Abstract

  Children’s social adjustment ability depends of parenting pattern. Although many parents consider sosial adjustment is unnecessary ability to be concerned. one of the methods to optimalize children’s social adjustment is by playing. One of appropriate games to play is traditional Javanesse game. The game enables children to interact with his friend. The aim of this research is to investigate whether the traditional Javanesse game is able to improve children’s social adjustment in the age 4-5 years old. The method used in this study are experimental research which employed pretest and posttest control design. From the research it can be concluded that traditional Javanese is effective to improve children’s social adjustment on the age 4 to 5 years old. The result can be inferred from the t test of the controlled and experiment group which is 5.056 with ttabel of 2.779. There are minus point in this study caused by lack of time in conducting the research related to permission to do it because the appointed school has its own programme in learning and some subjects of the study at the experiment class did not join the treatment so that the result of this study is not completely maximum.  Children’s social adjustment ability depends of parenting pattern. Abstract

Religion education is important to be given to preschool children to recognize their own religion, the education is a mobilizator and a filter from any aspects of life. This research aims to know the process of story telling as the model of building up Islamic education for preschool children in the kindergarten in Bogares Kidul village. The method used is qualitative descriptive with observational technique, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. The result of the study shows that the story telling  method is very effective as the aim to build up Islamic education towards children.

Abstract

Social skill is a willingness to learn the standards, values??, and behavior expected for a particular culture or society. Attachment formed between children in mothers affects their social skills. Children attachment in mothers is also associated with social behavior of them later in life. Difficulty in socializing will greatly influence the children so that it will hamper them to achieve success in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between maternal attachments to the children's social skills in children aged 4-5 years. This study used correlational approach, which involved 50 children, 4-5 years old, at RA Sinar Pelangi and RA Al Iman Gunungpati district. The data was collected by using questionnaires. Based on the analysis of the regression calculation results, researcher obtained significance of 0.000 less than p = 0.05 and t = 10.363 which showed positive relationship between secure attachment in mothers with children social skills. In anxious attachment, researcher obtained significance of 0.002 less than p = 0.05 and t = -3.209 which showed negative relationship between anxious attachment in mothers with children social skills, and researcher also obtained significance of 0.000 less than p = 0.05 and t = -7.226 in rejection attachment which showed negative relationship between rejection attachment in mothers with children social skills. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between 4-5 years children attachment in mothers with their social skills in RA Sinar Pelangi and RA Al Iman Gunungpati District, Semarang. For parents, especially mothers, as the people who are closest to the child's mother is expected to provide a consistent and responsive care that secure attachment is formed so that someday may form children who has good social skills because social skills will greatly influence the children to achieve success in the future.

Abstract

Perception is a process of concluding observations obtained with the information and interpret the message through the five senses into an understanding that became the basis for the experience and knowledge. Welfare is a condi tion where a person feels safe, prosperous and can meet the needs of social life along with the appreciation of where he lived. Interest is essentially a preferred taste and sense of belonging to a thing or event, with no one telling. This research aimed to describe the relationship and influence positive and significant correlation between perceptions of early childhood teachers with an interest in the welfare of a student teacher in early childhood UNNES. The population of this research is a student of early childhood FIP 2008-2011 UNNES total 171 students. This research is descriptive quantitative. The analysis method used is descriptive percentages with simple regression analysis. The results of the analysis obtained value R of 0.729 with a significance level of 0.005 means that the welfare of teachers' perceptions with a teacher interest in early childhood education students UNNES  ties.  Perceptions welfare of  teachers  with interest of a teacher having a significant effect, with a value of 53.2% R square means to influence the perception welfare of teachers with an teacher interest of a student early childhood teachers on UNNES influenced by 53.2% and the remaining 46.8 % influenced by other factors. Based on these results it can be concluded that teachers' perceptions of well-being has a positive and significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher. Therefore, if the view of the welfare of a more early childhood teachers raised again the interest of students to become teachers will also rise. So students are advised to pay more attention to the welfare of early childhood teachers working in early childhood education where the institution is more advanced / large (urban areas) and if only their salary is much larger than the early childhood small institution (rural area). With the view that teachers welfare early childhood teachers working in early childhood are more advanced / large is the interest to be early childhood teachers on individual self  will  increase.  Because students  will  be  held  that  will  eventually become early childhood teachers then his life will prosper.

