Abstract

Breakfast very important for children. Breakfast with the good menu can optime the brain’s work so that children wiil have well concentrate. This should be supported by physical condition and adequacy of energy. It is appropiate with the purposes of this study to determine differences level of learning concentration of elementary school students (first year of elementary school) seen from the habit of breakfast. This study uses quantitative research methods with study comparative research design. The research data retrieval using questionnaires completed by parents and students. This study population are 388 students, while the sample of this study are 162 students. The results showed that there are learning concentration level differences of children having breakfast and not. Based on the test of normality that has been done, it can be seen from the significant probability value that all normal variables as worth more than 5 % or 0.05. Breakfast habits variabel of first year Elementary School have significance 0.067 greater than 0.05. Whereas variable of learning concentration level of students has a significance value 0.20, which means greater than 0.05. While the results of homogeneity test showed significanace value 0.288. Results of analysis hypotheses using t-test to see the comparation between children learning concentration having breakfast and not showed significance valeu 0,297 > @ (0,05) so Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in learning concentration levels between children having breakfast and not. It is recommended for students, parents, teachers and the general public in order to raise awareness of the importance of children having breakfast and its influences in the learning process can also indirectly affect student achievement.

Abstract

Naturalist intelligence is an ability that is associated with the knowledge to care,preserve and prevent environmental issues. The low of children’s awareness in the naturalist environment, as shown by the presence of a child who complained pet, pick flowers or damage the plant and has not been able to maintain their hygiene, themselves and the surrounding environment. Environmental Learning is a way to educate children through naturalist setup to create fun learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the environmental impact study or not on naturalist children aged 5-6 years. This research uses experimental quantitative research that is included true-Experimental Designs with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sampling was Purposive Random Sampling which states that the sampling is done at random. The test of t paired between pretest and posttest in experimental group produces the Sig 0,00 < 0.05 which means that there are significant differences between the controlgroup and the experimental group. Based on the value of 7,989> 1.714 indicates thatthere is a difference between the paired and pretest of the experimental group. The calculation results of t paired test between the pretest and posttest of experimental andcontrol groups indicates that there is significant difference because it has the Sig 0,00 <0.05 which means that there are significant differences between the control and experimental group. Based on the value of t count 4.437 > t table value, so that the 1,714 t count > t table, indicating that there is a difference between the results of the posttest of control group and the posttest of experimental group.Based on these results, the writer concludes that there are differences in the level of child naturalist intelligence in the experimental group before and after given environmental learning. Then it can be concluded that environmental learning gives effect in improving children's naturalist intelligence and gives advice that the environmental learning can be developed as one way to improve children's naturalist intelligence.

Abstract

Learning process is closely related to interaction among the teacher, the students, and the source of the learning itself. The source of learning is frequently used by the teacher to support the learning activity. Introduction of basic mathematics concept should be given from an early age. One of the way to develop basic mathematics to children is by learning process at school. Learning process which is held in communities is the effective way to introduce basic mathematics concept. According to Sudjana and Rivai (Prastowo, 2012:2), source of learning is the energy that can be used to give simplicity to someone in his or her learning.The aim of this research is to know the usage of cardboard waste as the learning source in developing basic concept of mathematics. This research is kind of an experiment pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling process uses simple random sampling technic, as the samples are Taman Indria kindergarten as the experiment group and PGRI 02 Mlatiharjo 1 kindergarten as the control group. The t paired test between pretest and posttest in experiment group has obtained significant score (2-tailed) < 0,05 is that 0,000 that means there is a significant difference , however the t paired test between pretest and posttest in control group has obtained significant score (2-tailed) < 0,05 is that 0,018 that means there is no significant enhancement. The result test of t paired posttest in control and experiment group is that there are significant difference because it has significant score (2-tailed) < 0,05 is that 0,000 that means there is significant difference There is a distinction in basic concept of mathematics in children of experiment group before and after they are given the cardboard waste as the learning source. It is known that there is a difference comprehension of basic concept of mathematics between the children of experiment and control group after the treatment. Therefore, cardboard waste as the learning source is effective to develop basic concept of mathematics in 5-6 years old children. School as the education facilities should give another learning source or another literature to develop the basic concept of mathematics in order to children can get better basic concept of mathematics and they will have good understanding in it.

