Abstract

The aim of research determine difference between learning outcomes and student activity using learning model Picture and Picture assisted specimens on material Invertebrates. Research of design use one shoot case study. The sample was class X-1 and X-2 determined Total Sampling technique. The independent variable was learning model used Picture and Picture helped Invertebrates specimens, while dependent of variable was learning outcomes (LKS score and final exam score) and student activities. The activity student learning in classical style in class X-1 was 88% and X-2  was 86%. The cognitive learning outcomes students used  classical style in class X-1 was  93,78% and class X-2 was 88,8%. The outcomes data teacher performance in class X-1 and X-2 was very good, both classes indicated average grade of 15. The students response in class X-1 was 85.1% while in class X-2 was 93,8%. Teaching response toward method showed interest and agree using LKS models Picture and Picture helped Invertebrates specimens  appicated this study.The conclusions this study is application learning models Picture and Picture helped Invertebrates specimens method can increase activity students in classical style was 87% and student learning outcomes in classical style was 86.33% apply in senoir high school of Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran picture and picture berbantuan spesimen pada materi invertebrata. Desain penelitian ini one shoot case study. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X-1 dan X-2 yang ditentukan dengan teknik total sampling. Variabel bebas berupa model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berbantuan spesimen Invertebrata, sedangkan variabel terikat berupa hasil belajar (nilai LKS dan nilai akhir) dan aktivitas siswa. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa secara klasikal kelas X-1 sebesar 93,78% dan kelas X-2 sebesar 88,88. Aktivitas siswa secara klasikal pada kelas X-1 sebesar 88% dan X-2 sebesar 86%.. Kinerja guru pada kelas X-1 dan X-2 sangat baik. Tanggapan siswa kelas X-1 sebesar 85,1% dan kelas X-2 sebesar 93,8%. Tanggapan guru menunjukkan bahwa guru tertarik dan setuju menggunakan media LKS dengan model Picture and Picture berbantuan spesimen Invertebrata yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Picture and Picture berbantuan spesimen pada materi Invertebrata dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa secara klasikal sebesar 87% dan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal sebesar 86,33% di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang.

