Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge of dental caries and mother's behavior in preventing dental caries in children (research at PAUD Institute in Sojomerto Village). This research method is quantitative with the research approach used is cross sectional. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire or a questionnaire using a simple random sampling technique. The respondents involved were 61 mothers who have children who attend PAUD institutions in Sojomerto village. This study uses a data analysis technique in the form of Spearman's Rank to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results showed that the average value of the independent variables was 22.36 which was included in the category of moderate knowledge. While the average value of the dependent variable has a score of 108 which is in the good enough category for maternal behavior in preventing dental caries in children. Based on the data analysis test, there was a significant relationship between mother's knowledge about dental caries and mother's behavior in preventing dental caries in children (research at PAUD Institute in Sojomerto Village). The results of the Spearman Rank test show that the P value is 0.000. This means that P Value <0.005 (0.000 <0.005) which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Where Ha reads "There is a relationship between mother's knowledge about dental caries and mother's behavior in preventing dental caries in children (research at PAUD Sojomerto Village)". With a correlation coefficient value of 0.565 which means it has a moderate relationship, and also has a positive relationship direction where rcount > rtable. Suggestions, the need for mother's awareness about various information related to children's dental health, especially the problem of dental caries so that the information can be implemented directly to children. There needs to be better cooperation between parents, teachers, and health workers with regard to children.

Abstract

Flashcard my dance adventure media is one of learning media that can be used by teachers to students in order to introduce Javanese traditional dance. Introduce various Javanese traditional dances from various provinces in Java Island gave a new introduction to students about traditional dance arts in Indonesia to foster a sense of love for the arts and culture of the nation. The confusion occurred to students about Javanese traditional dance itself, both in terms of the traditional dance regional origin, costumes, and the story behind every traditional dance. This research aims to find out whether the use of flashcard my dance adventure media are able to increase the student’s recognition toward Javanese traditional dances in RA Matholibul Ulum 01. This research used quantitative approach that is experimental research that used One Group Pretest Posttest as the research design. The population is the whole students of RA Matholibul Ulum 01 as many as 30 students. The data collection technique used observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study are descriptive analysis and hypothesis test through paired sample t-Test test technique. The result of t test calculation obtained score tcount ≥ ttable as many as 28,793 > 2,045 with the significant value (2 tailed). So, Ha is accepted that there is a significant difference related to flashcard my dance adventure use to increase students’ recognition abilities toward Javanese traditional dances. There is a difference from the average pretest is 71,23 after being given posttest treatment increased become 112,87 and obtained a significant enhancement that is equal to 41,64. The N-Gain test result obtained 0,54 showed that flashcard my dance adventure media is effective to introduce Javanese traditional dances to class B students of Matholibul Ulum 01 with medium category. Abstract

Study this aim for know enhancement read start in children 5-6 years old based on application of learning media digital pop-up book at TK Mekar Sari 03 Soneyan, Margoyoso, Pati. Approach in study this use approach quantitative experiment with design Pre-experimental Design and with type One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. subject in study this is child 5-6 years old. Retrieval technique sample using saturated sampling technique with use whole population of 30 children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten Mekar Sari 03 Soneyan, District Margoyoso, Regency starch. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using statistics inferential with testing hypothesis use Paired Sample T-Test. Research results from t test calculation obtained value | t count | > t table , ie 21.60 > 2.04523, with score significance of 0.000, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning there is enhancement significant on ability read start child in a manner significant as big 33.46%. There is average difference in ability read start child 5-6 years old before and after given treatment. N-gain test results obtained value 0.60, so show that application of learning media inner digital pop-up book increase ability read start child is on the criteria medium. this show that learning media digital pop-up book can used in increase ability read start child.

Abstract

Inculcation of qualitative values in the children is the duties of both the home and the school. The process is expected to start from home by the parents before the school takes over. The school is to complement the home in teaching important societal qualities to produce a holistic child. To this end, this study examined important valuable qualities to be possessed by the children from the viewpoint of parents. Adopting data collected from 1237 Nigerian participants in the World Value Survey Wave 7, eleven important qualities were considered with differences determined along demographic delineation of location, highest educational qualification, marital status, religion, and ethnicity. Findings showed that the value of good manners was of foremost importance, followed by hard work and religious faith. Thrift/saving money and things was the least important value. It was revealed amongst others that location significantly affected the feeling of responsibility, imagination, religious faith, and obedience. Also, significant differences were found in good manners, hard work, religious faith by religious beliefs. Similarly, level of literacy significantly affected good manners, hard work, and unselfishness. Findings of this study have substantial implications for parenting since parents have momentous roles to play in important child qualities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the digital comic "Si Jali Anak Kota" as a learning medium to increase the independence of children aged 5-6 years at Cahaya Kindergarten in Sumberjosari Village, Karangrayung District, Grobogan Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative experiment with one group pretest posttest design. The study population consisted of 32 children aged 5-6 years at Cahaya Kindergarten in Sumberjosari Village, Karangrayung District, Grobogan Regency. This study uses a total sampling technique in which the entire population is used as a sample. Research data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses inferential statistics by testing the hypothesis using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the research from the calculation of the t test obtained the value of |tcount| > ttable, namely 5.409 > 2.03452, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, then Ho is declared rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the results of these calculations, the child's independence has increased by 16.84% from before the treatment using digital comic media "Si Jali Anak Kota". Calculation of the N-gain test obtained a result of 0.23 which strengthens that the effectiveness of digital comic media "Si Jali Anak Kota" can increase children's independence. These results indicate a change in the form of increasing the independence of children aged 5-6 years after being treated using digital comic media "Si Jali Anak Kota".

