Abstract

Breakfast very important for children. Breakfast with the good menu can optime the brain’s work so that children wiil have well concentrate. This should be supported by physical condition and adequacy of energy. It is appropiate with the purposes of this study to determine differences level of learning concentration of elementary school students (first year of elementary school) seen from the habit of breakfast. This study uses quantitative research methods with study comparative research design. The research data retrieval using questionnaires completed by parents and students. This study population are 388 students, while the sample of this study are 162 students. The results showed that there are learning concentration level differences of children having breakfast and not. Based on the test of normality that has been done, it can be seen from the significant probability value that all normal variables as worth more than 5 % or 0.05. Breakfast habits variabel of first year Elementary School have significance 0.067 greater than 0.05. Whereas variable of learning concentration level of students has a significance value 0.20, which means greater than 0.05. While the results of homogeneity test showed significanace value 0.288. Results of analysis hypotheses using t-test to see the comparation between children learning concentration having breakfast and not showed significance valeu 0,297 > @ (0,05) so Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in learning concentration levels between children having breakfast and not. It is recommended for students, parents, teachers and the general public in order to raise awareness of the importance of children having breakfast and its influences in the learning process can also indirectly affect student achievement.

Abstract

Keterampilan sosial anak kelompok A TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal kurang maksimal, berdasarkan pengamatan tersebut peneliti menemukan ide, gagasan atau rencana untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan permainan tradisional cublak-cublak suweng di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 dalam pengembangan keterampilan sosial anak. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yang pertama adalah Apakah permainan tradisional cublak-cublak suweng dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 ?. Tujuan penelitian adalah Untuk mengetahui bahwa permainan tradisional cublak-cublak suweng dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan untuk mengetahui bahwa permainan tradisional cublak-cublak suweng dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 Banyumanik Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, tiap siklus terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengambilan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Indikator keberhasilan adalah sebagai berikut ; meningkatnya keterampilan sosial  anak lebih dari 76%. Dari analisis data penelitian siklus I diperoleh hasil kemampuan keterampilan sosial anak melalui permainan culak-cublak suweng adalah 43% dengan kategori kurang. Kemudian dilanjutkan perbaikan ke siklus II dan hasil penelitian meningkat menjadi 68% dengan kategori cukup. Untuk lebih memaksimalkan keterampilan sosial anak melalui permainan cublak-cublak suweng, peneliti melanjutkan perbaikan ke siklus III dengan penigkatan baik menjadi 85%. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa dengan bermain cublak-cublak suweng di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian dapat disarankan untuk menggunakan permainan tradisional cublak-cublak suweng dalam memberikan pembelajaran terutama untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial anak usia dini.Social skills of children in group A kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal less than the maximum, based on these observations researchers found an idea, an idea or plan to conduct classroom action research using traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 in the development of social skills of children. Athfal action research was conducted to determine that the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng can improve social skills in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 Banyumanik Semarang. The method used in this research is classroom action research method. The research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Quantitative and qualitative data retrieval. Indicators of success are as follows; increasing the social skills of children of more than 76%. From the analysis of research data obtained by the results of the first cycle of the ability of the child's social skills through games culak-Cublak Suweng is 43% with less category. Then proceed to the second cycle and the improvement of research results increased to 68% with sufficient category. To further maximize the child's social skills through games Cublak-Cublak Suweng, researchers continued improvement to the third cycle with good penigkatan to 85%. Based on the results of the study, researchers concluded that by playing Cublak-Cublak Suweng in kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 44 can improve social skills. Based on the results of this study are advised to use the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng in delivering learning, especially to improve the social skills of early childhood.