Abstract

Purpose of this study was to develop portofolio assessment rubrics of studentscientific processes on ecosystems. This study was Research and Development, using One Shot Case Study experimental design for its field-testing. The samples of this study were 135 yunior secondary school students (class VIIA, VIIB, VIIC, and VIIG). Research steps were as follows: problems and potential identification, data collection, product design, validation, field-testing and final production. Data were collected from (1) eligibility of portfolio assessment rubric of student scientific processes on ecosystems, (2) final scores of portfolios, and (3) student and teacher responses. Data was analyzed by descriptive percentages. ANOVA was used to identify the different average of portfolio scores.  The results showed that portofolio assessment rubrics could be used to assess students scientific processes on ecosystem. The average assessment scores from experts to the portfolio assessment rubrics of students’ scientific processes on ecosystem were 99.07% (very appropriate). The average assessment scores of  portfolio class VIIC during field testing were 73,47. Average scores of portfolio was follows: 75,56 (VIIA), 76,17 (VIIB), and 76,51 (VIIG). ANOVA test showed the average assessment of portfolio was not significantly different from other three the groups. A portfolio assessment was reliable or rubrics could be used well.  Student and teacher responses to portofolio assessment rubrics of students’ scientific processes on ecosystems was very good. The conclusions of this study was that the develop portofolio assessment rubrics of students’ scientific processes on ecosystem was able to be used for SMPNegeri 1 Wedarijakasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem. Penelitian merupakan Research and Development, desain eksperiment menggunakan one shot case study. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIIA, VIIB, VIIC dan VIIG berjumlah 135 siswa. Langkah-langkah penelitian meliputi analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, uji coba produk, uji coba pemakaian dan produk final. Data penelitian berupa kelayakan rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem, nilai portofolio, tanggapan siswa dan guru. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase. Ada atau tidaknya perbedaan rata-rata nilai portofolio diuji menggunakan ANAVA. Hasil penelitian berupa rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem. Rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa materi ekosistem sangat layak, nilai rata-rata kelayakan 99,07%. Rata-rata nilai portofolio kelas VIIC pada uji coba awal 73,47. Rata-rata nilai portofolio kelas VIIA, VIIB, dan VIIG pada uji coba pemakaian adalah 75,56 ; 76,17 dan 76,51. Hasil uji ANAVA rata-rata nilai portofolio tidak berbeda secara nyata atau ajeg. Tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains sangat baik. Simpulan penelitian telah dihasilkan rubrik penilaian portofolio proses sains siswa yang layak dan baik digunakan pada materi ekosistem di SMPN 1 Wedarijaksa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kayen Pati. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Colaborrative Action Research (CAR). Tahap-tahap penelitian ini meliputi kegiatan: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan tindakan, 3) pengamatandan 4) refleksi.Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga siklus pada pembelajaran materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan PPC. Persentase keterampilan bertanya siswa meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 74.19%, siklus II sebesar 77.42% dan siklus III sebesar 90.32%. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sebesar 67.74%, siklus II sebesar 70.97% dan siklus III sebesar 90.32%. Hasil analisis korelasi antara keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan nilai korelasi (r) pada siklus I sebesar 0.452 dengan kategori sedang, siklus II sebesar 0.563 dengan kategori sedang dan pada siklus III sebesar 0.669 dengan kategori kuat. Hubungan positif tersebut diartikan semakin tinggi nilai keterampilan bertanya maka hasil belajar juga akan meningkat. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu: PPCdapat meningkatkan keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI-IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kayen Pati dan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan bertanya dan hasil belajar siswa.     This study aims to improve questioning skill and studentslearning outcomesof class XI-IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Pati Kayen. This research is Colaborration Action Research (CAR).The procedures of the research are: 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observating and 4) reflecting.There are three cycles to do this research in the learning of system immune in human body.The results showed there are increased questioning skills and student learning outcomes after application ofPPC. The percentage of questioning skill is 74.19% of first cycle, 77.42% of second cycle and 90.32% of third cycle.Student learning outcomes also show theincreased from 67.74% of first cycle, 70.97% of the second cycle and 90.32% of the third cycle.The results of correlation analysis between the questioning skills and student learning outcomes showed positive and significant relation of the correlation (r) for  0.452 of first cycle in medium categorize, 0.563 of second cycle in medium categorize, and 0.669 of third cycle in strong categorize.This relation means that if the questioning skill is rise, so the result of the study is also rise.The conclusions of this research can be seen as following: PPC can improve the questioning skills and students learning outcomes of class XI-IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kayen Pati and moreover there is a positive and significant relation between questioning skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan apakah penerapan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok berbantuan multimedia dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran materi identifikasi bakteri di SMK N 1 Kalibagor. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMK N 1 Kalibagor, sedangkan sampelnya yaitu siswa kelas I A MP dan I ATP. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one shot case study, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ≥ 80% siswa aktif dan sangat aktif  dalam pembelajaran dan ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal siswa kelas I AMP dan 1 ATP lebih besar dari pembelajaran sebelumnya yang tidak menerapkan pembelajaran investigasi kelompok berbantuan multimedia, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok berbantuan multimedia dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran materi identifikasi bakteri di SMK N 1 Kalibagor Kabupaten Banyumas.     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this study was to find out whether the application of the multimedia-assisted group investigation learning model affected  student’s activity and learning results on Bacteria learning materials at State Vocational School 1 Kalibagor. The population in this study was all X grade students of State Vocational School 1 Kalibagor, while the samples were I A MP and I ATP students. The research design used was one shot case study, while its data analyses were improved by triangulation. The result of the study showed that more than  80% students  were classified as very active and active in their learning and the achievement of classical learning result of I AMP students and 1 ATP students were higher than that of  the class without the multimedia-assisted group investigation learning model. It could  be concluded that the application of multimedia-assisted group investigation learning model brought a significant effect on student’s activity and learning result on  Bacteria Identification  learning materials at  State Vocational School 1 Kalibagor, Banyumas District.