Abstract

Discipline needs to be invested since the child was a child as a way to help children to develop self- control. Educating children with discipline as the efforts of parents to guide children towards better behavior, so that children have the awareness and behave autonomously moral obedience comes from within the child. Moral values derived from the pattern of family life (father and mother) as the  ideal  model  for  imitation  and  identification  of  the  child's  behavior  and  self-identification through habituation. The purpose of this study was to: 1) determine the model of early childhood investment discipline, 2) determine differences  in perspective investment discipline to children between the mother and the father. The subjects in this study were kindergarten children aged 4-6 years,  parents  and  teachers  work  as  laborers.  Data  collection  techniques  used  observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis with data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing  and  verification.  The  results  showed  that  the  model  of  early  childhood  investment discipline on women workers in the Village District Bakrejo Sukoharjo Sukoharjo includes models authoritarian, permissive and democratic. There is a difference of view between the child's investment discipline to mothers with fathers, mothers tend to use positive discipline approach while fathers tend to use negative discipline approach. It can be concluded that the environment in which a child grows and grew up going to affect the child's development process

Abstract

Social behavior is an activites in interact with others. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of themes and partner selectedin the Cooperative Play to increase social behavior in children 5-6 years old in Sekaran, Gunungpati Semarang. The approach used is a quantitative withQuasyexperiment design, Nonequivalent control group design. The population is children 5-6 years old in Sekaran. The sample is 60 children by using cluster sampling. The technique used in the data analysis is t-test. The result of the t-test values ??treatment group were not given theme selection on social behavior is 6.426 that smaller than the value of the treatment group were given themesselection to the social behavior that 7.447. While the value of the t-test treatment group were not given the partner choice is 1,211 social behavior that smaller than the value of the treatment group were given the partner choice that 2,221 social behavior. Thestudy conclusion is there was significant influence of themes and partners selection in cooperative play against increasing of social behaviors children 5-6 years old.

Abstract

The use of Information and Communication Technology ( ICT ) in learning is very important in education, especially implemented early childhood education. Kindergarten teacher comprehension ability in the use of ICT is need for mastery of ICT strongly support the learning activities in each school . The purpose of this study to determine comprehension of Tegal and Brebes kindergarten teachers in the district and Brebes in the use of ICT, to know the implementation of the use of ICT to make learning devices carried by kindergarten teachers in Tegal regency and Brebes, and to identify barriers faced by teachers and kindergarten in Tegal Brebes in understanding and implementing the use of ICT to make learning device. The method in this research is descriptive quantitative survey approach. The population used in this study is a kindergarten teacher ( S1 ) and kindergarten institutions that already have a computer/laptop in Tegal regency and Brebes totaling 89 people from 22 institutions. The results showed that kindergarten teachers in Tegal regency and Brebes are known to have understood the use of ICT by the total percentage of 74.8 % understood categories. As for the results of the implementation of the use of ICT to make learning device with a total percentage of 75.9 % category often ( once a week ). Barriers faced by kindergarten teachers in Tegal regency and Brebes in understanding and implementing the use of ICT is the internal resistance of a teacher lies in memory and in terms of time, while the external obstacle lies in the facility computer / laptop that is still lacking. It can be concluded that the kindergarten teachers in the district comprehension of Tegal and Brebes in the use of ICT to communicate, develop themselves, to the benefit of the delivery of an educational activity has been well understood in accordance with professional and pedagogical competence. As for implementation, kindergarten teachers have to apply and utilize ICT to communicate, for the sake of organizing educational activities in accordance with good professional and pedagogical competence.Keywords : Deaf Children; Application of Language Development; Language Development