Abstract

Kemampuan, kerja keras, dan kreativitas merupakan beberapa faktor yang dibutuhkan untuk mendorong terwujudnya hasil pengembangan kurikulum yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kompetensi pedagogik guru TK dalam mengembangkan kurikulum PAUD dan perbedaannya berdasarkan tingkat pendidikan guru. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian adalah Taman Kanak-kanak baik formal/informal yang berada di Kecamatan Margoyoso Kabupaten Pati dengan sampel yang berjumlah 105 pendidik. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Porpotionate Stratified Random Sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil analisis deskriptif  menunjukan sebagian besar pendidik memiliki kompetensi dalam mengembangkan kurikulum yang tergolong sedang, yaitu 65 orang (61,9 %) berada dalam kategori sedang dan 40 orang (38,1%) berada dalam kategori tinggi. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kompetensi pendidik TK lulusan S1/D4 dengan SMA (p=0.000) dan pendidik TK lulusan D1/D2/D3 dengan SMA (p=0.000), sedangkan kompetensi pendidik TK lulusan S1/D4 dengan D1/D2/D3 tidak memiliki perbedaan yang jauh (p=0,928). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru TK dalam mengembangkan kurikulum PAUD di kecamatan Margoyoso berada di kategori sedang (61,9%) dan guru yang telah menempuh pendidikan akademik memiliki kompetensi yang lebih baik dari guru yang belum pernah menempuh pendidikan.There are some factors like ability; work hard and creativity that we need to encourage in finding the good result of curriculum development. This research study problem is pedagogy competence mapping of kindergarten teacher in developing curriculum of Pre-School and the difference of teacher competence in developing curriculum that based on education level of the teacher. The research method is descriptive quantitative method. Location of the research is kindergartens either formally or informally in Margoyoso, Pati district. I took 105 (a hundred and five) teachers as the sample of my research. Then, technique of choosing sample is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The last, the instrument of collecting data is questioner and interview method. The results of descriptive analysis showed that much of the teachers have competence in developing curriculum that include in moderate, that are 65 people (61,9 %) is in moderate category and 40 people (38,1 %) is in high category. There are significant differences on competence of kindergarten teacher between teacher that graduated S1/D4 and teacher graduated senior high school (p=0.000) and teacher that graduated D1/D2/D3 with senior high school (p=0.000), whereas the competence of kindergarten teacher that is graduated S1/D4 with D1/D2/D3 does not have significant differences (p=0,928). Based on the finding of this research, I can conclude that the competence of kindergarten teacher in developing curriculum of Pre-School in Margoyoso, Pati district is in moderate category (61,9 %) and the teacher who got academic education has better competence than teacher who never got academic education.

Abstract

Manajemen kelas merupakan bagian dari manajemen Sekolah, melalui kegiatan manajemen kelas diketahui bagaimana cara guru dalam mengelola lingkup kecil yang berbentuk kelas. Manajemen kelas merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam mengelola setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan didalam kelas. Pelaksanaan dalam manajemen kelas tunanetra berbeda dengan kelas TK pada umumnya. Oleh karena itu, peneliti fokus pada manajemen kelas pada kelas tunanetra. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen kelas pada  kelas tunanetra di TKLB Negeri Semarang Kota Semarang dan mendeskripsikan faktor yang menghambat dan mendukung dalam manajemen kelas pada kelas tunanetra di TKLB Negeri Semarang Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Subjek yang menjadi sumber data adalah guru kelas, guru olahraga dan guru agama. Model analisis kualitatif yang digunakan yaitu Miles dengan Huberman. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu : wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut manajemen kelas pada kelas tunanetra di TKLB Negeri Semarang meliputi kegiatan penataan kelas, dalam penataan kelas menggunakan model berhadap-hadapan. Dalam tata usaha kelas guru tidak melakukan kegiatan pencatatan kegiatan yang ada di dalam kelas. Perencanaan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan buku ajar. Kegiatan pelaksanaan  menggunakan metode pemberian tugas dan evaluasi dalam buku rapor nilai berbentuk deskripsi dan angka. Dalam setiap kegiatan di dalam kelas dibutuhkan pendisiplinan yang dilakukan oleh guru. Namun dalam pelaksanaan masih adanya hambatan kemampuan anak dan anak yang memiliki tunaganda.Classroom management is a part of school management. Through the class management activity, it could be known how a teacher manage a small scope, a class. This management is done by the teacher in order to manage the class. The implementation of class management in visually impaired class is different with another kindergardens in the general. So that, class management in visually impaired class is focused.The objective of a research is to describe the class management, and the obstruction and supporting factors in this management in visually impaired class at TKLB Semarang Kota Semarang. A qualitative design with a case study is used in the research. A classroom teacher, an exercise teacher, and a religion teacher are subject of the data resource in this research. Miles is used to analyze a qualitative design by using Huberman method. A technique obtaining the data is interview, observation, documentation and field record. An obtaining data, a reducing data, presenting the data and drawing in the data are used as a technique in analyzing data. A legality techniquein this research is a resource triangulation data, a triangulation method, and a triangulation theory. From the conducted research, it can be concluded that the classroom management in visually impaired class at TKLB Negeri Semarang includes an activity of ordering class, facing in certain direction is used in ordering the class. When the class begins, the teacher doesn’t allow to taking a note what going on in the class is. A handbook is used in planning the learning activity. An implementation of the activity utilises a method of assignment given and an evaluation method in the school report card in the form of description and numeral. In each class activity is needed a teacher disciplinary. However,there are some obstructions in the implementation of class management, they are in the students’ ability and the students who have mentally handicaped.