But in fact the field, which is not too much attention to early childhood diversity that exists, especially in terms of multireligious. Many educators or teachers in learning, teaching leveler way to develop children's moral and religious. Clarista Kudus early childhood is one of the non-formal schools have multicultural school environment. In the process of learning, it have specific strategies and programs developed to teach moral values and religion of the child who has a multireligious within the scope of multicultural education. The purpose of the reseach describe the moral values and religion are taught, applied the concept of multicultural education, moral and religious learning strategies children through multicultural education in Clarista early childhood and constraints. This reseach used a qualitative case studies approach. Researchers used a observation method, interview, and documentation in collecting the data. Then to analyze the data in this reseach researchers used reduction data, display data, conclusion and verification. From the research, the researchers found that the moral values and religion in early childhood applied in there is basic faith, worship, love to Almighty God and loving God's creatures and tolerance, mutual respect, empathy, forgiveness, honesty, discipline, responsibility, self-contained. The concept of multicultural education is applied is organizing a national based education through habituation and play of process interaction while learning creative by teaching children about the beauty of the difference for child to respect and loving differences or multicultural that exist in the surrounding environment that early enrollment nationally, accept children and multicultural environment (religious, ethnic, and cultural), provide religion learning facilities in accordance beliefs or the religious that are believed to child , and held a celebration of religious. Religious learning strategy used is the classical approach to learning according to the religion class each child through habituation and training strategies, learning strategies, strategies playing, exemplary strategies with learning methods lecture, question and answer, exemplary, sociodramas, as well as the method of travel works. These strategies are poured into all aspects of learning activities.There are two obstacles in the implementation of the strategy, the internal resistance of the attitude of children who are still unstable, easily bored, and external barriers that inadequate media and school management in terms of making plan learning activities that are less good.

Abstract

Minimum 0-6 years of golden age at the same time is critical in the life cycle, which will determine the next child development, this period was the right time to put the foundations of the development of physical abilities, language, social-emotional, self-concept, morals, and values religion. The role of teachers and parents determine the child's subsequent behavior. The purpose of this study (1) To know how the teacher’s role and the participation of parents in instilling Islamic values in children 5-6 years old in early childhood in PAUD Sekar Nagari UNNES in a family environment, (2) To know the factors driving and inhibiting teachers in instilling religious values Islam in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Nagari UNNES Sekar, (3) To know the factors of driving and inhibiting the parents in instilling Islamic values in children 5-6 years old in a family environment. The method of this research was qualitative descriptive approach is housed in PAUD Sekar Nagari UNNES. Sources of research data is teachers and parents also the documents that used as RKM and RKH. The methods of data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the research showed that the teacher's role in instilling Islamic values in early childhood education teaching Sekar Nagari about faith , morality , worship , and the qiroatul Qur’an was good . Meanwhile , the participation of parents in instilling Islamic values in the family environment on the education of worship , reading the Qur'an , good moral , and faith did well good . The driving factor in instilling Islamic values in early childhood Sekar Nagari is the motivation of parents and the child's motivation , while inhibiting factor is the lack of existing infrastructure and the level of activity of parents . The driving factor in instilling Islamic values in society is parental support , school support , and community support , while inhibiting factor is the family environment , school environment , and the environmental community.