Abstract

AbstractThe purposes of this study were to analyze the difference of student’s metacognitive skill score between PBL class and Jigsaw class, analyze the difference of student’s learning outcomes between PBL class and Jigsaw class,  and analyze the relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes. This was an experimental research. The population was 156 students in grade XI Science in State Senior High School 1 Pecangaan, Jepara academic year 2013/2014. Cluster random sampling technique was used and result two groups, namely PBL group  and Jigsaw group . The PBL group  was subjected to Problem Based Learning model, and the Jigsaw group was subjected to Jigsaw model. After learning, metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes of cognitive test performed in both groups PBL and Jigsaw to collect the data. The results showed that there was no differences average of metacognitive skill score between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, there was differences of learning outcomes between students in PBL class and Jigsaw class, PBL class showed a higher learning outcomes significantly than Jigsaw class, there was a possitive strong relationship between metacognitive skill score and learning outcomes, and the percentage of students who reach the mastery learning in group subjected Problem Based Learning more than or equal to 75%, whereas in group subjected Jigsaw less than 75%. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan keterampilan metakognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, dan menganalisis hubungan antara keterampilan metakognitif dengan hasil belajar kognitif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 Pecangaan, Jepara tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik cluster random sampling terpilih dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kelas PBL dan kelompok kelas Jigsaw. Kelompok PBL dikenai pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dan kelompok Jigsaw dikenai model pembelajaran model Jigsaw. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran pada kedua kelompok dilakukan pengumpulan data dengan tes lembar inventori kesadaran metakognitif dan tes hasil belajar kognitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata skor keterampilan metakognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa antara kelas PBL dan kelas Jigsaw, kelas PBL menunjukkan hasil belajar kognitif yang lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibanding kelas Jigsaw, adanya hubungan positif yang kuat antara skor keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar kognitif, dan persentase siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran PBL lebih dari atau sama dengan 75%, sedangkan kelompok yang menggunakan pembelajaran Jigsaw kurang dari 75%.

Abstract

The purpose of this researchwas to knewthe teaching materials used in Junior High School of YPE Semarang, developed modules suitable with the characteristics of conservation and reasonable used for learning, and knew the effectiveness of the conservation modules on biodiversity material to the student learning outcomes in Junior High School of YPE Semarang. This research used a design research and development , and the trial big scale used design Control Group Pre - test Post - test . The subjects research on product trialwas student of class VII A as the control class and VII B as the experimental class . The results of research showed thatestimation of  the conservation modules development by media expert94 % and material expert 90 % with really reasonable categorized. Positive respons studentto used the results of module development reached 98.8 % , and based on the trial module usage showed that learning outcomes the experimental class higher thanthe control class, classical completeness of the experimental class reached 92 % , while the control class reached 72 % . This research concluded that the development of conservation moduleswasreasonable and effective inbiodiversity material learning.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahan ajar yang digunakan di SMP YPE Semarang, mengembangkan modul sesuai dengan karakteristik konservasi dan layak untuk pembelajaran. serta mengetahui keefektifanmodul konservasi materi keanekaragaman hayati terhadap hasil belajar  siswa SMP YPE Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain research and development, dan pada uji coba skala luas digunakan rancangan Control Group Pre-test Post-test. Subjek penelitian untuk uji coba produk adalah siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas kontrol dan VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian hasil pengembangan modul konservasi oleh pakar media 94% dan pakar materi 90% dengan kategori sangat layak. Tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan hasil pengembangan modul mencapai 98,8% (positif). Berdasarkan uji coba pemakaian modul menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yaitu ketuntasan klasikal kelas eksperimen mencapai 92%, sedangkan kelas kontrol mencapai 72%. Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa pengembangan modul konservasi layak digunakan dan efektif diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi keanekaragaman hayati.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Pekalongan adalah salah satu sekolah yang menerapkan tutor sebaya sebagai metode pembelajaran andalan untuk mensukseskan Ujian Nasional kelas XII. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi yang dimiliki siswa Kelas XII IPA Tahun 2015/2016 terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi. Pengambilan data penelitian dengan triangulasi teknik yaitu menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data hasil teknik triangulasi dengan model Miles and Huberman. Hasil observasi menggunakan teknik angket dan wawancara menyatakan bahwa pelaksanaan Tutor Sebaya Biologi sudah baik dan mendukung adanya gambaran positif yang dimiliki siswa. Hasil data dokumentasi mendukung persepsi positif yang dimiliki siswa. Kesimpulannya adalah siswa kelas XII memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penerapan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi, sehingga penerapan tutor sebaya pada Mata Pelajaran Biologi dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi untuk mata pelajaran lain yang diujikan khusunya di SMA N 1 Pekalongan. SMA 1 (Senior High School 1) Pekalongan has been implementing peer tutoring as the main learning method to improve the students’s National Examination achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of the XII grade Science student of 2015/2016 academic year on the implementing of peer tutoring as learnig method in Biology subject. Data was collected by triangulation technique using questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. Data was analyzed using Miles and Huberman technique. The result of Observation using technique questionnaires and interviews that the implementation of Peer Tutoring was a good practice and can support the existence of positive envision of student. Similary, the documentation support the high participation of student. It was concluded that XII grade Science students have a positive perception of the implementation of peer tutoring as learning method in Biology Subject, and it was suggested to implement the peer tutoring in other subject Examined Nationally especially in SMA N 1 Pekalongan.