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas Buku Seri Literasi Keuangan Tingkat PAUD dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan finansial keuangan pada anak usia dini di TK Islam Bustanul Athfal Desa Sikanco. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Islam Bustanul Athfal Desa Sikanco Kecamatan Nusawungu Kabupaten Cilacap, Jawa Tengah dengan jumlah responden dalam penelitian sebanyak 30 peserta didik dalam usia 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat, uji paired sampel t-test dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Buku Seri Literasi Keuangan Tingkat PAUD efektif dalam meningkatkan Pengetahuan Finansial Keuangan anak. Dilihat dari hasil uji analisis data uji paired sampel t-test menunjukan hasil signifikansi 0,00, dimana hasil tersebut ˂ 0,05 yang berarti menunjukan adanya efektifitas. Sedangkan berdasarkan nilai pretest dan nilai posttest pada hasil uji n-gain penelitian ini menunjukan angka 0,59 yang artinya treatment penelitian ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan finansial anak dalam kategori sedang. Nilai rerata pada hasil pretest sebesar 48,97 sedangkan hasil nilai posttest penelitian mengalami peningkatan menjadi 70,27. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Buku Seri Literasi Keuangan Tingkat PAUD efektif dalam peningkatan pengetahuan finansial anak di TK Islam Bustanul Athfal Desa Sikanco Kecamatan Nusawungu.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini beresiko terpapar intoleransi dan radikalisme. Toleransi merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah terjadinya intoleransi dan radikalisme. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan bacaan untuk anak usia dini berbentuk buku cerita bergambar yang bermuatan toleransi dan pencegahan radikalisme yang dapat digunakan guru dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan mengadaptasi model Borg and Gall lima tahap, yaitu (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, dan (5) revisi produk. Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru TK yang tersebar di provinsi Jawa Tengah. Teknik sampel mengacu pada cluster random sampling karena penelitian ini di lakukan di daerah yang luas. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari dua jenis, yaitu angket kebutuhan guru dengan Google Form dan uji validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil analisis kebutuhan guru menunjukkan bahwa, guru memerlukan bahan bacaan bermuatan toleransi dan pencegahan radikalisme bagi pendidikan anak usia dini. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, cerita 1 mendapatkan 90,9% (sangat layak), cerita 2 mendapatkan 88,6% (sangat layak), dan cerita 3 mendapatkan 88,6% (sangat layak). Sedangkan penilaian ahli media, cerita 1 mendapatkan 89,5% (sangat layak), cerita 2 mendapatkan 89,5% (sangat layak), dan cerita 3 mendapatkan 87,5% (sangat layak).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melihat tingkat kepekaan tinggi yang diterima anak. Kepribadian dan karakter seorang anak disuplai oleh tingkat pendidikan anak usia dini. Perkembangan motorik halus dangat dibutuhkan dalam menunjang kreativitas dan mental anak. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang berhubungan dalam perkembangan motorik halus pada anak usia dini. Salah satu teknik yang dapat digunakan dalam mengembangkan motorik halus anak yaitu menggambar bebas dengan teknik dusel. Hal ini dikarenakan otot-otot kecil pada anak digunakan dengan maksimal. Namun dilapangan teknik menggambar bebas dengan dusel belum dilaksanakan dalam sekolah. Untuk pengembangan seni, mereka hanya diminta untuk mewarnai gambar di majalah. Maka hal ini menjadikan peneliti memilih teknik tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui kegiatan menggambar bebas dengan teknik dusel. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan peneliti memberikan arahan kepada guru kelas dalam pelaksanaan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan motoric halus pada anak melalui kegiatan menggambar bebas dengan teknik dusel.

This study uses a quantitative approach, namely the type of experimental research with a one group pretest posttest design. The study population consisted of 30 children aged 5-6 years in Mekarsari Kindergarten. The sampling technique used the total sampling technique with all members of the population being sampled, namely children aged 5-6 years in Mekarsari Kindergarten with a total of 30 children. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses inferential statistics by testing the hypothesis using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of the research from the calculation of the t test obtained the value of tcount| > ttable, namely 26.543 > 2.04523, with a significance value of 0.000, so ?? is rejected and ?? is accepted, meaning that there is a significant increase in children's story telling ability of 35.27%. There is an average difference in the ability to tell stories before and after being given treatment. The N-gain test results obtained 0.58, thus indicating that the effectiveness of fable fairy tale animation video media to improve children's storytelling abilities is at the moderate level criteria as evidenced by the N-gain value can be obtained an average of 0.3 ≤ 0.58 ≤ 0 This shows that fable fable animation video media is effective in improving children's storytelling skills. Suggestions put forward in this study: (1) can make maximum use of fable fairy tale animation video media, (2) further researchers can develop fable fairy tale animation video media for other aspects.