Abstract

Semua anak membutuhkan kesempatan untuk belajar pada potensi tertinggi mereka padalingkungan yang mencakup semua. Bahasa merupakan faktor penting dalam berkomunikasi,mempelajari ilmu pengetahuan dan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Namun, tidak setiap anakdapat menguasai kemampuan berbahasa dengan mudah. Hal tersebut dikarenakan oleh faktorbawaan, misalnya pada anak-anak tuna rungu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Tempat penelitian berada di SLB Negeri Semarangdengan informan yaitu guru yang mengajar dengan MMR untuk anak tunarungu di kelaspersiapan. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi sertadokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan trianggulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SLB Negeri Semarang adalah Sekolah LuarBiasa yangdirintis mulai tahun 2004. Penerapan MMR di SLB Negeri Semarang sudah terlaksana denganbaik. MMR dilaksanakan dengan tiga tahap yang terdapat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasisehingga hasil atau target yang dicapai sesuai dengan tujuan yang akan telah dimaksudkan. Haltersebut sudah memenuhi pedoman dalam pelaksanaan MMR yang sebenarnya.Hasil penelitian tersebut menemukan fakta bahwa pemerintah belum membuat kurikulum atauketetapan yang jelas terhadap pembelajaran bagi anak tunarungu. Penulis menyarankan supayapemerintah dapat menetapkan kurikulum dan patokan yang jelas bagi anak tunarungu denganmenggunakan Metode Mathernal Reflektif (MMR). Dengan demikian penerapan MetodeMathernal Reflektif (MMR) dapat mencapai hasil yang diinginkan dan dapat meningkatkankemampuan anak

Abstract

Dicipline is one of the to remedy a mistaken behaviour. Dicipline does encourge guide, and help children togain a feeling of contenment through loyality obdience, and educate children to think on a regular basis.Hurlock states that in childhood stage, appreciation has its own instructive value. Everytime children showtheir submission, a reward or token economy which can be collected and later be exchanged with sometningvaluable. The aim of this study is to find out wheter or not this token economy is effective in increasing childrendicipline. This research is a quasi experiment nonequivalent control group design. The sampling techniquewhich is conducted is nonprobability sampling, although kind of sample that use in this experimen is purposivesampling. The t-paired  posttest of experimented and controled group resulting some proof that show significantdifferences because it has < 0,05 significant value (2-tailed), wich is 0,00 meaning that there are significantdifferences. Based on t-count was 9,470 > was the 2,065 showed that there was diferrence result posttestexperiment group and control group, which experiment group produces value of posttest higher than controlgroup

Abstract

BKB is a media service that has different types of activities, namely extension and playing with tools EduaktifGames. This effort aims to increase knowledge and awareness of mothers and other family members about theimportance of the process of growth and development of infants and to improve the skills of mothers and otherfamily members in obtaining the optimal development of the child, including mental stimulus usingeducational games.The purpose of this study was to determine the model parenting BKB Melati 3 in the Village District NgukenPadangan Bojonegoro, to determine the extent of the application of the parenting BKB Melati 3 on peasantfamily in the village district Nguken Padangan Bojonegoro.The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative, using interviews and observations as well asdocumentation of the image field. Subjects used for research investigators totaled nine parents and 9 children. The results of this study are parenting counseling BKB from the aspects of child development child developmentlate because if the parents did wrong in parenting. By looking at the child development BKB cadres can takeaction to explain the correct way of parenting by looking at the child's development. Parents are not parentingpractice with maximum economic reasons families so that children are nurtured and trained rare fordevelopment. Many parents assume that children will grow by it self because it has been trained in the BKBwithout havingto be trained at home.Conclusions from the study the researchers did was care Nguken peasant family in the village can not do asmuch as possible because of busy work and more parents use the permissive parenting. BKB better parentingpractices lead to the development of children because of the knowledge of child development then can be wellcared for by the child's parents or not. The authors suggested that the - those involved in caregiving to establishgood communication between parents and volunteers BKB.

