semarang menunjukkan guru Biologi SMA mengalami hambatan pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hambatan dan mendeskripsikan upaya pemecahan hambatan guru Biologi SMA di kota Semarang dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMA N 2, SMA N 5, SMA N 13, SMA Kesatrian 1, dan SMA Kesatrian 2 kota Semarang pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah guru Biologi SMA kelas X, siswa kelas X, dan dokumen RPP. Data tentang hambatan guru Biologi SMA dalam perencanaan pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013 diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket guru dan dokumen RPP (Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran). Hambatan pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket guru dan angket siswa. Pedoman wawancara digunakan sebagai data tambahan tanggapan guru BiologiSMA terhadap implementasi Kurikulum 2013. Hasil penelitian berupa hambatan guru pada perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada perencanaan pembelajaran kualitas RPP guru tergolong sangat baik dan hambatan guru dalam menyusun RPP tergolong rendah. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran tergolong hambatan sedang dan tanggapan siswa terhadap implementasi Kurikulum 2013 tergolong baik. Pada evaluasi pembelajaran tergolong dalam hambatan rendah dan tanggapan siswa terhadap implementasi Kurikulum 2013 tergolong sangat baik. Result of preliminary observations in schools which have implemented Curriculum 2013 at Semarang showed that highschool Biology teachers have obstacles in Curriculum 2013 learning plan, learning implementation, and learning assesement. This study aims to analyze and describe obstacles to a solutions of Semarang senior high school Biology teachers in implementing the Curriculum 2013. This research was done by qualitative method, with research sites in SMA N 2, SMA N 5, SMA N 13, SMA Kesatrian 1, and SMA Kesatrian 2 Semarang of the school year 2014/2015 odd semester. This research data sources were X grade Biology teachers, X grade students, and lesson plan documents. Data about obstacles of X grade Biology teachers in learning plan was measured using teacher questionnaire, student questionnaire, and lesson plan documents. Data about obstacles of X grade Biology teachers in learning implementation and learning assesement was measured using teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire. Interview guidance is used as secondary data of X grade Biology teachers implementing Curriculum 2013 perception. The result of the learning plan showed that teachers’ lesson plan quality was very good and teacher obstacles of learning plan was in low criteria. Learning implementation obstacles was in intermediate criteria and students perception in implementing Curriculum 2013 was in good criteria. The result of the learning assessment showed that the obstacles was in low criteria and students perception was in very good criteria

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Taman sekolah dapat berperan sebagai sumber belajar, namun belum terdapat suatu bahan ajar berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) yang dapat mengakomodasi pemanfaatannya sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan LKS berbasis observasi pada taman sekolah sebagai sumber belajar sains di SD. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD N Tinjomoyo 1 Semarang, pada dua kelas IV. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D, dengan penekanan pada penilaian kelayakan dan ujicoba LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penilaian kelayakan LKS oleh: pakar materi sebesar 90% (sangat layak), pakar desain sebesar 96% (sangat layak), dan guru sebesar 93,18% (sangat layak). Hasil pengujian LKS pada kelas skala kecil (kelas IVB) menunjukkan: rerata aktivitas siswa sebesar 94,6 %, siswa tuntas belajar sebanyak 90%, dengan rerata nilai sebesar 7,08. Selanjutnya pengujian pada kelas skala besar (kelas IVA) menunjukkan peningkatan yaitu: rerata aktivitas siswa sebesar 100 %, siswa tuntas belajar sebanyak 92,11%, dengan rerata nilai sebesar 7,84. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan LKS berbasis observasi taman sekolah, layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar sains di SD N 1 Tinjomoyo  Semarang. .   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The school garden can be learning resources, but yet there is no student worksheet that can accommodate  the use of garden as learning resources. This study aimed  to determine the feasibility of the student worksheet developed after  observing  the school garden as a source of learning science. This study was conducted at SD N Tinjomoyo 1 Semarang, on two grade 4th classes. The study design used was  R&D, with the emphasis on the feasibility assesment and the testing of  the worksheet. The results showed that the worksheets  was  appreciated by:  biology learning materials experts 90% (very feasible), design experts 96% (very good),  teacher by 93.18% (very appropriate). The worksheet analysis showed that, on small-scale class (class IVB): the average score of students activity was 94.6%, 90% of students passed  the study, with an average score 7.08. Based on large-scale field testing (class IVA), it  showed that: the average of student activity was  100%, 92.11% students passed the study, with an average score of 7.84. The conclusion was that  the development of schools garden observation-based worksheets, was suitable for  the  use as science instructional materials at  SD N 1 Tinjomoyo Semarang.