Abstract

Mathematic is important ability to be taught by teacher to kindergarten children so that they have skill in solving simple problems in modern technology. Introduction of basic mathematics concept should be given from an five to six age. Stick box portable game is One of the way to develop basic mathematics to children. The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of the Stick box portable game as the introduction of the concept basic mathematics from an five to six age children in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal kindergarten. This research uses experimental methods of Posttest Only Control Design. Using a Purposive random sampling. Elected to the Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten 3 Sarirejo  (experimentation) and Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten 6 Kutoharjo (control). Based on t-test data Independent t-test results data control group and experimental group was significant because it has the value t calculate=-5,511 with Sig (2-tailed) 0.00<0.05. Introduction of basic mathematics concept mean in children there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups.

Abstract

Curriculum management is a management of curriculum to develop childrens intelligence. The curriculum management of nature-based school has differences with the management of the school curriculum in general. The purpose of the study is to describe the curriculum management of nature-based early-childhood education institution Ar-Ridho and to describe the involvement of teachers, parents, school committees, and people around in the curriculum management of nature-based early-childhood education institution Ar-Ridho. The study used a qualitative approach with case study research design. The subjects of the study as the source of data were: principals, teachers, parents, school committees, and people around. Methods of collecting data were: observation, interviews, and documentation. Besides, this study used stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions as the data analysis techniques. Validity of the data was source triangulation techniques and triangulation methods. The results of the study can be summarized as follows curriculum management of nature-based early-childhood education institution Ar-Ridho includes planning to compose lesson plans of spider web, weekly, daily and children worksheets. The management, selection, and development of themes and indicators was adjusted with the school of nature. Sub-themes used directly introduce children to the subject in nature. In the learning inside or outside the class, nature as the green lab and character building for caring the environment are taught by small habituations. Evaluation of the curriculum is done once a year by the director, principals, and teachers by looking the vision and mission of the school. The involvement of teachers, parents, and school committees in the curriculum management could be seen by inviting parents in the theme changing and discussing about child development. Moreover, school committees provide both funds and personnel support during the implementation of teaching and learning process. However, the involvement of people around in the curriculum management has not been seen yet.