Abstract

Partisipasi masyarakat umumnya dipandang sebagai suatu bentuk perilaku kesehatan adalah partisipasi ibu balita dalam program posyandu. Posyandu merupakan bentuk layanan terpadu yang diselenggarakan untuk dan oleh masyarakat dengan program-program kerja dari instansi terkait untuk kemudian memperoleh layanan kesehatan dasar, penurunan angka kematiaan ibu dan anak dan untuk pencapaian Keluarga Kecil Bahagia Sejahtera (KKBS). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui layanan posyandu di Desa Mergowati, mengetahui partisipasi masyarakat peserta posyandu di Desa Mergowati. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Informan penelitian adalah   ibu-ibu balita di Posyandu Desa Mergowati, kader dan bidan Desa Mergowati.   Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan tringulasi sumber, teknik, waktu, analisis data dengan mereduksi data dan kemudian disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian partisipasi masyarakat peserta posyandu di Desa Mergowati sudah baik terbukti sudah banyak warga khususnya ibu balita yang dalam kegiatan posyandu. Warga sudah mulai sadar dengan pentingnya menimbangkan balita ke posyandu untuk pemantauan pertumbuhan dan kesehatan balita selain itu warga juga sudah mulai sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kebersihan rumah dan lingkungan. layanan posyandu di Desa Mergowati sudah baik dengan srata posyandu mandiri. Kegiatan posyandu sudah rutin dilaksanakan setiap bulannya, kegiatan 5 meja terlaksana dengan berkesinambungan. Kinerja kader dan bidan yang bertugas di posyandu sudah dapat menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik dan dapat bekerjasama dengan baik.Community participation is generally seen as a form of health behavior is participation in the program posyandu toddler's mother. IHC is a form of integrated services organized for and by the community with the work programs of relevant agencies to then obtain basic health services, reduction of maternal and child kematiaan and for the achievement of Small Family Happy Prosperous (KKBS). The purpose of this study to determine the service posyandu Mergowati village, knowing participation in village Mergowati posyandu participants.  This study uses qualitative research methods. The informants were mothers of children under five in IHC Mergowati village cadres and village midwives Mergowati. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of research data using tringulasi source, technique, time, analysis of the data by reducing the data and then summed. The results of the study participants posyandu community participation in village Mergowati already well proven already many people especially in the toddler's mother posyandu activities. Residents have started to realize the importance of a toddler weigh posyandu for monitoring the growth and health of infants in addition to the residents have also begun to realize the importance of keeping the house and the environment. Mergowati posyandu services in the village has been good with posyandu srata independently. Routine growth monitoring sessions have been held every month, the activities carried out with continuous table 5. Performance of cadres and midwives posyandu already can carry out their duties well and can work well together.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kesadaran wanita untuk mengembangkan diri dalam bidang pekerjaan mengakibatkan berkurangnya perhatian wanita sebagai ibu terhadap anak yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kemandirian anak. Kenyataan pada era sekarang, anak yang diasuh oleh ibu rumah tangga cenderung lebih manja dari pada anak yang diasuh oleh ibu yang bekerja di luar rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini ditinjau dari status kerja ibu. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini antara anak yang diasuh oleh ibu rumah tangga dan ibu yang bekerja paruh waktu di luar rumah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian anak usia 4-6 tahun yang diasuh oleh ibu rumah tangga dan ibu yang bekerja paruh waktu di luar rumah di Kecamatan Reban Kabupaten Batang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala Kemandirian Anak Usia Dini, sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode Independent Sample t-Test. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, diperoleh nilai mean sebesar 82,10 untuk ibu rumah tangga dan 95,04 untuk ibu yang bekerja paruh waktu di luar rumah. Perhitungan Independent Sample t-Test diperoleh t hitung > t tabel (11,168 > 1,666) dan p value (0,000 < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini ditinjau dari status kerja ibu di Kecamatan Reban Kabupaten Batang.The rise of women’s awareness for self-development in their employment causes the decrease of women’s attention as a mother towards the children which can influence the children’s independence. Nowadays, the children raised by housewives tend to be more spoiled than the children raised by working mothers. This study aims to determine the level of early childhood independence in terms of mothers’ employment. The hypothesis mentions that there are differences in early childhood independence between the children of housewives and the children of part-time working mothers. This study is quantitative research and the subjects are the children of 4-6 years old raised by either housewives or part-time working mother in Reban subdistrict Batang regency. The techniques of gathering data uses early childhood independence scale, meanwhile the data analysis applies Independent Sample t-Test method. The statistics results in the mean of 82.10 for housewife and 95.04 for working mother. The Independent Sample t-Test shows t count > t table (11.168 > 1.666) and p values (0.000< 0.05). Accordingly, H0 is refused. In conclusion, there are significant differences in early childhood independence in terms of mothers’ employment in Reban Subdistrict Batang regency.