Abstract

  Abstract This research aims to determine the feasibility and the effectiveness of Fenotif Module of the imune system. This research was called a Research and Development (R & D). The result of developing modul fenotif was validated by matter expert and media expert Semarang State University Department of Biology and biology teacher in SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. Small-scale trials carried out in SMA N 1 Jakenan, Pati, who involved by 10 students, the data was retrieved from the students response to readability Fenotif Module. Large-scale trials conducted in SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen with 25 samples of students. Sample of the experiment product was taken by saturation sampling technique methods. The data was taken in a large-scale trials was the result of learning as well as the students and teachers responses. The design was a pre-experimental design with one group pretest posttest. Fenotif Module is feasible if it meets very well criteria based on the results of expert assessment and it was called effective if the learning outcomes of the students was increased to medium-high criteria in appropriate with the calculation of N-gain and the average of the students responses get very well criteria after large-scale trials. The results of this research indicated that Fenotif Module is apropriate to be used as teaching materials with percentage 95% of material and 96% of media. This module is also effectively used to achieve the acquisition of N-gain moderate to high category. The Students and the teachers responses is very well  Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas modul “fenotif” yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran biologi materi sistem pertahanan tubuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Modul Fenotif hasil pengembangan divalidasi oleh pakar materi dan pakar media Jurusan Biologi Universitas Negeri Semarang serta guru biologi di SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen. Uji skala kecil dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Jakenan, Pati dengan melibatkan 10 peserta didik, data yang diambil adalah tanggapan peserta didik terhadap keterbacaan Modul Fenotif. Uji coba skala besar dilakukan di SMA N 1 Karangsambung, Kebumen dengan sampel 25 peserta didik. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Data yang diambil dalam uji coba skala besar adalah hasil belajar serta tanggapan peserta didik dan guru.  Desain yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental designdengan bentuk one group pretest posttest. Modul Fenotif dikatakan layak apabila memenuhi kriteria sangat baik berdasarkan hasil penilaian pakar dan dikatakan efektif apabila hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dengan kriteria sedang sampai tinggi sesuai dengan perhitungan N-gain serta rata-rata tanggapan peserta didik setelah uji coba skala besar mencapai kriteria sangat baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Modul Fenotif dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dengan persentase kelayakan materi sebesar 95% dan persentase kelayakan media sebesar 96%. Modul ini juga efektif digunakan dengan perolehan N-gain mencapai kategori sedang sampai tinggi. Tanggapan peserta didik dan guru sangat baik.Â