Abstract

Bermain pada anak usia 5-6 tahun penting untuk perkembangan anak. Bermain sebagai sarana untuk mengenalkan anak pada hal baru khususnya huruf dan kata dengan menggunakan kartu kata untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis awal. Selain itu, kartu kata dapat mengasah kemampuan membaca anak, mengasah daya ingat, mengenal warna-warna, menambah perbendaharaan kosakata. Kartu kata merupakan media sederhana yang dimainkan dengan mengenalkan simbol huruf pada anak terlebih dahulu kemudian anak diminta untuk menunjukkan atau menuliskan huruf yang sesuai dengan huruf yang diucapkan peneliti, setelah mengenal huruf anak diminta untuk menuliskan kata. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan menulis awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun setelah diberi perlakuan menggunakan kartu kata. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun setelah diberi perlakuan menggunakan kartu kata. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster sampling, terambil sampel yaitu, TK Pertiwi 23 kelompok TK B sebanyak 30 anak dan TK Pertiwi 31 kelompok TK B sebanyak 30 anak. Hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan pada kemampuan menulis awal anak, terlihat dari hasil skor posttest tertinggi pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 61 dan skor terendah 53 lebih baik dari skor tertinggi posttest kelompok kontrol sebesar 56 dan skor terendah 49 serta nilai sign.(2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 yang menandakan H1 diterima sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam bermain kotak kartu kata pada kemampuan menulis awal yang dilihat dari adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara perolehan skor tes pada kelompok eksperimen dengan perolehan skor tes pada kelompok kontrol. Hal tersebut menjelaskan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menulis awal setelah diberikan perlakuan pada anak. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kartu kata memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan menulis awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan kartu kata. Guru disarankan untuk menggunakan kartu kata dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.Playing in children aged 5-6 years is important for child development. Playing as a means to introduce children to new things, especially letters and words using the word cards to improve writing skills early. Moreover, word cards can hone reading skills of children, sharpening memory, getting to know the colors, adding vocabulary vocabulary. Media card is a simple word that is played with the introduction of the letter symbols on the child first and then the children were asked to show or write letters that correspond to the letters spoken researchers, recognize letters after the child was asked to write the word. The problems of this research is how the early writing skill improvement in children aged 5-6 years after being treated using the word cards. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in early writing skills in children aged 5-6 years after being treated using the word cards. The study population was all kindergartens in villages Plalangan, Gunungpati that writing skills are still lacking.Sampling using cluster sampling, the sample is drawn, TK TK Pertiwi 23 group B as many as 30 children and TK TK Pertiwi 31 group B as many as 30 children. The results of the study there is an increase in childrens early writing skills, and results from the posttest scores highest in the experimental group was 61 and the lowest score of 53 is better than the highest score posttest control group was 56 and the lowest score of 49 and the value of sign. (2-tailed) = 0.000 <0.05, which indicates H 1 is accepted that there is a significant influence in the playing card box says at the beginning writing skills as seen from the absence of a significant difference between the acquisition of test scores in the experimental group with the acquisition of test scores in the control group. It is clear that an increase in the ability to write given early after treatment in children. Based on the above description, it can be concluded that the word cards provide a significant improvement in the ability to write early in children aged 5-6 years after treatment with a given word cards. Teachers are advised to use the word cards in improving writing skills early in children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Meningkatnya kesadaran wanita untuk mengembangkan diri dalam bidang pekerjaan mengakibatkan berkurangnya perhatian wanita sebagai ibu terhadap anak yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kemandirian anak. Kenyataan pada era sekarang, anak yang diasuh oleh ibu rumah tangga cenderung lebih manja dari pada anak yang diasuh oleh ibu yang bekerja di luar rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini ditinjau dari status kerja ibu. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini antara anak yang diasuh oleh ibu rumah tangga dan ibu yang bekerja paruh waktu di luar rumah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian anak usia 4-6 tahun yang diasuh oleh ibu rumah tangga dan ibu yang bekerja paruh waktu di luar rumah di Kecamatan Reban Kabupaten Batang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala Kemandirian Anak Usia Dini, sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode Independent Sample t-Test. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik, diperoleh nilai mean sebesar 82,10 untuk ibu rumah tangga dan 95,04 untuk ibu yang bekerja paruh waktu di luar rumah. Perhitungan Independent Sample t-Test diperoleh t hitung > t tabel (11,168 > 1,666) dan p value (0,000 < 0,05), maka H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kemandirian anak usia dini ditinjau dari status kerja ibu di Kecamatan Reban Kabupaten Batang.The rise of women’s awareness for self-development in their employment causes the decrease of women’s attention as a mother towards the children which can influence the children’s independence. Nowadays, the children raised by housewives tend to be more spoiled than the children raised by working mothers. This study aims to determine the level of early childhood independence in terms of mothers’ employment. The hypothesis mentions that there are differences in early childhood independence between the children of housewives and the children of part-time working mothers. This study is quantitative research and the subjects are the children of 4-6 years old raised by either housewives or part-time working mother in Reban subdistrict Batang regency. The techniques of gathering data uses early childhood independence scale, meanwhile the data analysis applies Independent Sample t-Test method. The statistics results in the mean of 82.10 for housewife and 95.04 for working mother. The Independent Sample t-Test shows t count > t table (11.168 > 1.666) and p values (0.000< 0.05). Accordingly, H0 is refused. In conclusion, there are significant differences in early childhood independence in terms of mothers’ employment in Reban Subdistrict Batang regency.