Abstract

Curriculum management is a management of curriculum to develop children's intelligence. The curriculum management of nature-based school has differences with the management of the school curriculum in general. The purpose of the study is to describe the curriculum management of nature-based early-childhood education institution Ar-Ridho and to describe the involvement of teachers, parents, school committees, and people around in the curriculum management of nature-based early-childhood education institution Ar-Ridho. The study used a qualitative approach with case study research design. The subjects of the study as the source of data were: principals, teachers, parents, school committees, and people around. Methods of collecting data were: observation, interviews, and documentation. Besides, this study used stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions as the data analysis techniques. Validity of the data was source triangulation techniques and triangulation methods. The results of the study can be summarized as follows curriculum management of nature-based early-childhood education institution Ar-Ridho includes planning to compose lesson plans of spider web, weekly, daily and children worksheets. The management, selection, and development of themes and indicators was adjusted with the school of nature. Sub-themes used directly introduce children to the subject in nature. In the learning inside or outside the class, nature as the green lab and character building for caring the environment are taught by small habituations. Evaluation of the curriculum is done once a year by the director, principals, and teachers by looking the vision and mission of the school. The involvement of teachers, parents, and school committees in the curriculum management could be seen by inviting parents in the theme changing and discussing about child development. Moreover, school committees provide both funds and personnel support during the implementation of teaching and learning process. However, the involvement of people around in the curriculum management has not been seen yet.

Abstract

Education for all began intensively conducted by the Indonesian government, one of them through inclusive education . Inclusive education needs to take place from pre- school level, it is that children with special needs receive appropriate care from an early age. Based on observations in the field, there are several kindergartens who have children with special needs in the classroom. Providing education inclusion criteria, one of which is a program of learning activities. This makes researchers interested in carrying out research on learning activity programs in kindergarten who have children with special needs in the classroom. This study aims to determine the extent of readiness of preschool inclusion class in organizing visits of program learning activities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Research informants were teachers, principals and parents kindergarten class organizers Gajahmungkur inclusion in the District of Semarang. Methods of data collection through interview,observation and documentation. The validity of research data using triangulation. Data analysis using data reduction, data display and data verification. Results showed that planning activities in the classroom with special needs children who are still at the planning of learning activities for regular kindergarten. The existence of children with special needs in the classroom becomes a special concern for teachers, but does not necessarily change the curriculum applied in the institution. Implementation of learning activities that occur in kindergarten inclusion class organizers conducted by classroom teachers to deliver innovations that are expected to stimulate children with special needs. Indirectly provide service teachers to encourage children to do activities such asfriends, but limited capabilities that can be done with special needs.

Abstract

Masa kanak-kanak merupakan masa yang paling terpeting. Pada masa ini anak perlu mendapatkan pendidikan yang baik demi kehidupannya di masa yang akan datang. Salah satu pendidikan yang diperlukan adalah pendidikan kedisiplinan. Kedisiplinan sangat penting diajarkan demi tercapainya kehidupan yang sesuai dengan norma yang ada, sehingga anak dapat membedakan perbuatan baik dan buruk sebagai makhluk sosial. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini: (1) Bagaimanakah strategi pembelajaran disiplin yang dilaksanakan pada TK di Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal, (2) Bagaimanakah ragam praktik pembelajaran disiplin pada TK di Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Strategi pembelajaran disiplin pada TK di Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal, (2) Bagaimanakah ragam praktik pembelajaran disiplin pada TK di Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Latar (setting) dari penelitian ini adalah semua Taman Kanak-Kanank yang ada di lingkungan Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini melalui tahap :(1) penetapan subyek penelitian (2) observasi (3) wawancara mendalam dan (4) penggunaan dokumen. Subyek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 22 TK. Hasil penelitian dari subyek-subyek tersebut kami menemukan beberapa strategi dan praktik-praktik pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan di TK. Adapun strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mengenalkan dan membelajarkan disiplin kepada anak dengan (1) dibentuknya peraturan, (2) membiasakan anak berperilaku disiplin (3) adanya pengamatan terhadap perubahan dan pemahaman anak tentang disiplin. Sedangkan praktik yang diperoleh yaitu (1) pembelajaran disiplin melalui pembiasaan, (2) melalui cerita, (3) melalui kegiatan makan bersama, (4) melalui ibadah dan (5) dengan pemberian contoh. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran disiplin yang digunakan pada TK di Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal, dengan membelajarkan anak untuk selalu bersikap disiplin sesuai dengan moral dan etika yang ada sesuai dengan aturan yang telah disepakati bersama; dengan adanya contoh dari guru; dengan memilih tipe atau gaya yang digunakan untuk mengajarkan disiplin kepada anak dengan disesuaikan dengan lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, saran yang dapat diberikan: (1) orang tua dan pendidik untuk dapat mengontrol segala tindakan anak , (2) orang tua dan guru agar dapat memberikan pengajaran disiplin kepada anak sejak usia dini dan dapat mengajarkannya dengan cara yang tepat untuk anak.