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran kontekstual model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) materi bahan kimia dalam kehidupan terhadap di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental design, dengan populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 8 kelas yang berjumlah 280 siswa. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan metode purposif sampling (2 kelas yang diajar oleh guru yang sama),  yaitu kelas VIII H sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kontekstual dengan model Numbered Heads Together(NHT) pada materi bahan kimia dalam kehidupan, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar siswa (posttest). Nilaiposttest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dianalisis perbedaan rerata dengan menggunakan uji t, dilanjutkan uji n-gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa secara individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajarankontekstual model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. This researc is a quasi experimental design, the population is all students in grade 8 that consist of 8 class. Sample taken by purposif sampling (2 class that teach bay same teacher), there are VIII H as experiment class and VIII F as control. Independet variabel in this research is contextual learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) model in the chemical material in life, while the dependent variabel is the student learning outcomes. Experiment and control class posttest value then analize by t test to knows the diferences, continued by gain test to determined increased of student undertstanding individually. The result showed that the experimental class student learning outcomes is higher than control class

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning  dengan gaya belajar VAK (Visual, Auditori, Kinestetik) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, afektif,  dan psikomotor serta aktivitas siswa pada materi invertebrata di SMA Negeri Ajibarang. Penelitian Quasi Eksperimental menggunakanPosttest-Only Design. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Variabel bebas berupa model pembelajaran discovery learning  dengan gaya belajar VAK. Variabel terikat berupa hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa, yaitu hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor serta aktivitas siswa.  Hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan uji-t, sedangkan aktivitas siswa dengan deskriptif persentase. Rerata hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor siswa kelas eksperimen > kontrol, yaitu (3.16>2.57), (3.30>2.99), dan (2.82>2.20). Thitung rerata hasil belajar kognitif 6.44, afektif 6.50, dan psikomotor 6.41, sedangkan ttabel 1.99. Artinya, hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor kelas eksperimen berbeda signifikan dibandingkan kontrol. Jumlah siswa kelas eksperimen yang sangat aktif dan aktif 91.18%, sedangkan kontrol hanya 35.29%. Simpulan penelitian yaitu model discovery learning dengan gaya belajar VAK berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif, afekif, dan psikomotor siswa pada materi Invertebrata di SMA Negeri Ajibarang. Model pembelajaran tersebut juga lebih mengaktifkan siswa. This study aimed to determine the influence of discovery learning model with VAK learning styles (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic) towards cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievement as well as students’ activities on invertebrate material at SMA Negeri Ajibarang. The Quasi-Experimental Research used Posttest-Only Design. The sample taking used purposive sampling. The independent variable was discovery learning model with VAK learning styles. The dependent variable was the learning achievement and students’ activity, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor with students’ activities. The students’ learning achievements were analyzed with t-test, meanwhile the students’ activities were analyzed with descriptive percentages. The mean of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievement of the experiment students class > control, it was (3.16>2.57), (3.30>2.99), and (2.82>2.20). The mean of Tcalculate cognitive achievement was 6,44, affective 6,50, and psychomotor 6,4, while the Ttable was 1,99. It means that, the cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievement of the experiment class was significantly different than control. The number of students in the experiment class who were very active and active was 91, 18%, while the control was only 35,29%. The conclusion of this study was that discovery learning model with VAK learning style had significance influence towards the cognitive, affective and psychomotor achievement at the students in invertebrate material at SMA Negeri Ajibarang. That learning model also made the students be more active.
